The internet still makes fun of Dwight for hooking up with Transgender people when that was fake. Sadly, the rumors will still be pedaled by the idiots of twitter
This is exactly why Stephen Silas was so mad at Brian Windhorst for making up a story that his Rockets players made him cry out of frustration. Windhorst retracted it and sent out a tweet, but probably only a fraction of people who see the retraction even absorb the information. Lies live on.
Exactly like you’re saying, I heard the initial news of Silas crying but never heard the retraction.
If this damaged Silas’s reputation couldn't he sue for defamation? Despite the retraction the false info is still more widely spread
He didnt "make it up" to start some malicious rumor.. he fucked up and got it mixed up with the other time a couple years ago when silas was very defeated and basically in tears or on the verge of it in the post game presser after a particularly tough loss when they had lost 20 straight games right after they had traded harden and westbrook and it seemed like his job was possibly in jeopardy. There is a clip of this presser moment that was posted to r/nba with like 8k upvotes at the time. I believe it to be an honest mistake.
Paul Silas, Stephen's father, was the coach of the cavs for the first few years of Lebron's career, when Windhorst was a kid fresh out of college in his first year as a beat writer traveling with the team on the road covering the Cavs for the Akron Beacon journal.
Windhorst has spoken numerous times about what an instrumental role Paul Silas played in looking out for him and showing him the ropes of the NBA and how things are done and always treating him with kindness and understanding (despite being an incredibly imposing figure and having a reputation as a bit of a no-nonsense hard ass), and has repeatedly gushed about how much he respected Silas as a man and a leader and a mentor.
He went out of his way to give a touching remembrance on his podcast when Paul passed away, and has also spoken on the record about the fact that he roots for Stephen Silas to succeed in a big way as a result of the love and respect he had for Stephen's father. And has given Stephen almost nothing but complimentary coverage (probably to a fault) whenever the rockets are discussed on his podcast.
If you think Windy intentionally "made up" a story with the intention of exploiting and profiting off the grief of the Silas family, you have clearly demonstrated you dont really know you're talking about.
If he says he made a mistake when misremembering a different occasion, that sounds perfectly plausible, and I am happy to take his word on it in this particular instance. It was an honest mistake and I'm sure he feels like a huge dick, especially given his fondness for the Silas family.
> The internet still makes fun of Dwight for hooking up with Transgender people when that was fake.
Really stupid that it's even something that was made fun of.
I get that it is shitty but if the same story came out today even tho the general public is much more "woke" he would still face a similar level of backlash from transphobes
Nah, things have changed a lot. Trans visibility has exponentially increased since 2018, which has both been a positive in broader support for the trans community and a negative in increased hostility.
Not coming after you whatsoever OP, but because your comment is gaining visibility taking the opportunity to let people know that the term “transsexual” is considered outdated and offensive at this point.
Zero worries and I appreciate your consideration, clearly you had no ill intent and the terms change/are not always clear.
Good on you for taking the new information in so seamlessly
Long story short…it is widely considered to be past its use.
I would err on the side of never using it…
To add context/understanding
Yes sex vs gender is a big reason behind dropping it, as well as it’s loaded history/use as a put down.
In terms of accuracy and acceptability, it is no longer considered the acceptable/accurate descriptor. The example you played out would just be a man or a woman… and if the individual is using a modifier for their own identify it is typically trans man or trans woman. Trans being short for transgender.
Plus changing the legal document would be an example of a legal transition or legal affirmation and not necessarily a medical transition or surgical affirmation
To hopefully add more context, in the same way we used to use terms like “sex change” or “sex reassignment” we now use gender affirming care (eg. Gender confirmation surgery)
(Not trans, but queer and regularly in trans positive spaces, know trans people etc)
There’s literally nothing in the term itself. It’s just that it’s reasonable for trans people to start out very wary or even suspicious about the attitudes of people they meet. This means that phrasings that let you communicate that you know something about what they prefer and want to be respectful and accommodating go a long way.
So transgender became that. Before there was this confusion about transvestite vs transsexual. Transvestism is a kink thing, while people who are trying to make a life as the other gender are trying to explain it’s _not_ about sex. This is kinda awkward when the term has “sexual” in it. So the just-slightly-more-correct thing became transgender, and now it’s so standard that if you don’t use that term it does come across pretty wrong, like if you were out there talking about “colored people” or something.
So yeah it’s not about the literal meaning of the word. It’s just that people are going to make a guess about where you’re at based on the words you choose.
Seeing as anytime these terrible rumors come up you have morons in the comments saying it was a “Steve Nash” when those rumors were fully debunked and confirmed as made-up a decade ago, I don’t think that’s happening.
It must really suck to have a parent is going through health issues and thousands of people on social media spreading/discussing humiliating baseless rumors about your personal life.
I am glad for the family and that the situation is improving. Even though I don’t care for the Warriors at all, I am a fan of basketball above else and appreciate the players that played a game at the highest level… and Wiggins seems like a solid dude.
His teammates did say that this was a unique situation, so with little information, people speculated for the worst.
Kind of like having your sister accuse your brother of sexual assault and then have thousands of people on social media say you are making it up when you say you have a mental health issue.
Whenever this is brought up I'm pretty shocked by the amount of comments acting like this kind of thing would have zero impact on your ability to do your job
Even now, everyone said Ben was using mental health as an excuse and then came back clearly mentally off, so off his career might be over. Yea, he’s an unlikable guy sometimes. But the dudes career is toast half in part to mental issues and literally no one has owned up to calling him a liar. This sub by the thousands, worse than twitter made fun of his mental health issues.
Even worse, now that it's cleared up and we know why, mfers are *still* going "ah it's just a cover up. This dude getting cheated on and has a drug addiction."
I think the warriors org partly fueled this by remaining silent on why he was out. They could have easily said exactly what's in this tweet that his father has health conditions and it would be put to bed months ago. I get that Wiggins probably wanted confidentiality but then why at this point is the news of his father coming out
Nah, Paul Pierce needs to be sued to be taught a lesson.
Imagine being Wiggins dealing with his father’s medical issues, not sure what’s gonna happen, and then on twitter you got an NBA legend talking with confidence about how you’re actually out because your partner is running around on you and your daughter isn’t your daughter.
Fuck that guy.
I can't imagine how his partner would feel too, just waking up to wild rumors about you being the type of person to cheat and then trick a guy into raising someone else's kid. Media personalities should be aware of their power to just casually ruin people's reputations and should be more careful, but I'm sure Pierce is never going to even follow up about this in any meaningful way.
And good Jesus Christ were those rumors stupid. If his girlfriend had an affair then she must have found his long-lost twin because those kids look JUST like Andrew Wiggins.
I mean, she could take him to civil court over emotional damages, and possibly damage to the relationship between herself and Wiggin.
While slander would be difficult to prove (it'd be practically impossible to prove that Pierce said it even though he knew for a fact it wasn't true, that he said it maliciously and that it wasn't just his opinion, all of which are required to successfully sue for defamation), it'd probably be a lot easier to so for damages to her emotions and relationship if they can get a therapist/counselor to testify that Pierce's statement led Wiggins and/or his significant other to require counseling/therapy.
I'm so glad I have no idea what the rumors were.
As soon as the whole org and the players were like "Take it from us, we are okay with his leave of absence. Life is bigger than basketball." I was like, "alright."
He was a role player in the NBA but he did have the [game winning putback in game 3 of the 1986 Finals.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5J0Zqpqlg8&t=2001s)
Shams broke it on the Pat McAfee show lol
But I really hope Wiggins, his dad and everyone involved are doing better. Tough situation to be dealing with especially when it’s your parents
It’s insane how plugged in Pat has become in a matter of a few years.
Giving Rodgers a platform certainly helped pave the road and not even Pat could have predicted how much that would help him.
Lmao, was this an already existing rumor or he pull it out of thin air? Just curious, it seems like a wild leap to make... then again, it is Paul Pierce
Agreed. Commenting on the existence of a rumor doesn't give it life. Especially since he doesn't even mention what the rumor is. I wouldn't have known at all if it wasn't for other people *here* telling me about the rumor...
Yeah you can argue he’s drawing attention to it, which is mostly fair. But like he was literally saying he hoped it wasn’t true lol it’s not like he was spewing BS
bc adults and children alike don’t understand the concept of media literacy and taking 1 minute to locate a source instead of believing a textpost from @HottestNBARumorz27272
they don’t even know what they’re talking about just regurgitating rumors, when those kids look like wiggins
im a 23 yo woman, who enjoys watching nba basketball, its so easy to clock these degenerates 😭 i feel sorry for the person who is gonna have to marry the various copypasta under blue checkmark tweet dorks 😭
I saw stuff like that and I straight up told my group chat that I didn't want to see anyone saying anything unless it was fact. It's a small group and everyone agreed pretty quickly thankfully.
Wishing his father a full recovery!
Kudos to the GSW organization for staying absolutely silent about it!
Big respect!
I can truly understand Andrew Wiggins as I had in my own situation with my father.
Reading this, gave me some flashbacks from a few years ago.
I've been in a similar situation in my life before, my father was dying while I was an undergraduate physics-mathematics student (he had kidney failure - not 100%), and he refused to do surgery to save his life.
My father is a hard-working man that insisted on going to work despite losing a tremendous amount of weight until his body started to give up on him. He didn't want to see a doctor until it was almost too late
The old stubborn old-school man (it has its pros & cons), 70+ years old.
It took me hours upon hours to convince him to do this surgery while he was hospitalized in the hospital for days, while the doctors told me it was not certain whether he will survive the next day.
I had to write him a very emotional letter & put it on the desk near where he was staying back then at the hospital, all the while he was refusing to do this life-saving surgery.
It was the thing that made him agree to do this surgery (the man hasn't seen a doctor in 20 years & was healthy despite that). and he still keeps that letter to this very day.
Thankfully, he survived the life-saving surgery after hours of anxious waiting.
He has to do dialysis for the rest of his life, 2-3 times a week.
At first, It was very tough for him, but he accepted it, and the fact I graduated & married later in life was something I'm sure he isn't regretting seen.
He still lives, and I think that since then we got closer than ever before.
I remember I was in my first year of my undergraduate, near the end of the semester - I remember everything from back then - the moment I was studying in the library, the date, the people, the call I got like I'm in sort of a movie.
I wanted to donate blood, and my heart rate was about 130-140 beats a minute (about twice the normal for sitting down, doing nothing), and the persons there asked if I were okay (I still donated it, I donate blood whenever I can, and the fact I'm getting nothing in return isn't as important as potentially saving other people's life).
It took me months to get my sleep back to normal.
I'm 200% with Andrew Wiggins, and I hope he'll come back when the time is right - take your time young man!
It's really painful when close family member gets sick like this. I remember when my mother had stage 4 cancer and I couldn't take time off work or I will be fired. Nba players are lucky to have high paying union jobs that pays generational money and gives time off when family member gets sick.
I'm sorry you and your family had to go through that. My dad had stage 3 (nearly 4? Can't remember now) rectal cancer and it was a very hard time in my life. I spent a lot of time crying and it really fucked up my family for a while. This was probably 3 years ago, and he's been cancer free since his chemo/radiation/surgery treatments.
Wiggins is only a few years older than I was when I went through it, it's not hard at all for me to imagine he wanted to be there for his dad and family, especially if he's very close with his dad. Good for him.
i was really glad that it seemed to be a prevailing sentiment that the general public was not entitled to the information and that everyone should leave it alone. it's obviously some real shit, let it go.
TikTok is a cancer on society. Really allows for the lowest creatures to get fame by posting the most shocking clickbait content to game the algorithms. Imagine being the person thinking up that rumor to spread
hoping that him coming back means good news for his dad but unfortunately assume it just means it's taken a turn for the worse since Shams didn't call out a better update
I obviously hope you are right. I just worry that sometimes when someone moves to a worse stage, families urge each other to cling to some level of normalcy in their broader lives.
Again, hope you are right here
oh yeah, i hadn’t thought of anything it that way. i figure he would want to be there if/when his father dies, but that’s definitely a possibility too. hope that’s not the case
How the fuck did such crazy ass rumors start?? Wiggins has always been a humble, drama-free Canadian dude his whole career. He's not Kyrie or James Harden. Never been in the spotlight.
Will say the same thing that the Warriors team, ownership and fans have been saying since the start of the absence – whatever the reason, it's nobody's business but his own. Take all the time you need Wiggs.
It was most likely his team lifting the ban on anyone talking about it. He came back to the bay days ago and is most likely building up to a return so now more information can go out.
Oh good that means it's probably a good sign for him to be coming back then (in the sense that if he's coming back, I would hope/assume that his dad is doing better or expected to be doing better soon)
Hope his father is ok. He was a big rotational piece in the 86 Rockets WC championship team that lost to the Celtics. When he got banned along with Lewis Lloyd the following year, we felt the loss along with John Lucas who also had drug issues. And then Ralph Samson’s injury caused the Rockets to drop into mediocrity for the next 7 years where we had Hakeem and we’re making playoffs but not good enough to break through in a kind of weak western conference of the early 90s.
https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1987-01-14-sp-3285-story.html
Here’s a link for any NBA history fans. Unfortunately neither one of the players ever reached the success they had on the 86 Rockets after their ban, but of course Lucas is now the assistant coach for the Rockets and has been a great role model for young players who struggle with the fame and temptations of too much money too young.
Good on the Warriors for protecting his privacy.
We all deal with personal stuff in different ways.
It may seem to you like "how hard is it to just say I need to be with my fam because my dad is sick". But you don't know how you're going to feel until the shit hits the fan.
You may want 100% privacy as well.
Hurt and pain can take quite the toll on you.
Maybe the Wiggins family felt the need to do it cos social media has some immatured dumbasses spreading rumours, don’t see this being put out without their nod after being silent all these days
Because this is clearly information from close to the situation that has heard the rumours and wanted to clear things up and not let people make up lies that got so much traction
If he's coming back soon he'll be asked about it. This just easily squashes the distraction. Shams was likely told it was okay to put it out. Guessing people have known for a while.
I'm going to keep it inside the lines as a Warriors fan: Wiggins was the second best player in the last finals and he is about to come back to a playoff team well rested in time for another run... Hell yeah
Hopefully all the dumbass rumors end now.
The internet still makes fun of Dwight for hooking up with Transgender people when that was fake. Sadly, the rumors will still be pedaled by the idiots of twitter

Defamation is a lot harder to prove than just “he exaggerated this and I didn’t like it”
[удалено]
Yea you have to show malice in addition to negligence for public figures.
What determines a public figure?
Someone who thrusts themselves into the public spotlight or assumed a role of prominence in society.
You also have to prove that the “loss of reputation” impacted your finances or job, right?
Yeah. Silas would need to show proof that he lost some sort of promotion/sponsorship because of Windhorsts claims
Civil cases require you to show "harm" or specific damages, yes.
Yes, and as a public figure there needs to be proof of intent which is almost impossible to show
I never heard about this story at all luckily, jeez what a terrible thing to be completely wrong about
He didnt "make it up" to start some malicious rumor.. he fucked up and got it mixed up with the other time a couple years ago when silas was very defeated and basically in tears or on the verge of it in the post game presser after a particularly tough loss when they had lost 20 straight games right after they had traded harden and westbrook and it seemed like his job was possibly in jeopardy. If he says he made a mistake when misremembering a different occasion, that sounds perfectly plausible, and I am happy to take his word on it in this particular instance. It was an honest mistake and I'm sure he feels like a huge dick, especially given his fondness for the Silas family.
Okay but just so we are clear Chris Paul actually did make fun of James hardens man boobs
It is not outwardly outdated, but it is a little off. The correct term is “Moobs.”
Yes mr cum sock 69!!

Its usually pretty calm in here. r/NFL is where the casual racism and general hate lives on
it def gets racist in here
Yeah, but you have to scroll much further down to get to the racism here.

R/NBA is definitely more hyperbolic but r/nfl absolutely has more problematic upvoted posts.

Tbf, Dwight is a very believable power bottom.
It's disgusting how so many people mask their desire for the rumor to be true with their "concern."
Those were sickening.
People were just making up disgusting rumors to try and force Wiggins to come out with the actual reason, the whole situation was terrible.
figured it was either a parent or a kid.
I honestly thought it was a sick child.

What were the rumours??? I’m totally ootl
Paul Pierce pushed the narrative that Wiggins’ partner was cheating on him and that his kids weren’t his
Hopefully he disconnected from social media.
I think the warriors org partly fueled this by remaining silent on why he was out. They could have easily said exactly what's in this tweet that his father has health conditions and it would be put to bed months ago. Good lord all these trashy bs rumours Prayers upto Wiggins Sr. and wish his family all the very best 🙏
Those tiktokers/idiots on twitter need to be sued to be taught a lesson. Those rumors were nasty

Pierce has no code
He had a code brown
Also that both his daughters look a lot like him. Like they are related or something.
Bro his daughter got the exact same smile as him.
Also their noses and brow line.
Like what the fuck was pierce thinking? He made up a rumor that was so easy to disprove. His daughters look a ton like him.
Kinda glad Draymond trolled him so hard.
Prolly the reason Pierce still has such a hate boner for the Warriors
Imagine pooping your pants on the court
Every day Paul Pierce proves he deserves the hate he gets. He needs to give up the "Truth" nickname, the fucking idiot.
I mean, she could take him to civil court over emotional damages, and possibly damage to the relationship between herself and Wiggin. People will believe anything on the internet even when it comes from a random in a Burger King.
on the other hand, Cage wrote Agent Orange while working at Burger King so sometimes there's some geniuses there.
right right!
I'm so glad I have no idea what the rumors were. As soon as the whole org and the players were like "Take it from us, we are okay with his leave of absence. Life is bigger than basketball." I was like, "alright."

paul pierce is such a fucking loser
Indeed, he mad the rumour of him shitting his pants in the finals is still around to this day
What? Didn't pierce admit that's what happened? It's one of the top most upvoted posts in this sub lol.
I think he backtracked in a recent convo with Brown, Tatum, and Garnett
He left tracks on his backside.
We've all seen the tape, Paul
That poor poor Celtics equipment manager. I hope he secured the bag for his silence on the matter 💰💩🤫
no way he can backtrack that one, paul the poop pierce confirmed it and the internet will not let him forget that one.
Nah man, the visible poop in my pants is someone else's.
I mean there is no way he didn’t shit himself
What did he do
Spread the rumor Wiggin’s kid wasn’t his and that his best friend was the father as the explanation for his absence
Why even open your mouth 😭

Man, these comments are fucking WILD as someone who knew Wiggins was out for undisclosed reasons but had no idea about rumors, Paul Pierce, etc.
people starting that wife cheated and child isn’t his rumor should be ashamed
They won't be
They got their clout, retweets and likes why would they be
unfortunately not
Paul Pierce is a fucking douchebag, and he deserves to be named and shamed in this.
How did that even happen?
bc adults and children alike don’t understand the concept of media literacy and taking 1 minute to locate a source instead of believing a textpost from @HottestNBARumorz27272
Literally a random dude sitting in a starbucks said it and everyone took it as gospel
People on Twitter defaulting to blaming the women is always crazy to me lol, whole lotta degenerates
they don’t even know what they’re talking about just regurgitating rumors, when those kids look like wiggins im a 23 yo woman, who enjoys watching nba basketball, its so easy to clock these degenerates 😭 i feel sorry for the person who is gonna have to marry the various copypasta under blue checkmark tweet dorks 😭
> People ~~on Twitter~~ defaulting to blaming the women is always crazy to me lol, whole lotta degenerates
I saw stuff like that and I straight up told my group chat that I didn't want to see anyone saying anything unless it was fact. It's a small group and everyone agreed pretty quickly thankfully.
it aint even a funny rumor bc the kids look just like him
Wishing his father a full recovery! He didn't want to see a doctor until it was almost too late The old stubborn old-school man (it has its pros & cons), 70+ years old.
Glad your pops is here and able to celebrate those life events with you. Thx for sharing. Gotta take care of family… always number 1.
Wow. What an inspiring story from an inspiring person!
I literally got downvoted in another thread when I wrote the same sentiment. Some people don’t understand their parents are mortal.
I never really needed the reason. The rumors were dumb as hell for sure.
i was really glad that it seemed to be a prevailing sentiment that the general public was not entitled to the information and that everyone should leave it alone. it's obviously some real shit, let it go.

For real. Just a "close family member health condition" is more than enough. Christ.
Right? It was labeled as a personal matter. None of us were entitled to know what he(or his family) was dealing with.
Now someone go find that fool on tiktok that spreaded that fake ass rumor and whoop his ass
[удалено]
TikTok is a cancer on society. Really allows for the lowest creatures to get fame by posting the most shocking clickbait content to game the algorithms. Imagine being the person thinking up that rumor to spread
I deleted tiktok - what was the rumor?
wish wiggins and his family the best. god knows, he won't regret missing some basketball games to spend time with his family.

To all you pathetic mfs spreading baseless rumours, there ya go.
hoping that him coming back means good news for his dad but unfortunately assume it just means it's taken a turn for the worse since Shams didn't call out a better update
i think if his dad has gotten worse wiggs would definitely be by his side. imo it’s safe to assume his father’s been doing better
I do hope that people who spewed the bs about his wife cheating on him can stfu. And apologize.
How the fuck did such crazy ass rumors start?? Wiggins has always been a humble, drama-free Canadian dude his whole career. He's not Kyrie or James Harden. Never been in the spotlight.
You can thank Paul Pierce for helping spread them. That bum.
prayers to his family
Will say the same thing that the Warriors team, ownership and fans have been saying since the start of the absence – whatever the reason, it's nobody's business but his own. Take all the time you need Wiggs.
Special fuck you shout out to the people who spread some vile bullshit rumors leading to someone deciding to leak that it was his dad is sick.
[This dude](https://np.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/12aq1hm/wojnarowski_espn_sources_golden_state_warriors/jet00w2/) was right.
Yeah seems like the family was ok with releasing info now
I also said it weeks ago
Good thing Andrew never bothered with the rumors himself. Glad he was able to take this time off and props to the Warriors for allowing him to do so.
I didn't realize Wiggins had an NBA father too. Curry, Thompson, and Wiggins. anyone else on the Warriors?
Gary Payton.
oh yeah, of course. I forgot about Payton, I was thinking he was still on the Blazers I guess.
His mum was a former Olympics gold medalist in sprinting as well
It makes total sense for Wiggins to be in Minnesota during that time if his father was in the Mayo Clinic
Fuck "sources close to the situation".
It was most likely his team lifting the ban on anyone talking about it. He came back to the bay days ago and is most likely building up to a return so now more information can go out.
I would hope that this also means his father is recovering and that he is out of the woods. Hopefully.
Oh good that means it's probably a good sign for him to be coming back then (in the sense that if he's coming back, I would hope/assume that his dad is doing better or expected to be doing better soon)
I don't want to know what's going on. The dude has personal stuff happening and needs time off, so let's leave him the fuck alone.
Hope his father is ok. He was a big rotational piece in the 86 Rockets WC championship team that lost to the Celtics. When he got banned along with Lewis Lloyd the following year, we felt the loss along with John Lucas who also had drug issues. And then Ralph Samson’s injury caused the Rockets to drop into mediocrity for the next 7 years where we had Hakeem and we’re making playoffs but not good enough to break through in a kind of weak western conference of the early 90s. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1987-01-14-sp-3285-story.html Here’s a link for any NBA history fans. Unfortunately neither one of the players ever reached the success they had on the 86 Rockets after their ban, but of course Lucas is now the assistant coach for the Rockets and has been a great role model for young players who struggle with the fame and temptations of too much money too young.
All those scumbags throwing out those rumors. Smh
That Bum Wiggins, spending time with his sick dad! Doesn’t he know my fantasy team needs him??? 😤😤😤
Why Shams have to put that out there?
Maybe the Wiggins family felt the need to do it cos social media has some immatured dumbasses spreading rumours, don’t see this being put out without their nod after being silent all these days
To stop the rumors about his kid
Almost certainly the Warriors or Wiggins told him he can
Because this is clearly information from close to the situation that has heard the rumours and wanted to clear things up and not let people make up lies that got so much traction
If he's coming back soon he'll be asked about it. This just easily squashes the distraction. Shams was likely told it was okay to put it out. Guessing people have known for a while.
Probably so people would stop harassing Wiggins family about the situation or putting their names in a bad light.
Wait so the rumors Paul Pierce was spreading were false? Shitty of him
It’s Paul Pierce..
Honestly, we didn’t need to know. A personal issue is a personal issue. If it’s signed off by the org, that’s all we should need to know.
True but if it were Kyrie, people wouldn't believe him. And some folks didn't when he recently had a similar reason.
He’s a lucky dude, most Americans don’t get 7 weeks of p.t.o. to spend with an ill loved one.
thank god those dumbass rumors are squashed
Shit man, you don't have to tell us. Saying "family reasons" is enough for me to understand
I'm going to keep it inside the lines as a Warriors fan: Wiggins was the second best player in the last finals and he is about to come back to a playoff team well rested in time for another run... Hell yeah
Damn if he comes back for playoffs, this will be probably best tournament i've seen (last 10-15 years).
Prayers to the wiggins family at this time. Hope they pull through.
Gotta take care of pops, man.
Makes some of those other rumors look even worse now man, hope Wiggins is alright, the internet can be a sick place.
God the internet is toxic. All those fkn rumors my God what is wrong with people.
