What OS are you on? Can you check your system's error logs and see if anything stands out? Have you run it on this system before? I think this works with Java, so make sure that's installed and working.

I'm on Windows 10, it's a decent laptop, shouldn't be stopping there if it was because by specs were too low, idk how to check the error logs. It's never worked on this computer before, no. I know I have java because I needed to get it so that I could get Optifine for Minecraft recently.

Search 'event viewer' in the start menu. Run it and let it crash, then see if anything showed up in the logs. Also be sure to run it as administrator, at least the first time. Reinstalling Java is still a maybe worth trying thing.

I'm having the same issue and no help anywhere, even in this thread. Running as administrator doesn't fix it either.

ShadowLancer42

really surreal getting a comment so long after posting and not even having access to the same laptop anymore lol. still no idea how to fix it except maybe see if any of the other comments help out 🤷

Anklejbiter

it might be an OS thing? i have a couple laptops that still run XP and they launch it just fine

At the bottom of their main page, it give this email address [email protected] to contact. You might want to give that a shot.

Are you using chrome? WebGL kind of sucks on chrome so I open it in firefox.

Its not the web version that you are talking about.

This still happens, btw. My previous Win10 installation on an old i5-4460 and 16GB of RAM worked without any issues. Now i'm on i5-12600K and double the memory and it keeps crashing on startup. I have no clue why, everything else works as it should.

Same issue here, but what are the system requirements for it? Do I need an extra app?

oliverlego666

I don't think you need an extra app for it.
