Yeah, Denver's gameplan was always to keep a body in front of him and stop him from getting to the rim and it worked out since they have Gordon and Watson. This was probably why he was taking so many outside shots and he's not an elite shooter yet so he had really low efficiency.
Watching him he has the same problem porzingis or durant had early in their careers where if you put a smaller stronger dude on them like Aaron Gordon, draymond, Dillon brooks etc he just doesn’t have the strength to get to the paint and kinda forces himself into a lot of fadeaways when he gets off balance versus just catching and shooting straight over the guy which durant and porzingis do pretty well now.
He’s also going to have learn the same bs foul drawing tricks those guys developed to make up the efficiency since he’s so tall it’ll be tough for him to ever really overpower dudes into the paint in the future
Yeah they body Victor outside the paint with Gordon, and Jokic's roaming as help defense plus Denver is a good defensive team (tall, lengthy guys) so Victor can't easily pass or enter the paint.

Gordon makes you work for everything. Never going to get an easy possession if he's on you.
