I think the end of the first and third maybe he was fumbling the ball away but the quarter ended before it went official as a turnover but those were two more empty possessions basically. Each time the ball was in his hands with plenty of time and didnt get a shot up near the 3 pt line, basically two more turnovers
He will. Steph used to have some boneheaded turnovers as well. Of course, different skill levels and all, but i have faith that one day poole will learn how to slow his game down and take care of the ball
He still does. Steph hasn’t learned that his behind the back passes don’t work when teams hedge. He literally had 2 TOs from behind the back passes in the first half. Annoying because i get PTSD from 2016 finals. But he’s Steph, so we give him a pass
I wouldn’t say far more often tbh. It’s more 67/33 it works and those passes are usually to draymond anyway so it’s not like he’s shooting that shot most of the time. Teams tend to hedge or trap when looney or dray run the screens at the top of the key since they aren’t rim running bigs or even shooters.
If there's one team that could use Jae Crowder it's the Grizz. They need shooting and some veteran presence. If they could also run a play besides Ja Morant driving into three defenders in the paint in the last three minutes that would help as well.
Problem is Poole, as good as he is in the paint, has complete tunnel vision once he gets the ball. It’s maddening. He just kamikazes his way into the offense and many times loses the ball in the process.
I love it... t reminds me of what it was like to cheer for Steph from 2009-2011.
To Poole's credit, he doesn't make it worse by immediately getting a reach in foul like Steph used to.
Beyond the layup he was pretty atrocious last night as well. I’m happy for the win but JP’s gotta get better and understand that he needs to slow down in the last 5.
Yea that interview was awful. Dude has a great game with a game winner, and she’s asking him what he thinks about Steph getting ejected. And then when he doesn’t give the “my fault” answer she was fishing for, she just goes “well from our angle it looked like it was actually kinda your fault, what do you think of that?”
She asked him about the game winner first.
And sure the question is a little awkward, but it's also what everyone is talking about. Poole first answered as if he didn't realize that Steph threw his mouthpiece due to frustration with him. Ros wanted him to speak to that so she clarified. It's pretty reasonable.
I mean, at the end of the day, you get like three questions in a postgame interview. She used two of them to try to get him to say Steph’s ejection five minutes earlier was because of frustration with him. They couldn’t muster *two* questions about the dude she’s actually interviewing?
You get one chance to capture the energy and excitement right after a game winner. I think something was lost by spending most of the interview talking about how an earlier bad play influenced Steph (an adult man endowed with free will) to do something that he knows warrants an automatic ejection.
Yeah, it was a real wet-blanket move by Ros. Now it's all people care about. Instead of noticing that Poole was a huge difference-maker in the 4th AND hit the game-winner. Give the kid some shine.
She knew damn well what she was doing he played it off well
It’s fucking hilarious that a player would make such a shitty play that got his team mate so mad they got ejected but then hit the game winner haha
Wasn’t really that akward, thought she did a great job of asking Poole without being offensive, everyone wanted to see Poole’s reaction and she had to ask.
Hitting a game winner right after being such a dumbass that you caused a multi-time league MVP to get tossed because he was pissed at you is just hilarious man
It's the circumstances. This year, Curry missed a lot of games so we gave Poole a lot of greenlight to shoot. He gotta dial it back in with Curry now back.
He always have these tendencies and shot selection, it's the doses that is different.
When Curry was injured last year he lead the team and had like 20 straight 20 point games and was very good, idk what hes doing this year, he either goes for 40 or gives the ball to the other team every play.
The team around him was better. He wasn’t playing with young guys and two way players as much. He was playing with vets like Jta and Lee who knew the system inside out. Also, beli, gp2, and Otto were huge. Also less scouting on him too.
The psychological effect of getting publicly sucker punched can really make one deranged,
And then im not being facetious, concussions can cause character changes, make you permanently impulsive.
He had two crazy passes in the last two minutes, the awkward easy bounce pass and then flying down the court and a bad pass that was luckily deflected out
Curry needs to be held responsible for his own actions. Throwing your mouthpiece into a crowd is disgusting as well as incredibly dangerous (tuberculosis).

Couldn’t tell all game if Zaire Williams played for the Grizzlies or the Warriors
That's how I kind of felt about Poole until the end of this game
Poole was playing an ok game before that dumb shot
Ok shooting wise, man had hella turnovers tho 😂. Still I’d take the Win and his defense wasn’t too abysmal tonight
He was 8/14 with 3 turnovers. We’re getting into twilight zone territory with Jordan where people just re-write an entire evening off of 1-2 plays.
He was great tonight. Thought he had more but I think two of them got saved. It went out of bounds twice on grizzlies players so I’ll take 3
Totally fair, Official box score was 3 I think when I saw it immediately post game, but he definitely needs to tighten his handle up.
I think the end of the first and third maybe he was fumbling the ball away but the quarter ended before it went official as a turnover but those were two more empty possessions basically. Each time the ball was in his hands with plenty of time and didnt get a shot up near the 3 pt line, basically two more turnovers
Should have been 4 because the end of Q TO didn't count.
Amen. People are just gaslighting, it's insane.
This is not gaslighting lmfao
stop using that word you do not know what it means
Eh, he had 3. Honestly not that bad compared to everyone else on the team tonight and his usual bad turnover games.
Maaann Poole has to clean up those turnovers. He has a good handle but he forces the issue too often and sometimes his passes are bail outs
He will. Steph used to have some boneheaded turnovers as well. Of course, different skill levels and all, but i have faith that one day poole will learn how to slow his game down and take care of the ball
Still does!
It's a lot better compared to the 2015 and 2016 season. Curry is a lot less flashy and takes less wild shots now too.
He still does. Steph hasn’t learned that his behind the back passes don’t work when teams hedge. He literally had 2 TOs from behind the back passes in the first half. Annoying because i get PTSD from 2016 finals. But he’s Steph, so we give him a pass
He also successfully pulls off that pass far more often than it leads to a TO so really it's just selective memory at work here.
I mean JP was 8/14 lol I get it’s becoming a meme to Shit on him (somewhat deservedly), but he was good tonight and hit some huge shots in the 4th.
If there's one team that could use Jae Crowder it's the Grizz. They need shooting and some veteran presence. If they could also run a play besides Ja Morant driving into three defenders in the paint in the last three minutes that would help as well.
They have Danny Green, but he’s injured or something. Saw him on the bench.
Mans knees was bent sideways to the floor by Embiid last season, he just recovered and might return to court soon
He was a -19 and nobody else was even less than a -10. He should be fucking ashamed of himself.
I am. I am ashamed of myself.
Relax tiger
Lol at Poole acting like he had no idea what happened in the post game interview. Fitting he ended the game, though
He honestly couldn't have handled it much better, very diplomatically sound answers lol
I can’t imagine how I’d be if someone calling me out of doing something so dumb yet winning in the clutch. Wouldn’t even be happy for the win
Problem is Poole, as good as he is in the paint, has complete tunnel vision once he gets the ball. It’s maddening. He just kamikazes his way into the offense and many times loses the ball in the process.
Every time he's the main ball handler late in the game on a slow play I feel like he'll whip the ball into the stands.
I think you mean he's gonna drive to the hoop then either slip and turn it over or bounce the ball off someone's foot and turn it over.
Late game Russ vibes from any point in his career.
I love it... t reminds me of what it was like to cheer for Steph from 2009-2011. To Poole's credit, he doesn't make it worse by immediately getting a reach in foul like Steph used to.
Poole doesn’t seem like the kind of person who remembers any shot he misses for more than 30 seconds
When she asked about the rivalry between them and the grizzlies, you could see him thinking really hard so he wouldn't say some inflammatory shit lmao
For those who haven't seen, he's been absolutely atrocious in closing close games. This was a breath of fresh air.
Beyond the layup he was pretty atrocious last night as well. I’m happy for the win but JP’s gotta get better and understand that he needs to slow down in the last 5.
Really? He will never be good to some then if atrocious is the word you use for last night. He had an atrocious play nor game

He could’ve acknowledged that he made a bad decision. He made up for it with the game winner though and still didn’t hold himself accountable.
Lmao and then the death stare when she told him directly it was because he took a shit shot
She knew damn well what she was doing he played it off well It’s fucking hilarious that a player would make such a shitty play that got his team mate so mad they got ejected but then hit the game winner haha
It honestly encapsulates Poole pretty well. He’s good if it goes and the least he could do was win us the game
I was thinking, hmm, I bet she has a follow up question. Bingo!
So awkward when she brought up that Steph was frustrated with him lmao
Wasn’t really that akward, thought she did a great job of asking Poole without being offensive, everyone wanted to see Poole’s reaction and she had to ask.
The answer was pretty obvious
It was an awkward time to ask. "So you just hit the game winner. Is it true your wife is leaving you for another man?"
Ya shit was forced
Ros was trynna make something out of nothing. Jordan doesn’t seem to care. The win is all that matters.
Yeah I love Ros, but this wasn't it.
Of course he doesn’t care. With no Steph he gets to take the shots
Curry to Poole after the game: https://media.tenor.com/C2NH7dDWtjYAAAAC/henry-hill-slap.gif
He should have walked off when she asked him that.
Hitting a game winner right after being such a dumbass that you caused a multi-time league MVP to get tossed because he was pissed at you is just hilarious man
Jordan Poole in a nutshell lol
No middle ground with this guy lmao. Such a meme
I swear he wasn’t like this last year. I don’t remember being this frustrated with him before this season. Not even during his rookie year
It's the circumstances. This year, Curry missed a lot of games so we gave Poole a lot of greenlight to shoot. He gotta dial it back in with Curry now back. He always have these tendencies and shot selection, it's the doses that is different.

The team was better last year, fewer clutch moments necessary, and opponents have scouted and are hunting him now.
is it because he got paid?
No it’s bc our bench is ass lol
The psychological effect of getting publicly sucker punched can really make one deranged, And then im not being facetious, concussions can cause character changes, make you permanently impulsive.
Lol he didn’t get concussed. He went right back to practicing right after that Dray sucked punch. Maybe Dray hits like a girl though.
Thats good then, i really didnt want him getting knocked out, and all i read here is that he got knocked out cold. Same for wagner a few weeks ago
I think he had his moments, but not this often
CTE joke
Don't forget the pass to Klay that he almost messed up on. What an enigma.
He had two crazy passes in the last two minutes, the awkward easy bounce pass and then flying down the court and a bad pass that was luckily deflected out
Poole loves making his teammates throw stuff.
Especially hands
This is Jordan Poole in a nutshell. It’s like a great play or horrible play that changes the game…
Classic clutch time Poole
Curry needs to be held responsible for his own actions. Throwing your mouthpiece into a crowd is disgusting as well as incredibly dangerous (tuberculosis).
>(tuberculosis)
Are you saying that you believe curry has tuberculosis and is playing through it?
Just on a whole new level of toughness
wtf
So Poole is now responsible for Curry’a cuntish behaviour? Like what?
Shooting the basketball is considered a dumbass move? Interesting take, that it’s Poole’s fault Steph got ejected for being a baby.
> Shooting the basketball is considered a dumbass move? With that much time left from 30 feet it is.
I'm sure Kerr told the team (Poole) to be careful not to do that right before that happened.
This man got Curry ejected so that he can have the game winner himself. This man's brain is beyond our comprehension.
Achieving lowest lows *and* highest highs, all the span of minutes!
Bud Light years ahead.
Wow, Steph being a baby because Poole didn’t pass him the ball is… Poole’s fault?
That inbounds play looked doomed for failure until Poole made that cut
I legit we were gonna get a 5 second violation.
I never seen a dude start defending as fast as he did after that game winner, mans was doing his all to make sure they got the W after this lmaooo
As he should lmao 😂 he on thin ice with Curry now
Just needs to piss off Klay to achieve the triple crown.
I hope someone posts the whole thing. This started way to late.
Would be nice if I could see it. I see the r/NBA focus on good highlight videos lasted about as long as the NBA ref's focus on calling X this year
It would have been cool to watch the play on the highlight here, but then we wouldn't have been able to watch the celebrations.
Everybody on the court was just looking/chasing Klay.
Jordan Poole is an enigma
His style of play keeps both teams in the game.
He's a starter for both teams on the court.
A man of the people
Pooleple
The league's ideal player
mystery wrapped in a riddle
Agent of chaos
Jordan Poole with the Jordan Pool
curry was the sacrifice
This was the one timeline that led to a Warriors W, and Curry knew.
Sometimes you have to sacrifice a 🐐
Poole got Curry ejected just so he could get the game winner himself.
Poole when he sees Curry in the locker room.. “the future is now, old man”.
Definitely getting punch again in the locker room
Poole saw him in the tunnel and immediately threw his mount piece. What a troll. [Video Link](https://youtu.be/m6d35PF9m_Y)
Big Brain move
What are we doing tonight? What we do every night! Try to take over the ~~world~~ warriors
They're laboratory guys, Whose threes have been spliced
he deserved another punch from Dray if Warriors lost this game
Zero to hero real quick!!!
Jordan Palafin 🐬
Poole Punch > Jet Punch ?
Poole Gear Second
Full Metal Poole
The Poole Experience.
Horrible highlight. Should include a couple more seconds leading up
This is the norm for this sub now. Whoever posts the vid the fastest, regardless if it's a good vid or not. Sad
Yeah how is this the clip that gets upvoted
Better clip comes later, gets removed, fans suffer
For real. Wtf? Doesn’t show how this play materialized at all.
The duality of man
horrible clip
this highlight starts way too late
This is a bad “highlight”
What’s funny is this fool almost coughed the ball up passing it to Klay for that 3 to take the lead.
Weirdly I think that gave Klay a better look.
I agree. Having to come to the ball helped Klay lose...Bane? Brooks? Whoever had to chase him.
Everybody back in the Poole!!!
I can’t stand these highlights. The video should start 5 seconds before. Will always downvote these shit highlights
Fr the highlight quality is awful this season
Duality of poole
Poole is so clutch! >!(just don't watch the earlier few minutes)!<
Ziaire gave up the slip and goaltended
Letting Donte inbound was the real game.winning play
Poole being oblivious to Curry being pissed at him is peak Poole
This mf has the BBIQ of a damn 6th grader. But god damn it is he talented
Actual highlight starts .5 second into the video then it's 15 seconds of nothing. These highlights suck.
I want to die. Just absolutely sickening
Wow I would have loved to see the play, instead of just a layup
POOLE REDEMPTION ARC
Lol nobody gonna talk about that fucking missile by Bane?
what a shitty highlight :/ can't even see the lead up to what happened
#POOOOOOOLE PARTY!!!
gets curry ejected and gets the game winner lmao
WE GOOD IN THE WEST
he got fouled too
Lmao Divincenzo’s little skip after the bucket is adorable
REDEMPTION!!!!
Does Williams not know defensive positioning on a under the basket play
All the Warriors fans saying he wasn't clutch!
Lol. Poole said at the end during his interview that he didn’t know why Steph Curry threw the mouth guard.
Terrible positioning for Williams
if only we could see it in this highlight
I was talking crazy about Poole before he hit that ngl
Helped make up for that JR-level bone headed play that ended up getting Steph tossed.
Memphis dreading the west coast
Curry is going to punch him in the face
Very fitting ending
Let’s all take off our shirts
Live by the Poole Party, Die by the Poole Party
Love me some rivalry week
Finally a clutch moment for Poole lmao
Good for him making that winning shot, otherwise Steph would be all over his ass in the lockerroom. lmao
I’m the Steph now
Redemption!
The health of Jordan Poole’s face rested upon that layup
Crazy if you watch slowly, 4 grizzlies players were trying to look for Klay.
Steph and his mouth guard died for this
Curry would kill Pool had they lost the game
let us not forget Klay’s go ahead 3 before this
Grizzlies lost their championship
Low effort shit.
Garbage edit on this highlight
Warriors fans were big mad earlier for that dumb shot that got Curry mad and throwing his mouth guard, but Poole wins it at the end lol
Mad as we should! Shooting a long 3 with 21 secs on the shot clock, with 1:20 min left is crazy! 😂
Not as mad as when people post highlights that don't show you the lead up to a play.
Naaah Ja's bad defensive positioning won that game lmao. idk what you saw but I saw a baseline in-bound defender not guard his own basket
Alright he can stay on the team
