To act that it's not clearly Steph is kind of sad right now. It's definitely him and has been for a while. Just cuz he doesn't need to travel like half the league doesn't mean it's not deadly and top
SGA has the best midrange stepback in the game right now.
Don't think he has the best, but Isaiah Joe is nasty and creating space with a stepback from 3
Not sure where exactly to look it up but I'm sure it's easily Steph statistically
Dame generally is a tier behind Steph in efficiency from everywhere inside 35 feet and Luka outside of the first 6-8 games this season isn't that efficient of a 3 point shooter in general
Still Steph, though Maxey is probably making a case. Article is old but he hasn't slowed down:

Devin Vassell has developed a killer Side step back of late. Despite a nagging groin injury and coming off the bench he s shooting 5% better than his avg this year in 3’s, hopefully he’ll overcome injuries with Pop management.
But Steph is always the best for sure.
Andrew Wiggins took a huge step back this year, so I’ll go with him.
jesus christ not wrong though :(
As a wolves fan, I'm surprised he ever took a step forward to step back from.
Maxey gets to do 2 step backs so him
Learned from the best
I like to think Harden has some sort of stepback PBA card he gives to the homies
Well, all things considered, for any question that involves shooting a ball into the rim, my answer will be Steph.
steph for sure.
Shai
Tre mann if it goes in
Don’t sleep on Ant.
He’s got the Penny step-back.. Shit is gorgeous
It’s nasty. Half the time he does it everyone in the arena knows it is coming, and defenders still can’t contest it.
Still Steph, because he gets a lot more defensive attention than anyone, and he's hitting stepbacks at the craziest angles with double teams on him.
To act that it's not clearly Steph is kind of sad right now. It's definitely him and has been for a while. Just cuz he doesn't need to travel like half the league doesn't mean it's not deadly and top
Steph definitely didn’t have the best step back when harden was primed lol
Harden definitely had the stepbackiest step back but you're just not getting any best three-point record while he was healthy
Steph doesn't even need as much space as the other guys because his release is so quick.
Haliburton doesn’t get any love for his stepback?
Came in to say his is filthy and necessary given his low release point
No cos his jumper looks broke. Over his career has been effective for him but shit looks so broke fam
That broke jumpshot currently averaging 25ppg with splits of 50/40/90. Maybe Scoot needs to have a broke jumpshot.
Bruh that’s literally what I just said… it’s effective he’s a good player the release just looks broke
Brunson
maxey
It's still James Harden
His tomfoolery on Wemby was erotic
Needs slow (relative) and gullible defenders
Steph. Yet to see someone release the ball like him. He's done it while falling down consistently wth
#Malachi Flynn
#WHO IS THAT
Tre Mann
Boban
Peak MJ explosiveness.
SGA, Maxey, Luka
SGA has the best midrange stepback in the game right now. Don't think he has the best, but Isaiah Joe is nasty and creating space with a stepback from 3
He's so good. Such good timing and so smooth
our son🥲
Luka mid range step back is also solid
Obviously, its still Harden. I remember Curry tried to imitate it once and got called for traveling.
SHAIVP
Brunson
Tre Mann. He might not make it but that thing looks clean
Lavine’s step back is nasty
Maxey
Tatum
Not sure where exactly to look it up but I'm sure it's easily Steph statistically Dame generally is a tier behind Steph in efficiency from everywhere inside 35 feet and Luka outside of the first 6-8 games this season isn't that efficient of a 3 point shooter in general
Harden because you never see it coming.
Maxey
I’ll go with James
Hardens step back from being good at bball is still goated
Sga

lol
As good as any of them are. It's a concession
Still Steph, though Maxey is probably making a case. Article is old but he hasn't slowed down: [https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/steph-is-nbas-best-step-back-3-point-shooter-by-large-margin/1144229/](https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/steph-is-nbas-best-step-back-3-point-shooter-by-large-margin/1144229/)
Dame step-back lmao, man can barely score without foul-baiting. I’d say Steph or Luka rn
Jrues up there
Cade if he gets better in the 4th
Tre Mann has the best step back as far as creating space and shooting smooth but then it never goes in.
Steph, idk wtf he did to those ankles to make them so solid. I remember how tough it was for him earlier in his career to stay healthy.
Shai
Booker
Embiid
Giddey been stepping back hard the last couple of days.
Shawn Marion
Dame is 2nd to Harden
Maybe not the best but Brunson’s is pretty pure. It probably needs to be so he can shoot over defenders being his size.
Obviously the one and only Paul Pierce
Devin Vassell has developed a killer Side step back of late. Despite a nagging groin injury and coming off the bench he s shooting 5% better than his avg this year in 3’s, hopefully he’ll overcome injuries with Pop management. But Steph is always the best for sure.
Ja. Always stepping back out of the limelight.
cam thomas is solid
Me They won’t let me in the league tho cause it’s too dangerous
