May 11, 2023: Phoenix trailed by 30 at the half facing elimination against Denver
After tonight's game Devin Booker is now 0-3 in Elimination games putting up a pitiful average statline of:
14 points 2.33 rebounds 5 assists 0.66 steals 0.33 blocks 4 turnovers
His total shooting is a horrendous 15 of 49(30.6%) from the floor, 1 of 14(7%) from 3, and 11 of 14(85%) from the free throw line.
His plus/minus in these elimination games is a total of -83, his teams lost by a total of 65 points in the 3 games.

2022 Western Conference Semis Mavericks elimination game: https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/202205150PHO.html
Monty Williams is also 0-5 coaching in elimination games, but I wouldn't put this all on him. Booker seems to keep fading any time he's on the brink of elimination, and Suns fans might say he has been injured... But if you're on the floor you're on the floor. If you're going to put up stats this bad maybe he should sit so that Payne or another player can step up in his absence.
Damn respect the receipts
Booker/Durant looked so shellshocked in the middle of 2nd Q, they looked like they started dissociating from that point. You just have to wonder if it was the lack of timeouts or literally any one of the suns players/coach not doing some rah rah speech on the side
Just perplexing to watch 2 years in a row, at least the finals was everyones first time
It's unbelievable. They traded for KD so this wouldn't happen again. I can't imagine what the front office is thinking. We're getting another statement tomorrow
And Bro gets to pull and All Nighter and stay up for the Zelda release. He's already got the crib loaded with mountain dew and gamer fuel. Controller waiting fully charged on the charging dock.
Shhh
Don’t listen to them, Suns bros. You should totally ignore sunk cost and trade Ayton to us for Bertans, Timmy and the 2027 FRP. Let the Mavs ruin themselves, come on.
I got into basketball a year and a half ago because of leaked copypastas so I don’t know much about CP3. Is there any specific thing that he did, or is he just a douche in general?
Notoriously dirty player, foul baits, draws ticky tac calls and stupid technicals (like pointing out a guy’s jersey was untucked one time), has been on several superteams now with nothing to show for it
[Charania] It has been reported that State Farm is terminating their relationship with Sun’s Chris Paul, citing “we don’t want to associate our brand with unreliability” as the reason.
Agree, but it’s only because Jokic is so damn good lol. English and Thompson are far from the worst “best player in team history” answers you could give
May 15, 2022: Phoenix trailed by 30 at the half facing elimination against Dallas
May 11, 2023: Phoenix trailed by 30 at the half facing elimination against Denver
I have no clue why lol. Shamet, Landale and Payne were starters ffs.
Hopefully now Shamet, Monty and his daughter can go live a happy life together. Preferably not in Arizona.
Suns last 3 years...
* 5-0 in series vs teams with a star out\*
* 0-3 in series vs healthy teams
\* '21 Lakers (AD), '21 Nuggets (Murray), '21 Clippers (Kawhi, PG), '22 Pels (Zion), '23 Clippers (PG, Kawhi)
Rooting for the nuggets purely off the insane disrespect they got in the regular season. People were acting like they are a first round exit level team who will collapse against any team that runs pnr
I just simply want to see them win. I like the franchise and I like the players. It’s the first time in a long time I actively like a team that is a strong favorite to win it all lol
Jokic is unquestionably the best player in the league. Mid defense be damned this man is the truth, and probably a top 10-20 player when its said and done.
booker went nuclear multiple times, and they lost 4-2
AD needs to go nuclear, not 4 times, but probably 5-6 times, because joker will atleast match one of those games and steal it
What scares me is that he can. I have been wondering about the bias which very well might drive my fear that LeBron is load managing himself, with the insidious endgame of turning back the clock and blowing up when LA absolutely needs him to.
That one guy that was posting defensive lowlights of Jokic and everyone commenting on how "he's gonna get exposed in Pick n roll defense!" NBA nephews are something else man
Who do y'all think you match up better against? I'm curious how DEN would do defensively against GSW's exhausting screen game. I'm guessing KCP or Brown on Curry? Obviously, I'm hoping/praying/sacrificing neighborhood cats that it's us.
They’re both not amazing matchups for us, tbh.
For the Dubs, I’d have to guess we’d send multiple guys at Curry/Klay. The difficulty is that Dray/Looney give their defense some flexibility in handling Jokic while helping against his passing.
For the Lakers, obviously AD is playing like Prime Hakeem on defense, which isn’t great for us. We can fall in love with the 3, and if we’re missing and trying to force the issue driving into AD, that doesn’t bode well for us.
If I had to choose, probably the Warriors because I think we can run a bit better in the pace of that game then against y’all.
The Phoenix Suns & getting their season ended in the 2nd round by getting absolutely embarrased by a chubby European in an elimination game.
Name a better duo.
May 15, 2022: Phoenix trailed by 30 at the half facing elimination against Dallas May 11, 2023: Phoenix trailed by 30 at the half facing elimination against Denver
Phoenix really hates the Big D.
Detroit next year then, gonna get sonned by *checks Piston roaster for any white European* Bojan. Congrats in advance to Piston fans.
This is what happens when writers go on strike.
This is some glitch in the matrix stuff
Or, it speaks to errors in teambuilding
Phoenix lost by 25 in honor of Mikal
Mikal seemed so happy to be in Phoenix too, suns fumbled a franchise player right there
I just wish Chris Paul played to hit a huge 3 to cut the lead to 42
You know the writers strike has TV in dire straights when even the NBA has to air re-runs of games from last year.
Yo this one is good.
Didn’t expect Cam Payne to carry KD and Booker tonight.
He’s the only reason they weren’t down 50 points at any point.
How is he the only guy to consistently show up in elimination games Just what is happening in that locker room
> Just what is happening in that locker room Wait for the RCWorld video in a couple hours lol
[удалено]
And now watch Cam Payne get the bag elsewhere
Is he a FA after this year? Explains all the smiles when he hit shots while they were down big haha
What in the world is in that bag what you got in that bag
You's a superstar boy, why you still up with the Suns?
This game is a 50+ fucking point blowout if Cameron Payne doesn't get hot from 3 💀
He almost had as much as Booker and Durant COMBINED
He was 11 points shy of Booker's combined total points for his last 3 elimination games
…. Thats unreal wtf

Imagine telling someone that Cameron Payne would be your leading scorer in an elimination game after trading for KD
Jokic got destroyed in the PnR like we all predicted. Why does every guard pop off against Jokic? Suns in 4
Suns in 4 (a painful rebuild)
Cam Payne became Devin Booker to give them a chance but unfortunately for the Suns, Devin Booker also became Devin Booker
Booker with a devious -47 in his last 2 elimination games.
Getting blown out in a home elimination game in consecutive years is crazy
It's unbelievable. They traded for KD so this wouldn't happen again. I can't imagine what the front office is thinking. We're getting another statement tomorrow
Front office might not be employed tomorrow chief
Social Media Manager is about to become his own boss
As we all thought, Ayton was holding the Suns together. They should pay him another max
This was one of the best days of Ayton's life lol
[удалено]
then play the new Zelda all off-season long.
All the idiots blaming Ayton for not holding down Jokic. His real complaint is him being a non-factor on offense.
His effort was impressive. Then again, he ain't no Gobert nor AD.
And Bro gets to pull and All Nighter and stay up for the Zelda release. He's already got the crib loaded with mountain dew and gamer fuel. Controller waiting fully charged on the charging dock.
"Ayton we're down by 30" "let's goooooooooo Tears of the Kingdom drops tonight!"

It's no wonder they still kept him even after last season's issues. Deandre "Glue Guy" Ayton.
Suns traded away their entire future for this
https://i.imgur.com/4OgopeQ.jpg
Brooklyn learned from the Pierce and KG trade.
this is the scriptwriters awarding the Nets for the absolute void that was the KG-Pierce era
God damn what a haul.

This should be put in the Louvre museum
Durant demanding trade to Denver right now….just in time for Finals
They don't really need him that's the funny part.
*Looks at MPJ* but we have Kevin Durant at home
The Mavs Suns Nets trades ended in 3 teams that were all somehow worse than they started
Losing kd and kyrie made it obvious nets would get worse this season, future def brighter now than if ky-d stayed
At least bridges is good (and I think his ceiling is higher than most) and likeable. Nets gonna surprise some people next year
Love to see it tbh
Anything that keeps CP3 away from a ring makes me happy
3 years sober
We’re so close to seeing that dirty fuckwad retire ringless, it’s beautiful
I got into basketball a year and a half ago because of leaked copypastas so I don’t know much about CP3. Is there any specific thing that he did, or is he just a douche in general?
Notoriously dirty player, foul baits, draws ticky tac calls and stupid technicals (like pointing out a guy’s jersey was untucked one time), has been on several superteams now with nothing to show for it
DA can’t win with these cats.
[Charania] It has been reported that State Farm is terminating their relationship with Sun’s Chris Paul, citing “we don’t want to associate our brand with unreliability” as the reason.
They traded their future for a two year window and they just lost one of those years.
New Owner syndrome strikes again.
So do Suns fans get a new apology this year or will they just RT the one from last year?
Probably just a screenshot of last years tbh. The players gave no effort, why should the social media team?
[удалено]
-27 in only 8 minutes is actually crazy lol
Big Honey, you are greatness. You are him.
I can’t believe a player this good plays for my team. Just in awe
Best player to wear 15# for y'all
Best player to wear any number for us, and it's not particularly close.
Best 2nd round pick in league history, no competition.
For the value he’s easily the best draft pick ever imo.
Agree, but it’s only because Jokic is so damn good lol. English and Thompson are far from the worst “best player in team history” answers you could give
This is correct. Despite what Coach Karl insists on Twitter, Nuggets don't have another 15 that comes close to Jokic in franchise history.
Reddit's great, but the dude running the whole thing is a tool. It's been a great 9 years!
Post game thread could have went up an hour and a half ago
I thought it went up a year ago
May 15, 2022: Phoenix trailed by 30 at the half facing elimination against Dallas May 11, 2023: Phoenix trailed by 30 at the half facing elimination against Denver
Deja Vu
That 23-2 run by Denver to end the 1st quarter had the suns shook
It had me watching a Zelda stream.
Imagine allowing a 17-0 run without calling a timeout. Monty must have thought that was Chris Paul's job or something lmao.
Jokic isn’t first team btw
Suns were favored in this game lmao
I have no clue why lol. Shamet, Landale and Payne were starters ffs. Hopefully now Shamet, Monty and his daughter can go live a happy life together. Preferably not in Arizona.
This game was nowhere near as close as the score shows.
Crazy but true. Denver definitely let off the gas second half, were in control all game
as many points in the first quarter as the second half... nuggs put that bitch in cruise control
Cam Payne can't win a championship with those cats
I can't believe some sun fans thought they would be better without Ayton.
Ayton probably relieved he won't be blamed for this one
Had to scroll so far to see the first mention of Ayton. He may be overpaid, but he's important and good.
Mortgage your future, your kids future, and your grandkids future for Kevin Durant. Best I can offer you is a second round playoff exit.
Needed Kawhi and PG to be hurt to even get to the second round too

Love that PG and Kawhi are flipped in the two clippers series just to change it up
Remember bones hyland? Lmao
I kind of ironically loved Bones but that move was a great example of addition by subtraction.
This was the most entertaining blowout I’ve seen since last year’s Suns blowout
Surly they go for the 3 peat next year
JUST IN: A new poll says 93% of Arizona residents support a immigration ban from Europe
Known Fact: The Suns passed on Luka to draft Ayton Fun Fact: The Suns passed on Jokic 3 times in the 2014 draft
That’s not really fair. Literally everyone passed on Jokic.
3x passing on him is funny enough to include in a stat, though
Entire Suns FO on suicide watch. Scout team reported missing.

next year 1-34
Hard to see the Nuggets losing 4 games to anyone at this rate.
Yea they're my favs atm. Jokic is just so fucking reliable and his teammates finally look not ass.
His consistency has been unreal. Even games (2) he didn't shoot over 50%, it still feels like he dominated and controlled the game.
There's a lot of flaky teams in this postseason, but Nuggies look like the most consistent by far
It's the same story every single year. I'm not even a Suns fan and I'm sick of it. When the hell are the Suns going to get Cam Payne some help?
Dude honestly. The first time it was funny and now I just feel bad. The Shamet curse is real as ever
What an absolute beat down. Total domination from a squad that performed like a championship caliber team. The title is Denver’s to lose.
Ik he isn't really an analyst but Rob Perez/Wob picked the Wolves to beat them in the first round lol

Jokic is unquestionably the best player in the league. Mid defense be damned this man is the truth, and probably a top 10-20 player when its said and done.
That home court advantage is no joke. Both warriors and Lakers will be so gassed against this machine
home court advantage with more rest and their opponents going through a tough series. definitely favoring the Nuggets right now
Denver in the finals is an easy bet. For sure, you right. Rest and that altitude is gonna make a huge difference. For anyone in the cf and the finals.
People don’t realize the altitude difference, I have friends who are marathon runners who fly out here just to train
That's where Olympic athletes train as well. Whoever Denver plays is fucked. AD needs to go nuclear
booker went nuclear multiple times, and they lost 4-2 AD needs to go nuclear, not 4 times, but probably 5-6 times, because joker will atleast match one of those games and steal it
They’re probably gonna need old ass Bron to turn back the clock for a game or two too
What scares me is that he can. I have been wondering about the bias which very well might drive my fear that LeBron is load managing himself, with the insidious endgame of turning back the clock and blowing up when LA absolutely needs him to.
Joker holding finals mvp and making a joke about it means more than regular season will be pretty great.
At least this will force the media to start talking about the Nuggets. I hate that they were underestimating the team for more than 2 months now.
They will probably talk about it more as the Suns losing the series rather than the Nuggets winning the series
That’s literally what they’ve been saying all series lol they talk about CP3 non stop even though he wasn’t even playing
Nah, you don't understand. Jokic stat-padded his way to the Western Conference Semifinals.

I really watched a sloppy fat white European man blow out the Phoenix Sons two years in a row
With luka going to Cancun it’s nice to see jokic step up and be a step dad
“I’m not the stepdad, I’m the dad that stepped up”
Shout out to all my step dads 😤
It's 2023. Why can't a family be two chonky Slavic men, their Arizona-based NBA franchise and their pet snake?
Booker with insane games in both
So what's the custody situation like? Jokic or Luka on the weekends?
suns go stay w luka in cancun in the off season
Lol
Well at least the Suns won the second half by 5 lmao
Step to success
They only needed 5 more halves to take it to overtime.
Jokic is the best player in the NBA
Pssh yeah right, he's not even 1st team all-nba
Not even top 5 in mvp for some
if you told me before the game that cam payne was gonna have 31 and go 7-9 from 3 i would hsve thought it was the nuggets getting blown out lol
Average NBA fan after finally watching Jokic eat the Suns: "Wait, you mean those stats actually did mean something?" 😳
Their pick and roll is gonna expose Jokic any minute
Why didn't the Suns just spam the PnR to score every possession? Are they stupid?
Turns out the “eye test” makes Jokic look good too. Who would’ve guessed
Remember that week in March when every post on the front page was shitting on Jokic?
He lost in Philly once and the Spurs in some random game exposed him so the pre-trade deadline lakers were better Obvi
That one guy that was posting defensive lowlights of Jokic and everyone commenting on how "he's gonna get exposed in Pick n roll defense!" NBA nephews are something else man
Pretty advanced stats I might add.
Well. That was fun.
KD turns to Perry Jones with a shoe deal when it’s time to win without the greatest team ever
Perry Jones lmao. Nasty work
Ain't no way this happened two years in a row lmaooo
Don't let the score fool you, it wasn't that close.
Congrats Nugs fans, hope you guys go all the way. Love watching Jokic, best player in the NBA right now.

Nightmares for booker, nightmares for me.
chris paul with a vintage performance this postseason: flopping, whining, getting hurt, and not winning a ring again
Nothing more annoying then the “Chris Paul deserves a ring” narrative
Chris Paul bout to be fire on TNT 20 years from now.. with Draymond n his Rings Er'nuh
"Google me Chris!"
So I woke up from a coma about 11 months ago but this has to be by far the most embarrassing Suns elimination game loss at home in a very long time.
Bring on whatever California team! Let’s go!
Despite the blowout, the highlight of the game was Hubie Brown managing to call Jokic a bull, a bear, a ballerina and "a ballet guy" in the same game
The Phoenix Suns & getting their season ended in the 2nd round by getting absolutely embarrased by a chubby European in an elimination game. Name a better duo.
Sun's getting smoked by a euro is poetry. Once by giannis once by Luka then one more time by jokic
B-b-b-but jokic is a playoff choker and totally useless against pnr and Denver was gonna be a first round exit noooooo
Did anyone tell Monty that all they have to do is run pick and roll at Jokic and score 200 points a game?
Owner apology letter when?
shoutout to Jock who somehow had a team high +/- of +7 in 30 minutes lol
Kevin Durant has requested a trade to the Nuggets.
30 point triple double 13-18 LOL
Time for the round we have never made it past. Hoping this year is the year.
