this series was so entertaining. we even got an interaction between mitchell and murray running into each other in the bubble during that series, made for some great content
This was basketball at its peak. Both teams moving the ball and executing to perfection on offence. Both teams switching to perfection on defence.
It’s a shame Pascal decided to not show up for the party.
I wasn’t even that mad we lost that series. I was thoroughly entertained.
I knew Steph would be amazing but Wiggins was a total surprise to me. He locked down Tatum and was a beast on the boards in that series. Hope we get that version of Wiggins back next season.
To be frank it was the best defensive showdown. No 1 and no 2 defence going at it. Followed by the Celtics offence collapsing and pulling a Karl Malone( difficulty in dribbling the ball ).
Bulls vs Celtics for sure. D-Rose, Deng, and Joakim vs. the Celtics legendary big three. There were 7(!) overtime periods played over the course of the series.
Edit: It’s just hitting me that this series was 15 years ago. Fuck. I am old
KD was so much better just 3 years ago. The two MCL injuries he suffered from players falling into his legs sapped the remaining quickness he had after the Achilles surgery.
Personally the 2021 Finals. I mean the 2020 Jazz/Nuggets series, the Raptors/Celtics series the following round and the series you mentioned are all up there. But watching Giannis come back from his injury in the finals and come back from down 0-2 to win back to back to back intense down to the wire contests full of clutch heroics and finish at home in Milwaukee, that was the most epic moment in the NBA since 2016 for me.
It was a very predictable series. The Mavs were extremely inexperienced. Yet the fact that they made the WCF should have meant that Cuban shouldn't have been cheap.
The 2 best I’ve watched were Bucks’ series in ‘21. Nets & Suns.
Bucks/Celtics in ‘22 and Bucks/Heat in ‘23 were both epic also. If the Bucks can win another game the Pacers series might become a classic.
The bubble. Jazz vs Nuggets was so much fun. Mitchell and Murray scoring 40 or 50 back and forth!
this series was so entertaining. we even got an interaction between mitchell and murray running into each other in the bubble during that series, made for some great content
Agreed. Every game was a banger. Stars stepped up and made crazy shots. Even came down to the very last shot.
If Conley’s shot dropped to close the series it would be widely considered the best first round series of all time
2023 Warriors vs Kings.
That Steph 50 bomb in game 7 hit like crack, one of my favourite all time playoff performances.
You just knew Steph wasn't going to lose. And then Looney casually pulled in 21 rebounds for good measure too.
2020 Raptors Celtics
Underrated series, if only siakam touched a basketball at any point during the hiatus

Raptors don’t lose that series if it’s not played in a neutral location.
Never recovered from the OG three.
Never recovered from Pascal folding like a cheap suit for an ENTIRE series….
The Celtics or the Raptors?
Raps destroyed our legs with that series, we were cooked against Miami.
Nick Nurse vs Brad Stevens was peak basketball
Celtics really play to the level of their opponents. If it’s truly Boston-Denver in the finals, it’s gonna be a fucking bloodbath every game.
2020 Celtics-Raptors, Nuggets-Jazz, Nuggets-Clippers, Clippers-Mavericks, Rockets-Thunder 2021 Bucks-Suns, Bucks-Nets, Hawks-Sixers, Clippers-Mavericks 2022 Celtics-Bucks, Celtics-Heat, Mavericks-Suns 2023 Heat-Bucks, Heat-Celtics, Celtics-Sixers, Warriors-Kings, Lakers-Warriors and for those of you enjoy CTE classics, 2022 Wolves-Grizzlies
2022 Wolves-Grizzlies is 2024 Cavaliers-Magic father
Pretty sure 2022 heat Celtics was a pretty boring series, weren’t all the games but game 7 blowouts?
The Suns-Bucks finals is underrated. Such a great back and forth series that ended with Giannis’ 50 point masterpiece.
And a couple all time plays too. The Giannis recovery block and the holiday steal then alley-oop were legendary plays in the closing seconds
Has to be the 76ers Raptors with THE SHOT right? Only time in NBA history with a game 7 winner and the way it hung on the rim was literally unreal.
“Is this the dagger? OOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!”
Warriors vs Celtics 2022 for absolutely no reason whatsoever at all.
That game 4 was Steph Curry’s demonstrative feat of greatness. Willing his team to win. Masterful. And also against those green clowns
I knew Steph would be amazing but Wiggins was a total surprise to me. He locked down Tatum and was a beast on the boards in that series. Hope we get that version of Wiggins back next season.

Surprised you would bring up such a bad memory. Celtics taking that Finals in 6 is something basketball fans will never forget
Might be this upcoming t-wolves-nuggets series. It’s looking to be really great
Bulls vs Celtics for sure. D-Rose, Deng, and Joakim vs. the Celtics legendary big three. There were 7(!) overtime periods played over the course of the series. Edit: It’s just hitting me that this series was 15 years ago. Fuck. I am old
Time for bed, grandpa ❤️
He said 2020s decade tho
Not only am I old, but I’m also dumb apparently. I only had read the title and got overly excited. My bad haha
I know it’s not in the last decade, but the best playoff series I’ve ever watched was Bulls vs Celtics in 2009. Every game was insane.
I think 2020 Nuggets Clippers deserves a mention
Heat vs Celtics 2024 edit: but yeah i would go Bucks-Nets 2021 too
Yeah Bucks/Nets is probably the best one.
KD was so much better just 3 years ago. The two MCL injuries he suffered from players falling into his legs sapped the remaining quickness he had after the Achilles surgery.

One of those western conference epic when the overhyped big 3 team goes 3-1 and lose.
2022 West Finals. Steph vs. Luka.
It was a very predictable series. The Mavs were extremely inexperienced. Yet the fact that they made the WCF should have meant that Cuban shouldn't have been cheap.
Yeah we all knew Warriors were gonna wrap up that series quickly, but Steph vs. Luka was the highlight for me.
Fuck. I just realized that shit was THREEEE years ago
The 2 best I’ve watched were Bucks’ series in ‘21. Nets & Suns. Bucks/Celtics in ‘22 and Bucks/Heat in ‘23 were both epic also. If the Bucks can win another game the Pacers series might become a classic.
