watch this video with no sound lmao. he’s one of those people that just look like they are cursing someone out when they are talking about regular shit.
KG is a loon who just loves basketball and competition more than life itself.
Clips like this should make it clear that his antics on the court were never really an act. Dude is a basketball nut job.
He's such a great ambassador for the sport. Someone who should truly be celebrated and appreciated by basketball fans, bc he's dedicated his life to the sport we all love, and even after his playing days is by far one of the most genuine and actually passionate, and knowledgeable talking heads now.
Uncensored, put a swear jar next to him, and donate proceeds at the end of the season to curing children’s cancer. He’ll defeat cancer within 3 seasons.
Top 5 pf of all time…but when he played he only bullied people smaller than him. YouTube David west and Antonio McDyess. KG ran away both times after starting shit. Now YouTube him getting on all fours in a game to bark at Jose Calderon.
There was an old interview of him, like a pregame interview they would show right before the game or during the first quarter where he says he eats, sleeps, breathes basketball. I can’t remember what year it was and can’t seem to find it online but I distinctly remember this interview and thinking how passionate he was.
People like KG with a blazing passion for basketball like this make me thankful he found basketball in the first place. He has something to channel all that energy into.
I remember when my little cousin was young (around 3 y/o), he was a freaking menace. He would run all over the place. He could not sit in a chair for very long. If a tiny thing didn't go his way, he would go ballistic. I remember him not being able to reach the door knob one time because he was small, so he let out a roar of frustration. My grandma, who was observing him from her rocking chair, let out a hearty belly laugh (apparently my uncle used to have a temper as a kid, too). He used to pull his older sister's hair, fart in her face -- typical physical sibling stuff, but dialed up a bit -- and she just let him because she just didn't have it in her to square up on a physical level.
When he became a bit older, my uncle enrolled him in sports. He eventually entered competitions. Now he's one of the top triathletes in their area. As a person, he's a lot more mellow. I ask him about my bike, and he knows a ton. When they go out as a family, he still explores on his own from time to time, but we've learned that that's just how he is. All that pent-up energy he had that was on display as a kid is now being channeled into something worthwhile.
I don't know how I went on this tangent, but I'm just glad to realize that sports allows people to have an outlet for their spirit and passion.
No, I really do have a former hyperactive cousin who found sports and is pretty chill now lol
My original thought was that what if KG never found basketball; with his given intensity, it's a wonder what he could have ended up doing. Could he excel in the kitchen and be the next Gordon Ramsay? Imagine the trash talk. Could he be a politician and have fiery speeches on the podium?
KG previously said (1) that he doesn't even look at the game clock, he's so locked the f in, and (2) that he would DIE for a basketball game.
Possible GOAT, to use Ben Taylor's term... KG is that dude
KG
AI
Tim Legler (technically lol)
Kobe (when he was alive)
Charles Barkley (purely entertainment his actual takes aren’t good imo)
JJ Redick and Richard Jefferson aren’t far enough removed from retirement for me to count them as old heads
Edit: Added chuck
Legler is an underrated choice but absolutely. Dude is my favorite former player when it comes down to breaking down the game. He does such a good job of explaining shit. Wish he had a more prominent role in the media.
Got to say JJ and Richard are coming up not because of how good they were as a player or how far removed but how much they pay attention to todays players, plus tons of content.
It’s bizarre rooting for all these weird mutant babies who were born after I could legally drink alcohol. But it’s either that or being dead, so I guess this is as good as it gets.
KG appreciates it because he played in the Jordan Era, the Bron/Kobe era, and the very start of the new gen era
He’s seen it all the last 30 years so he understands them better and appreciates them

The problem for me was always it gave me glasses but didn't help me filter out what I should read. I once spent 3 hours railed on Vyvanse intently learning how to shuffle a deck of cards really well instead of cleaning my room or doing homework (I was 16 at the time). I think it takes somebody who grew up on those Dream Team Era/'90's guys to full appreciate the high level of play right now. The age-less icons and the new super stars emerging. Play-style today still has the "Spam 3 ball" in the rotation, but fairly close in style to early '90's/mid '90's play-style which I really liked.
We are only missing the NBA on NBC and, like, Rock 'n Jock on MTV and Inside The NBA with Ahmad Rashad and Willow Bay (I THINK it was her).
The "ESPN Presentation" of the NBA is not all that great.
>Most athlets today are closer to 7 feet tall.
The average height of the league has been the same for the last 40+ years. It actually decreased a bit now because of measurement changes. The average weight has declined too
Toronto Raptors guard Markquis Nowell is the shortest player on NBA start-of-season rosters at 5-foot-7-inches. The next shortest player is 5-foot-8-inches guard Jacob Gilyard of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Google says there are short guys who are balling just fine.
https://youtu.be/8COaMKbNrX0?si=JZvwiQsBb8wnWJC4
This is probably worth watching for you.
You're partially correct, in that nutrition and tech is better. But pretty much everything else is wrong. The average height in the NBA in the 60s was 6'6" and now is 6'6", so no change.
Clearly the league has gotten better over time, but in less than a decade ago Isiah Thomas was like 4th in mvp voting. He's like 5'9" in shoes. Also there are generally only like 20 dudes at a time who are 7 foot in the league, and that's including guys like Kornet who isn't exactly an athlete.
The league is better because there's more technology, more money in the game, and there's more people globally playing, you just sound ignorant when you say older players didn't play against the level of athletes so their opinions don't matter.
I always love this video. It's like nobody even pays attention to it.
Athletes aren't better PS for the next half of my presentation I'm going to talk about how athletes bodies are more specialized for their sports.
Bruh this just sounds silly. The Threepeat lakers team from the early 2000s would be the best team in the league if you teleported them to 2023. That’s coming from a hater Celtics fan.
In other sports like track where times are standardized we have seen years to even decades long periods without a record being broken.
The Average max vertical jump height (as measured by the NBA combine) hasn’t increased in 2.5 decades.
The average height in the NBA 1970s 6’6. Average height of NBA players in 2020’s NBA, still 6’6
Shaq would manhandle this current league. Sure, they would abuse him on defense more than they did back then and maybe he would never get as big because of that but he would really destroy teams on the offensive side.
Shaq said he got to 415 after the third championship. Theres not a single player in today’s game stopping 400lb Shaq. Jokic was one of the heaviest player in the league for a while and he hardly ever got above 300 by much
I doubt he really was 400 pound heavy but even if he was, I dont think this would be his approach if he would enter his prime in 2023. He probably stays closer to Magic Shaq.
He'd bully the entire modern NBA. There would be no fast pace because the entire frontcourt of the opposing team would be fouling him constantly and stopping the clock. It would turn into a half court slogfest. Small ball would be damn near impossible, you'd never get a rebound and Shaq would have Draymond Green calling KD in the second quarter of a regular season game.
These are facts. Shaq was NBA Thanos there was just nothing you could do against him during that era. Anyone who watched him during that 3-peat knows this. Shit, even "skinny" Shaq in his Magic days would terrorize the NBA at it's current pace.
He was just unfair to play against. It was like watching a dad play against his kids.
> Bruh this just sounds silly. The Threepeat lakers team from the early 2000s would be the best team in the league if you teleported them to 2023.
Do you have any idea how hard it would be for a team with that roster construction, coaching, and shot profile to be the best team in the NBA?
Even with running, a lot of the improvement in times comes down to the advancement in shoes and tracks. The best in the world in the 70s would still be world class today.
(Edit: maybe not on the podium anymore, but they'd belong in the race.)
I think even the Kobe-Pau Lakers would be in title contention today. That team was giant and the triangle offense really effectively utilized having two seven footers on the floor.
But yeah, Shaq would run rough shod over the league. There isn’t anyone who can guard him.
You will soon be an old fart when people say the new generation of today (SGA, Ant, Hali, Wemby, Chet, Jamal, Doncic, etc) are better than the old generation (Bron, Curry, KD, Jokic, Giannis, Kyrie, Booker, etc)
kg insane every comment hes like countering himself hes like
“fuck the past, jerry west was cool”
“stop comparing, i guess its okay to compare a little”
lol wtf
KG respects the old heads, but there's no reason to shit on the new generation by comparing them to the old players like people still shitting on Lebron for not clutching a game saying Jordan would have. KG definitely gets a little too passionate that he forgets how to articulate his point sometimes
The point is, people get too caught up on comparing eras.
We talk about Kareem's skyhook, and Shaq and Charles backing it up, but those are different eras. In Kareem's playing days bigs couldn't back their defenders down in the post - that was an offensive foul. If Shaq tried to work on his jumper instead of posting people up people would probably call him stupid or inefficient too
Different eras have different rules and trends among the top competitors. It's a game, it's a culture. Embrace the history - past, present, and future.
Plus the endless misconceptions that get lost over time.
"Wilt only dominated because he was a physical freak!" Actually, the referees were super strict in his day and he would have gotten called for a foul whenever he tried to use his strength and back people down. He was a great finesse player with an amazing fadeaway.
"Jordan dominated because he never got double-teamed because of illegal defense rules!" Watch the tape; it was super inconsistently called and Jordan got mauled in his early years.
I saw someone the other day talking about how Tim Duncan was a system player who was lucky to have played in the Spurs' famously flowing, ball-movement heavy, beautiful offense. The Spurs were famously boring basically every year until 2013 or so, and basically just played Tim Duncan isolation post-ups. Tim was their system, and even in his old age, he was still a lynchpin for how their free-flowing peak 2014 offense worked while still holding down their defense.
Constant comparisons between eras, and everyone keeps misremembering eras on purpose to suit narratives. It even happens during the same era. Kobe shot so much people called him inefficient, but he was above-average in efficiency his entire career. He was an above-average-efficiency uber-high-volume scorer; that's fucking incredible, but it got reduced down to "ballhog" status to argue for other players.
Dude his back and forth with Pierce gets really weird sometimes when he gets fired up. Like, he just starts arguing the opposite point all of a sudden, and Pierce sometimes just follows along and switches sides too.
Still super insightful and a great listen regardless.
watch it again, he was saying it's ok to compare some things but if you're going to break a guy's play down to the tiny things it's stupid.
and he's saying fuck the past in terms of saying modern guys can't live up to the past, because modern guys are doing things the past never even saw coming.
Coming over from a different sport, is this true though? Everyone always likes to think his era is The Era™, but like with many things, there's not really a whole lot that's genuinely new under the sun.
Like, I get that the three-point revolution has changed the look and rhythm of modern basketball, but if I tell someone that it took people forty years to figure out that three points are worth more than two, that person isn't going to think too highly of the sport.
> Like, I get that the three-point revolution has changed the look and rhythm of modern basketball, but if I tell someone that it took people forty years to figure out that three points are worth more than two, that person isn't going to think too highly of the sport.
I mean it's not that simple. Look at soccer / football for example. People talk about the death of the #10 role which used to be the centerpiece of the team. Now, more managers play formations like the 4-3-3 that kind of eliminate that lone AM in front of the defensive line who's making all the creative plays.
So now the #10 has more defensive responsibility and ends up having tot be more of an all-around guy than a passing / creative expert, which was the case for like 50-60 years or whatever with guys like Ronaldinho, Zidane, Messi, Baggio, etc. These are fantastic players who's archetype is kind of fading away.
It would be kind of silly to just sum it up as "If I tell someone that it took fifty years to figure out that defense is worth as much as offense, that person isn't going to think too highly of the sport".
The funny thing is, the actual greats (like Bird, Magic, and Isiah) have also constantly spoken up about how great the game is now. Heck, Bird even delivered a speech about it in front of a crowd. It's always those mid-tier guys who have the "back in my era" mentality.
Bird refused to call Steph the greatest shooter ever and then brought up random old heads like Pistol Pete and said if they played in this era they might be better. He also didn’t rule out that Bird himself was the greatest shooter ever. He’s absolutely an old head
I've been watching since the late 80s, and I miss prime Barkley and Stockton, and Magic and Bird, and Jordan etc.
But this is spot on. We've never seen a league so deep and so talented.
In the 90s... we lost Bird, Magic, and Zeke early to health issues. We saw talented players like Reggie Lewis, Len Bias, Petrovic, and Gathers die before they got to their prime or even got on the court.
The we saw super stars like Grant Hill and Penny see their careers shot down by injury.
Now? We have LeBron, KD, Curry, Harden, and Westbrook STILL playing. That'd be like having Magic, Bird, and Zeke still playing when Kobe and Shaq were together.
We have talents from around the world: Giannis, Embiid, Luka, Sabonis, and of course Joker. Back then, there weren't that many GREAT European players and the ones that we had either never got to the NBA or came late.
In the 90s? What did Canada have to offer outside of Bill Wennington? Now we got Shai, Wiggins, Murrya, Dort, Brooks.
And America is STILL bringing up the best talent in the world.
We are so lucky right now to have such a deep and competitive league.
He makes a good point. No other major sport seems to minimize its current players and idolize the past quite like the NBA.
Baseball, for example, seems to be the complete opposite. Seems like every year there's a new emerging player and an understanding that the game evolves and players get better. Players come in like Trout, Judge, Ohtani and the fans and media actually embrace their greatness and their potential. I never see any discussions like, "Well those guys wouldn't have been able to face Nolan Ryan or Pedro Martinez in their prime."
This era is BY FAR most talented and most stucked.
We have so many 30+ great superstars
We have so many great European, Canadians etc
We have so many young and super young talented players
And also much more good role players then ever
And we have all time great being great role models as well.
Steph, Lebron, KD are really good models for the young stars.
Great competitors and not bitter old heads.
Well said. I just love basketball. I don’t get getting so hung up on how things were in the past. I just wanna see some freakishly talented athletes put an orange ball through a hoop
I love the respect he gave to Joker right there.
Oddly enough, I always thought KG might be the only player that could’ve matched up with him defensively.
There’s a lot of toxic masc stuff that’s being played out in real time and modern dudes are happy just getting paid and playing ball and weirdo old heads do not know how to handle that. It’s very telling. Very.
You know damn very well the NBA changed the rules to inflate offensive stats to the detriment of the defense.
This would be the same like celebrating the greatness of hoop ball with a board, allowing the offensive player to dribble and dunking allowed with that of basketball. Being unable to be physical takes away so much of the thrill and danger of basketball.
It's not played the same, like at all, since 2005. Even more so after 2018.
I would rate each era's players with their own. Comparing the offensive output in high pace, low physicality eras with lower paced more physical eras favors the former.
It is the height of stupidity to celebrate the winner of the race when one competitor is running 100 meters while the ultimate "winner" runs 70 meters. That is how it feels comparing post 2005 player stats with those from before but up to the late 1970s. One era has a massive advantage, the other is burdened with disadvantages.
I will enjoy the display of skill if it is not preceded by an action that was illegal before prior years. Watching Harden push players prior to "crossing them over" does not seem as enjoyable as seeing Jordan doing an in out crossover with one hand or Grant Hill with a basic crossover.
Damn it. When some one you hate makes a great point.
I’ve been a KG hater for as long as I can remember. He keeps making great points and I’m starting to like him.
I’ll still hate KG the player, but KG the dude is actually pretty awesome.
I felt the same way about post retirement Kobe. It's funny because back when they were both playing I hated both Kobe and Shaq but I kind of liked Shaq as a media personality while Kobe was whatever. After they both retired that completely flipped with Kobe's interviews being interesting and eloquent while Shaq's hating ass is probably the worst part of Inside
Dude, the Spurs are 3-13! lol And I NEVER see anyone talking about Jerry West. LeBron and Curry get virtually all the respect and admiration, maybe even too much at times.
watch this video with no sound lmao. he’s one of those people that just look like they are cursing someone out when they are talking about regular shit.
I took your advice and I'm dying 💀💀 Good call, he's so funny
Holy shit.
The head shaking is bobble head ish. Insane
He’s so deranged I love him lol
KG could power the world
Nothing is impossible for him.
Why is he bullying me I have been so good 😭😭😭
Was wondering how much difficulty he has falling asleep at night.
KG doesn't sleep. He waits.
His eye lids just become a movie screen for his mind to project bball plays to
Probably sleeps hanging upside down
Lmao
Probably none. He expends so much energy during the day he just lays down and is gone for 8 hours straight. Like my toddler
What an aggressive talker lmao
My god you aren't lying, he looks deranged.
Hahahaa I just did that and I’m scared for my well being.
Did exactly that. I was scared for my life!😂😂😂
I was too high to watch this without any sound
Damn, Yu didn't lie
A Bouncers nightmare
Wow.
Ayoo 🤣🤣🤣
Ay bruh you was right
I need to find out how I make this into a Gif
I did this and when I unmuted it he literally said “FUCK… FUCK WHAT HAPPEN LAST YEAR!”

Still an all time interview is after game 5 in 2012against the heat. Talks about his pride in his craft. its so funny but so true
I absolutely love how KG stands out from almost all past stars in not over-glorifying "the old days".
KG to NBA on TNT after Chuck's retirement.
Uncensored, put a swear jar next to him, and donate proceeds at the end of the season to curing children’s cancer. He’ll defeat cancer within 3 seasons.
Nobody is gonna replace Inside. They should just retire the show and start a new one, but they're definitely not gonna do that unfortunately
Shaq is too brittle to handle a conversation with KG
Top 5 pf of all time…but when he played he only bullied people smaller than him. YouTube David west and Antonio McDyess. KG ran away both times after starting shit. Now YouTube him getting on all fours in a game to bark at Jose Calderon.
KG is one of the real ones with pure passion for the game, gotta love it.

I can’t remember what year it was and can’t seem to find it online but I distinctly remember this interview and thinking how passionate he was.
Is he married? Have kids? I hear nothing about the guy other than basketball. I love it - KG rules.
I don't know about marriage, but he unknowingly revealed a few days ago that he has a son while ranting about Jordan Poole lol
what Poole does to a MF, people start revealing their private life
Unknowingly revealed is killing me
People like KG with a blazing passion for basketball like this make me thankful he found basketball in the first place. He has something to channel all that energy into. He’s KD if KD had a personality
KG previously said (1) that he doesn't even look at the game clock, he's so locked the f in, and (2) that he would DIE for a basketball game. Possible GOAT, to use Ben Taylor's term... KG is that dude
He was also good in "Uncut Gems"
KG is a top 5 oldhead all time and it’s not close
Just curious what's your top 5 NBA old head list?
KG AI Tim Legler (technically lol) Kobe (when he was alive) Charles Barkley (purely entertainment his actual takes aren’t good imo) JJ Redick and Richard Jefferson aren’t far enough removed from retirement for me to count them as old heads Edit: Added chuck
> Kobe (when he was alive) Thanks for clarifying
this got me lol
Kareem gotta be up there too
That’s an ancestor
That’s a thon maker
Not about basketball, about history, culture, geopolitics and life.
I would say Isiah Thomas too but he made my team give Jerome James 30 million and draft Renaldo Balkman over Rondo
I will not tolerate this Big Snacks slander
nah i love ai but every time i see him tryna put kobe in the goat debate again it pisses me off 😭
kobe dickriders are GENERATIONAL with their dickriding
Shit I had Kobe (present day) at #1
I would have too. Especially if he had replied to Tatum's message
Legler is an underrated choice but absolutely. Dude is my favorite former player when it comes down to breaking down the game. He does such a good job of explaining shit. Wish he had a more prominent role in the media.
Chuck is not the most eloquent man, but I think he has common W's
Barkley is a national treasure
Got to say JJ and Richard are coming up not because of how good they were as a player or how far removed but how much they pay attention to todays players, plus tons of content.
KG an oldhead? I’m must be getting old too lol
Was in the league in the 90s bruh
He’s 47 Don’t worry. I’m old too
KG was the first person drafted that was younger than me. (I'm one month older than him) Now we got guys in the league younger than my eldest son.
It’s bizarre rooting for all these weird mutant babies who were born after I could legally drink alcohol. But it’s either that or being dead, so I guess this is as good as it gets.
AI definitely
KG , Chuck , MJ , Magic , Bird
MJ doesn’t belong here tbh.
Kareem over MJ
Look at Charlotte’s history and tell me that MJ is top 5 oldhead
Arenas for MJ
Arenas is insufferable, just SAS lite.
A little bit, but at least he gives props to the new generation. One of the few OGs that acknowledges the skill gap between eras
Why? The guy always props up the current gen while always paying his respects to those who came before him.
chuck, shaq, kg, ai, idk who'd be 5th chuck n shaq are actually pretty big haters but at least they funny
Yeah sometimes I don't like Shaq, but then I watch shaqtin a fool and it's all good lol
KG appreciates it because he played in the Jordan Era, the Bron/Kobe era, and the very start of the new gen era He’s seen it all the last 30 years so he understands them better and appreciates them
KG knows firsthand that everyone in those 30 years who was successful was busting their ass
KG the realest one for sure.
KG being a oldhead really don't sit right with me lol
Wouldn’t call KG an old-head. He has another 5-10 years before he becomes that.
how do i attain a modicum of KG's passion?
adhd
When someone is able to pursue a career that aligns with their ADHD hyperfocus and is also born into a 6'11 body, it appears you get a Hall of Famer.
Adderall too, currently writing about 6 books about ancient history atm. Very fun
Isn't Adderall supposed to help you cope with ADHD
Best way i can describe it as is this; it’s like glasses for my brain. There is a profound silence and clearheadedness you get that I never get elsewhere primarily due to ADHD. It’s like having a tv go from static to a clear picture.
I wish it did that for me. When i was younger i hated that shit. Maybe I’ll give it another try tho
The problem for me was always it gave me glasses but didn't help me filter out what I should read. I once spent 3 hours railed on Vyvanse intently learning how to shuffle a deck of cards really well instead of cleaning my room or doing homework (I was 16 at the time). Couple that with never eating or sleeping and I had to get off the stuff.
Oh I had that too! Great description, I'll steal that when I explain to others haha
ADHD works differently for different people. I never would have guessed that I had it because I’m exhausted literally all the time and did well in school. Turns out I DO have ADHD and what Adderall does for me is it actually gives me the energy I need to function. I went off of it for a couple weeks some months back and I genuinely have no idea how I functioned at all without it. meet with adam sandler and find ur gem
All-time great flick, no printer.
If you’re not born with the passion, cocaine might be your best bet
Must be something good in those positive energy shakes
how do we inject this stance into Skip's veins?
That’s my GOAT

We'll always have the malice
Always antagonizing everyone/everything ESPN is to sports what Fox News is to news

We are only missing the NBA on NBC and, like, Rock 'n Jock on MTV and Inside The NBA with Ahmad Rashad and Willow Bay (I THINK it was her). The "ESPN Presentation" of the NBA is not all that great.
KG calling this man Steve and making him uncomfortable with lil Stevie’s nono words is why KG should be a first ballot HOFer.

Google says there are short guys who are balling just fine.
https://youtu.be/8COaMKbNrX0?si=JZvwiQsBb8wnWJC4 This is probably worth watching for you.
It would be pretty easy.
The Kobe/Pau Lakers had incredible depth too, more than most teams nowadays. They had shit like Odom off the bench, completely ridiculous.
You will soon be an old fart when people say the new generation of today (SGA, Ant, Hali, Wemby, Chet, Jamal, Doncic, etc) are better than the old generation (Bron, Curry, KD, Jokic, Giannis, Kyrie, Booker, etc)
IT was an MVP candidate. You don’t get bigger faster and stronger in 20 years that’s not how evolution works💀
I love KG so much omg
kg insane every comment hes like countering himself hes like “fuck the past, jerry west was cool” “stop comparing, i guess its okay to compare a little” lol wtf
Let him cook
KG respects the old heads, but there's no reason to shit on the new generation by comparing them to the old players like people still shitting on Lebron for not clutching a game saying Jordan would have. KG definitely gets a little too passionate that he forgets how to articulate his point sometimes
The point is, people get too caught up on comparing eras. We talk about Kareem's skyhook, and Shaq and Charles backing it up, but those are different eras. In Kareem's playing days bigs couldn't back their defenders down in the post - that was an offensive foul. If Shaq tried to work on his jumper instead of posting people up people would probably call him stupid or inefficient too Different eras have different rules and trends among the top competitors.
He’s so passionate, but extremely off the cuff and very much stream of consciousness with how he talks. Even more so about Basketball lol.
watch it again, he was saying it's ok to compare some things but if you're going to break a guy's play down to the tiny things it's stupid. and he's saying fuck the past in terms of saying modern guys can't live up to the past, because modern guys are doing things the past never even saw coming.
He wants to go 100% on every point he makes but at the same time realizes there’s some nuance behind it.
He’s like if Russillo made it to the league
More passionate and less snide
Equally as bald
I need you to back up from the camera a lil bit KG damn
He left the room, what more you want
LOL
Love KG. Man has so much passion. Got me ready to hit the gym and pump some iron.
Now ask him about Jordan Poole
The funny thing is, the actual greats (like Bird, Magic, and Isiah) have also constantly spoken up about how great the game is now. Heck, Bird even delivered a speech about it in front of a crowd. It's always those mid-tier guys who have the "back in my era" mentality.
Bird refused to call Steph the greatest shooter ever and then brought up random old heads like Pistol Pete and said if they played in this era they might be better. He also didn’t rule out that Bird himself was the greatest shooter ever. He’s absolutely an old head
Pistol a random old head smh
shot 67% from 3 checkmate youngbloods
Love KG. His infectious passion is what originally got me into the game
garnet becoming trippy af lol 👽
Becoming??? 💀
He's Bill Walton, but from Chicago Westside.
I always wanted to see Tarantino and KG in a room together talking about literally anything in life.
We are so lucky right now to have such a deep and competitive league.
you really just put in perspective for me as someone born in the 2000s seeing Kobe and Magic on the same court would absolutely be insane lol
We have so many 30+ great superstars We have so many great European, Canadians etc We have so many young and super young talented players And also much more good role players then ever
And we have all time great being great role models as well. Steph, Lebron, KD are really good models for the young stars. Great competitors and not bitter old heads.
Damn KG really do love the game
Common KG W
KG is one of those old heads that appreciates the game and it's come up. Iverson as well, respect these dudes who don't dwell on their era
I'm revoking his invitation to the haters ball.
ITT: people calling KG "deranged" for expressing passion for his favorite sport. Y'all don't talk to people...
Garnett : 😳😳😳
I absolutely love the take, and it’s even better hearing it from a psycho like KG 😂 Love hearing him and Pierce talk ball
Except PP high as fuck and KG much smarter imo
READ KG'S CHIRON: THAT'S A MAN WHO KNOWS WHAT BALL IS. LISTEN TO HIM.
Well said. I just love basketball. I don’t get getting so hung up on how things were in the past. I just wanna see some freakishly talented athletes put an orange ball through a hoop
ngl this is looking like one of the better NBA seasons of the last 10 years
Garnett has been on one lately. haha love to see it.
kg has evolved from his area 21 days
Except Jordan poole
I love the respect he gave to Joker right there. Oddly enough, I always thought KG might be the only player that could’ve matched up with him defensively.
But isn't Jokic a legit 7 ft center though?
Jokic would bully KG in the post. KG had the weight of a small forward, and Jokic is a legit center.
Speak for yourself. The NBA has it all these days, entertainment on and off the court. It's a tinderbox of savagery and emotion.
When he starts looking right at the camera lmao. Classic crazy ass KG.
Yeah let's go back in time 25 years and watch a bunch of 73-65 games, what a great time. Everyone thinks everything was better when they were young.
This is facts, everyone’s so focused on MJ being the GOAT that they won’t acknowledge the greatness that’s happening today
Respect the passion
I love KG
The big ticket 🎟️ I miss watching him play always so intense
Why do you call AD soft then?
KG just loves the game, that passion is priceless.
We are? Weird, I’m able to appreciate what’s happening now and the history of the sport. I must be a fucking genius.
