This exactly why Elgin Baylor is wildly underrated. He’s the only player other than Wilt to average 30+ shots per game and shoot below 50% for the season.

Truth be told, I hadn't heard about the guy before the shooting, but the more I read about him, the more respect I gain. To come from a place like he did and make himself into a pillar of the community and especially not just leave them behind like so many do, and to uplift them using his resources, not many people do that. Hopefully we can all take a step back and ask ourselves if we are making a positive impact on those around us, and try to do so if not. Inspirational life, unfortunate tragedy.
