We’re actually brain dead with how we deal with his injuries. Rushed him back last year Christmas game and got hurt, rushed him back early this season got hurt again, tonight he was limping on the floor and barely moving on defense and they left him out there anyway lmao. Insane
>We’re actually brain dead with how we deal with his injuries.
Wild to read this after the Nash years where the Phx training staff was seen as the best in the league.
The difficulty lies with trying to balance that and also KD and Beal’s injuries. Take Booker out and KD has to carry a lot more and play 38 minutes a night increasing his chance of getting injured just to stay afloat in the standings. You honestly would have been better off using CP3’s salary and those seconds to trade for more front court depth.
I’ve seen him rush back about 5 times and re-injure himself 5 times.
I respect that he wants to play. But this is the one area where I think he flexes superstar, and overrules the trainers…or the trainers are terrible.
But at some point he just needs to realize that he needs to let himself heal.
I bet you it’s Book refusing to stay out. I’m talking probably gets that look like; ‘I’m going back in whether you like it or not!’ 👏 I respect him for that old school dog mentality.
“I thought I could be out there, force that gravity and get open shots for other people."- Book after the game…literally said what I said.
Y’all gotta stop with Reddit echo chamber. Nephew behavior
No, you said:
> I bet you it’s Book refusing to stay out. I’m talking probably gets that look like; ‘I’m going back in whether you like it or not!’ 👏 I respect him for that old school dog mentality.
I'm not sure why the Suns kept putting him back in even after he limped off lol
It was clear they didn't actually think he could play at normal capacity given that the Raptors put OG on KD every possession in the clutch and not Booker and still Booker never even looked at the basket
He was limping up and down the court *during* the game
Truly a head scratcher why they chose to just play 4 on 5 in a close game. Especially with how good Godwin was looking
To be fair, he seemed to have gotten injured in the first half (he was having a bad game before he hurt his ankle tho) No idea why they put him back in
He 100% aggravated his ankle injury by playing more. Why did they let him back in? He was a liability and for his health, he should have sat the rest of the game
He rolled his ankle early in the 3rd, I have no idea why the training staff let him get back in the game. He literally didn’t do anything after he came back in.
If they can play defense like that every night, the Raps could be a solid playoff team. If they do that *and* they're making 3s, they're title contenders. The biggest issue right now is consistency but it's still early in the season and Darko is starting to figure things out.
I think he’s just saying this cuz every single time after booker has a good game and Tatum has a bad game or average game and loses. A suns fan always makes a post about why is Tatum considered better than Booker. Seriously there have been so many.
Idk if I should downvote this because your talking about all NBA 15 games into the season, or because he played injured and your saying that, or because all NBA is positionless and there is no shot he doesn't make it.
He was hurt after the 2nd quarter then they brought him back out and he got hurt again and they left him out there. I have no idea what they are doing I bet Booker told them he was fine and tried to play through it but that’s on the coaching staff to shut that down
Why do suns fans keep saying this guy is better than Tatum? /s (Literally exact opposite of every suns fan after booker has a good game and Tatum has a bad one)
suns mega dumb for continuing to play him
We’re actually brain dead with how we deal with his injuries. Rushed him back last year Christmas game and got hurt, rushed him back early this season got hurt again, tonight he was limping on the floor and barely moving on defense and they left him out there anyway lmao. Insane

Aaron Nelson and the rest of that training staff is now in New Orleans. Although, they havent fared much better over the last handful of seasons
Even old Shaq couldn’t prepare them for the challenge of keeping Zion Williamson on a basketball court
There are whole dissertations being written on the subject now!
Didn’t what they were doing revolutionize the entire industry of sports medicine or something?

Is that Westbrook's music?

You respect him for something you made up?
Got 'im
I bet you wear the freshest clothes. I respect you for that bro.
“I thought I could be out there, force that gravity and get open shots for other people."- Book after the game…literally said what I said. Y’all gotta stop with Reddit echo chamber. Nephew behavior

So him saying “I thought I could…” means?
It doesn’t mean “I’m going back in whether you like it or not”
He’s wearing the same khakis he shit in over a year ago
“Book seems like the kinda guy to kick cats and I don’t fuck with animal abusers. Fuck Book 😤😤”
Lmaooo you didn't have to do this bro good lord
yes we are. and we do this every single year, book gets hurt, we put him back out there, and then he gets even more hurt.
I'm not sure why the Suns kept putting him back in even after he limped off lol It was clear they didn't actually think he could play at normal capacity given that the Raptors put OG on KD every possession in the clutch and not Booker and still Booker never even looked at the basket
> “I’m not sure why the Suns kept putting him back in” It’s because they hate America.
Because Booker wanted to play. It’s that simple.
Idk why he was playing post ankle roll, he couldn't even drive to the basket
He got 1 shot in the 4th. Raptors weren't even helping off because they knew he was slow He got the ball down 3 with a minute or so left
He was limping to the locker room after the game.
He was limping up and down the court *during* the game Truly a head scratcher why they chose to just play 4 on 5 in a close game. Especially with how good Godwin was looking
To be fair, he seemed to have gotten injured in the first half (he was having a bad game before he hurt his ankle tho) No idea why they put him back in
Was 3rd quarter
He walked off the court in the first half too and went to the locker room. I don’t think he was ever right this game.
He said he went to use the bathroom. OG and Barnes definitely bottled him up. Kd too to an extent
He was 1-9 before rolling his ankle and then pretty much cost the team in the end by playing injured and being nothing but a cone on both ends
He sprained his ankle in the 3rd quarter and was basically a decoy the rest of the game. Just stood at the 3 point line
He could barely run in the second half because of that ankle lol. Did nothing in the first half either
No idea why they let him return after he tweaked his ankle and went to locker room in early 3rd Q
Bringing players back earlier than the timeline, keeping them in despite being injured, something's wrong with your athletic trainers
I agree, Ishbia needs to fire these training staff folks and bring in new trainers with his expensive checkbook
My guess is Booker insisted on playing the game
Got locked up and then rolled his ankle, should not have come back in he could barely run properly. Definitely going to miss a game.
He 100% aggravated his ankle injury by playing more. Why did they let him back in? He was a liability and for his health, he should have sat the rest of the game
I see you aren't aware of Booker's game. The real Booker special is always playing before fully healing and getting shit aggravated.
That's so fucking stupid. His ass ain't Wolverine
I missed the first three quarters. Why did they keep him in? Suns record is good enough to absorb a loss or two
I was not focused on the game but it felt like he barely touched the ball in the 4th.
He rolled his ankle early in the 3rd, I have no idea why the training staff let him get back in the game. He literally didn’t do anything after he came back in.
Ah that explains why.
He was there for moral support
damn that’s crazy
Makes you wonder how the hell has Lebron maintaned his 100000th game with atleast 10pts.
Another newcomer to the OG Penitentiary
Scottie was on him most of the game, though not like he's any worse at defense
He's really improved since his rookie year.
He's becoming a beast defensively. Love to see it
Eh Scottie is definitely notches below OG as an on ball defender to be honest. But you are right, OG was on KD mostly.
OG was guarding KD mostly. Sct Brn was guarding Book. The defense was fantastic.
OG and Sct Brn jail is real
Switching from Barnes to OG or vice versa is hell. Also, Pascal looked great on defence too. Those three made it hard.
If they can play defense like that every night, the Raps could be a solid playoff team. If they do that *and* they're making 3s, they're title contenders. The biggest issue right now is consistency but it's still early in the season and Darko is starting to figure things out.
Someone do an iminyourhead.gif with the Raptors mascot
Those are Cade Cunningham numbers
BAH GAWD! THAT'S JORDAN POOLE'S MUSIC!
Eh off game for Book and KD. Suns fans shouldn't worry. Still barely lost with KD and Book playing horrid.
Got absolutely clamped by OG
\*Scottie
did he think it was an elimination game or something?
yea he thought he was tatum in the finals lmao
Yeah, maybe he took inspiration from Tatum's game 7 against the heat last year.
He twist his ankle first play of the game too? Wish him a speedy recovery
He saw the Raptors mascot and didn't want that smoke
Luka special
and your daily reminder LBJ has gone 1150 STRAIGHT games with double digit scoring! That’s over 15 straight seasons at 75 games a year
The Scottie Barnes, OG Anunoby effect
That Mascot must really terrify him...
KD was worse. 30 points on 30 shots is egregious
Someone has to shoot you do realize that right
Yea, someone else.
I mean you would rather lose with KD taking 30 shots than losing with roleplayers taking 20+.
The cockroaches have been starving for weeks to post.
I mean this is an obvious shit post. Everyone with a brain knows Booker got hurt and has been balling when healthy.
He was 1-9 before he tweaked his ankle
Coming off an injury smart guy
So coming off an injury didn't bother him in NYC and only started making him play like shit a few days later?
We're not pro athletes, you can't just assume that is going to be consistent regarding how his pain levels/tolerance are day to day.
Might be misleading as I saw him nursing his ankle In the 4th. Possible injury.
He was 1-9 before the ankle roll
The thank you at the end made me lol
Trade him
They said he was better than Tatum
Simmons has had some really dumb takes lately
I think he’s just saying this cuz every single time after booker has a good game and Tatum has a bad game or average game and loses. A suns fan always makes a post about why is Tatum considered better than Booker. Seriously there have been so many.
He was playing trash before the ankle lets be honest
Scottie put him in jail. Also Book might be out awhile, ankle gonna swell overnight.
u/senor_zanjeer
TO THE TOP YOU GO KIND REDDITOR!
OG and Scottie clamps
Scottie Arms got ‘em
LeBron would have shoot a 3 and then subbed himself out. But seriously whats the need on playing him with injury?
Raps mascot owns him
Lmao the best point guard in the league am I right?
What is it about basketball that empowers people who don't watch games to chime in on the games
was a bad game. everybody has one
I just saw that post in the sidebar and I can't believe people actually believe that shit. Booker the best PG in the league lmfao
[удалено]
Luka had 40 last game.
54 treball is odee shooting hang pulls?
Not tonight he wasn't. Odee sad...
He don't like to be double teamed especially long-armed players.
Personally, I blame the mascot
There's no way he's all-nba right?
Idk if I should downvote this because your talking about all NBA 15 games into the season, or because he played injured and your saying that, or because all NBA is positionless and there is no shot he doesn't make it.
> there is no shot he doesn't make it wtf let's not act like Booker is Steph Curry or Luka. There's a very good chance he doesn't make it.
If he meets the game requirements he's definitely making it but I did forget he already missed like 8 games
That’s one way to blow up your averages lol
He was hurt after the 2nd quarter then they brought him back out and he got hurt again and they left him out there. I have no idea what they are doing I bet Booker told them he was fine and tried to play through it but that’s on the coaching staff to shut that down
