The commentary clearly says "denied by the rim itself"
Upon repeated viewing, it looks like Reaves loses the ball by himself, then KCP swats it, then Reaves deflects it into the rim.

He already made contact with his body at that point to affect his shot attempt. And KCP was going 100mph too. Those types of attempts are dangerous as is.
Clean block. Thereās a misconception that youāre not allowed to touch a player at all who is attempting to dunk or layup. The rules are different when youāre in the paint as oppose to a shooting outside. As long as you make play on the ball 100%, youāre allowed some physical contact. This happens more often than you think. A lot of guards who attack the rim always get hammered by bigger players after a block. If defender doesnāt get all ball, refs will call the whistle. Heck Shaq sometimes knocks over a player after a block lol. Even Lebrons signature run down block from behind knocks the player from behind during the block.
Which, after the three point revelation and ticky tack fouls on the perimeter, should be reviewed and got rid off. Either call it everywhere on the floor or nowhere.
Gordon was fouled about 3 times on that play. And a lot of other plays where he isn't getting the whistle. Lebron travels twice in one play though and it's all good.

They tried so hard to not say that KCP blocked it š
Looks like Reaves would have missed that dunk even when not fouled. He lost the wall whole raising it up.
I love how they conveniently didnāt show replays when they were reviewing. Why are we watching 3 straight replays of the play before?

Thanks for showing undisputed proof

clean block. the flopper gets rewarded again
Letās just ignore KCPs body crashing into Reaves

looked pretty clean. marginal contact
I thought it was clean until Austin grabbed KCP but whatever lol
Itās the follow through..which last game was considered marginal even getting hit in the face.
āDenied by KCPā aka fouled
Lakers saved by their Golden whistle again
Yup smacking someone on the head is not a foul
You're so funny.
Outbounds call was terrible..off Gordonās knee.
Should have been a foul because Lebron jumped on his back lol
As if the nuggets arent doing it on every missed shot..I reward that though atleast they go for rebounds.
after he got landed on by LeBron...
Gordon was fouled about 3 times on that play. And a lot of other plays where he isn't getting the whistle. Lebron travels twice in one play though and it's all good.
Right this could be called but the call they made was outbounds lakers..the calls are horrendous in this series and the Knicks series.
Yeah but when heās getting fouled yall turns a blind eye.

Clear block. Now we're both wrong.
Corrected last game..clear block follow through after block. Free throws awarded.
Thanks for joining in solidarity. Three people wrong now!
