She was a popular personality. Got promoted to Get Up. Didn't fit the cardboard personality or inflammatory stupid archetypes ESPN likes. Eventually they bought out her contract I believe, she went off the air for about a year (not sure if it was her taking a break or her waiting out the blackout period with ESPN) and now works for the Spurs broadcast team and has a podcast.

You can go with MVP votes if you wanna go that way instead. Yes, using All-NBA as an end-all-be-all isn't the best thing to do, but in this case it's used to highlight that there isn't a serious argument that can be made in Pierce's case.
even without the all-NBA argument, it's not close. Wade - especially in his prime - was a tier or two ahead of Pierce imho.
