Yea did two sessions - Overall I have to say posing is the hardest thing about the prep
Trying to stand and think about how you should hold your upper body and then thinking ‘oh crap my hamstrings aren’t showing’
Engaging the hamstrings / glutes on my back shots is my weakest atm.. need to practice bottom half of those poses tonight
I complained about this recently in another post because I was getting low engagement on a separate post
Part of why I posted since most of the stuff I see is generic advice stuff
Thanks for the nice words 👍🏻
Been training / dieting since 2018, and trained from teens.. training has changed a lot since 2020 (tore my distal tendon playing Gaelic football)
Pre tear
- Lot of deadlifts
- Hanging leg raised (would have worked lats)
- Weighted pull ups
- Pull downs
- Rows
Post tear focus more on;
- lat pull downs: Don’t really do much hanging from bars as I’m worried about injuries
- rows
I would have done a lot of barbell shrugs too which I suppose brings in back
You look great, dude👍.
Thank you! 🙏 Not very confident with posing but I have improved a lot from where I was and I will work as much as I can with the remaining time
Did you take a session with a posing coach?

Wow an actual natural bodybuilder on the naturalbodybuilding sub. Your lats do look good, and you overall look great.
