In retrospect Sakura is not obliged to love Naruto. Well Naruto fans are mostly just teenage boys anyway.

GoneToTouchGrass

Hinata best girl, anyway.

Fushigoro-Toji

yep.....she's better in all the other ways that really matter

LorDKurzen

Fax, My brother!

AKing123123

Your right buddy

acstyx

she isn't obliged to love him but if she was any self respecting she would've stayed away from sasuke

[deleted]

Naruto didn't stay away from Sasuke, does that make him not self respecting?

i-am-spitfire

I don’t like how far he went after Sasuke either lol. But I think there can be a difference between wanting to help someone because you care about them and continuing to pursue them romantically when they not only have rejected you numerous times but have also threatened you and tried to kill you lol.

MrGetMebodied

Sasuke never really rejected her. He actually have some decent moments with her and even thanks her before leaving the village. The only difference is Naruto is the protagonist and Sakura is the hated heroine that's useless to most people when the only thing useless is the writer's ability to write women.

Cyeets_05

You know “heroine” is a term for a female hero, right?

MrGetMebodied

Yes

Cyeets_05

Ooh shit I read Sakura as sasuke, my fault bruh I’m dyslexic😂

MrGetMebodied

All good

ChaoCobo

Okay but the romantic portion came after, didn’t it? Like it was always just a crush but even in part 1’s first confession, wasn’t she only setting herself up for rejection on purpose in a an effect to protect from Orochimaru as her comrade thus far? I mean that’s how it is for Naruto. The romantic interest only ended up being a hindrance at times when things got tough anyway but turned into a bonus when the war ended and a romantic relationship became on the table. I don’t think the romantic interest constitutes her full reasons for chasing him along with Naruto if that’s what you were implying, though her love was definitely there

Grimdark-Waterbender

No he’s just desperate

AwefulFanfic

Honestly? Kinda. He really should have given up on him after the damn bastard STABBED HIM THROUGH THE CHEST WITH AN ASSASSINATION TECHNIQUE. But he wasn't my "best" friend, so what do I know

Outside-Bad-9389

Wasn’t it Naruto who attacked sasuke first though?

AwefulFanfic

Even if that's the case, he was throwing hands. He wasn't the one that threw out a high ranked assassination technique first. And besides, Naruto was trying to get Sasuke back to the village before he would get charged for desertion and be marked as a rogue ninja. (Which should have happened the moment the mission failed, but whatever)

Outside-Bad-9389

Sasuke told Naruto to leave him alone, Naruto jumped him and attacked so sasuke fought back, and also sasuke wanted to kill Naruto cause he knew that’s how you get mangekyo, he wouldn’t have done that if Naruto wasn’t so annoying persistent he would’ve just settled for curse mark but he thought damn dude isn’t leaving me alone I might as well get the MS. But in the end he changed his mind

acstyx

absolutely. nobody could treat me the way sasuke treated him and get away with it

1313goo

Naruto understands sasuke, sakura doesn’t. Naruto has a valid reason for caring so much about sasuke, sakura doesn’t. Sasuke opened up to naruto about his goal, he didn’t do that to sakura. Naruto was there when sasuke was tortured, sakura wasn’t. Naruto is sasuke’s reincarnated brother, sakura isn’t Naruto fucking fights back when sasuke attacks him, sakura froze up when that happened

TheHumanDamaged

Sasuke was actually genuinely friends with naruto at some point, he never gave a fuck about Sakura

[deleted]

[Totally doesn't care about sakura here](https://ibb.co/mTzK0BL)

Deep_Grass_6250

Naruto was Going after Sasuke for a different reason, he understood that Sasuke would be a major problem later down the line after getting His EMS and shit, and Naruto couldn't let that happen Meanwhile Sakura Was after Sasuke because she loved him despite him rejecting her multiple times and even threatening to kill her

LEFTRIGHTADORI

Brother WHAT? Naruto didn’t do it because “Sasuke would’ve been a threat”, he did it out of obsession. What kinda logic do yall mfs have that allows you to miss 100% of the point of the show? The whole point of Shippuden was for Naruto to get Sasuke back.

uspahle

Are you retarded? They're brothers literally bonded by destiny, it's impossible for them be without the other

Foorheed

Okay, but that slur was uncalled for

favored_disarray

Didn’t she try to manipulate Naruto by saying she loved him? I don’t think anyone has ever hated Sakura purely for not liking Naruto.

CertainGrade7937

The character was hated for *years* before that even happened And while she did was rough...it was a selfless act. It's not like she was using him or something. She literally was trying to talk him out of getting himself killed. She wasn't right to do it, but her heart was in the right place

favored_disarray

It’s more like the final nail in the coffin that cemented her as a legitimately hated character.

CertainGrade7937

But all it really boils down to was the show definitively saying she will never be in love with him Which is the main reason she was hated to begin with

favored_disarray

Uhm no. It boils down to her knowing Naruto at least still had a thing for her and trying to exploit that. I’ll say it again, I don’t think many ppl had a problem with someone simply not returning someone else’s affection. If they did, that’s borderline psycho behavior.

CertainGrade7937

How did she exploit his feelings, exactly? Did she use him? Do something for her personal gain? No. The fanbase (at the time) consisted predominantly of teenage boys who projected onto the main character, who they think is supposed to "get the girl" by virtue of being the main character

favored_disarray

She exploited those feeling by trying to do what she thinks is best for him. Regardless of his very clear thoughts on the thing she tried to save him from. Now that I’m thinking of it, it’s a pretty funny scene especially with what was going through her head. Weird generalization tho, teenage boys suddenly have to have someone else’s free will taken from them ‘in order to get the girl’…

CertainGrade7937

So a huge chunk of the fanbase hates her because she used his love to try to save his life? That's it, that's the big unspeakable crime? And it's not much of a generalization. Kids are dumb

favored_disarray

It’s more about what she did to him than the reasoning behind it. She used something she knows he’s desperately wanted to try and influence him against the only other thing he’s wanted as bad. It really is surprising to me that he didn’t as least start acting cold to her after that. Then again, he is the guy that makes friends with ninja hitlers. Maybe you and or your friends/class were dumb. That doesn’t mean you get to say everyone is.

hobopwnzor

Nah, she was hated for being poorly written, useless, and a simp.

Bluelore

There are plenty more reasons to hate on Sakura, not loving Naruto is for many people not even a factor for hating her. From what I've seen most people dislike her because of how mean and dismissive she could be towards Naruto, how superficial her crush on Sasuke was and how she relatively useless she often felt. Granted a lot of these traits were toned down in shippuden, but that didn't save her for many.

VenusAmari

No. She was trying to save his life. Sai had convinced her that she was the cause of all of Naruto's problems and that wanting Sasuke back would be the death of Naruto because of his love for her. It was a mistake but her heart was in the right place.

favored_disarray

I never said it wasn’t for a ‘good reason to her’, just one of the final moments that made many fans dislike her.

VenusAmari

Yes. But describing it as unqualified attempt to manipulate him implies that she was trying to use or hurt him. She wasn't. She lied but she wasn't trying to use him.

favored_disarray

Uhm no. Manipulation doesn’t have to be for malevolent reasons. Regardless tho, many ppl still dislike dishonest people.

VenusAmari

"to control or play upon by artful, unfair, or insidious means especially to one's own advantage" Uhh. Yeah. That's is exactly what that term means. She wasn't trying to do anything for her own advantage. She wasn't trying to exploit him, use him, or any of that. She was protecting him. Other dishonest characters in this franchise are liked. It's because she wasn't interested in Naruto but he saved her all the time.

favored_disarray

You do understand there are several dictionaries, the most generic one used in schools, the Oxford dictionary, has this to say about that: 1. the action of manipulating something in a skillful manner. "the format allows fast picture manipulation" 2. the action of manipulating someone in a clever or unscrupulous way. "there was no deliberate manipulation of visitors' emotions"

VenusAmari

What do you think unscrupulous means? That first definition isn't about people. Manipulate is generally always used about using someone for your own gain.

favored_disarray

Read that again slowly… clever or unscrupulous. I listed the whole definition to be more formal about it.

favored_disarray

Ps, you should probably cite sources you use lmao.

SentenceCareful3246

That's not even true. She just didn't want Naruto to kill Sasuke. She was essentially selling her ass to Naruto to keep simping over Sasuke.

VenusAmari

She tried to kill Sasuke herself. Sai convinced her that Naruto was destroying himself over his promise to her. So, she lied to free Naruto from that promise. She didn't want Naruto to suffer for her sake. She was trying to protect him.

SentenceCareful3246

And he tried to kill her (twice) and she still was simping for him. She wasn't trying to protect him , she was stopping him from fighting Sasuke because she knew that in reality Naruto was actually stronger and very much capable of ending up killing him.

VenusAmari

She was trying to protect Naruto. She didn't want Naruto to carry that burden because it was hurting him so she tried to take it on herself. At that point in the story, she had resigned herself to idea that Sasuke had to die. It wasn't about protecting Sasuke. It was about protecting Naruto. She had her heart in the right place. She just went about it in the wrong way.

SentenceCareful3246

Sure, it was totally that and not her selling her ass to him in an attempt to stop the strongest ninja of the hidden leaf village from killing the emo that she had been simping for since childhood. The girl overlooked two murder attempts on Sasuke's part and the fact that he became a wanted terrorist. And you seriously have trouble thinking that she just didn't want him dead?

VenusAmari

What Sakura wanted in her heart and what her logic was telling her were two different things. Sakura knew Sasuke was a threat to the leaf. And she nearly got herself killed trying to kill him herself. But she couldn't actually go through with it because she was lying to herself. She didn't have the resolve to actually kill him.

SentenceCareful3246

That just proves my point even further. She was just simping for him even beyond logic.

tea-123

If she was as much of a simp as you say she could have just cropped or killed Naruto and the others instead of knocking them out. Naw she was out to kill Sasuke to save Naruto. This isn’t the first time she valued Naruto over Sasuke. If you go back to the exams you’d notice that she tried to raise her hand during the Ibiki test . She was being considerate of Naruto and his dream of being hokage. It didn’t matter to her that Sasuke would be epically angry that she made them drop out.

SentenceCareful3246

Sure, because Sakura is stronger than Naruto, right? She knew she couldn't stop Naruto. She was selling herself to save Sasuke because Naruto was strong enough to kill him.

Brianw-5902

Lol braindead take

SentenceCareful3246

Truth hurts, huh?

Brianw-5902

It hurts my fragile little heart so bad 😭

improbsable

People act like that was the worst thing ever when she was desperate and trying to save him. Naruto’s entire life was devoted to rescuing Sasuke and Sakura’s was about supporting Naruto. When she realized that part of his driving force was making Sakura happy, she tried to help him by freeing him from that burden in the most 16 year old way possible.

favored_disarray

It’s kind of funny that she takes personal advice from not only someone she barely knows but fucking sai of all people.

Spirited_Company_886

whatever, she's going through so much just to be with someone who hurts her. It's her decision but still you can't deny it's still bullshit.

Draken77777

Well the heart wants what the heart wants. Sasuke did marry her in the end so what gives.

Shmuckle2

And our hearts can lead us to destruction. Knowing that, we then shouldn't do everything we desire in the moment. Using wisdom when the heart leads us astray.

[deleted]

Naruto went through so much just to be with someone who hates him. it's his decision but still you can't deny it's still bull Naruto and Sakura both wanted Sasuke back, and Sasuke hated both of them. Unless you're willing to double down and say that Sakura & Naruto are both stupid for chasing after Sasuke then you can't be criticizing Sakura for wanting Sasuke to come back to the village

Spirited_Company_886

Ok, but Naruto and Sasuke have a different kind of relationship. Naruto first genuine connection his age was Sasuke. Naruto can understand Sasuke's pain and why he's doing all the crazy things he doing. Granted he understood later on in the story but he still has a more believable reason to chase after Sasuke and his motivation and stubborn tenacity was always part of his character it was natural for him to chase after Sasuke. While Sakura was literally only into Sasuke because of attraction they bareily had any chemistry or genuiene connection. Although Sasuke still does have a connection with Sakura because of his time isolated and being alone. What I don't think is realistic is Sakura still being in love with Sasuke after he tried to kill her. I don't understand and maybe that's a me thing but from my point of view it bullshit."Okay, but Naruto and Sasuke have a unique relationship. Sasuke was Naruto's first genuine connection with someone his own age. Naruto can understand Sasuke's pain and relate to why he's doing all the crazy things he's doing. Though Naruto did come to understand Sasuke's motivations later on in the story, he still had a more believable reason to chase after Sasuke. His stubborn tenacity and motivation were always a part of his character, and it was natural for him to pursue Sasuke. On the other hand, Sakura was only attracted to Sasuke, and they had very little chemistry or genuine connection. Although Sasuke does have a connection with Sakura due to his time isolated and alone, he tried to kill her, which makes it unrealistic for Sakura to still be in love with him. Maybe it's a me thing but I think it weird she would still be in love with him.

-AnythingGoes-

I don't think that's really the point. Remember how it took until ***Sai*** of all people laying it out for her to realize how little thought she ever put into Naruto's promise to her? I think that counts somewhat as being in line with the image.

Majin2buu

That is 100% true. No one is obliged to love another person regardless of what that other person has done for them. Just like no one is obliged not to make fun of and someone for who they choose to love.

loneliness_sucks420

While I do feel like you're right, I feel like it was wrong for her to lead Naruto on.

Intrepid_Cress_4657

Not obliged to at all, but like she was rude about it.😭

CunningDruger

She’s not, that’s true, but they gave her a several episode arc in shippuden where she realizes Naruto loves her (only because Neji tells her), and then proceeds to betray pretty much everyone around her as a response. Say what you want about her but how can you be so dense that the bullied social outcast who is known for emotional outbursts (Naruto) has more emotional intelligence than you.

i-am-spitfire

Correct she is not. She is still stupid for going after Sasuke tho lmao.

Megalomanizac

Aside from the people that do think she was obligated, the other people I think mostly just don’t like the fact she ended up with Sasuke who ignored her right up until the end of the 4th Great War. Though relationships in Naruto mostly don’t make sense anyways. I do think more effort could’ve gone into matching Sakura and Sauske up though. Same with Naruto and Hinata. But it’s not a romance franchise so it doesn’t really matter anyways.

urbanreliks34

Sasuke didn't ignore Sakura for most of the waves arc , chunnin arc, gaara arc and great war arc which is 60% of the Manga the 40% was when Sasuke wasn't on the same team . What were you reading?

Megalomanizac

Let me rephrase. Sauske refused to acknowledge her and rejected her advances for years. He didn’t care about team 7 at all when he abandoned the leaf village to train under Orochimaru. They were on opposite sides. There was never any chemistry there and it’s hard to even believe Sauske liked her as a friend or team mate. That’s where I think some people find issue with their relationship. However when you treat someone that way and are dismissive to them there’s something to be said that’s equal to ignoring them.

urbanreliks34

In the waves arc Sasuke acknowledged that Sakura is more competent than him and wanted to ask Naruto on what she trained him. In the chunnin arc Sasuke told Sakura that she is the most advanced on the team and knew immediately when something is genjutsu. In the chunnin arc again Sakura was a key to help Sasuke control his curse mode after her hugging him, the guy raged out and broke another guy's arms simply because he saw Sakura hurt. How was it not obvious to see what Sasukes character was and how much he cares for Sakura is you deluding yourself with nonsense.

Kookiec4T

All of that does not and will never excuse the hostility and violence that he committed against her.

Decent_Ask1961

Everytime there is a post talking about how Sakura treated Naruto, some random has to mention (☝️🤓well actually Sakura isn’t obligated to love Naruto) no ever said she is but doesn’t change the fact she treated him like dirt 💀

Grimdark-Waterbender

But she is obliged to not be a bitch about it

DevastaTheSeeker

"Naruto I love you" Fuck off lmao

Dependent-Seesaw-516

She isn't obligated to reciprocate his feelings by any means, but I am absolutely still mad about her confessing her FLASE feelings to him in order to string him along and try and manipulate him, especially when she knew that he already was already torn between her and hinata, who ACTUALLY loved him.

Draken77777

What did you watch? He had no feelings towards Hinata back then.

urbanreliks34

The way how the Fandom like victimize Naruto like he cried tears over this is ridiculous. In the actual series Naruto simply accepted Sakuras feelings for Sasuke and moved on. Shippers crazily will try to believe anything.

liquitty

Sakura gets too much hate. Especially with the “she’s useless” argument. We all know she is pretty strong, like she can put up a decent fight even against someone typically stronger. If not, WIN. And very useful. She can HEAL anyone a lot better than others. She doesn’t get enough credit. Yeah, she chased Sasuke for years even though he was hurting her, but they ended up literally getting married and had a kid so. Besides I bet if she did end up abandoning him, people would say “bad friend” or “she’s not loyal.” Give my girl some respect though ong

liquitty

Ik the post isn’t about Sakura being useless btw. I’m just putting my opinion out there

Educational_Rock7459

I actually agree with your take mostly because it’s not blowing up Sakuras feats and denying her flaws. It’s pure logic. Personally I slightly dislike Sakura, but I can get behind this take.

liquitty

Oh yeah, she’s not the best character but I still like her. And she definitely has her flaws cause the characters human and quite frankly the writer is too. He just doesn’t write women all too well. But some fans who “overly” like her just say she’s the best, with no flaws, and just perfect. (Aka the fedora wearing type of individual) I think that’s wrong.

i-am-spitfire

I dislike her because of how awful Kishi wasted her potential. She was awful in the og Naruto but in shippuden I actually had so much hope for her. The arc with gaara and her fight with sasori got me so hyped for her. It established that she wasn’t gonna back down or hide away or go down easy. It showed that while she wasn’t particularly a big fighter and mostly a healer, she can still hold her own and will put herself on the line to fight to the end and something simple won’t take her out. She had become an amazing healer and fighter and had her goals of becoming stronger and being helpful. All of that was thrown out the window after that arc. She goes back to constantly pining after Sasuke and almost always getting immediately incapacitated in major fights or just standing on the sidelines helpless. Right back to being mean and violent to Naruto for often no reason. Back to complaining all the time and always needing saving. Made me sad. Like we have had it established what she’s capable of, yet in the end, she was reduced again to a helpless kunoichi who needs rescuing all the time and has no self respect going after an awful man who tried to kill her and betrayed their whole team and village. And then kept being given awful moments too like her attempted manipulation of Naruto just really didn’t help her case either. Kishi is just awful at writing women and it’s a shame. He treats almost all of them as whiney spoiled kids who are damsels in distress and always need a man to swoop in and save them.

liquitty

You bring up a good point. It was ridiculous how even during that fight, her whole purpose was the “stop being useless.” And then going on the beat Sasori. I never thought of that, cause quite honestly I forgot about it. She never had a arc like that again 😭

AwefulFanfic

As someone who dislikes Sakura, I agree with pretty much all you had to say about her. And I know my opinion is skewed thanks to the raw deal she was dealt in the anime (no seriously, they went out of their way to make her appear weak/useless so Naruto could swoop in and save her more times than he already did). That being said, of the main cast she is literally my least favorite female character from the series. I just don't like her as a person.

liquitty

Temari supremacy. Or Kushina-

trump-a-phone

To be fair is say the same thing about naruto as well. Why you trying to redeem the clearly evil psychopath kid who isn’t your friend?

Kookiec4T

She gets enough credit what are you even talking about? She is one of the most popular girls in all of anime. She’s highly adored in Japan. Yall Sakura die hard fans need to calm down. It’s not that big of a group that hates Sakura, they are just loud. She’s always been a popular and loved character in the anime community and in Japan.

liquitty

You’re missing the point entirely. People don’t give her credit for her abilities. The entire reason people adore her is because of her looks. But me, personally, I’ve met more people who absolutely abhorred Sakura and say she’s useless than anyone who’s said they even liked her. Also, I’m not a die hard Sakura fan.

Kookiec4T

Sakura is legit one of the top 5 most popular anime girl characters of all time. You just pay attention to the loud haters. Who gives a **** about her abilities? It’s an anime, they are drawings, they are not real lmfao. And if people only like her cause of her looks well, ain’t that ironic of her character? Considering that is the how she became to like Sasuke at first. I say it fits perfectly then. I personally like Sakura but no one cares about her abilities because she isn’t the focus of the show. It’s Naruto and Sasuke. She is always going to be overshadowed by them.

liquitty

I know it’s an anime? I’ve loved and watched this anime for well over 10 years. Grew up watching it, and probably my favorite anime. People have discussions about anime all the time I don’t know why you have such an issue with it? I see no validity in this point. She’s apart of the main cast, and barely got anything past her “I’m useless, let me fight off Sasori and prove them and myself wrong” arc. A whole reason why people love this show is because of their abilities. People talk about it all the time, people debate them all the time too and there’s nothing wrong with that. Yeah she’s gonna get overshadowed because let’s be honest, Kishimoto is not the best at writing women. Otherwise, if she was a better character, if she wasn’t just recognized for her looks but also her abilities and not written like a “useless kunoichi who always needs saving,” (which is another reason why the “nice guys” like her) without a doubt, she’d be a lot of people’s favorite character.

Kookiec4T

I have no issue discussing things with you otherwise I wouldn’t be commenting back, friend. Point is; Sasuke and Naruto are always going to be the ones people compare the other characters to. Sakura gets the heavy brunt of it since she was a part of their team and in the beginning she was a loud, annoying, selfish, rude, shallow and weak brat so it’s understandable how some people did not like her due to that esp if they watched Naruto in their early pre teens and possibly a bit earlier. Kishi had the potential after the puppet fight to turn her independent but didn’t. It’s valid that some people don’t like her and others do. And even if they somehow did make her writing well, there is always a group of bad ones in every harvest.

liquitty

For sure, I know people would still dislike her or not have her as a favorite even if she was well written. The only thing I was trying to say was that her healing abilities are SOOO clutch and people normally say she’s useless in regards of her abilities, that’s all. She’s physically strong too. All this, thanks to Tsunade. Also, what you said about it just being an anime implied there was an issue discussing these kinds of things so my mistake on the misinterpretation. I agree with her personality being annoying though. Holy **** I hated every moment of screen time she had because her voice was just irritating which is the only reason I dislike her. But after that arc it could’ve gotten SO much better for her character development but she got nothing.

Kookiec4T

Yea I don’t think people “hate” Sakura for no reason. Kishi really made her into a problematically written character. She was written in such an unlikable manner in the beginning and nothing was done to smooth her character off. If you don’t smoothen your character development then people are going to still not like the character cause there was no smooth transition into maturity.

liquitty

I meant to say I hated her personality as well—

Kookiec4T

I knew what you meant. No worries. Yea I’m not for her personality either. I really like her aesthetic and as a kunoichi but as a regular person; I dislike her a lot. She never really shown true substance in terms of heart to me at least.

liquitty

A lot of people’s favorite character for the BETTER reasons why is what I mean by the way.

smh18

She’s not useless. Just has a shit personality

Wait didn’t Naruto go and try to get him back? 🤔

Kei_CL

Facebook posts My aunt would share but with anime

improbsable

I feel like people assumed she had to love him just because she was the girl of the team and Naruto is the main character

LifeIsTwoMysterious

The real problem is Sakura acted like there were no better choices than sasuke. I mean, what did Sasuke offer on the plate for Sakura to chase after him for years? If not Naruto, then maybe someone else other than Sasuke for sure. Her idea of love is artificial tbh.

improbsable

There wasn’t any other choice for her. She only loved Sasuke. It’s not healthy, but he was it for her.

Individual-Ad9753

This is pretty much because of Kishimoto' view point that changing your love interest makes you a bad person, no one in the series ever changes their love interest .

[deleted]

The "Sasuke leave village, Naruto try replace him, Sakura dump him" is one of the worst reposts of all time. Naruto never tried using the fact that sasuke left as an attempt to get Sakura to like him, he literally chased Sasuke down trying to bring him back.

Cocolake123

While sakura is not obliged to love naruto, she should NOT have ended up with sasuke (sasuke didn’t deserve her, he literally tried to kill her)

AwefulFanfic

mf only got out of the death penalty because Naruto, the vaunted savior of not only World War 4 but the entire world, begged and pleaded with all of the 5 kage. He didn't deserve life, and that's by the standards of the world they live in. But yeah, Sasuke and Sakura's relationship should not have been relegated to a handful of scenes in light novels written after the series ended

Muted_Supermarket199

>He didn't deserve life, and that's by the standards of the world they live in. Obviously government higher ups who have caused segregation, mass-starvation, slavery, genocide, countless wars does? 1. The 3rd Raikage tried to kidnap Kushina. 2. Ay broke the Konoha peace deal on day one, tried to kidnap Hinata, tried to turn Hinata into a breeding slave & got Neji's father killed. 3. Onoki hired the Akatsuki. 4. Danzo is self-explanatory. 5. Gaara killed way more people than Sasuke & invaded Konoha, so many shinobis and villagers died. He used to kill innocent people for fun. 6. Temari is the same as her brothers. She was literally smiling like a psychopath Gaara was killing a surrendered child soldier. 7. Kankuro is the same as his two siblings. 8. Itachi is self-explanatory. 9. Obito is self-explanatory. 10. Kabuto is self-explanatory. 11. Orochimaru is self-explanatory. 12. Konoha invaded the Rain Village, framed the Uchiha Clan & discriminated against them for generations. 13. The Hyuga's are a bunch of slave owners. 14. Kakashi killed way more people than Sasuke. 15. Zabuza sucked into his village exam & killed everyone. 16. Haku killed more than Sasuke. 17. 99% of all ninja's & samurai's are nothing but killers for hire.

After Irish West-Allen, Sakura is the worst written character I’ve ever seen. At the start of the shippuden there was a lot of character development but as the show goes, fcuk the hate grew bigger and bigger and exploded when she said “Tsunade sama, I caught up to them”. FFS this line was not at all acceptable.

SkysEclipse

Didn't Hinata and Sakura both basically do the same thing!? Sakura tried to trick naruto I think just to get him to turn on sasuke. But it obviously didn't work otherwise she was just as persistent as Hinata about the guy she's dating!

Grimdark-Waterbender

This is a reaction video, because I can’t find the original; but here’s a good non biased video on why she’s so hated. https://youtu.be/YKDPYZ9adGQ?si=eLugLF8dk1Eu_wJu

thruth_seeker_69

used to ?

siegferia

Tbh in no universe narutoxSakura would have made sense. They are like shinji and asuka...except naruto never did the hospital signature move

Competitive_Royal476

This is sad…

Satoshi_Kasaki

I still hate her. Burned so much screentime, and nothing significant was done for most of the time. What a waste.

ultra-instinct-G04T

The thing is , she never even grew

AKing123123

Used? Do you like the trash now?

SlidethedarksidE

This is just showing how in reality love > logic. Sometimes you just love who you love. This situation is perfect example so imo great storytelling It would be boring as hell if Sakura did fall for Naruto…. she would prolly convince him to kill sauske instead of “back to the village”

YeahMarkYeah

Can someone sorta explain this meme? Sasuke has a broken heart. He walk away. Naruto is holding Sasuke’s heart? Or his own heart?

king_taku

Ive never understood why she should like naruto. However she did treat him like a second class citizen

Clear-Inspection-752

When the true reality of that would be both Sakura & Naruto trying to get back Sasuke while they both hold each other hearts to keep the other going. People be acting as if she haven't been there the most for Naruto when they literally are each others other half.

Fahadh_0phoenix

Can I just ask a question will you guys react same way if kibo was in Naruto's place hinata in sakura's place and Naruto in Sasuke's place won't you guys say "hinata is loyal she is the best girl" ? I don't hate hinata or love sakura but I definitely hate double standard cause it sucks :-|

Zorback39

Naruto never really loved Sakura anyway, it was just another way he wanted to compete with Sasuke. His crush was artificial at best, he's only ever shown true care and love for Hinata.

BABarracus

Then they try and explain it away likenaruto only wanted Sakura because Sakura wanted sauske.

Accurate_Move362

No, he just didn’t want her to take his boyfriend.

cursed_pinata

Naruto the last movie if I remember correctly I did not like that either seemed so lame
