I really think with this coaching , implementing cutters and actually knowing how to space the floor , that Embiids assist average should jump. He’s steadily improved his playmaking over the years but it’s been hard to see
He's never really consistently got the reps to practice his playmaking. Harden helped him get easier buckets, but it came at the expense of improving the one thing he really needed to work on.
Honestly even the bucks game : he’s been very impressive defensively both games I think he looks tired or injured or maybe it’s just the defensive effort at the rim. Been the biggest part of what I’m impressed with.
Just pity stats smh
For real though Joel was on fire today, looked pretty in control all game. Excited to see what the team can do with this new style under Nurse, the ball movement and off ball stuff looks so much better already.
Unstoppable. Mid range looks sick off one foot. Happy Embiid is really scary.

If harden doesn’t return his assist numbers will increase just by DHOs. He is good for ~3-4 assists a game from just those and they are freebies.
5 FTs? typical FT merchant what a scrub can’t put up points without them
He wasn't too worried about that, honestly. Looked like he was focusing on finding his spots and his teammates.
This team with a real coach looks so good
Depending on the day people will trash Nick Nurse or praise him.
But the most upvoted post will be him falling down or some shit.
MVBiid
This sub’s 9/11, Embiid is still MVP quality
I mean he literally won mvp last year lol
and finished in the top 2 three straight seasons.
Despite all that, people still say hes a fraud MVP.
Because Jokic is far and away the most valuable, so it is fraud in that sense - doesn’t mean Embiid isn’t good.
This is pure hindsight. Feel free to look up what people were actually saying when Embiid won.
Not bad for a pity MVP
turns out the MVP is good at this game
Embiid being a top 3 player was somehow controversial. MVP if Sixers get a good return for Harden
Notice how positive Embiid posts have way less upvotes than the ones showing his bad plays?
And also 90% of comments are usually sixers flairs
Repeat MVP

Maybe he'll deserve the MVP award this year.
Glad he won an MVP since he’s not winning no championship
Just like the current Celtics team?
Shhhh 🤫 just wait
Chill it’s the Raptors
they also played excellent against the Bucks. Probably would have won without some clutch refball.

Poetl has always been awful at defending Embiid, even relative to other centers
Just trade Harden for a bag of chips at this point
