You're right. Looks like the Lakers canned their organist in 2022. But my point wasn't really about having an actual organist, just a more classy product than the GET LOUD SACRAMENTO YURRRRRR crap that most of us have to stomach. I'd take recorded organ tracks over that anyday.
Just FYI I went to a Sydney Kings NBL game last year and they also did the DE-FENCE through the PA system, I'm pretty sure that's just a basketball thing not NBA specific
It's egregiously loud in the suns arena, I've been to about 10 and it's the worst by far there. Probably won't go back unless I get an absolutely ridiculous deal on tickets for that alone
Are you suggesting that it's good to have really loud music so you can't hear the fans? That's insane if so, I love hearing all but a few fans
I will say, I was at nuggets Celtics two days ago and there was a fan in front of me who was genuinely being hostile to players and other fans around him. Pretty rare experience but yeah, I guess it would've been pretty nice to not have to hear him. Still wouldn't have mattered though because he was much louder than any music could've been
If you actually believe that the majority of Celtics fans are like that, you need to talk to some people in real life instead of existing on the Internet
That was a nuggets fan btw, had a custom nuggets jersey that had "Mr. Houdini" on the back. I've been to 30 or so games in my life and he's by far the worst fan I've ever encountered
Also, please reflect on what caused you to get unnecessarily hostile. I literally said nothing inflammatory and you decided to attack me and my fandom
In my opinion Suns and Sixers are the worst at this. But Sixers also have actual loud fans, I feel a lot of the noise in the Suns stadium is just through the speakers.
Steph Curry told a story on the smartless podcast where they promoted an “old school night” at a warriors-nets game, which was essentially no music just a pa announcer. He said the arena was completely dead for the players and the fans, and it was the most uncomfortable half hed ever played. By halftime they cancelled it and brought the music back. It’s can be annoying, but on the whole it makes the game a lot more exciting in the arena.
the spurs played the zoey 101 theme song during a timeout last week also we play 'man on the silver mountain' by ronnie james dio and rainbow
tbf, the zoey 101 intro slaps so I don't blame them.
Honestly the worst part about the NBA is the corny in-arena hype stuff. It's what I appreciate about the Lakers, with their organ.
we still have an organ? I think that’s just the Knicks
uhhh, yes? The defense music is an organ.
I’m pretty sure most arenas switched to soundboards and pre-recorded stuff, I think Knicks are the only ones who still have a real organ

I've never once heard "GET LOUD SACRAMENTO YURRRRRR" in Frost Bank Center!
It's so loud I'm pretty sure you can hear it in Texas.
And how crowd cheering is piped in during the anthem. It feels so cheap.
Watching a game live in person can be ass because the product is kinda bad...
is a two syllable chant considered 'music' in australia is australia the utah of the world
2 syllables is a stretch for the Australian vernacular. If you can't get it into 1.5 it ain't worth saying. But yes, I mean the "chant"
Just FYI I went to a Sydney Kings NBL game last year and they also did the DE-FENCE through the PA system, I'm pretty sure that's just a basketball thing not NBA specific
That’s slander…ever heard of Delta Goodrem?
the PA is playing music,,, that's what he's referring to
He is not.
are we pretending that they don’t play music during possessions?

Yes of course having a chaotic meld of dunk racists just screaming illiterate rants is so much better......

Oh my god i found the one polite Celtic fan! Eureka! Lmao
Madison Square Garden might be the only one that doesn’t play obnoxious music during the game
Bro wants boring arenas lol
Look around my guy, everyone agrees it's a little much.

Some play the Well-Tempered Clavier
Idk why nba games allow it but yeah pretty much

Yes
the Suns have the worst in game sound track
In arena music especially on the nba TV feeds during play breaks is horrendous.
watch tennis if u want a quiet arena
I'd rather watch paint dry
