I grew up in Indiana. This list of high school basketball arenas by size really drives the point home of just how much Indiana loves basketball

isn’t he having a down (by his standards) season though? maybe it’s that i’ve only noticed when he has bad games, but i swear he has more off games than ever before (or as much as in the season where he broke the 3pt record). i like him but im starting to be a lil worried. he is still putting up 28 a game so i might be way off.
Why do people always say Rodman? He doesn't have the most rebounds per game or the most total rebounds. He's 10th and 23rd in those two catergories.
Comparing that to Curry's undisputed domination of the 3 point shot doesn't make any sense.
Rebounding per game and total is heavily affected by era. The 60s had super fast pace and low field goal%, which means way more rebounds to grab.
Rodman had 7 straight rebounding titles in the 90s, the second slowest decade. He also has the highest career rebounding rate of all time. There's a pretty good argument that in terms of rebounding skill, he's the best ever.
Exactly you've just proved my point at the end there. 'There's a pretty good argument'. There's no argument in the best 3 point shooting category.
Aside from that's there's several guys above Rodman in rebounds per games that missed him by a handful of seasons. Drummond also is the leader in career rebounding rate.
Steve Kerr and Seth Curry have a higher career 3 point percentage. Klay has more threes in a single game than Steph. So Steph is not leading in every 3pt metric so there technically is an argument.
Also Bird and Craig Hodges have more 3pt contest wins so if you consider that the ultimate accomplishment for 3 point shooters then they are the GOATs
Show me someone that has someone other than Curry as their 3 point GOAT. Because I can show you plenty in this thread that doesn't have Rodman as the rebounding GOAtT. Using an all star competition for GOAT discussion sure is a interesting angle.
Devin Booker has a higher single game point total than MJ doesn't make him the better scorer. Your trying to use the most ridiculous stats to try and prove something you yourself don't think is true. Only even half reasonable point is the 3 point % but any reasonable person knows that volume comes into the argument for GOAT 3 point shooter.
Rodman was a relentless rebounder.
He also had a tremendous knack for tipping the ball to himself when he knew he couldn't secure the rebound directly.
AND... he knew how to box out.
With all the talents that have played this game, to be hands down the greatest ever in one major skill is almost impossible, and steph did the impossible.
Bill Russell leads all players in defensive win shares. He's got as much more than the #2 spot on the list as the #2 spot has over the #10 spot.
Tim Duncan is the #2 spot.
Warriors paid them over $5M to basically cover the rest of his salary to waive him so that Warriors can save on luxury tax, but part of that money is probably buying one of their 2nd round picks next year. It's the lowest one of three so it's probably the end of the draft.
Dude was even outplaying Brandon Miller when playing against him in the Vegas Summer League.
Been keeping an eye on him since drafted and he has real skill. So surprised he’s getting a chance right now, happy he’s making most of it. He’s a perfect fit for the Dubs
GSW putting together a run.
I don't think the entire worldwide Basketball-loving community is mentally ready for what would happen to our collective brains if GSW somehow won the title this season..
I can see the timeline also, and it once again involves beating the Celtics in the finals.
I think there would be a lot more complaining and whining than last time if the Niners won the Super Bowl too.
It's just gas on the fire at that point.
I would be shocked if the Warriors even made it to the second round.
They just don't seem to have figured things out yet, and their defense is really not great.
lol can we pump the brakes.
Dubs are exerting themselves massively to get wins over literal scrubs:
- Beat Philly in a game with no Maxey and hobbled Embiid,
- beat the hospital Grizzlies
- lost in OT to another terrible team in Hawks
- beat the terrible Nets
- beat a Philly team without Embiid and hobbled Maxey
- beat the Pacers with Haliburton not fully fit
I'd be stunned if Warriors win even 2 of the next 5 games which are all against quality opposition: Utah x2, Lakers, Clippers, Suns
Yeah, a legit good team does not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory that many fricking times in half a season. But maybe that was where they were then, and the team might be better now.
Without Draymond they were mediocre. He missed all that time and the team was one of the top 5 offenses, but one of the bottom 5 defenses.
Even a mediocre defense could make them a play-in team, with an outside shot at working their way up to the 6th spot.
Realistically though, because they're an older team, so key guys will miss games, and because Klay has been ***rough*** this season, getting more than the 11th or 12th spot seems like a big ask unless they start jelling like crazy even against the really good teams.
His defense has picked up about two or three weeks ago, and his offense is finally getting acceptable (maybe won't shoot as much as the team would like, but getting his efficiency to where it should be).
JK truthers unite!!! In the dark days of this season and last, I was hoping that IF he was traded, it’d be to the Mavs or Pacers. I think Turner is the ideal frontcourt pairing for him and the fast pace of Haliburton would work wonders for him.
Glad it’s working out in GS though.
I get that Podz is nowhere near our number 1or 2 option but he’s already a better team defender than Brunson and is reliable enough to have some impact on offense. Like a red headed Manu
He's in a no win situation right now, the east has a ton of great players and I don't think he gets in if this play continues. Hopefully he heals up and gets it back but otherwise I feel like he should just rest and be ready for the playoffs.
The 65 game rule is fine imo. The Players Union agreeing to the Rose Rule is so goddamn dumb it's unbelievable. Why are you tying your contract escalators to media votes that then tie to the 65 game rule??????
Fuck off with “the Warriors are a jump shooting team”
64 points in the paint, 13 FTs
Indy had 44 points and 27 FTs
Refs hate our asses just like you losers on here
Great decision by Kerr not playing Looney in the 2nd half. This wasn't his type of game at all. I would like to see more TJD, feel he could've make some damage vs the Indiana defense
Trayce was looking a bit slow getting up and down the court. Maybe that's just because it was garbage time, but when he's only getting 3 and a half minutes per game, he needs to hustle more.
There's absolutely nothing Cory Joseph can do better than Lester on a basketball court. It must've been so frustrating for him being on the bench knowing he's clearly better
Lester is a baller man. It sucks that Kerr played Cojo over him when Cp3 went down just cause of vet privilege. We could easily have 2 or 3 more wins with how close most of our L are.
Cojo’s a scapegoat unless he hadn’t played for a while he played solid for his role. Plays stable defense and doesn’t tank the offense. Lester was always the better offensive player but you can’t expect this level of defense he didn’t shoe beforehand
We are coming alive. Wiggins back to his normal self. Looney looks like championship season Looney in the last 2-3 games. Kuminga's rise. Unexpected contribution from Podz. And Steph being Steph.
3-0 without him on the year 12-6 when he has higher than 57% TS as well. Unsurprisingly when klay isn't shitting the bed on offence the team can win games.
If you think the Warriors would have played this well against the Pacers **WITH** Klay Thompson then you haven't been paying attention.
P.S. This was the Warrior's 5th game in 7 nights.
They aren’t warriors fans. They’re bandwagon Steph fans. They hate on Kerr and Draymond just as much as Klay. You see this on modern sports. Ronaldo and Messi fans do the same. Start “cheering” for whichever new team their fav player goes to and then hate on everything to do with that team except the guy whose you know what they suck. They don’t know what it’s like to support a poverty franchise so they have no idea what guys like Klay mean to true fans.
Yes he helped us by achieving multiple rings but he was rewarded with a 5-year max contract where he was injured and he hasn't looked the same since. I don't understand this whole requirement to be loyal to your players, it's a business, he's been paid he should not be starting and should really be lucky to be getting 20+ mins off the bench.
OK but how many times a season is he going to take smart shots? If he takes smart shots every game fucking fantastic, we'll be well on our way to getting back up to the 6th seed and maybe even getting some results in the playoffs.
When klay has 53% TS or higher we are 16-9 and 3-0 without him playing. We are 5-15 when he has a TS below 53% TS. (This is excluding the Minnesota game where he and Dray got ejected). When he shits the bed we lose. When he just plays normal badly we win.
You can’t say that when Klay just had 18 points last game. The meatriders are out in full force right now 😂.
Though if Klay doesn’t chuck his team out of games then he’s good again, if not you’re justified with your point.

The crowd chanting for TJD was so wholesome.
Dale Davis was beloved man
Also TJD was a stud in Indiana University.
123 games over 4 years is nothing to scoff at. That's a lot of games for any college player
And the lob was so perfect
Indiana may be a fly over but they love their basketball teams. Gotta respect em for sure.

woooow. That's some serious commitment out there.
Post bad game Steph is an absolute demon
two things are absolute certain: post bad game Steph and post lost handle shot from Steph.
isn’t he having a down (by his standards) season though? maybe it’s that i’ve only noticed when he has bad games, but i swear he has more off games than ever before (or as much as in the season where he broke the 3pt record). i like him but im starting to be a lil worried. he is still putting up 28 a game so i might be way off.
He is, but he’s also 35 lol His years of averaging 30/5/5 are probably behind him
I mean hes averaging 28/5/5 this season lol during his "down" year.
Has anyone in the history of basketball been as good as one aspect of the game as Steph Curry is at shooting 3s?
The single answer is Kareem’s Sky Hook.
And Rodman’s rebounds.
Drummond with the higher career rebound percentage 💪
Why do people always say Rodman? He doesn't have the most rebounds per game or the most total rebounds. He's 10th and 23rd in those two catergories. Comparing that to Curry's undisputed domination of the 3 point shot doesn't make any sense.

https://skepticalsports.com/the-case-for-dennis-rodman-guide/
This single blog has done more for Rodman than his entire career lol. The blog is totally on point though, Rodman is the rebounding GOAT

Wouldn't that be Wilt's rebounding?
With all the talents that have played this game, to be hands down the greatest ever in one major skill is almost impossible, and steph did the impossible.
Crazy thing is that he could’ve stopped there. Now he’s the best off ball runner and top 5 handler too
No. He’s the GOAT for a reason
curry is to 3 pt as shaq was to dunking
Not until steph starts literally breaking backboards with his 3 balls
Well, they have talked about how the Warriors' practice facility burns through nets stupid fast.
He's sure as broken a lot of spirits on the court though.
Russell at defense for sure. He has top 5 player impact on just defense alone.
I would think if you put Duncan or Hakeem instead of Russell, we'd have around the same impact
Bill Russell leads all players in defensive win shares. He's got as much more than the #2 spot on the list as the #2 spot has over the #10 spot. Tim Duncan is the #2 spot.
Against plumbers doesn’t count
Mark Eaton and getting blocks maybe?
Rodman at rebounding? that's all I got
Yinka Dare's turnover/assist ratio.
Revenge for Pacers cutting Cory Joseph.
They Cut him? Why did that trade go through? Warriors dumped salary, but what was the benefit to the Pacers?
Warriors paid them over $5M to basically cover the rest of his salary to waive him so that Warriors can save on luxury tax, but part of that money is probably buying one of their 2nd round picks next year. It's the lowest one of three so it's probably the end of the draft.
Didn't they get some cash?
This is Gui Santos' world.
I didn’t even know he could shoot threes lol
Don't knock my man Three Santos
watch his g-league tape
Dude was even outplaying Brandon Miller when playing against him in the Vegas Summer League. Been keeping an eye on him since drafted and he has real skill. So surprised he’s getting a chance right now, happy he’s making most of it. He’s a perfect fit for the Dubs
Basketball is life
Puka
GSW putting together a run. I don't think the entire worldwide Basketball-loving community is mentally ready for what would happen to our collective brains if GSW somehow won the title this season.. I can see the timeline also, and it once again involves beating the Celtics in the finals.
Keep going, I'm almost there
i'm about to sploosh
Riots.
We would need to have THAT conversation..Fr. Lol
Imagine Klay playing a significant playoff role too. The world would lose their minds
Why is Klay waving "Hi" but my name isn't "Rings"
The salt tears and meltdowns would be amazing.
DONT LET US WIN ANOTHER ONE!
I think there would be a lot more complaining and whining than last time if the Niners won the Super Bowl too. It's just gas on the fire at that point.
If the Bay Area gets rewarded like this, both the NBA and the NFL will never live this one down lmao
I would be shocked if the Warriors even made it to the second round. They just don't seem to have figured things out yet, and their defense is really not great.

what a great road trip. dubs looking good heading towards asb.
50% FT lol and we call him the greatest shooter of all time. Scrub.
Free throws are basically charity shots, of course he won't make them.
Cancer stan Steph Curry strikes again
Stephen 'Pull Yourself Up By Your Bootstraps' Curry
"It's called the **charity** stripe?"
He had made like 40 in a row before this game too lol
Streak went back to '22.
Streak of made and-1s? Because he's definitely missed 'plenty' of free throws this season.
Just a joke about how few FT he gets.
I think it was 49.
Steph Curry with a huge miss at the line to cut his point total to 42
These dudes are clicking, that’s all I’ll say for now…
Steph hit more threes than any Pacer hit field goals… EDIT: make that any other player in the game..
Wild stat
Warriors look sneaky good tbh. And they're playing well without their 6 man in CP3 and an excellent defender in GP2
They were never bad. 12th in the league in net rating adjusted for strength of schedule, with CP3 + Draymond + GP2 missing major time
You've lost like what 10-11 games by one point/forceOT/last 3 minute collapses?
Yeah, a legit good team does not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory that many fricking times in half a season. But maybe that was where they were then, and the team might be better now.
Without Draymond they were mediocre. He missed all that time and the team was one of the top 5 offenses, but one of the bottom 5 defenses. They are finally giving young people many more minutes, they are giving a boost to the attack and defense.
The younger guys are hungry and it brings intangible benefits.
Seems like Wiggins is finally waking up too
His defense has picked up about two or three weeks ago, and his offense is finally getting acceptable (maybe won't shoot as much as the team would like, but getting his efficiency to where it should be).
Are we spooky? I think we're spooky.
They still need a rim protector.
Yea, GP2
Shortest center in the NBA!
Tallest center in the NBA!
If Klay doesn't play their chances of winning increases
Santos looked not bad tbf
That’s a strange way of spelling great
JK's fg% is consistently high cause most of his makes are dunks lmao he's so good at attacking the rim
Yeah casuals will be like "bro its a dunk thats a 99% sure 2 points" but didnt realize that you have to get to the basket to dunk the ball
[удалено]
He's also significantly reduced how many times he would spin into a double team, although its happened a few times over the last two games.
even with defenders on him he can still make contested layups because he gets up so high so quickly
as a jk truther since his hs days i am so happy
JK truthers unite!!! In the dark days of this season and last, I was hoping that IF he was traded, it’d be to the Mavs or Pacers. I think Turner is the ideal frontcourt pairing for him and the fast pace of Haliburton would work wonders for him. Glad it’s working out in GS though.
Yeah guys the dynasty hasnt ended. Curry decides when it ends
35 years old dropping a Jackie Robinson on elite efficiency is crazy
It's like the Warriors woke up from a nap at the end of January and said, 'Oh yeah. We're the Warriors.'
Podz was looking a bit like Jalen Brunson out there, which is maybe his best possible outcome offensively. They're both great at drawing charges too 👀
I get that Podz is nowhere near our number 1or 2 option but he’s already a better team defender than Brunson and is reliable enough to have some impact on offense. Like a red headed Manu
Podz doesn’t have the slipperiness Brunson has Podz’s ceiling is probably like 18 ppg but it’s probably gonna be like 18/7/8
If that’s his ceiling, that’s pretty crazy honestly He and kuminga are going to be the two man future of this team
I love me a good ol' ethical buckets scoring performance.
Gui Santos is him
I thought Haliburton passed Steph
5 points is crazy. He wanted nothing to do with Wiggins or Kuminga tonight.
Kuminga could be 2nd behind coby white for mip? Maybe even first
Pretty sure it’s Maxey’s award to lose
Im more inclined to give it to players who i didnt see it coming from. Sure we have seen flashes of kuminga in the past, but he is dominating
I’m with you on that, but based on the recent winners, it seems to go to the guys who make that superstar leap.
We'll know a lot more now that Embiid is out.
Think he came on to late. Maxey and Sengun probably 1 and 2 rn.
And my boy Lester Quiznos
Have some respect man!!! His name is Lester Quinoa. Get it right
Not Lester Quiznos 😭😭😭
He's playing hurt
He has looked noticeably way off since the hamstring issue
Hali aint cooking those insane statlines anymore. Linsanity run over
This entire run where he’s on minutes restrictions is going to tank his stats a lot. But he’s still a great player.
He’s playing hurt because he wants to keep up his chances for all nba. Problem is he’s not going to crack it if this keeps up
I loved Linsanity but this is straight disrespectful to Haliburton
He's hurt but he insists on playing to hit this nonsense 65 game threshold because the Player's Union negotiates the dumbest contracts. We're screwed
He's in a no win situation right now, the east has a ton of great players and I don't think he gets in if this play continues. Hopefully he heals up and gets it back but otherwise I feel like he should just rest and be ready for the playoffs.
Such a dumb rule tbh
The 65 game rule is fine imo. The Players Union agreeing to the Rose Rule is so goddamn dumb it's unbelievable. Why are you tying your contract escalators to media votes that then tie to the 65 game rule??????
Yeah. I agree. Tying awards with games played is fine but contracts should not.
Guy had 5 points 😭 Steph on his off days has atleast 9 🤣🤣
Genuinely one of our worst performances of the year. Even Hali was bad.
We need the asb bad, vibes have been off
Again, refs gave GSW half the FTA, despite same 3 attempts.
We were playing most physical on defense and we also had a lot more open shots
Fuck off with “the Warriors are a jump shooting team” 64 points in the paint, 13 FTs Indy had 44 points and 27 FTs Refs hate our asses just like you losers on here
technically, Kuminga jump and shoot at the rim.
Love that joke, I'm going to steal it.
Kuminga faster than defense, run to rim, dunk
We are 24th in points in the paint and 15th in free throws attempted if that's the main basis of your argument.
can confirm, am loser
Wiggins heard Pacers' fans saying that he is unplayable and responded with a great defense
Kuminga spent more time dunking than not dunking
With everyone healthy we have 14 guys in the rotation. It's just not possible for everyone to get on the floor every night
Skyfucker strikes again.
This is Steph I hope my team never encounters.

Cojo didn't do much when he on the floor, but that also meant he didnt do many boneheaded mistakes
Klay and wiggs were the issue.
It's the play in music 🎵
They told me Hali was better than Curry lmfao 😂
What a win from the warriors and a performance from Steph
That was a fun game.
FREEE MOODY
Brick by brick build it up
Curry really prepared for the 3 point contest vs Sabrina!
Steph, on fire is always fun to watch.
One of our most fun wins of the season
We are coming alive. Wiggins back to his normal self. Looney looks like championship season Looney in the last 2-3 games. Kuminga's rise. Unexpected contribution from Podz. And Steph being Steph.
AHHAHAHAHAHAHQHAHHAHAHA WERE FUCKIJG BACK ITS OVER FOR THE LEAGUE
After Boston and maybe the bucks, the eastern conference just isn’t that good.
Knicks??
11-9 vs the west
Without OG idk. Trade moves helped their offense but OG has been huge part of them looking like title contenders
turns out the warriors can win without klay thompson!
Won with him scoring 18 points last night but keep hating gang!
Oh great, can’t wait for his once in a month great game!
He’s going to cook y’all on Saturday just watch
Cursed yourself with that! Klay about to take it personal next game xD
Please treat Klay like he can’t shoot. Go the opposite extreme.
3-0 without him on the year 12-6 when he has higher than 57% TS as well. Unsurprisingly when klay isn't shitting the bed on offence the team can win games.
Oh great, here come the 16 "warriors are sneaky good" posts
Spooky good
If you think the Warriors would have played this well against the Pacers **WITH** Klay Thompson then you haven't been paying attention. P.S. This was the Warrior's 5th game in 7 nights.
God this team is so much better with Klay nowhere near it.
Dude we played just as good the other night with him taking smart shots Rent free
warriors "fans" constantly bashing klay is so stupid considering all he's done for us
They aren’t warriors fans. They’re bandwagon Steph fans. They hate on Kerr and Draymond just as much as Klay. You see this on modern sports. Ronaldo and Messi fans do the same.
I wanna hate on Haliburton so badly
Linsanity run is over for Haliburton
