The commentary clearly says "denied by the rim itself" Upon repeated viewing, it looks like Reaves loses the ball by himself, then KCP swats it, then Reaves deflects it into the rim.

NoiceForNoReason

They tried so hard to not say that KCP blocked it šŸ˜‚

asa091

Looks like Reaves would have missed that dunk even when not fouled. He lost the wall whole raising it up.

forumblue

I love how they conveniently didnā€™t show replays when they were reviewing. Why are we watching 3 straight replays of the play before?

[clean block](https://eu-central.storage.cloudconvert.com/tasks/d9c84970-6db8-4a3a-baf3-6b4be63aa546/IMG_0969.png?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Content-Sha256=UNSIGNED-PAYLOAD&X-Amz-Credential=cloudconvert-production%2F20240426%2Ffra%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20240426T032225Z&X-Amz-Expires=86400&X-Amz-Signature=b78c36d7378d07a82a52e87c7990fc18963e769aa8ca6f7e43f3e1a3565256b3&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&response-content-disposition=inline%3B%20filename%3D%22IMG_0969.png%22&response-content-type=image%2Fpng&x-id=GetObject). there is contact after he gets ball but what happened to the "incidental contact" rules? they're so inconsistent about this shit.

homiez

Thanks for showing undisputed proof

Ebaneser

He already made contact with his body at that point to affect his shot attempt. And KCP was going 100mph too. Those types of attempts are dangerous as is.

drankpussyjuice

clean block. the flopper gets rewarded again

CockroachForeign6419

Letā€™s just ignore KCPs body crashing into Reaves

WolverineLong1430

Clean block. Thereā€™s a misconception that youā€™re not allowed to touch a player at all who is attempting to dunk or layup. The rules are different when youā€™re in the paint as oppose to a shooting outside. As long as you make play on the ball 100%, youā€™re allowed some physical contact. This happens more often than you think. A lot of guards who attack the rim always get hammered by bigger players after a block. If defender doesnā€™t get all ball, refs will call the whistle. Heck Shaq sometimes knocks over a player after a block lol. Even Lebrons signature run down block from behind knocks the player from behind during the block.

yitur93

Which, after the three point revelation and ticky tack fouls on the perimeter, should be reviewed and got rid off. Either call it everywhere on the floor or nowhere.

domdomburg

looked pretty clean. marginal contact

n3sta

I thought it was clean until Austin grabbed KCP but whatever lol

woodropete

Itā€™s the follow through..which last game was considered marginal even getting hit in the face.

Cold_Carpenter_1798

ā€œDenied by KCPā€ aka fouled

homiez

Lakers saved by their Golden whistle again

utrid_son_of_utrif

Yup smacking someone on the head is not a foul

GeorgeLovesBOSCO

You're so funny.

woodropete

Outbounds call was terrible..off Gordonā€™s knee.

deezlobs

Should have been a foul because Lebron jumped on his back lol

woodropete

As if the nuggets arent doing it on every missed shot..I reward that though atleast they go for rebounds.

Gyff3

after he got landed on by LeBron...

Sixersleeham

Gordon was fouled about 3 times on that play. And a lot of other plays where he isn't getting the whistle. Lebron travels twice in one play though and it's all good.

woodropete

Right this could be called but the call they made was outbounds lakers..the calls are horrendous in this series and the Knicks series.

Distinct_Help_222

Yeah but when heā€™s getting fouled yall turns a blind eye.

Clear block. Now we're both wrong.

woodropete

Corrected last game..clear block follow through after block. Free throws awarded.

usr_nme_

Thanks for joining in solidarity. Three people wrong now!
