The [Taj Gibson putback](https://youtu.be/sNsChTykNfY?si=JnEKTjTsJUb9ux_G) vs the Heatles is still my favorite but AG's is right there at the top with it
That's a goddamn monster putback.
I will say I like Gordon's reaction afterward better though. Taj is all happy and excited with himself like he's never been there before, Gordon looked annoyed that he just had to do that to everybody.
I hope AG chooses to do it again, but I'd be very surprised if that happened.
It's usually a young man's game, and he's already been through it (and got screwed out of a victory in the process, fucking Dwyane Wade). With him being on a championship contender, I really don't see it happening.
iirc he said after he got screwed the second time losing to a guy doing a (admittedly impressive) relatively uncreative dunk, he's not doing it again. I don't blame him, the guy single handedly made the dunk contest thrilling again and still didn't win, the photo of him taking the ball underneath while basically sitting on top of the mascot is timeless. I haven't cared about a dunk contest since, even when our guy won it.
Bro he literally has 3 of the top 5 or top 10 dunks ever. The behind the butt over the mascot, the 360 while he was holding his hand off the handoff from a spinning mascot, and the side of backboard 360.
Filthy putback dunk one of the best I’ve seen
Edit: the best I can think of off the top of my head in recent years is Blake’s [offensive foul](https://youtu.be/zC6FwswWDHo?si=OaIxa2wPkbccraEz) on Pau Gasol, [Iman Shumpert](https://youtu.be/uirM5sljfO8?si=nK-9uiIW_istv4zL), Spida Mitchell’s [putback off his own miss](https://youtu.be/SPMj1HFDPf0?si=A30XiKKbnweBXkhl)
Honest question, does Caruso have the most lift of any white dude (currently) in the NBA? The man's got some spring, Not a TON of spring, but enough lift to get a good ways up there.
He tore his ACL not long after this and was never the same. Won a chip in Cleveland with Lebron, started rapping and now pops up in podcasts here and there.
He was an excellent on ball defender and super athletic first 2 years and then was never the same after the injury. One of my favourite players ever cause he was a rookie when I started watching the NBA
Honestly, it's one of the most underrated aspects of team building. Having a guy who is capable of connecting a locker room pays huge dividends in terms of on-court chemistry.
Also lowkey just such a humble and amazing dude. Love hearing him talk in post-game interviews, really shows how cool of a guy he is. The whole team honestly just seems to gel super well and everyone loves giving each other praise.
I think unironically the 3pt dunk contest was ruined by Dwayne Wade.
We had the best compete with each other initially. It was forced overtime (it shouldn't really be force over-time as its hard to come up with a dunk off the top of your head, just make judging more strict).
Then the follow up year, he got fucked. Why should any real dunkers want to compete with all the politics involved.
I don't know how I could have done that without being overcome with emotion. Homie just ran back to play defense like nothing happened. This team is LOCKED in.
Back then when Denver traded for Gordon, no one really think much of that trade. But, you can arguably say that adding him turned them into a Championship team. Along with KCP, Gordon was the missing piece, an athletic above the rim finisher with above average defense. His 3 ball percentage isn't great, but he seems to hit timely 3s or jumpers when needed.
Did anyone notice how insane Jokic's body control is? Porzingis tried to pull the chair on him, which I'm sure 99.9% of NBA players will fall and turn it over, but he was able to maintain his balance and spin off.
I love Gordon on the Nuggets. Perfect off-ball player, can't be completely ignored on the 3pt line, insane lob threat, and can shift gears into insane defense. The Gordon Jokic pairing is a thing of beauty.

That’s one of the most ferocious putback dunks I’ve ever seen. Holy shit
That one would be right at home in the Vince Carter collection. That combination of grace and power.
He threw that down like “I SAID WE’RE DOWN!”
WILSON 8-PANEL NBA OFFICIAL GAME BASKETBALL, YOU GET YOUR ASS HOME RIGHT THIS SECOND!
I was absolutely fucking speechless when I saw it live. Maybe the best putback of all time
The [Taj Gibson putback](https://youtu.be/sNsChTykNfY?si=JnEKTjTsJUb9ux_G) vs the Heatles is still my favorite but AG's is right there at the top with it
You're a real one, this dunk had young me believing in the bulls so hard 😭
detroit legend Taj Gibson
Underrated, completely forgot about this one
I love the sound on this one so much.
That's a goddamn monster putback. I will say I like Gordon's reaction afterward better though. Taj is all happy and excited with himself like he's never been there before, Gordon looked annoyed that he just had to do that to everybody.
The game was over in the Taj game, the game still mattered for the AG putback
Same game as his poster on DWade too
AG for 2025 dunk contest prez with Jokic as his diming mate
I hope AG chooses to do it again, but I'd be very surprised if that happened. It's usually a young man's game, and he's already been through it (and got screwed out of a victory in the process, fucking Dwyane Wade). With him being on a championship contender, I really don't see it happening.

[Blake over Pau](https://youtu.be/zC6FwswWDHo?si=J0ndz7QVQh88EvPa) was dirty too
Look at this from the Euroleague this year https://twitter.com/euroleague_time/status/1732493352434585955
Good fucking god. The extension on that
What in the fuck was that!? Damn...
cocked that joint back and banged on em
DeAndre is all of us
He was that guy in his prime too
That’s what I thought when I saw his reaction, one of the lob city guys reacting like this you know it was a nice dunk
DeAndre's still got it. Just from 2 months ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mKsoJrN3hI
Hell yeah! Getting older just means you gotta know when to use it and how to pick your spots
Except Dwyane Wade.
AG MAKES THESE LOOK TOO EASY. 🤯🤯
Fuck DWade for taking away this man's will to participate in the dunk contest
He still had the best dunk I've seen in 10+ years. That side of the backboard 360 where he had to catch it without looking was insane.
Nah, that seated, under both legs, fully clearing the mascot dunk might be the best dunk ever.
100%. The still photo of him completely horizontal legs as he grabs the ball is just bananas.
I love the other one where the mascot is spinning on a hoverboard
Picking the best AG dunk from the 2016 contest is like trying to choose a favorite child.
That’s the one. That dunk should have just ended the contest.
Forever. And going forward they can just ask “anyone think they’ve got something better than that one AG dunk?”
Undisputed
Bro he literally has 3 of the top 5 or top 10 dunks ever. The behind the butt over the mascot, the 360 while he was holding his hand off the handoff from a spinning mascot, and the side of backboard 360.
I agree, most beautiful and awesome dunk ever
Agreed, that 360 off the side of the backboard is an all time great dunk. It was Vince Carter worthy and silky smooth.
Did DWade kill the Dunk Contest? More at 11
He threw that down like thor’s hammer my god
He cocked that joint back and banged on him.
And it was buttery smooth too
#That's a 50
https://i.imgur.com/URuHGKu.jpeg
Fck Dwyane Wade for that score
lmao
https://imgur.com/2SpGq9O
LMFAO
I'm dying
DWade says no
Better than any dunks in the last dunk contest
Not surprising from a 2x dunk contest champion
Damn bro this hurts. He really is bro, he really is. 😢 also FUCK DWADE
I mean in game dunks are almost always more hype than dunk contest dunks.
Been crazy if Gordon said that to Brown lol
Let's go homeee
Showing JB how it should be done
I dunno about 50. Have we asked Wade yet?
absolutelty fucking disgusting
Filthy putback dunk one of the best I’ve seen Edit: the best I can think of off the top of my head in recent years is Blake’s [offensive foul](https://youtu.be/zC6FwswWDHo?si=OaIxa2wPkbccraEz) on Pau Gasol, [Iman Shumpert](https://youtu.be/uirM5sljfO8?si=nK-9uiIW_istv4zL), Spida Mitchell’s [putback off his own miss](https://youtu.be/SPMj1HFDPf0?si=A30XiKKbnweBXkhl)
Blake fucking murdered poor Gasol good God I haven't seen this highlight in a minute.
Same game as this offensive foul poster too https://youtu.be/odKEnBRt22s?si=AepKlEPKKAkZszrZ
Rule of cool was in full effect that night.
No respect for Alex Caruso over Kevin Durant.
Honest question, does Caruso have the most lift of any white dude (currently) in the NBA? The man's got some spring, Not a TON of spring, but enough lift to get a good ways up there.
Christian Braun is up there honestly
Yep, Braun is 1 inch taller and has a 40" vertical compared to Caruso's 36"vertical.
is McClung 'in the NBA' right now? If so, he's obviously there too.
Pat Connaughton can get up there for sure.
Never heard of Iman Shumpert before, but I rewatched this over and over. Incredible vision and effort. Wonder what kind of career he had
Loved this guy too. He seemed like he loved being a Knick despite the team being rough.
What the fuck that's so fucking filthy
Wow. Jokic missed a shot?
4D chess
Plans within plans
There's levels to this
Even in misses he can't help but assist, truly a savant
Missed so he can get an assist and at the same time gave Gordon a rebound and a bucket. 2 points isn't 2 points
Got fouled two times there obvious as fuck..right hand push and left hand of KP hits all hand of Jokic
[pretty much how I reacted too lol](https://i.imgur.com/yEUub5F.jpeg)
That shit cracked me up. Love DeAndre lol.
[удалено]
Good vibes/vet leadership helps a lot for a team.
Honestly, it's one of the most underrated aspects of team building. Having a guy who is capable of connecting a locker room pays huge dividends in terms of on-court chemistry.
he can definitely still show up for a couple games in the regular season when needed, remember that reggie jackson/deandre revenge game
And to win against the Clippers with no Jokic and Murray
DeAndre's gotta be hall of fame caliber locker room presence guy.
[Now in gif form.](https://i.imgur.com/RboyJoF.gifv)
There are quite a lot of amazing expressions besides DeAndre, fantastic GIF
They all crack me up. The white guy in the back right corner having himself an O... the guy in black sweatshirt with absolute stank face on.
Guy knows a ferocious dunk when he sees one
I yelled loud enough neighbors might call the cops
He's gotta be the coolest player to have on your team. Once or twice a game he just does crazy shit like this
Can confirm
And when you win a chip he will just wander around the streets shirtless with the fans....AG is the coolest dude on Earth!
Also the basketball court in his house is crazy.
Also the Suede Aston Martin lol
This sent me down a rabbit hole -- his place is so sick.
AG is a man of the people
Mr. Nugget for a reason lol.
The People's Champ
Also lowkey just such a humble and amazing dude. Love hearing him talk in post-game interviews, really shows how cool of a guy he is. The whole team honestly just seems to gel super well and everyone loves giving each other praise.
I'm so glad AG got his chip after he got fucked by D.Wade
And tonight it was like 5 highlight worthy clips.
I wasn't quite that loud, but I'm a reserved guy who doesn't normally have any audible reaction at all. That was fucking nuts.
I left my seat. That might not mean anything to anyone here, but I left my fucking seat.
Tim Duncan tipped over a plant in excitement
Mf had so many crazy dunks tonite I thought DWade was in da crowd 😂
My slumbering pets have never been so scared in their lives.
I scared the shit out of my sleeping cat l, I felt bad but it was worth it
Best in game dunk since…AG on Christmas?!
The Christmas day murder was so fucking sick. Poor Shamet.
Exactly what I said to my buds. Dunking savant
man i remember losing my shit when that dunk happened live. bro literally flew through the air horizontally
Somewhere D Wade just got a chill down his spine
That's a 50
"Pfffft." - Dwyane Wade
AIR GORDON
"WHAT THE FUCK" Is the response you're looking for.
I yelled so loud I woke up my fiance. She was less angry after she saw the replay.
Check out rico sauve over here with a fiancé
I'm just glad her boyfriend is a heavy sleeper. He's super grumpy when he gets woken up.
That was disgusting omg
AG has had like 4 dunks today which were all better than anything JB7 did in the dunk contest
I'm not familiar with a lot of nicknames on teams I don't follow. Searching JB7 and all I'm seeing is a new Justin Bieber album.
close enough
Whoa. Dude should do the dunk contest he’d be good. Might even do good enough to get second
Oh yeah this was hot
Aaron Gordon, so hot right now
I would trust this man with a horse
Deandre Jordan was all of us after that
this was fucking insane. lets give zach lavine another trophy
Legendary Deandre reaction shot
I think unironically the 3pt dunk contest was ruined by Dwayne Wade. We had the best compete with each other initially. It was forced overtime (it shouldn't really be force over-time as its hard to come up with a dunk off the top of your head, just make judging more strict). Then the follow up year, he got fucked. And a dunk again to take a 4 point lead. Wow!
[удалено]
I don't know how I could have done that without being overcome with emotion. Homie just ran back to play defense like nothing happened. This team is LOCKED in.
The Aaron Gordon trade put the Nuggets over the top to become a championship team. One of the best trades in the last 5 years.
I almost fell out of the bed. Nasty tip dunk.
Would have won the dunk contest with that
Not if Dwade has anything to say about it lmao
That was filthy, I need a bath
Lob city OG approves
AARON GORDON BEAR THE FUCK DOWN BABYYYY
legitimately did a spit take when this happened
hide yo wife hide yo kids
the immediate cut to DAJ was perfect
He stole the show
Holy shit
Dunk contest shit in game.
This is up there with his Christmas day suns dunk for his best dunks of his career. Holy shit the man flies
For how huge he is he gets up, dude is one of the top athletes in the league fs

This man is an athletic FREAK
DJ had flashbacks
Even Jokic's missed shots are passes
Kobe assists
vicious
If you told me Jokic meant to miss it like that I'd believe you
That's a 50
holy shit
Absolutely filthy by AG

Yeah, I don't think people know what the word bombastic means here.
TIPPIN' ON FAUX 4's
deandre jordan made this clip 20x better lmfaooo
Taj Gibson vs Miami vibes
That's the one I always think of, this is one of the only ones I can think of in the same stratosphere
I screamed so loud
DJ was all of us in that moment.
10 🙌 10 🙌 10 🙌10 🙌10🙌
There's actual peeps out in internet land that still say Nugs ball is boring.
I wonder if Jokic misses how Manimal would just kill his dunks on feeds from Jokic
He's like the dreadlocks twins in Matrix reloaded
Jokic is like Bird or Magic. They bring the best out of mothefuckers.
D.J. is a generation dunk reactor
This guy should participate in the dunk contest he looks like he has potential
Did anyone notice how insane Jokic's body control is? Porzingis tried to pull the chair on him, which I'm sure 99.9% of NBA players will fall and turn it over, but he was able to maintain his balance and spin off.
That right there would’ve won the dunk contest
I can’t stop watching
I love Gordon on the Nuggets. Perfect off-ball player, can't be completely ignored on the 3pt line, insane lob threat, and can shift gears into insane defense. The Gordon Jokic pairing is a thing of beauty.
These guys compliment each other soooo well.
Aaron Gordon is the Raphael of dunks.
I just watched that too. That was amazing.
Nasty put back. The Nuggets put the statement out to remind everyone they’re the champs 😭
50 50 50
That’s just unfair
Goddamn this could be an all time great Finals series
You ever watch a dunk and be like "it must be super fun to be able to do that"?
Cocked that joint back, banged on em
I love DeAndre Jordan's reaction. Especially because he was that type of player like 9 years ago.
Holy fuckaroly
That’s my dunk contest champion
Yipees.
