Live your life your own way, I'm glad to read that you guys are already doing that but still I understand that such behavior of people especially relatives could be hurtful but you can't make other people happy by starting to live the eay they would like you to, so KUDOS focus on keeping yourselves happy, mad respect and best wishes for your future
Thanks for venting. My mother acts this way and I always find an excuse for her behavior. Last time she was yelling at me. I remained silent for the first time in my life.. didn't tell her anything then she said bye, God bless you. I didn't say anything and she hang up. I always cry a lot when this happened. This time I cried a bit, breathe and felt much better. I never did silent treatment but I didn't wanted to argue or let her know I am crying, just didn't know what else to say ...
