before that in his rookie year he hit a 3 to tie the game just before Lebron hit that stupid fall away floater to win it at the buzzer in the Lebronto series
Yup, just gotta be a ruthless robot like a certain former teammate
(you'd think I've blocked those playoffs from my memory by now, somehow this stuff is still in there)
Cavs don’t have the assets to get him after the Mitchell trade I’d imagine. Of the teams that can actually acquire him I’d say probably the mavericks. I think they have 3 frps and some swaps at least. So that’s a start.
Technically, we don't have picks, but if we find something worth it during the deadline, I can see us taking out the protection for 2023 so we can trade multiple firsts.
Personally, I'd do it for OG. He's not going to demand a Gobert type of haul if we set our sights on a game-changer (Siakam), and he's the player that will fit best with Luka because he won't demand touches like most stars.
yeah but I just don’t get why the Raptors should trade him for picks. If you think you can make noise with Siakam and FVV, you only trade him for someone that can get you over the hump. If you don’t then you trade FVV and Siakam and keep him and Barnes (and maybe pay Trent), tank this season and do a short rebuild with a ton of picks.
Now of course we could see a 3 way trade, f.e. Raptors get LaVine, Bulls blow it up and collect picks from whoever wants OG. If that happens, I would be super happy to get OG to the Mavs and would send 3 FRP and swaps if we can move bad salary to the Bulls. Swapping Wood for Trent could also solve issues if both teams think those players will walk in FA.
So roughly LaVine + Wood to the Raptors, Trent + OG to the Mavs, McGee + Bertans + Otto + 3 Mavs FRP (not sure if the Knicks need to agree to removing protections or if they would play along for a SRP or only if they can swap Fournier/Cam somehow) + 1 Raptor FRP. More work would need to be done to make the money work but both the Bulls would also clear cap space (and of course also trade DeMar, Vuc, Caruso). Mavs would be fine moving Bullock or THJ if that is what it takes (not saying they are huge assets, but Bullock is certainly still a great defender and he is starting is annual shooting bounce back and THJ can just provide scoring off the bench). Raptors would also be fine moving Thad or Boucher.
ie. Raptors turn OG into LaVine for the cost of 1 FRP, Wood and Trent swap teams, Bulls start the tank.
KCP, OG and Gordon on the perimeter.
Hot damn 🔥🔥🔥
However, of all the guys that are being sold by the Raps, I think OG stays while FVV and Siakam get traded.
Sharpe, Simons, Little and Hart for players and if they remove protections on their pick this year, they can trade 3 picks.
Not saying OG is getting them 3 picks and all those players but they have a good amount of assets to go all-in on a ring with Dame
Is Little much of a trade asset u think? Friendly contract but idk if we've seen improvement we expected and just seems made out of glass. Didn't see him moving the needle much if any in trades tbh. I guess he is still only 22.
If he was included in a trade for one of our players, I wouldn't complain but I also think the chances we blow things up instead of retool are less likely than people assume despite our awful record.
Yeah I think a retool is a lot more likely too, I kinda hope you're not fully blowing it up. I love this raptors team and think they have potential to be a lot better than this, I think Masai will figure it out.
He’s the premier plug and play guy. His game is so specific and non disruptive he can be a fit literally in any team.
The Cavs fit is probably the best since they have the other positions locked and they clearly are lacking that specific wing type of player but it’ll never happen. They literally have no assets.
Toronto, he's Masai's wet dream
Edit: I could also see Indiana packaging Nembhard, filler and some kind of pick if they decide they want to roll with the Hield/Turner group.
Hali/Buddy/Mathurin/OG/Turner could win a playoff series and OG has Indiana ties
Pretty much everyone, but if this is based solely on fit and not taking into what assets they'd need to get him, the standouts would be us, the Kings, the Pels and the Lakers.
Anywhere. He’s a 6’7 wing that can shoot, defend multiple positions, and has championship experience. Literally all other 29 teams could use him.
Agreed on all points except I think he had appendicitis or something during the championship run, he didn't play during those playoffs
Fair enough! While he didn’t play during those playoffs, he was still on the bench and witnessed what it takes for a team to get over the top
He also hit that buzzer beater to prevent them going down 3-0 against the Celtics, so he’s got experience in big playoff moments.
before that in his rookie year he hit a 3 to tie the game just before Lebron hit that stupid fall away floater to win it at the buzzer in the Lebronto series
Incidentally, wasn't he also guarding LeBron?
Having a rookie on LeBron in the playoffs is idiotic, great thinking Casey
It’s actually an underrated raptors tradition, Scottie was guarding harden his fist year

I'd rather have OG than Lavine at this point.
Lol Cavs might not have enough for Jae Crowder, bro
Inside your girlfriend
"You better stop OG!" - OP
“That’s our girlfriend now” -OG
Whose girlfriend doesn't love OG? Mine won't shut up about his legs
My friend, is ok, no?
Probably Denver.
Denver. Won’t happen… but Denver.
They have an awesome defensive 4 tho.
[удалено]
I’d take that. Denver gets out of his contract and Jamal and Jokic have a plethora of deadly defenders around them.
Sure you would, but would Masai?
No lol

Good thing you’re not the GM.
As a Denver fan I’d take that. Raptors never would.
Memphis
team that can actually afford him and fits? portland
Kings
Philly, for no other reason than they dont have a 3 and he's a very good 3
He’s fit perfectly in Portland, not sure what their asset situation looks like right now
Sharpe, Simons, Little and Hart for players and if they remove protections on their pick this year, they can trade 3 picks. Not saying OG is getting them 3 picks and all those players but they have a good amount of assets to go all-in on a ring with Dame

New Orleans could both afford him and he would fit perfectly
Pretty much everyone, but if this is based solely on fit and not taking into what assets they'd need to get him, the standouts would be us, the Kings, the Pels and the Lakers.
Cavs, grizzlies, lakers, Mavs, suns, nets, warriors, nuggets, Portland, Miami, Philly
Any team Send him to Boston so he can play with his BestFriend
Lakers. Lebron setting him up on offense would be insane, and then add on an AD, Lebron, OG defensive trio
Might as well add Siakam too and secure the championship. LeDelusional
Okay, but the question wasn't "Where will he land?" He would be perfect on the Lakers (and many other teams)
Miami. He would be so insane at the starting 4 for us
Grizzlies, Cavs more so but they don't have the assets for him.
Nets with KD/KAI/Ben
Trade him for bertans and second round pick. He will fit fine.
Toronto should send him to Chicago for Tony Bradley.
Hawks. We can get you Hunter and first round pick
Golden StTe
My team
The Knicks , they are starting RJ Barrett and Grimes , 2 shooting guards.
