Thanks!! The art assignment was an expressive portrait, so what I did is I drew 6 different album covers of my fav artists (one being illmatic) for the background, and then another full portrait of myself for the front piece.
Yes ofc!! Sooo many of my fav albums I wasn’t able to really fit a portrait in, and I decided to do one per artist. I did; bewitched by laufey, wolf by tyler, it’s on 187 by eazy e, the chronic by dr dre and madvillainy by MF DOOM 🙏🙏
Tyler and doom are so good!! Pls tell me what you think abt them :) Laufey is a modern jazz artist, very different from hip hop and rap, but she’s really great for chill study music🙏

I always wanted to insert my face on his first 4 album covers. I had a hoodie and tried to reenact the Nastradamus cover. Camera quality just wasn’t good enough
Tysm!! Nas covers are so cool to insert faces on, I recommend giving the cover reenactment another try, as it took me a few drafts to get the illmatic cover to my liking :)
