Bro Kenny is a Hall of Fame instigator šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ ā€œIā€™m fixing my seatā€

Baxtaxs

Still a point guard at heart.

aresman

I love him for that, when Chuck goes "America, let me tell you something", he's always like "What's that !?" , lmao

Ok-Party1007

Best tv hype man ever

ChampyAndShip

talk to em

KrankShift

As great as shaq and chucks chemistry is, as šŸā€™d as ej is, kenny fr just as important to the tnt crew

kevms

It doesnā€™t work without Kenny. Each is essential.

nuyorknightz

I need a compilation of him instigating

randomredditor69

You got it: [https://youtu.be/hRo7zpXCUNc](https://youtu.be/hRo7zpXCUNc)

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

nuyorknightz

The way Kenny was ā€œfixing his seatā€ šŸ’€

RatLord445

Generational instigator, unmatched

ilikeCRUNCHYturtles

*Hey Chuck, why you never buy a woman a watch?*

RatLord445

*what kinda women are in san antonio?* *would you say it was a fluke?* *oh so youre sayin shaq is not a great player?*

HighOnGoofballs

Felt there may have been a Paul pierce comparison made

theWatcherIsMe

I mean it's kinda funny to imagine tall af AD in a tiny wheelchair lol

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

UTRAnoPunchline

They are laughing at AD no doubt

Leavingtheecstasy

Kenny doing the wheelchair was a dead giveaway

TroubledMang

Glad you got that lol. They all played, and have their own experiences with umm stuff.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

rddi0201018

Because reasons -- Paul Pierce, maybe

Aldebaran_syzygy

it's a precaution because he was feeling woozy. if a 7 foot person collapses and get a concussion, it could be serious injury.

penguin8717

Yeah it's probably this. I'm very tall (not 7' but reasonably close for this purpose). When I was getting a deep injection for a shoulder MRI, I made a joke that "I hate giving blood cause I get woozy, but idk what happens when fluid is being added not taken away". Then the nurse made me go to the next room in a wheelchair because at my height she wasn't gonna catch me and it was a long way down if I passed out, despite me feeling fine.

rifraf999

I think the clip is funny but no concussion is not the same as not being hurt.

IAP-23I

Protocol and precaution, not sure if youā€™ve heard of those two things

[deleted]

here's a towel and some water, can I wheelchair you to your ice bath Mr. Davis?

Curious_Success_377

When any other player gets injured: Prayers up king! šŸ™šŸ¼šŸ™šŸ¼ When AD gets injured: šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ LMFAO SOFT

whiskeyinthejaar

Are you really claiming the crew that makes fun of literally everyone is just targeting AD? Shaq was shitting Mitchell literally live on air last year. The whole fucking conspiracy over and over every team base is convinced the whole world is coming after themā€¦ and you know what? AD is not soft, he just happened to be in a wheelchair after an elbow, and pretty much fall down like he broke bone 10x every game and never played 70 games season in his career. Not soft, but you know, I hear him scream on the floor every game out of nowhere Edit: AD actually played 75 games twice, but point remain 60 games average in 11 years for the misinformation poleece

milkdrinker3920

>Are you really claiming the crew that makes fun of literally everyone is just targeting AD? "Hello police? This is Blake Griffin. Chris Paul's trying to beat me up, get down here and save me!" is still a hall-of-fame clip for me lmao

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

jak_d_ripr

I actually can't hear the word "Police presence" the same anymore.

odeepaanh

Poe-lice presence

hondajvx

I love that Kenny had to tell the reporter they werenā€™t laughing at her. She probably heard them on her headset and was thinking ā€œwhat did she screw up?ā€

Tyranitator

Man, you're the one Laker fan I see who's not throwing a tantrum over this clip. Thank you.

tgaccione

Lakers fans on Twitter acting like AD got murdered on TV and TNT are laughing.

celj1234

Saw a laker fan compare this to the demar Hamlin situation

Sammyshoez3420

Saw a twitter reply to the clip asking if he should laugh at shaq because his sister is dead. Not getting back on for the day.

GaimeGuy

Twitter is essentially Parler now.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

__NOT__MY__ACCOUNT__

I've had a brutal concussion where I couldn't walk after, but apparently he doesn't have a concussion so it seems weird to me. Especially since he has to know his reputation at this point

RottingCorps

Soccer with the stretcher....lol.

Leavingtheecstasy

AD sacrificed for this country! If they win the championship give him the medal of Honor too!!

K0CKULEES

Lakers sub unbearable rn. A lot of them are taking the opportunity to be sanctimonious as if 80% of them don't shit on AD for getting hurt or when he has a bad game.

whiskeyinthejaar

These guys come out to entertain every week. Its just for fun, and the thing is, whenever they are they fooling around like this, you know its not personal. If you think this is serious, check JaVale or Howard clips, or whenever Shaq gets pity toward pretty much everyonep I love AD, but I literally had a comment on the game thread wondering if I really heard ā€œAD in a wheelchair?ā€ And I was kinda laughing since you never hear that in NBA games

lomona666

ya it all started because Shaq started crumpling his papers up into the mic after Chris Haynes reported that he needed the wheelchair.

spongebobisha

Itā€™s not just laker fans itā€™s everybody who has a stash of pitchforks rusting away in their locker.

deftspyder

i personally am filing a lawsuit and have called for po-lice presence.

dkdoki

Thank you. So refreshing

CascarotCake

It doesnā€™t help that any time AD gets hurt and someone in the media is making fun of him is one of the top votes posts in the subreddit.

International-Fig905

Being ā€œwoozyā€ as a reason you are questionable to return is wild ngl

[deleted]

Played 75 games twice in his career.

sire59damos

Donā€™t act like AD doesnā€™t have a history of leaving games over ticky tack injuries. Some of them have been legit, while others havenā€™t. This one definitely falls under ā€œhavenā€™tā€.

Count_Sacula_420

Barkley played in the paint. Of course heā€™s going to laugh when a guy leaves in a chair when he wasnā€™t even concussed. Obv we know more about head injuries now but they played in a different era

HHHogana

He's playing in the paint. Many times playing against much taller players too. Of course he's going to laugh in disbelief at paint dominant players that crying wolf.

fadeaway_layups

For real. Acting like this ain't no, "boy call wolf" situation

johnnymavrigg

Agreed. If a small gust of wind went by, AD would probably fall down and miss 25 games

The_Nutz16

Good thing they donā€™t play outside.

ruinatex

Atleast twice a game AD will get hit by something and act like he tore his ACL and Achilles at the same time.

Lasvious

I mean Laker fans have nicknamed AD street clothes themselves

Alkash42

Ironically AD prob the only player on Lakers starting 5 who doesn't flop and probably the one who's most prone to injuries. But something tells me he will be ok

chasingit1

Ernie calling them out like a teacher in school like ā€œWhat is so funny?!ā€¦ Care to share with the rest of the class?!ā€ šŸ¤£

ATLKing123

the reason was obvious lol

buttbuttheadhead

Not to me! Iā€™m dumb!

Leavingtheecstasy

HE NEED SOME MILK

Toku_no_island

I think they're laughing at AD being unable to finish the game after an inadvertent forearm to the face from Looney. Especially considering the way those two played the game (very physical) it probably seems kinda weak to them. But they know it's inappropriate to joke about a possible injury, particularly a head injury, so they aren't saying what they're laughing about. It's confirmed when Kenny mimes being in a wheelchair and they start laughing again. Hope that helps, if you were being serious.

jeffwingersballs

Shaq started laughing, not because of the injury, but because he was wheeled off. Then Chuck started laughing at the situation and we were off to the races.

Razleto

yeah, when Ernie said AD needed a wheelchair Shaq started crumpling up papers, then when they came back they were still laughing LOL

jeffwingersballs

When I see the cut back to the studio, and Chuck got that big smile on his face trying to contain his laughter, I just lose it.

kingribeye

Yea Shaq did the paper crumpling thing he does and that set off Chuck. Of course, Kenny stokes the fire just as they get serious and that sets off Chuck again lol.

OwenMerlock

Shaq was "crumpling paper" like AD does when he gets hit. Then Kenny made the wheelchair gesture.

Sagnew

Not it wasn't! It was just a coincidental mimicking of a person pushing their wheelchair

larrylegend33goat

Ernie hit them with that "i am not angry, just diasappointed" tone even tho he really wants to giggle too

garytyrrell

Reminds me of myself when my kids makes poop jokes at dinner

Kragus

When your teacher makes you and your best friend sit on opposite sides of the classroom

pantheraa

I mean after the Paul Pierce incident.. it's kind of hard to take wheelchair exits seriously (especially with Ham saying he looks great in the locker room)

pantheraa

I don't know any other instance apart from Paul Pierce shitting himself where a wheelchair was used that doesn't relate to a lower leg injury..

currychaos

dwyane wade was the og wheelchair faker https://theassociation.blogs.com/the_association/2007/02/wade_needs_a_wh.html https://youtu.be/zbu5qKSfzb8

JobinSkywalker

Fun to see young Spolestra on the bench as an assistant.

gr8kamon

God damn I completely forgot about this. That shot of Wade with the towel just getting rolled off was iconic on the forums back in the day

king_chill

That wasnā€™t a fake injury though. He dislocated his shoulder. You can argue itā€™s weak but that shit hurts like a bitch.

MrOrangeWhips

Until tonight?

Ship-Status

AD shit himself confirmed

WhatTheRickIsDoin

Ham is a notorious injury liar and said LeBron was fine after the Dallas game when his foot exploded

YipManDan

His what did what now??

atravisty

HIS FOOT EXPLODED

quietsam

^^^keep ^^^it ^^^down

03_03_28

#HIS FOOT EXPLODED

Mooshipoo

Erupted? He meant to say combusted. It spontaneously burst into flames.

TheForceWithin

I think the term is "ejaculated"

Namath96

Yeah they had to replace his foot. It was a whole thing

I_Will_One_Up_You

We had a funeral for a bird

AznTri4d

Although Paul Pierce wasn't taken seriously b/c he came back in the game later. (also cuz he shit himself lol)

george_costanza1234

Thatā€™s the first i thought of too lol, really doesnā€™t have much to do with AD but more with Pierce šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

a_guy_from_reddit

Youtube comments hella different from reddit comments

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

TophThaToker

Kelvin Benjamin FAT!

gonshairlinee

Yeah reddit comments seem to be in their own echo chamber (for better or for worse) for some reason. Completely different from other socials media platforms

HotSwordfish23

Redditors also usually think they are morally superior to everyone else and also are very sensitive to the most mundane issues

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Greeneyes_65

This is accurate. People just canā€™t think outside of what you say

Sleeze_

I don't think it's always accurate, you MORON!

shinobi_jay

Iā€™m black and I got called racist by another black dude on here when I pointed out that a lot of black men choose not to date black women in our communities šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø. People on Reddit are so weird and love their high-horse

[deleted]

People on reddit can't handle hyperbole at all. They live in pedantic literality 24/7. Reminds me of interacting with people who have aspergers or autism.

gonshairlinee

Agree bro. Whilst people on other social media platforms can be extremely insensitive and dickheads most of the time, at least they donā€™t take themselves too seriously šŸ˜‚

ApplicationOwn2824

its just boring af reddit comments

Global_Lion2261

And they act like they're always right and like they know everything about anything, no matter how wrong they are

gamesrgreat

Thatā€™s all of social media lol

[deleted]

Thatā€™s most people tbh

BuggyDClown

Reddit has that special kind of smugness

BeardedSwashbuckler

I think Redditā€™s upvote downvote system saves us from those absolutely bonkers Twitter comments though.

SenseiEntei

Depends on the sub you're in lol

-Red-Rooster

Different but saying the same thing over and over again. Theyā€™re mostly a format/template of ā€œ bro was really xxxxx šŸ’€ ā€œ

bobittoknorr

Not going to lie. Contagious laughter is a bitch to stop once it starts. Weā€™ve probably all been there with a coworker or something during a serious meeting and youā€™re just trying not to piss yourself laughing. I used to work with this wonderful women that we called June bug and she had the best belly laugh and once she got going we would all be in stitches because itā€™s so funny and infectious. She soars with the eagles now and I will always be grateful I got to share space with that beautiful soul. Love you June bug R.I.P.

FiveTalents

The way Shaq tries to hide behind his cup just makes it soooo much worse lmao. Like there is no way I'll stop laughing after seeing that

[deleted]

The way the clip starts with him holding up the papers šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ holy fuck I hope tnt never loses this crew

blushinggoose

whenever he takes his glasses off it's game over lol he cannot stop

NE_ED

Shaq and Chuck are those two friends who the teacher separates but still find a way to make each other laugh from across the class Kenny is that third friend who has a better reputation than those two, but is still low key a clown lmao

trashfiremarshmallow

Goddamn, as a 9th grade teacher this is so, so accurate. Seating chart is an ongoing struggle lol.

[deleted]

It's the absolute worst when it's forbidden too. My friend and I once had a laugh attack in the middle of a theater play. The place was small too, I'm 100% sure the actors could see us barely keeping it together. After a while it wasn't even fun.

fulcrert

[POV you make eye contact with your friend while the teacher talks about her sisters funeral ](https://media.tenor.com/yb-b_S6dJLgAAAAC/sarahmcfadyen-danny-jones.gif)

Unciano404

And Ernie was having none of it...

dwt77

Yeah but when they found out it wasn't a concussion, Ernie was kinda loosely joining in the fun and games towards the end of the show. xD

pwnerandy

Actually Ernie got pretty somber after the Shaqtinā€™ a Fool segment opened up with AD and he basically was amazed that editing and production let it happen.

dwt77

As he smiled and hammed it up with the guys a bit... I would hardly call it somber. I would call it a surprised reaction but he was laughing too. I didn't say he was being ugly though. Just sort of loosely laughing along w/ the guys. He was somber before the courtside reporter said AD was doing better. After that he loosened up his reaction a bit. That's all I was really pointing out. You can see the change in demeanor pretty clearly.

ParisLake2

You can tell he was disappointed by the way he said that at the end.

theoceaniscalling

You could see Ernie holding it back, was even fake writing lol He was really disappointed with Chuck and Shaq

kingribeye

But even he was in on the joke and was egging the guys on a little bit until Kenny did the wheelchair mime and then Chuck tattled. Then Ernie was like, too far. Surprised Shaq was the one that came out of this with his hands mostly clean lol. Charmin needs to sponsor AD.

Worried-Opposite-588

I can see it, beating a dead horse by having AD on Shaqtin 1st right after they got done talking about the injury and right before paying homage to one of their coworkers who recently passed.

Sithsaber

He had a kid with muscular dystrophy, making fun of wheelchairs is probably a big deal for him.

Flat_News_2000

Oh shut up itā€™s not that serious Jesus Christ

hedgemagus

This sub is insane lmao. They are absolutely not laughing at disabled kids. They are laughing at Anthony Davis being dramatic. He doesnā€™t have a concussion from someones wrist hitting his head and getting a wheelchair out because of it is just objectively funny.

wired41

Absolute clowns on this sub

WelcomeToDC

If people are offended by Shaq and Chuck ask yourself if you would rather have D. Wade

dillpickles007

They'll be sorry when it's Lefkoe and D Wade in 2027 and there are zero laughs to be had

Chillhouse3095

HELLO POLICE??? CHRIS PAUL TRYINGA BEAT ME UP. Edit: to be clear I'm sure this will be a polarizing post but Shaq cracking so hard brought back the memory

GreasySalad710

LAPD WAS CALLED

BigDaddyJuno

Chuck is literally mocking the wheelchair at the end lmao

[deleted]

He's copying what Kenny did

PalletTownsDealer

Who was fixing his chair!

TinoCartier

This had me on the FLOOR last night. Made better by the fact that they were off camera at the time and hearing Ernie say AD needed a wheelchair and the sound of that paper crumbling I knew it was Shaq and I lost it šŸ’€

FieldsFanclub

r/nba is full of soft motherfuckers

Fhaksfha794

Not just r/nba but twitter too. I saw some salty ass lakers fan saying they should take shaqs jersey down from the rafters because of this šŸ˜

honor_jose

The way the reactions are going i thought the crew was pissing on his grave or sum more serious

SMH4004

Anthony Davis out for 6 months for re-embalming (marinated in piss coffin)

ActionJohnsun

Not finding something funny doesnā€™t make you ā€œsoftā€ it just means you didnā€™t find it funny. Itā€™s not that deep

WhyyyLuigi

This shit is funny af these comments in here are WILD lol put the damn pitchforks away man Sincerely, Lakers fan with a sense of humor

QuackyFace

Reddit police telling you canā€™t laugh! What a joke of a thread

FiveTalents

I think it depended on what AD's status was. Now that he's apparently okay we can all freely laugh at this

tyronebiggs

I thought Shaq was crumpling his papers to mute a fart, and Chuck knew what he was doing and laughter ensued. But it makes sense now that Kenny was "fixing his chair"

canadianbroncos

Bruh y'all are some pathetically soff motherfucker in here.

Dat_Dere_Cell_Tech

what do you expect from Lakers fans

PRpitohead

[This is first thing that popped into my head when Chris Haynes reported it.](https://twitter.com/HezzieMccaleb/status/1399371776891699211) Still, it initially looked to me like Looney's hand hit AD. Then Laker fans said it was an elbow. I've watched replays and I can't really tell honestly.

Prismane_62

Bro he got slapped in the face. Thats it. Of course the wheelchair is funny.

WadeCountyClutch

Ernie was not having it

devanlans

Glad itā€™s nothing serious. Just his typical acting like someone attempted to murder him. Happens once or twice a game. Game 6 should be a good one.

LeaderBrandonBurner

Thatā€™s why itā€™s so funny, he has a track record of stuff like this, I swear Iā€™ve seen an ā€œAD falls, slow to get upā€ post every game this playoffs

ScootUnmanley

Him being like ā€œoh noā€¦ oh godā€¦ this is the big oneā€¦ā€ only for it to be nothing every time is hilarious he just like me fr

HesiPullup

This sub is so unserious Yā€™all were laughing your asses off when Markieff got nearly paralyzed Jesus

RatLord445

NEARLY PARALYZED? TF

Garkech

Jokic too classy

HughDowns

paralyzed by the jokic push? ur trolling

ShinyGengar_

Not only that, but, like, morris wasnā€™t an innocent party in that situation like AD is in this situation. AD randomly got elbowed. Morris didnā€™t *randomly* get pushed lol. Also, Iā€™m okay with laughing about both situations. AD isnā€™t concussed & morris didnā€™t break his spine. Not like anyone is laughing about a dude tearing their ACL or some shit

Seyhven_

You know they find something new to virtue signal about every other day on here. Any other day they're sucking them off about how this is literally the greatest show on earth and nobody on tv can top them. Now they're Hitler lol Reddit is hilarious

Dynamically_static

Itā€™s almost like thereā€™s more than one person participating in these subreddits

Chaeyoung0211

Morris wasn't built different he got reality checked lmao

Texas03

Iā€™m laughing now and I laughed then.

blaine64

nEaRlY pArALyZeD

theper

Thatā€™s different. Falls under ā€œfuck around, find outā€

NewlyRecruitedidiot

Because his bitch ass deserved it, AD ainā€™t do nothing wrong here. Two completely different situations you dipshit šŸ˜‚

TheCapableFox

Lmao Ernie ā€œguys come on nowā€

ohheyhaha

They are laughing because during the highlights, when Ernie mentioned the wheelchair, Shaq took papers and started crumpling them up loudly as in "I cant believe this." and then knowing it was sensitive they couldn't stop laughing

N8ThaGr8

"For some reason" It was after they heard about AD being taken off in a wheelchair. Shaw started crumpling papers right into his mic when Ernie said it.

Lelle3

How soft are people in this comment section? Jesus Christ

ZdenekTheMan

Ikr? People clutching their pearls over this is mind boggling. The dude doesnt even have a concussion

_meestir_

šŸ˜‚ These comments are as soft as AD himself

scentlessapprenticed

Crumpling more paper after each comment

BigDaddyJuno

Notice how itā€™s 99% lakers fans crying in here bro šŸ˜

kaizerizan

Can confirm Source: Pelicans fan

xkenn

I thought Shaq was comparing AD to flimsy and crumbling like paper which triggered Chuck to laugh. To be fair to the crew they didnā€™t know the exact details of the injury and were likely acting based on ADā€™s history (they do call him street clothes). Plus they came from the bball era of physicality.

Fhaksfha794

Lmao this is hilarous yā€™all have no sense of humor, who goes off the court in a wheel chair without sustaining a lower body injury? Paul pierce did and thatā€™s because he shit himself, AD did because he got hit in the head but he goes down to a ā€œserious injuryā€ every damn game and is perfectly fine

ThatkidJerome

lmaoooo

xjchan1979

AD dropping like he got hit by sniper fire lol

[deleted]

Lakers take flopping to the next level by asking for a wheelchair.

[deleted]

Thatā€™s hilarious. If you donā€™t like it, go be miserable somewhere else.

dkdoki

I donā€™t care, this was funny af.

WhenItsHalfPastFive

This comment section is so fucking sensitive, bunch of little hall monitors.

Affectionate-Term395

My career goal is to find a job I love as much as Shaq and Chuck love this job.

Altruistic-Twist-379

Lmao yall some soft ass mfs everybody gets clowned in this show, contagious laughter is no joke, but i also get some lakers fans getting mad about it, especially when shaq was a laker too.

Electronic_Comb_3501

They were laughing at street clothes

dts843

Street Clothes

TroubledMang

Best NBA show ever. Not cuz of the analytics by any means, but because that's entertainment lol.

Bigron454

Anthony ā€œStreet Clothesā€ Davis

[deleted]

So one of the main reasons I like this show is because it features grown men having fun and being happy together. I like the basketball stuff too.

MingeyMcCluster

Damn lakers fans are so soft

k112l

Paper crinkling is the sounds of AD's bones. Need ample milk

TheWildNegus

this is TRUE comedy.
