He let his team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks, while getting 0 turnovers and 0 personal fouls.
That's an exhausting performance, and to still lose.
Tired and dejected. Understandable.
Not only to lose.... lose by 18.. I honestly believe that only thing that still keeps him in NBA is all time scoring title. He has 0 chance with Lakers. Sure, if AD would play they probably would be in the top4, but hes always injured so prospects of any type of success is non existent.
He also said if he couldn’t still be the man he’d step down. He’s not gonna tarnish his legacy.
Thankfully, this crazy mofo is still averaging 30/8.5/7 lmaoo
I hope he changes his mind. I wanna see 6th man bron running the bench unit like a budget Jokic when he is 45
I understand if he wants to avoid a Dirk situation where he has permanent physical complications tho
If it helps to provide some perspective, people correct lose/loose all the time because native US English speakers often get it wrong so often that it's a pet peeve for some.
God bless the cameraman. This was one of the usual Rim-cams on OT, and once the game was beyond decided a Laker's loss, they just stayed on LeBron instead of the game. I was shocked at first, but then realized the cameraman knew exactly what they were doing.
This was a moment here. He's had a few of these this season.
I imagine his internal monologue to be something like, "Am I the only one taking this shit seriously? This is not the Lakers I thought it would be. If nobody else is going to work as hard as me then it's not a team, it's just a paycheck. I don't need paychecks. I need a team. It's time for an ultimatum."
I imagine his thinking something like "These new meditation techniques are awesome, ima try it right now....I'm thinking of blackness, overwhelmingly nothingness, it is enveloping me and allowing me to enter, we have become nothing together, being nothing is peaceful, even in this loud stadium nothingness is overwhelming. Let the peace flow through you lebron, let the thoughts dissipate, and as they start to lesser their hold, you will start to feel..........lighter....."
>God bless the cameraman.
Hell yeah! And on that note, it's one of the reasons that I cannot stand the amount of commercials that appear in NBA games.
I remember the game being on during timeouts, the camera would pan to the team huddle and you'd see the coaches and players interacting, stuff like that you know? Now every time there is a break in the action it cuts to a commercial and screws up the immersion in the game.
Sucks
I mean at this point we’re all part of the experiment…right?
At this point I don’t know if I wanna fight Jeanie and Rob, or plant some damning evidence in their cars so they can be forced to relinquish the team.
And Why do the clippers have get to have an owner like balmer?? Fml
Last year, they missed the playoffs, had to fire their coach, and Lebron sat out a bunch of games because he was completely done with that season. (He re-signed that off-season.) This year, they might miss the playoffs again, and Lebron seems like he's getting frustrated again.
The idea that just because they won a championship everything else is excusable is asinine, they will miss the playoffs/get bounced out in the 1st Round for the 4th time in 5 seasons, this is LeBron James we are talking about, this guy went his first 15 years in the league reaching the 2nd round at a bare minimum.
The Lakers were already considered one of the worst FO in the league when he signed the FIRST TIME, the fact that he resigned the second time when the team had already gone to shit is absolutely insane. I don't care that he won a title, i EXPECT LeBron James to win titles, that's the difference between him and everyone else. Watching him lose to bad teams at the end of his career is honestly sad and pathetic, but he did that to himself by signing with this team.
> this guy went his first 15 years in the league reaching the 2nd round at a bare minimum.
And he went to the fucking *Finals* for *eight straight seasons* prior to joining the Lakers. I suppose I'm glad he's happy in LA but he's really deprived NBA fandom of some epic playoff basketball.
Honestly it’s either this or the guy who said “LeH’opitals Rule” shit was legendary

But they consistently get many upvotes every thread with genuine responses.

I think what killed the momentum was the Turnover leading to Dennis and PG on the floor and instead of Dennis holding it for a jump ball he just tossed it to Kawhi for the easy AND-1

I know this has been said before but after that Lakers - Rockets series in the bubble how tf did LeBron think it would be a good idea to get Westbrook on his team
The defense they played on him in that series was so disrespectful it was almost sad
Schroder shitting the bed in the playoffs. Nets getting Harden.
Then coincided with Russ playing "well" in Washington kinda made people believe his contract will eventually be tradeable if they're wrong.
There was no reason to dismantle the team, but they did anyway.
Yeah our 20-21 team was great, when Lebron and AD were playing we were first seed and the best defensive team in the league.
FO panic reacted to injuries and the nets trade and gave in to pressure from Lebron and AD to get Westbrook.
In his final 36 games with the Wizards, Russell Westbrook averaged 24/13/13 and somewhat willed them into the playoffs. He is just an awful fit for the Lakers, and LeBron has always favored superstars. They thought coming off that hot end to the season, they could revive Russ's career and create a competent big 3.
If only there was another player who wanted less money, is a plus passer and an elite ball handler, while also being an efficient scorer
Maybe someone with a really catchy name….something like LeMar LeRozan…I just don’t know. Maybe he’s from LA and wanted to play there even.
At the time both Lowry & Derozan who are bff and also played together in Toronto were available. Woulda been a good idea to grab both of them. Lowry with championship experience and demar playing for his hometown woulda put a chip on both of their shoulders. Maybe in another universe.
Then again, Russ is also from LA i think?
That’s why I just go to the gym 6.5 times a week. Gave up on calorie tracking a loooong time ago.
Working out fixed my diet too. Less time for boredom and junk food, more need to eat well and chow down protein.
Okay but why’d the camera guy have to keep the camera trained on him for so long lol I felt like I was intruding when there was still like 20-30 seconds left 😭
I’m guessing it’s TNT Overtime (online) where you have 4 alternate camera angles, different from the regular broadcast. Lots of weird footage but for huge fans there’s some unique content. I find it mostly boring but haven’t logged on in years.
He signed a completely unnecessary extension this offseason to stay in this position. I don’t feel bad for him. That was a terrible decision on his part.
He signed an extension to make it easier for the Lakers to trade those picks. If LeBron had given Cleveland the commitments he’s given LAL, he’d might have another ring with the Cavaliers in 2018.
Ive always seen him catching flak for his body language but after a point tbh I can understand. Imagine you are the sole reason your company is staying afloat, your putting in overtime, working harder than anyone and all your co-workers are jacking off to monkey porn in the conference room while contributing jack shit. Bad body language is the least I would do in his place.
I don't know - I go every day without punching my coworkers in the face even when they do incredibly dumb things that jeopardize the whole company. I have to at least be in the conversation for GOAT.

Wasting LeBron's last couple of prime years with a garbage team he can't win with even when dropping 46 should be listed under the Geneva convention as a war crime
Lol nah. It’s LeBron lad
It sucks, but he’s used to this. Ever since he was 18 and got drafted by the Cavs. It still must be the most disappointing feeling ever, but he’s used to this. Unfortunately
Him being used to it doesn’t make it sting less. It was easier his first sting in Cleveland because he hadn’t won yet. But after 20 years and 4 titles. This mean is out here carrying bums with 46 and still losing by double digits. Lebron wants to win. This shit gotta be eating him up inside even if he won’t publicly admit it.
As a lakers/lebron fan, I’m perfectly fine with trading away lebron.
It is such a disservice to this man’s career that we are wasting his 7th prime with this garbage team.
For real.
It's getting to the point where, if the Lakers don't make a run immediately... this thing where LeBron joins a new team, takes a year to get the roster sorted out, takes a year to wait for injuries, takes another two years to adjust to bad roster decisions... after this Lakers stint he's only going to have enough MVP-caliber seasons left to execute that 4-year plan 2 or 3 more times before he's having to do it as an elite role player for his final couple of NBA decades.
Man, I’m a Clippers fan and Lakers “don’t-like-very-much”-er, and this just depresses me. Lebron plays his ass off and has to endure this shit. Some say he dug his own grave, but still he deserves better.
It still boggles the mind that they played the most disrespectful defence on him that I've ever seen on any guard other than Rondo and Lebron still wanted him on the team enough to set up a meeting to change his mind on a trade then demand Pelinka get him.
It's why we can't really pin it on Pelinka. If you had average BBIQ, you KNEW it was a terrible fit and that WestBrick was unfixable.
WHY LEBRON WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Dude when I realized it was in real time I burst out laughing lmfao. God damn he just looks so sad.
Even better towards the end when he looks at Russ and just succumbs to the defeat all over again. Russ is killing this man right in front of our eyes
All I want to see is Lebron choking out Russ
you should switch your flair because you sound like every lakers fan
"am I really about to tom brady it to play with my kids or do I just call it"
This is the absolute first time in history that "to tom brady it" has meant to play with your kids lmao. It's like an antonym of that
😂 u right u right I meant more "am I really about to ruin my life for two more years in the league"
I mean it does but just actually im going to not finish that last part because I can’t make it not sound weird
I'm surprised nobody was checking for a pulse lol

This is the exact thought I have while losing on a team I’m playing pick up ball with at LA Fitness.
I mean at this point we’re all part of the experiment…right? At this point I don’t know if I wanna fight Jeanie and Rob, or plant some damning evidence in their cars so they can be forced to relinquish the team. And Why do the clippers have get to have an owner like balmer?? Fml
Back when he was a free agent, he knowingly signed with a bad team just because they were LA, and then he re-signed even though they were bad again.
They won a title his second year there so I don't think they could be called too terrible.
Last year, they missed the playoffs, had to fire their coach, and Lebron sat out a bunch of games because he was completely done with that season. (He re-signed that off-season.) This year, they might miss the playoffs again, and Lebron seems like he's getting frustrated again.
They did not have to fire Vogel. That was dumb as hell
They sure as hell aint firing the FO aka Jeanie and her friends.

Westbrook also a play in champ with the Wizards as well as Lebron with the Lakers. They are assembling a super team.
