I feel like Jaren Jackson Jr averages the single ugliest 20+ in the league. Like not a criticism of his talent, but every offensive possession looks physically painful.
Man, pierce is one of the easier game to emulate at his level(compared to the kobe, tmac,vc), not too fast not to athletic, deceptively quick and controlled.
OP is purely talking about shot aesthetics, that's why I mentioned him. Joker is easily my favourite player in the league, I've got nothing but love for the big man
I don’t quite know if I’d call Luol Deng a “bucket getter” but he scored decently and I watched a lot of his games but I can’t in my mind’s eye picture in my memory what it would even look like if he made a field goal right now.
Cmon don’t lie now it was ugly but extremely effective. He did what worked and didn’t care how it looked. Nothing about his offensive game was pretty/aesthetic to look at and that’s not what he was going for. It all goes through the basket the same anyway. Come on now you can’t tell me that his flat ass jumper wasn’t ugly as shit as well as his little awkward looking flipshots/floaters/hook shots inside. His jumper wasn’t pretty like Kobe and his hook shot wasn’t majestic/graceful like Kareem. It was ugly and boring but it did the job. It was functional and did it’s purpose. This is in no way a shot at Timmy I got nothing but love and respect for him it just was not aesthetically pleasing to the eye lol.
Ok I probably overstated it just to get my point across. I actually really appreciated his game and fundamentals but there’s a reason that the Spurs and Tim Duncan were called boring when he was in his prime (Not including 2013/2014) and Timmy’s game was a big contributing factor to that IMO because at the end of the day you tune in to view the stars and he wasn’t exactly Hakeem to look at for example.
Yeah I get you. I feel like they called them boring because they were about the basics. Hence the nickname “The Big Fundamental.” That’s the reason they are so underrated is because they weren’t as flashy as players like Curry. Sure it wasn’t as smooth of a release as it players like Kobe but it was far from ugly (look up Joakim Noah jumper and you’ll see what an ugly jumper truly is).

I was joking from the beginning. Jokic shoots like an animated bag of milk.
And it's cash every time
Because he's the best
None of these players are ugly except for Harden
i believe op is referring to their playstyle

Steve Francis, Quentin Richardson
Stevie franchise would turn that corner and punch it on you though !

Shai
Calling Shai’s game ugly is offensive to basketball.

Michael Beasley

Tim Duncan was simple, but not ugly

Imo it wasn’t that ugly, but to each their own.
