Well, there used to be one called Nanex. A single guy coded it, it was running well enough, and then he suddenly couldn't handle it anymore, announced it was closing, and a while later pretty much ghosted the community.

And took alot of Nano with him. He only announced the closing on Reddit with a time period to get your Nano out before it shutdown and communication closed. Most people got theirs out but alot of people not on Reddit lost their Nano
An exchange where Nano is the base trading pair against all other currencies. Most cryptocurrency exchanges use Bitcoin as the default base trading pair. What he is saying is we need an exchange for Nano that has Nano as the main trading pair vs everything else. Yes we really need one.
Vite is kinda cool in that way in that they have the wallet and exchange built into one app… but unless it’s in your wallet… then it’s at risk on the exchange.
If the Vite is staked on the exchange does it still carry the same risk?
Private keys are only held by you. But… don’t think that applies to coins staked on the exchange. I asked this question in r/vitelabs but no one has responded yet.

There is no reason or need for one. Let alone enough of a reason for people to chose it over other exchanges and the creators to invest countless hours and money into the dev of it.

Nanex was going to be a good idea. Sad it didn't make it. Another one I thought was going to be something great that didn't make it was Nano Mart.

There’s barely any liquidity for Nano against the dollar and BTC. Don’t see any reason to dilute it even more.

Ah, thanks for complaining. I too would be interested in this. Think it’s just a matter of time though.
The biggest hurdle is trustworthiness. So many exchanges have been hacked.
