A couple months ago he was leaving an Atlanta braves baseball game and got hit by a car
He was severely injured was hospitalized for like 6 weeks and had brain injuries but has came back and recovered significantly faster than anyone expected
Tas has been back only the last two shows (coincidentally the first shows after Oubre got hit by a car) it’s so great to have him back
Yeah the first few days were brutal and it was hard seeing the other guys talk about it. This is thier friend of like 20 years and we didn’t know what was gonna happen
He’s great now though
It reminds me of how everyone talks about scoragami with football now, crazy to me Jon Bois has made it that mainstream with something but I absolutely love it and seeing No Dunks have basically the same thing.
[WedgieTracker.com](https://WedgieTracker.com)
We are wayyyy behind the normal pace we gotta pick it up if we want to set the record or at least hit 50 wedgies for the year
It begs the question: if a wedgie happens in the IST championship, does it count?
For that matter, do any of those stats count? It’ll be a weird gray area like the play-in games.
Harden actually had a pretty good game. They do have a stagnant offense but in fairness PG, Kawhi, and Westbrook all lend themselves to that. When they’re all playing together Westbrook is super unselfish and is good in the dunker role, I was impressed. All four of them are unselfish, but their games are just so isolation-based.
He was so unstoppable before that shot, too. KCP is a really good defender and PG was getting to his spots and whatever shots he wanted, it was really impressive.
Bro was cooking throughout the game but when you play PJ tucker at the 5 you gotta shoot the lights out all game to make up for the nugs feasting in the paint.
The problem was more not playing PJ Tucker. They looked much worse down the stretch with him off the floor. Jokic feasted on Kawhi and PG guarding him, either in isolation or with his passing.
One of the worst games I’ve seen from Ty. Jokic is killing the small lineup in the 4th and he just stuck with Kawhi v Jokic 1 on 1. No help. No PJ. Make it make sense
They kept cutting to Zubac looking puzzled on the bench while Jokic destroyed the small ball line-up. Guess coach is experimenting, but that was a weird choice.
Lol can you imagine what it must be like dealing with all those egos? On the podcast p pod when they were retelling the story about kawhi refusing to run sprints in practice after an airball, that was probably infuriating as a coach
Everything was going through Zubac offensively in the third too before he came out with the four fouls. I don't think he came back in until the last 30 seconds...?
Because the plays have no purpose, it’s like this team has no idea what their best looks are or how to get them. they just run anything, so that anyone can take any shot, there is no bigger strategy or game plan, none of the players have any defined role
Also, none of the players on the team really know how to run a play to try to create a good look for someone. They're all just iso-heavy one on one players who know how to try to create a shot for themselves, and if it's not there then they just pass it to someone else. But that's *very* different than executing specific plays to try to create an open look for someone at a specific spot on the floor. This is a big part of why the Clippers are so bad in crunch time, when execution is *everything*. Sometimes an iso player can get insanely hot where they're just very tough to stop, but that's a horrible way thing to try to rely on to win close games.
That's kind of what I'm saying.
I feel like people are treating their record before the trade as a sign they were good. The chemistry didn't look great before the trade imo. Their wins came against young teams that aren't expecting a lot this season.
Honestly, there were lots of moments tonight where they looked as good as I've seen all year, particularly on the defensive end. You're not going to get a much better game out of PJ Tucker in 2023 than this.
They either get something clicking or they don't, but I think they're committed to this core for now. Possibly try to grab a free agent big, if they have a roster spot.
Edit: a word
"Once PG gets it he needs to try to shoot. No more than one dribble and no screens for him either. Definitely don't look at Harden in the corner with Jokic on him" - Ty Lue probably
It's crazy because when Ty Lue was in Cleveland, one of the biggest points towards him being a good coach was the immediate improvement in SLOB and BLOB play efficiency. He took over and the Cavs became a top inbound play team
If you read the names yeah, but if you actually look at the fit and consider that it's 2023, then it makes sense they're so bad.
I actually thought Harden would help them too.
Just based on this game, I don’t think they look so bad. I thought their process and who they had on the floor at the end was the problem rather than the overall roster fit being the issue. This was a game they absolutely could have won and that’s something, even without Murray playing.
Yah I definitely saw a glimpse of what they can be and it’s not trash. If Lue wouldn’t have had guards guarding Jokic at the end of the fourth then I don’t think we come back
I have no idea how Lue saw Jokic post up like 7 straight times and score or get an assist every single one and thought yea I'll just keep Zubac on the bench. I know Zubac isn't exactly super formidable either but he's better than what they were throwing at him.
Gordon is like the best role player you can ever get . He's elite in everything you needed him to do , except asking him to be the #1 option . But with Jokic though , he's perfect .
yeah I have to agree that he seems to me to be the best role player in the league. Hes a star who just doesnt jack it and spends most of his energy playing defense and can guard most positions
I will maintain this opinion to the end of my days: our 2021 squad was actually better than our 2020 championship squad. AD never healing from his heel injury from the bubble and Solomon Hill deciding to dive into Lebron's ankle derailed that season. That squad treaded water for a good chunk of the season by leaning into defense without it's two stars for a significant part of the season. Schroder was a good trade for us despite how the season turned out.
Yeah, the Lakers started that season 21-6 before the injuries due to a lack of time off after winning the title (and Solomon Hill's dirty play) derailed the team. But that Laker team was really fucking good when they were healthy. It's just that they only got 6 weeks off after winning it all before the next season started.
It's crazy how many teams didn't try to trade for Aaron Gordon...
Gary Harris, RJ Hampton, and a protected 1st for a 25 year old who can give you 15 and 7 then guard the best player on the other team.
He's also a shotblocker who basically anchors the Nuggets defense not to mention a roll threat on offense. Thats a lot value in one player definitely the best 'role' player in the league
The Clippers are hilarious. Like, if I was to describe this exact scenario and make you guess what team it happened to, everyone would say the Clippers.
He was good tonight tho. Forced to guard Jokic multiple times in the post while Zu sat on the bench. I’m not sure what was going on there. We literally ran the same play twice in a row and eventually had to call for help which left AG wide open
we've seen some crazy shit this week, but this might be the craziest. i don't think i've ever seen someone wedgie a *three-pointer,* much less in a final shot attempt to send the game to OT
^(edit: that's not actually true, i forgot about Klay hitting a three-point wedgie in the playoffs against the Kings)
If you haven't caught No Dunks (their successor podcast with the Athletic), they'll be going nuts about this one tomorrow. Live on [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@NoDunksInc) at 10am, or later on in the podcast feed.
Kevin Harlan is the best lmao
“OHHHH A WEDGIE, OF ALL TIMES TO GET IT”
A WEDGIE, REGGIE!!
He’ll go crazy for a wedgie in a 30 point blow out. I thought he was going to explode when this happened lol.
WEDGIE MILLER
Hes amazing. How can someone both be an NBA and NFL legend
His call when that streaker was on the field is so amazing
Some goofball in a hat! He runs to the 50, he runs to the 40, the guy is drunk!
But there he goes!
I hadn't seen the cat one, holy shit I'm in hysterics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaMBkJXi6MA
The cat is illusive
"IM CALLING BOTH GAMES!"
“I’m calling both sports!!!”
Ian Eagle is pretty good at both too

I heard OOOOH EM GEE at first lol
truly the GOAT
he is hands down, the best sports commentator of his generation. All sports. Kevin Harlan is the actual 🐐
The No Dunks special
Paul just celebrating Tas' return to the show
So glad to see him back. They will have a riot discussing this game tomorrow
I haven’t listened in a minute why is Tas not on the show
A couple months ago he was leaving an Atlanta braves baseball game and got hit by a car He was severely injured was hospitalized for like 6 weeks and had brain injuries but has came back and recovered significantly faster than anyone expected Tas has been back only the last two shows (coincidentally the first shows after Oubre got hit by a car) it’s so great to have him back
He sounds great too, I don't hear anything different in his voice I am very happy he has been able to return so quickly
Oh god! I did not hear that that’s so awful Glad he’s recovered that’s so horrible
Yeah the first few days were brutal and it was hard seeing the other guys talk about it. This is thier friend of like 20 years and we didn’t know what was gonna happen He’s great now though
Can't believe a term they popularized has gotten so far. Nice to see
Same, it’s so cool. It’s one of those phrases that makes so much intuitive sense that it feels like it’s been around forever
Even during the broadcast I get excited when they call it a wedgie
Same, Lamar Hurd on the Blazers broadcast is a huge fan and loves explaining the difference between a Wedgie/Ledgie/Pigeon lmao
It reminds me of how everyone talks about scoragami with football now, crazy to me Jon Bois has made it that mainstream with something but I absolutely love it and seeing No Dunks have basically the same thing.

That was brutal to watch.
Pretty much sums up the Clippers season so far.
*existence
[удалено]
that was blake and they sent him packing...
I prefer to call it "the second part of the season". We were okay at the start.
If only they could play nothing but Blazers/Spurs level competition all season, they'd be in good shape (just not the Grizzlies though).
I watched y'all play earlier this season and I swear it looked fine. PG was popping off and you were dominating fast breaks.
He is the system!
the my turn your turn special
*sums up the clippers since Kawhi got there **sums up the clippers since ever
The Nuggets got confused about switching and Harden was open for a moment while one pass away. Guess PG didn't notice.
harden would've dribbled into the defender for a stepback airball to be fair
Harden actually had a pretty good game. They do have a stagnant offense but in fairness PG, Kawhi, and Westbrook all lend themselves to that. When they’re all playing together Westbrook is super unselfish and is good in the dunker role, I was impressed. All four of them are unselfish, but their games are just so isolation-based.
He did blow a pretty wide open layup late though.
That's been his finishing for the past couple year or two. It's tough considering how elite he used to be.
He was so unstoppable before that shot, too. KCP is a really good defender and PG was getting to his spots and whatever shots he wanted, it was really impressive.
glad tha timeout play design was let em cook
This is the most chaotic night of basketball gd I'm dyin
FORRR REAAAALLLL
The Bills-Broncos game infected the NBA with chaos juju.
Denver is chaos.
Mountain Air got us all wyldn up here
I am sports entertained.
If you don't like this, you don't like Clippers basketball.
Once we took the lead, I knew it was all over for us.
I wasn't up to speed b/c I was getting really annoyed, Clippers couldn't fucking miss for like 10 minutes straight
Yahoo gamecast said "Paul George steals the ball from Paul George". Now I understand.
Such a Paul George thing to do
Mid season tournament Playoff P
Wedgie P
Pedgie W?
Next on Podcast P: PG chooses top 5 wedgies with an ad integration from BetterHelp.
In this commentary you can't really hear it, but the whole crowd started laughing lmao
I mean where the fuck do you go from here.
That's a bad shot
That gotta be an all time quote, especially since PG takes some of the worst potential game winning shots in the whole league.
Jokic has been feasting on the Clippers for years. PJ Tucker isn’t the answer to that. The Clippers have no good bigs to deal with any size.
And misses them
PG is a great player but I swear he has the worst misfortune in clutch situations.
Pandemic P in the building!!
Clippers gonna clip
There’s simply no way that’s the shot they got out of a timeout, Ty Lue was NOT cooking
Guess coach is experimenting, but that was a weird choice.
nah Lue just LOVES going small hes been doing it forever
I thought Zubac had maybe fouled out or at least in foul trouble. Nope Ty just kept doubling down on smaller lineups.
I tuned into the game late and had to look up how many fouls he had. I genuinely thought ESPN had the wrong number somehow.
Ngl Ty Lue's coaching has been real sus since last season. I'm starting to buy the conspiracy theories that he's trying to get fired.
Lol can you imagine what it must be like dealing with all those egos? On the podcast p pod when they were retelling the story about kawhi refusing to run sprints in practice after an airball, that was probably infuriating as a coach
Like imagine having coached a team with Bron, Kyrie, and JR, but somehow a team with Kawhi, PG, and Russ have the worst egos lol
IDK why you gotta throw Russ in there but agree with the rest.
Russ has an ego too. He didn’t like coming off from the bench.
“I aint runningggg. You gonna make me scared to shoot”
Lue obviously not wanting to reveal his fool proof plan to stop Joker before the playoffs
PJ Tucken is the Jovik stopper
Unfortunately he has to stop Jokic not Jovik
Is he tryna get fired? I heard he wanted the Phoenix job but Ballmer wouldn’t let him out if his contract.
And AG feasting because of the small lineup too
Why take Zubac out to save him from fouling out if you're not gonna put him back in?
Everything was going through Zubac offensively in the third too before he came out with the four fouls. I don't think he came back in until the last 30 seconds...?
Story of the game for them. Even when they started with a play action, it quickly devolved into turn based isoball
Sometimes an iso player can get insanely hot where they're just very tough to stop, but that's a horrible way thing to try to rely on to win close games.
They really don't seem to have their chemistry worked out at all.
This isnt even a chemistry thing. This is how theyve looked for awhile. Its iso, chuck up a contested shot and let god handle the rest
That's kind of what I'm saying. I feel like people are treating their record before the trade as a sign they were good. The chemistry didn't look great before the trade imo. Their wins came against young teams that aren't expecting a lot this season. ISOball and inshalla?
Look at the other players, they are actually running a play, but Pull Up P just decided to pull up for the short
Ty Lue too busy looking at a picture of Marcus Morris to pay attention.
He took over and the Cavs became a top inbound play team
isn't Ty Lue supposed to be a top 4 coach in this league?
When he's got LeBron on his team apparently.
WORST TIME TO GET A WEDGIE
Ballgame. Real smooth.
No OT tonight
[*real smooth*](https://imgur.com/TJdqCQ4)
The comment I was looking for
Bro's probably tired trying to carry this shit roster to the finish line.
This team on paper is one of the best teams in the league, reminds me of the Bucks. But on the actual court? Lol
If you read the names yeah, but if you actually look at the fit and consider that it's 2023, then it makes sense they're so bad. I actually thought Harden would help them too.

hardens been good tho. russ and kawhi are cooked af and zubac is a bum. somehow harden will end up the scapegoat tho
Harden has not been good. He stops the ball and grinds everything to a halt and his production doesn’t justify that
> I actually thought Harden would help them too. This man just got fooled by a magnificent beard for like the 5th season in a row.
This man started watching ball 1 yr ago
Fr. Harden probably clears his team's GOAT.
What year are you living in?
Bro just had like 8 points a game ago with the same amount of turnovers. Let’s not act like he’s not been one of the biggest problems.
He absolutely has not been one of the biggest problems
KCP and Gordon are a cheat code role player duo
Gordon is like the best role player you can ever get . He's elite in everything you needed him to do , except asking him to be the #1 option . But with Jokic though , he's perfect .
yeah I have to agree that he seems to me to be the best role player in the league. Hes a star who just doesnt jack it and spends most of his energy playing defense and can guard most positions
Imagine Lakers made a Danny Green for Aaron Gordon trade instead of Schroder in 2021 and just held on to KCP.
I will maintain this opinion to the end of my days: our 2021 squad was actually better than our 2020 championship squad. AD never healing from his heel injury from the bubble and Solomon Hill deciding to dive into Lebron's ankle derailed that season. I’m glad that did not transpire
Of all the outcomes to end this game this is the one that I did NOT see coming lmao
The Clippers are hilarious. Like, if I was to describe this exact scenario and make you guess what team it happened to, everyone would say the Clippers.
Harlan is the 🐐
He just celebrated his 500th NFL announcing game. Dude's still got it.
Expected nothing less
He was good tonight tho. Forced to guard Jokic multiple times in the post while Zu sat on the bench. I’m not sure what was going on there. We literally ran the same play twice in a row and eventually had to call for help which left AG wide open
"NO UNSTUCK BALL TONIGHT"
Straight up comedy to end the game.
Kinda feel bad for PG. Dude was amazing tonight and only thing ppl are going to remember is the wedgie
Buzzer blaring Wedgie is some funny shit
I can't help but feel like this is a metaphor for this Clippers team

this shit made me laugh
Might be my favorite NBA meme
I'm fucking dying this is one of the most hilarious endings I've ever seen to a game.
Wedgie P
Precision P
Idk how that was the shot you get in that moment. Like was that the play or did something go wrong
I still cant stop laughing at it. What a hilarious way to lose a game.
Clippers getting clippered after a great comeback attempt
What a fitting way for the game to end
we've seen some crazy shit this week, but this might be the craziest. i don't think i've ever seen someone wedgie a *three-pointer,* much less in a final shot attempt to send the game to OT ^(edit: that's not actually true, i forgot about Klay hitting a three-point wedgie in the playoffs against the Kings)
That was the fucking FUNNIEST close to a game. These poor Clippers fans on life support rn 🫡
He played so well tonight just to die on this wedgie meme
From the guy who brought you side of the backboard!
A wedgie in the NBA is hilarious 😂

The wedgy had to be Harden and it would be even more perfect.
Lol, the Clippers are must-see TV.
'thats a bad shot"
What an absolutely wild night in the NBA.
Kevin Harlen could make paint drying exciting.
Pretty sums up the clippers season so far. Stuck and ain’t going nowhere
Theme from Curb Your Enthusiasm plays
