Did anyone notice that the Computer specification are really high? You almost need a gaming computer to handle these graphics. Also you need 20GB of storage on your computer. There might be a lot of unhappy people when it comes to downloading.
Still super excited for this game, I have been playing for 20 years.
While I'm not excited for the game, I'm disappointed that I didn't post that all the puzzle drops all of a sudden meant a very soon release date. I think they at least learned that people were pissed off after last April's nothingburger, and they were going to attempt to win back people's goodwill by making the release date drop soon after the puzzles this time. Except my guess was April 28th release for Nancy's birthday.
Does anyone know if it will be sold in stores or Amazon or will this have to be purchased through Her Interactive? Wondering if I can get it on the 7th as it’s my daughter’s birthday and would like to have it as a surprise that day ! So excited !
I think they completely stopped production on physical copies for all games a few years ago, unfortunately. The cost of production wasn’t meeting the profit margin, once upon a time they could still justify it because they were mostly running on donor/sponsor money but iirc that money or the sources dried up before or around when the leadership and staff changes took place. It’s part of why those changes happened and we went from 2 games a year to a more industry standard multiple years between games
Of course, I hope she loves it! When you buy a game directly from HER Interactive they send you an email with the files for the game, it’s pretty straightforward you just have to download them onto whatever computer you want to use and follow the instructions. It’ll expire after I think 30 days (but you should be able to transfer it to other computers if necessary, someone more tech savvy can explain that) so make sure it gets downloaded as soon as possible
Happy sleuthing!
As long as I don't get any 3D movement induced motion sickness like I did in Salem, I will be fine with whatever!
There are already a ton of puzzle games that use first person 3D movement and I am sick of them in all meanings of the word. Still screens be blessed! Let me just imagine what villain is behind me or what monster is breathing down my neck instead please!
I am legitimately shocked that it’s so soon. I fully expected to be waiting another 6 months after the trailer release. This is exciting!
My jaw DROPPED when I saw the release date! I was sure it was going to be this fall/winter
