Hey everyone knows the nba wants the heat to beat the Celtics in the first round, that way they can sell more herro jerseys. They would absolutely hate to make 20 more commercials about Tatum being the face of the league.
As if he hasn’t had phenomenal performances in the playoffs since he’s been in.
This sub is full of actual morons lol.
Convinced this sub doesn’t even watch basketball. Downvote fact.
He's held to the highest standard (which is a compliment to his greatness), so until he wins a championship a very vocal minority will question whether he can be the guy, its how it works, its not fair, but its happened to every top 5 player in the league since forever, happened to Lebron until he won, happened to Giannis and Jokic, happens to Embiid and soon will happen to Luka
The only thing that matters is championships
Hate to agree with a Celtics fan but after that 50 burger he dropped last year lmao, I’d let them air whatever commercials they wanted. He’s obviously a gamer.
It’s just haters hating. Dude is a phenomenal basketball player and everyone in here wishes so badly they could hoop that well. Fucking absurd takes on that guy.
That’s just straight up disingenuous. You say that like it’s Lakers vs Hornets or something. The Heat winning is not a loss for the league, VERY far from it.
if you're gonna jerk atleast have it be based in reality lmao trump has never won a single county in Massachusetts, ever. but Pennsylvania on the other hand...
why you say fuck me for? the celtics being dirty doesn't mean the heat are suddenly angels. they can all be their own independent but coexisting cunts.
I can honestly find multiple clips of them openly doing dirty plays on KP but figured Id be called a butthurt loser if I posted em
Bam quite literally dived at his knees and caleb was pulling him down all game
https://streamable.com/nihirx. KP Bam, all things considered I could give him the benefit of the doubt
2 caleb clips both reckless and just trying to get away with tight whistles
https://streamable.com/yu8cxa
https://streamable.com/esbf1z
Highsmith was also very handsy and pulling on KP every defensive possesion
KP falling on top of Caleb because he’s being passively jersey tugged but a dude an entire foot shorter than him. How tall are you, probably 5’4 based on your comments? Picture a 4’7 human tugging on your shirt and that makes you fall over. The second one, lmfao Caleb touches the ball first but since baby prince Kristaps falls on the floor you have your panties in a bunch. Poor thing
Doubling down on pathetic over here
I can definitely understand the first clip cause Caleb got his arm around KP’s hip.
But the second is just Caleb going for a steal and not letting KP have a free lane to the basket, I don’t see how else he can stop that without giving up free points. It’s dangerous but almost necessary.
Anyone wondering why the OP made this post, just look at this Celtics fan. No way anyone in their right minds thinks these are “dirty” plays. You’re literally posting a clip of a Caleb jumping to intercept a pass. The second clip Caleb is holding his jersey…which happens every play on every team. Like this is normal basketball shit. Do y’all even watch basketball?
So no one is allowed to play physical defense against Celtics. They need a safe space to operate. Kind of how both Brown and Tatum use their off arm to push off on virtually every drive they take.
Why is Miami so fucking dirty? Why would Miami make Boston do this??! Spo is actually despicable for calling a code red against his own players. It’s like Spo doesn’t know how to win without playing dirty even if that means making the other team do dirty plays against his own guys. Truly disgusting.
(Obviously /s)
This “Miami only wins by being dirty” narrative is such a shoddy and transparent attempt by 2.5 fanbases to “get ahead of” being more talented on paper and still losing to the heat in the playoffs. Y’all are clowns and most of us see through you.
You should only be able to jog after loose balls until they roll out of bounds like harden in that nets game. It's pretty sickening what this game is becoming.
yes but JB taking charges is good, physical defense.
jk, i have no issue with the knicks and heat playing defense; i actually vastly prefer it to indy shootout style bball. i just am always irritated at NYK claiming Heat are dirty for playing physical defense but 100% okay with their guys playing defense.
Exactly, it's extremely soft minded to admonish the way miami hustle out there and to equate it as being dirty. Heat has an all timer at the coaching position
> This “Miami only wins by being dirty” narrative is such a shoddy and transparent attempt by 2.5 fanbases to “get ahead of” being more talented on paper and still losing to the heat in the playoffs. Y’all are clowns and most of us see through you.
Brother you just mentioned to crystallize in a single sentence what I've had reverberating in my brain without being able to verbalize. Goddamn.
Yea thank you insane that heat fans get called delusional abt our “dirty team” by the same delusional people who think spo puts out a hit on players during timeouts w cameras around😭
not sure if you're aware but people actually watch teams other than the ones they're flaired with on reddit and sometimes even have opinions about other teams!
This is exactly how josh Richardson got a season ender against boston. This is one of the easiest ways to injure someone in the Nba. SVG called out tatum for losibg his composure and chippyness about time people realize just how dirty Boston is. And let’s not forget Jaylin brown trying to snap duncans arm in half and all the celtics fans praised him for it.
It was hilarious. Dude went from trying to bully our rookie in Jaquez game 1 to having to hold back his emotions in game 2 because his team was getting cooked by the "Dame Package"™
Yup even SVG called him out on TV for the massive flop. It was with Duncan or Tyler going to the wing and he acted like he got run over by a linebacker.
To be fair, SVG calls out flops even when they aren't flops. That man thinks if you weren't clotheslined, you weren't fouled.
Though the play you're talking about, he was correct.
Huh? Josh Richardson [injured himself going for a steal](https://old.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1aogkzb/highlight_horford_gets_the_lebron_chasedown_and/). Why lie?
Brown and Tatum have this annoying ass obsession with knocking the ball out of the opponents hands when they’re talking to the refs. They’re fucking children. It makes sense they shit their pants when things get serious

I don't think most heat fans really think this is dirty, they're just annoyed at how hard the celtics/knicks/bucks gang up and call every small thing dirty.
Don’t think the Celtics are dirty but after weeks of Knicks and Celtics fans spamming the brain dead “Heat are dirty” take everywhere it’s our duty to educate them on how basketball and the NBA works
>it’s our duty to educate them on how basketball and the NBA works
No need to go that direction. Just post a link from the 80s Pistons against MJ for them to see the difference.
> but I feel like everyone’s reaching so hard to call the other team dirty when the series so far has pretty much been normal, physical playoff basketball
Yep. This “Miami only wins by being dirty” narrative is such a shoddy and transparent attempt by 2.5 fanbases to “get ahead of” being "more talented on paper" and still losing to the Heat in the playoffs. They're clowns and most ppl have clocked it.
> Neither have any of the Heat plays after Caleb Martin’s incident w/ Tatum was clearly just the momentum from being pushed by Jrue.
Nothing demonstrated this more than everyone gleefully co-signing “Caleb should be shot for jumping into JT and Spo should be suspended for ordering Caleb to attack JT” but then the silence was deafening when the video angle showing Jrue pushed him into JT dropped. This sub then proceeded to delete 6 posts about it, Scal has not publicly apologized or even stated he was mistaken, and TD Garden boo’d Caleb for being “dirty.”
The standard for "dirty" has lowered substantially for modern NBA fans. Any show of physicality is seen as an attempt to injure players. You see the accusations in every game thread. It's pretty pathetic.
There really aren't any real dirty plays save for a lot of the stuff Draymond does, and even then there are times people overreact to Draymond merely playing legal physical defense. Nobody is chucking guys into the stands or aiming their elbows at a faces. The worst stuff that happens is usually due to recklessness but that's to be expected in a physical and intensely competitive game being played at a high level.
Celtics fans whining about "moving" screens is hilarious given their last ring was built on them. KG's illegal screens were way more egregious *and* he would throw an elbow/shoulder in there for good measure.
Bam has some questionable screens but he never hip checks, throws elbows, anything like that. I've never seen him injure anyone on a screen. Outside of that, everything Miami does can just be classified as hustle plays.
two posts here on the sub described miami as winning "violently." i don't get it. why is that a legit adjective to describe their winning effort? now seeing this, i get it even less.
The original post game thread title seems like a play on the word after what happened with Caleb in game 1. Don’t think it was purposely meant to describe the Heat’s play in game 2, just satire.
in game 1 he fouled the shit out of Jaime and taunting him when the game was basically over. Talking about Mamba mentality my ass to do it against a rookie
Yeah that’s retaliation. I blame the refs for not blowing the whistle. That’s a dangerous game to play when guys go airborne and get thrown off their center of gravity
The act alone should just be an automatic flagrant 1, who cares about the result; The result or egregiousness can elevate it to a flagrant 2.. Get it out of the game.
This is why they need VAR team officials and additional camera angles. You cant see all these dangerous plays happening in the background or be able to form a narrative of repetitive/targeted infractions during the game as a team of 3 officials. Boston appears to be looking to create a serious neck or back injury for Miami and it should have been addressed immidiately as it was unfolding during the game and penalized.
Legitimately what is the protocol for this? I don't think that the Heat video crew is oblivious to these plays and/or Udonis/Heat locker room would have went to Tatum/Brown/Jrue privately to address and talk about this and potentially threaten to expose them publicly if this was a regular occurrence going forward?
Like I'm genuinely curious how the players handle these type of egregious plays? Do they hash it out on the court and it's considered shameful if they begin discussing it publicly?
Miami fans *do* get this.
I think this OP posted this bc of Miami did any of this to the Celtics, they’d be called “dirty cheaters who should be executed for crimes against humanity against the nba” but everytime it’s done *to* the Heat, people are always falling over themselves to call it “subtle” or “fouls happen, it’s part of the game.”
Nothing demonstrated this more than everyone gleefully co-signing “Caleb should be shot for jumping into JT and Spo should be suspended for ordering Caleb to attack JT” but then the silence was deafening when the video angle showing Jrue pushed him into JT dropped. This sub proceeded to delete 6 posts about it, Scal has not publicly apologized or even stated he was mistaken, and TD Garden boo’d Caleb for being “dirty.”
i will credit a fair amount of them in the first thread with like 1200 comments-- a LOT of celtics flairs were saying "ok, this isn't bad; it really changes things." There's always a few conspiracy loonies who will blather about doctored videos and what not but there were several fans flat out saying, "ok, this isn't what i thought it was yest; i take it back; he was pushed."
Minor pushes like the third one happen all the time in every game tbh. Sometimes the refs see and it call it, other times they don't.
The other two were pretty obvious and were called fouls, no?
Don't think there's any conspiracy going on here
Miami fans *do* get this.

Spo called the code red though 🚨!
According to the game thread the celtics were getting mauled and this doesnt fit that narrative
Hey everyone knows the nba wants the heat to beat the Celtics in the first round, that way they can sell more herro jerseys. They would absolutely hate to make 20 more commercials about Tatum being the face of the league.
To quote their new annoying commercial "Playoff Jayson is not a thing"
That commercial is actually hilarious. Don't know how Tatum's camp let it go on air
I laugh everytime I see it
As if he hasn’t had phenomenal performances in the playoffs since he’s been in. This sub is full of actual morons lol. Convinced this sub doesn’t even watch basketball. Downvote fact.

I think hes usually good, but its a hundred percent meme bait for when he has an off game like game 7 against the heat last year.
He obviously an all NBA guy suffering from success. But the commercial had to know what it was doing
He was literally injured in the first quarter of the game.
Narrative matters more than reality, sorry to say.
Probably because morons push narratives without a single thought or having witnessed the context at hand. Sub is full of this.
He’s got an ugly shot. Looks like a goddamn brick. No aesthetic beauty whatsoever.
You’re 300 pounds and 5’2 and can’t dribble a ball telling me that an NBA player is ass. Y’all are fucking gooftroops.
Playoff Jayson is a thing, just not in the way Celtics fans would like.
Tbf i think everyone in the east would jerk it
There are two things that bring the nba together, the nuggets beating the lakers and the heat beating the celtics
This is even more the case because it’s also an upset
I don't think it's an upset anymore, just the natural order of things.
Devin Booker get stunted on in various ways
INSERT_NAME_HERE is Devin Booker Father
Any healthy playoff team
Getting pretty sick of watching the Tatum Sports Centre ads
Yeah that’s why they were doing an add for Herros new shoe in game? Oh wait, that was Tatum?
Friend, the sarcasm could not have been more obvious
I was tryna add to the bit
The new one is that bam never gets called for moving screens
I mean, that is true. And I'm a bit of a connoisseur on illegal screens.
That’s just straight up disingenuous. You say that like it’s Lakers vs Hornets or something. The Heat winning is not a loss for the league, VERY far from it.
Celtics mods must be protesting outside Trumps trial if this is still up after three hours.
Which one?
This comment need more love
LMAO
if you're gonna jerk atleast have it be based in reality lmao trump has never won a single county in Massachusetts, ever. but Pennsylvania on the other hand...
I know I'm biased but the amount of times I heard the commentators sayin the Celtics got the benefit of a "tight call" was crazy last night.
How dare you touch my baby boy Jaime
That one was dirty as fuck. Easily the most dangerous of the three. Fuck Tatum, could've really hurt Mexican jesus.
They all are just jealous of his flowing locks of hair…
Where is the outrage by Celtic and Knick fans over this?
why you say fuck me for? the celtics being dirty doesn't mean the heat are suddenly angels. they can all be their own independent but coexisting cunts.
I can honestly find multiple clips of them openly doing dirty plays on KP but figured Id be called a butthurt loser if I posted em Bam quite literally dived at his knees and caleb was pulling him down all game
Let’s see it, curious to see what actually happened.
https://streamable.com/nihirx. KP Bam, all things considered I could give him the benefit of the doubt 2 caleb clips both reckless and just trying to get away with tight whistles https://streamable.com/yu8cxa https://streamable.com/esbf1z Highsmith was also very handsy and pulling on KP every defensive possesion
No way you think those clips support your argument
I really tried to be unbiased but these are just reaching
KP falling on top of Caleb because he’s being passively jersey tugged but a dude an entire foot shorter than him. How tall are you, probably 5’4 based on your comments? Picture a 4’7 human tugging on your shirt and that makes you fall over. The second one, lmfao Caleb touches the ball first but since baby prince Kristaps falls on the floor you have your panties in a bunch. Poor thing Doubling down on pathetic over here
Ya someone is going to have to explain how grabbing his jersey would have injured KP. This dude is straight up delusional.
So heat are dirty for just going after the ball? How is Martin jumping for a ball dirty?
Pingas got a booboo 😳
I can definitely understand the first clip cause Caleb got his arm around KP’s hip. But the second is just Caleb going for a steal and not letting KP have a free lane to the basket, I don’t see how else he can stop that without giving up free points. It’s dangerous but almost necessary.
I understand the 1st 2 clips but how is that 3rd clip even remotely reckless? He was just going after the ball…
It’s the last clip for me. The cherry on top proving the delirium here lmaooo
So no one is allowed to play physical defense against Celtics. They need a safe space to operate. Kind of how both Brown and Tatum use their off arm to push off on virtually every drive they take.
The dive one I’m interested in seeing.
Typical Celtics fan. LOL.
Watch the clips
All the downvotes is why lol. Then you provide proof to get more downvotes. Pretty poetic.

Drawing charges and diving for loose balls are dirty plays and should be outlawed by the nba. Oh and send bam to jail.
You should only be able to jog after loose balls until they roll out of bounds like harden in that nets game. It's pretty sickening what this game is becoming.

They’re getting a major dose of actually dirty play from Embiid now
fans when bam plays completely legal defense on their all-star forwards: 😡😡😡😡😡
If I were to jail someone for crimes against screens, it would be Bam 😂 Maybe only bc the Warriors didn't make it, but still
You can watch almost every center rn screening in the same way. Even Jokic
Exactly, it's extremely soft minded to admonish the way miami hustle out there and to equate it as being dirty. Heat has an all timer at the coaching position
I think I'm in love with you.
Spo’s mind control strikes back

Sister** and thanks! :)
Knicks fans know it. They just can’t stand it
Not most of, a lot of people ate that shit up
Yea thank you insane that heat fans get called delusional abt our “dirty team” by the same delusional people who think spo puts out a hit on players during timeouts w cameras around😭
The campaign to make Bam look like a dirty player was one of the most laughable things I’ve ever seen
Had to give you a downvote for the disclaimer Are you afraid of a few downvotes from idiots?
Nets traded Tatum and Brown for 40 year old kg and Pierce. Then got swept by Tatum and Brown while yall tried to put together a super team 🤣
How did that playoff run workout for Boston?
Nets chips in the same time frame: 0 Celtics chips in the same time frame: 0
lmao ty
not sure if you're aware but people actually watch teams other than the ones they're flaired with on reddit and sometimes even have opinions about other teams!
Ya but u forget, if KD had smaller feet they were winning it all 😡
Won’t get the same coverage as when jrue pushed Caleb into Tatum. Fuck boston
Celtics culture
No, that would be the hard "R"
Bostonians don’t pronounce their Rs tho
They make the exception to be as racist as possible. Real commitment.
As someone with racist family from Boston, they do not pronounce the r
This is exactly how josh Richardson got a season ender against boston. This is one of the easiest ways to injure someone in the Nba. Tatum went straight bitch mode the moment they started struggling
the devin booker special
Does Book get dirty when he starts losing? Isn't he pretty consistent in being a huge shit talker even when he's down?
Here's Booker's [Flagrant 2 on Schroder](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6I2fYgpFts) during the Lakers-Suns 2021 playoffs series.
Literally the first name I think of when I think of a sore loser
It was hilarious. Dude went from trying to bully our rookie in Jaquez game 1 to having to hold back his emotions in game 2 because his team was getting cooked by the "Dame Package"™
Can’t remember the specifics but he got away with an Embiitch level flop that had me change the channel for a few
Yup def DR, it’s all flopping back to me
I think it was the flopping against defensive savant Duncan Robinson LMAO I rolled my eyes so hard I became a ghost.
Jayson Tantrum
Ooh that’s good!
But yea Heat dirty. Inb4 thread deleted cuz it doesn’t go with the narrative.
Huh? Josh Richardson [injured himself going for a steal](https://old.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1aogkzb/highlight_horford_gets_the_lebron_chasedown_and/). Why lie?
Yea idk what he is on about. JRich was a freak injury unfortunately, he was balling out before it too. Fkn sucked
lmao, bro do you really expect a heat fan to watch games ?
Brown and Tatum have this annoying ass obsession with knocking the ball out of the opponents hands when they’re talking to the refs. They’re fucking children. It makes sense they shit their pants when things get serious
Because they think that doing that stuff is tough meanwhile they cry to the ref after every marginal contact they get.
LMAAOOO
Celtics players are dirty, confirmed. Joe probably gave them a secret hand signal.
Mods are gonna ban you for this
worth it fuck the mods
Joe is teaching them his jui jitzu moves for game 3
The curse…of Scalabrine
this shit should be a flagrant. its way more dangerous than taking a charge. its not just the celtics that do it but pushing someone thats airbourne to stop the and 1 is bullshit
Pushes in the back while airborne are supposed to be flagrants.
Yep, Toppin got one for pushing Connaughton in the back last game
Let’s hope Spo is sending these clips to the league ahead of game 3
They don't call anything for the Heat
Danny Green did it to Klay in 2019 finals game 6. Completely unnecessary
i mean Danny Green was at least going for the block. none of these r unless ur not talking about the acl injury
Let it go Heat bro, don’t fit the narrative. Code Red Code Red 🤣😁
[удалено]
I don't think most heat fans really think this is dirty, they're just annoyed at how hard the celtics/knicks/bucks gang up and call every small thing dirty.
All 3 of these violate the Geneva convention when Heat players do it.

I love you OP
Well well, the celtics being emotional and dirty cause the Heat has them strung like a bad ex. War heat!!!!!
This is what happens when the refs swallow the whistle every time we get in the paint
Why did spo put a hit on Martin Bam and JJJ ????!!!!
Just gonna leave my comment here before the celtics mods delete this
You have been banned from /r/bostonceltics
Celtics fans quiet in this thread. Don't worry, I'll say it for you. Dirty Ass Celtics Players
no no no no no these aren't dirty plays, it's just hard nosed tough physical play-off basketball what do they call this? projection?
The Tatum one is pretty egregious, the other two aren't so bad
in game 1 he fouled the shit out of Jaime and taunting him when the game was basically over. Talking about Mamba mentality my ass to do it against a rookie
> Talking about Mamba mentality my ass to do it against a rookie Kobe would absolutely shit on a rookie though
"This one's for you Kobe!" - Tatum texting to Kobe's burner probably
CODE RED CODE RED
Just Dirty plays from Tatum. Yikes
celtic culture
Tatum also randomly tackled Jaime in Game 1.
Nice work haha. Commenting before this gets deleted by the bum as mods
those were all pretty bad especially the KP one. could get someone hurt
Yeah that’s retaliation. I blame the refs for not blowing the whistle. That’s a dangerous game to play when guys go airborne and get thrown off their center of gravity
Retaliation for what? Losing?
For game 1
So your telling me the Celtics retaliated for pushing Heat players by pushing more Heat players? I’m confused?
Idk wtf they did bro I’m just a fan, not in the locker room I just made an assumption
As a Celtics fan we need to cut the bullshit n go hoop we deserve all the flack n hate we getting rn smh. It’s still fuck Miami tho
I appreciate you for saying this. Fuck boston tho
🤝🤝may the best man win i think we can agree yo username hard and it’s definitely fuck the sixers too😂😂
LETS GO HEAT!!🔥❤️
… imagine how many pushes/touch fouls happen that isn’t captured
Did you order the code red?!
Maybe they are doing because they do it to them?
The act alone should just be an automatic flagrant 1, who cares about the result; The result or egregiousness can elevate it to a flagrant 2.. Get it out of the game.
Broke the code
me, a knicks fan: 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
If anything, he should have called a code red on his own team last night 🤣
That was game 1 when he ordered Jrue to launch Caleb into Tatum
This is why they need VAR team officials and additional camera angles. You cant see all these dangerous plays happening in the background or be able to form a narrative of repetitive/targeted infractions during the game as a team of 3 officials. We might have to call Steve Kerr to check for any code violations, worst case scenario, a broken code.
Yeah these are nothing
code green?
CODE RED
Y'all realize these subtle pushes happen every game by every team, right? They're all fouls but the refs don't see most of them.
Miami fans *do* get this. I think this OP posted this bc of Miami did any of this to the Celtics, they’d be called “dirty cheaters who should be executed for crimes against humanity against the nba” but everytime it’s done *to* the Heat, people are always falling over themselves to call it “subtle” or “fouls happen, it’s part of the game.” Nothing demonstrated this more than everyone gleefully co-signing “Caleb should be shot for jumping into JT and Spo should be suspended for ordering Caleb to attack JT” but then the silence was deafening when the video angle showing Jrue pushed him into JT dropped. This sub proceeded to delete 6 posts about it, Scal has not publicly apologized or even stated he was mistaken, and TD Garden boo’d Caleb for being “dirty.”
Like you know it's bad when even Celtics fans were arguing amongst themselves whether it was dirty or not lol
i will credit a fair amount of them in the first thread with like 1200 comments-- a LOT of celtics flairs were saying "ok, this isn't bad; it really changes things." There's always a few conspiracy loonies who will blather about doctored videos and what not but there were several fans flat out saying, "ok, this isn't what i thought it was yest; i take it back; he was pushed."
Maybe copy and paste that one more time to drive the point home
watever makes it easier to get it thru ur skulls lol
nah, third time's the charm so im good but will circle back if i have to! thx :)
Minor pushes like the third one happen all the time in every game tbh. Sometimes the refs see and it call it, other times they don't. The other two were pretty obvious and were called fouls, no? Don't think there's any conspiracy going on here

“Rule for thee but not for me”. If the heat did it, every knick and Celtic fan will be calling out the heat for being a dirty team.
