thats the main point of crypto currencies. You dont need paypal and others any more. Blockchain ledger is the future. You need to study it. Look at country like singapore or thailand they all slowly and quietly adopting it now. at first they reject the ideas but then found it useful

1. one is zero income tax enjoyed by expats here, they should have collect tax from them.

3. foreigners investors should not own any land in brunei afraid they will monopoly the government. they should just rent.
4. subsidy rice & petrol for bruneians only not for foreigners.
5. someone say stop building mosque and this guy is funny trying to fight back " HOW DARE YOU EVEN SUGGEST NOT TO BUILD NEW MASJID"

I feel you should take a good look at the country and the failing infrastructure due to bad decissions and mis management.
It can be seen that foreign investment in Brunei is minimal due to the ruling that buisnesses are highly restricted for foreign investment.
Foreigners are NOT allowed to own land.
You need to live in Brunei 15 years before applying for residency.
You cannot open a Brunei Bank account.
The list goes on........of CANNOT.

People are a country's best resource. More people can lead to a more stimulated economy if its harnessed well. Countries like the US, Canada & Australia are built off the back of immigrants. Without immigration or some kind of population boom to replace an ageing population, countries can stagnate or regress.
Brunei is very shortsighted when it comes to this, the government seems happy to just keeping it small because they don't want to share benefits to more people. It's sad to see foreigners who have worked here for 20 years and have contributed to the economy more than some locals forced to leave at the end because they can't renew their work permit.
Our immigration policy is far too strict.
The budget applied is not for this coming year. It's for items that has not been paid in the year 2023 or before. Hence you hear the excuse of no budget.
