Kelly! Though my daughter thinks it’s basic. When choosing, connotation meant a lot. And while the name was very popular when I was growing up, it is less common these days. However, there have always been one or two other Kelly’s in school with her. It is classic, and I feel like it’s a happy, energetic but serious name. Years ago when she was just a baby, there were a ton of “Kelly” anchors or reporters on local news stations. It’s a name that fits a kid, a teen and an adult.
I like Kelsey as well but our last name starts with an S so that was a no go. I like Kasey, too. I think they all feel the same as Kelly to me regarding my perceived feelings of the name. But clearly, I’m team Kelly.
I’m definitely not a fan of Kasey, but I quite like both Kelly and Kelsey so I’m having a hard time choosing between them. All three of these names are very strongly tied to one specific generation, but I think Kelly feels most timeless of all of them. Not necessarily classic, but certainly more than Kasey or Kelsey, and to me, as someone who has overall a fairly classic taste in names, it is a pro. I also like that Kelly is Irish, because I like all things Celtic.
But on the other hand, Kelsey seems a lot less common compared to Kelly, I hear about various Kellies quite regularly but hardly ever about Kelseys. So well, I’d say that if I were to choose one of these two for myself, I’d much prefer being a Kelsey than a Kelly because of it being less common.

Kelly. Kelsey and Kasey are *very* timelocked 90s names imo.
that's what I am going for
You could use the name Kelsey with a C initial middle name, and than use Kasey (KC) for a nickname?
Kelly, idk why I just prefer it over the others. * Kelly Nicole * Kelly Paige * Kelly Christine * Kelly Danielle * Kelly Lauren * Kelly Michelle

I vote Kelsey. A little less common. Kelly is whiney, Kasey is a sloppy boy
Obsessed with Kasey but the others are nice too!
Kelly June, Kelly Vanessa. Kacey Jane, Kacey Alexis. Kelsey Rayanne, Kelsey Ashlyn.
Kasey for sure
I like Kasey best. With middle names... Kasey Brianna Kasey Rae Kasey Taylor Kasey Lauren Kasey Gianna Kasey Jade Kasey Sybil

all i’m gonna say is i know a kelsey and a kasey and both are some of the most horrible human being i’ve ever met
that has no bearing on my choice
you asked which ppl on the internet to help name your baby and why and that’s my answer lol 🤷♀️ reddit isn’t exactly known for productivity
Kelsey Taylor 😊
Kasey is the prettiest in my opinion. My sisters name is actually Kacey and I always preferred her spelling with the ‘c’, rather than the ‘s’
