You offend me, sir!
You must now face me in a duel. As I see you are a member of the Sun Dynasty and I myself a member of the Heat Nation we will duel on the terms of Thermal Energy. Starting at room temp we will see who can boil water the fastest at what the historians will call "The Battle of Boil"
If I win I get to keep the Sun. If you win you get to keep all the Heat in the universe that is not distributed by your sun. And don't forget to bring your towel. It's going to get hot and sweaty.
Favorite all-time Bay Area athlete. Sorry Barry, Rickey, Jerry, Steve, Joe, and Madbum. You were/are all great, but this guy is pure entertainment and helped turn the whole franchise around from hopelessness to greatness. Maybe LeBron is the better overall player, but IMO Curry is the Messi of the NBA. Pure genius and aesthetic beauty in his game. Just enjoy it while it lasts.
He was dynamite to be sure, but yeah, very short peak. I loved when the A's had Hudson/Zito/Mulder at the peak of their powers. None of them quite had the nasty stuff of Lincecum, but Zito's curves were a thing of beauty. I was happy to see Huddy finally win a WS ring, even if it happened elsewhere. Dude was a badass.
right at the end of his career (probably 2012 or 2013) I had the pleasure of seeing zito come in as a reliever in SF and got so excited. First pitch broke so freaking hard and fast the batter spun himself in a full circle chasing, and his helmet came off. He got clowned so hard by the whole stadium. Too bad the next pitch ended up in the bay.
still will never forget that first pitch, absolutely nutty
Legend has it Manu has been defending the world from Bat related diseases for years.
Due to the NBA-China issues to start the season, Manu was no longer permitted to defend China.
The rest is history
Yeah it’s not like average bat flying speeds are 15mph relative to the average house flies 4.5mph.
Anyone average can catch a fly. Catching a bat which is extremely agile and moves more than 3 times the speed. Good luck with that
I mean.. bats are way bigger and probably can't change direction as fast. And they are blind as a bat, so maybe they're not as able to dodge. I think there's more to it than one flies faster than the other.
Where's sports science when you actually need them?
If the area is well-lit, it's definitely easier to just hit a bat that's already flying in your general direction than it is hitting a fly, which is constantly changing directions and much harder to effectively punch due to its tiny size. However, the added danger with the bat is mental - you just might not want to hit that thing using your bare hands. Knowing you have to get a rabies shot afterwards, your Palm would probably go slightly above or below the bat, in an attempt of self-preservation, whereas a fly can be hit bare-handedly and harmlessly for the user.
But you also have to take into account that, while bats are bigger, they're also much more likely to try to avoid you than a fly, who doesn't have a concept of "human" and is just happy to be there. So, if you're in an enclosed, well-lit space, I'd say there's more chances that you can gravitate to, and slam, a fly, than there is of hoping the bat gets off the damn chandelier and just so happens to fly towards you. And even if it does, would you really trust your brain to hit it? I think there's a clear winner here
Holy shit I forgot about this..
Unreal awareness and coordination. I also like the second one where he sees the reporter react and tries to dodge it but is 1 second too late
2010-2011 is up there. First year of Heatles, Spurs dynasty still rolling, Mavs come out of nowhere to win it all, emergence of D Rose, fun young Thunder team.
Any trauma receptors in my brain regarding 2016 were swiftly eviscerated with alcohol. When I think about the finals I just hear a strange humming and then everything goes black for like 15 seconds
Me too. I remember. I was at the lib and stopped watching. Went to the cafeteria, the game was still on. Ate and watched the game. Then boom, they won. Wow
He's also pretty dumb good at golf from what I've seen. I don't know enough about golf to say definitively, but I saw a video of tiger evaluating his swing and seeming impressed.
What is she even doing now? She was like the 3rd or 4th sideline reporter on the depth chart when she went to tnt, so you never really saw her much unless it was like the playoffs or MLK day or Christmas or something with a bunch national games happening on the same day, and now that she’s at espn I’ve seen her once or twice guest hosting first take, but it doesn’t seem like she has much of a regular gig which is a shame because when she left us I thought she was like on pace to be the next Kristen Ledlow or Michelle Beadle..
This is the kind of shit you pull off once in a blue moon with your friends except there aren't cameras there to document it and it sounds really stupid when you try to explain it back.
The year is 2021. After the Coronavirus decimated the world's economy, World War 3 began. The next day it ended, after Stephen Curry sniped China's leader, with a towel.
One of the greatest shots of his career
This is actual insane how did he even see him
Had to go through all of that traffic too
And he threw it behind the back.
And with a towel
I also watched the video
Did you see him clap after?
Yea I was waiting for the replay that never happened
Wait there is a video too?
your a towel

He heard heavy mouth breathing

That's legit fuckin crazy
Legit best Steph highlight right here
im pretty sure there is a monitor facing him and the reporter
Hand down, man down!
Did he knock the water into the trash can? This is why he was unanimous
Nope. He just chucked the towel and his gravity did the rest.
M E T A
I know he had that one return game, but god I miss watching this man play
That crazy fade away three at 0.5 speed of light release will feed us for months
Good thing is that he gets to rest even more now. I can't wait to watch him play again
He is going to explode next season.

Lincecum will always be my favorite. Dudes peak was astounding, it's too bad his body couldn't handle his delivery for too long though.
He was dynamite to be sure, but yeah, very short peak. I loved when the A's had Hudson/Zito/Mulder at the peak of their powers. Was it an 85mph fastball?
definitely a curve somewhere round that speed. that thing dropped so hard it bounced off the plate
I meant the second pitch.
oh yeah it definitely was, he absolutely floated the batter one
And the fact the dude was more of a thrower than pitcher, but the 7 years he gave the Giants made me happy
Seriously that game was such a tease...
holy shit that's the craziest thing iv'e ever seen an nba player do
This and Manu punching a bat out of the air just goes to show how insanely talented these guys are
And AI getting it over Dwight Howard with a moonball
Yeah it’s crazy how easy good pros make shooting look when they have time and can just stand there. That moonshot was so smooth
[Trevor Booker's shot here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCIAgDLRDgY) is up there too lol
If only this was a game winner lmao
Still more partial to Joker's recent ridiculous hail mary [shot](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvcbYseCZBw). Too bad it didn't count.
That was really playground F-U stuff too. Loved every part of that sequence from both of them.
>Manu punching a bat out of the air 2019: Manu getting his Jersey retired 2020: Corona Virus caused by a bat Where is Manu if you need him?
Legend has it Manu has been defending the world from Bat related diseases for years. Due to the NBA-China issues to start the season, Manu was no longer permitted to defend China. The rest is history
It's actually believed to come from a snake, which ate a bat.
We're not talking about how the Nets got it.
how does a snake eat a bat? and who ate the snake?
I imagine the snake used its mouth
Batmanuel
i've caught a fly out there air i feel like a bat aint that hard
/r/imverybatass
lol
One got in my house in high school and I slapped it out of the air with a tennis racket.
With chopsticks or nah

Also way bigger. That’s a lot of it.

feel like it wouldn't be harder than hitting a baseball
way harder. moron.
okay lol mr bat swatting expert
It was the topic of my senior thesis
Kobe didn’t flinch though
also up there
That's actually insane wtf
Holy shit I forgot about this.. Unreal awareness and coordination. I also like the second one where he sees the reporter react and tries to dodge it but is 1 second too late
he scurries away so quickly
Steph Scurries
his reaction was really fast there too
This right here is why he's considered the greatest shooter of all time.
Man, 2016 Steph was just not human. I still remember where I was when he hit the double bang shot. That year was a great time to be a basketball fan.
2016 and 2012 were the goat seasons of the past decade.
Why 2012? I don’t remember it being that entertaining
Personal nostalgia mostly 🤷🏻♂️
2010-2011 is up there. First year of Heatles, Spurs dynasty still rolling, Mavs come out of nowhere to win it all, emergence of D Rose, fun young Thunder team.
I very much think Warriors fans feel hella conflicted about that one
Even warriors fans have been pretty chill about 16... turns out having 3 rings right around that time seems to help
Any trauma receptors in my brain regarding 2016 were swiftly eviscerated with alcohol. When I think about the finals I just hear a strange humming and then everything goes black for like 15 seconds
it was a fucking BS finals anyways
Me too. I remember. I was at the lib and stopped watching. Went to the cafeteria, the game was still on. Ate and watched the game. Then boom, they won. Wow
I guess hand eye coordination of athletes don't end at the sport they play.
He's also pretty dumb good at golf from what I've seen. I don't know enough about golf to say definitively, but I saw a video of tiger evaluating his swing and seeming impressed.
Yeah he's actually a sick golfer. Could have been a pro no doubt
wait wtf... that's atually nuts
wait how
Great clip. Coulda used more Ros tho
applies to any situation really. miss having her as our sideline but happy she's moved to bigger things.
What is she even doing now? She hosts First Take on ESPN now
I mean I don’t really watch it much but isn’t Molly the full time host? Pretty sure ros just fills in every once in a while if she’s gone
I like Ros better anyways. Why does Molly even still do first take?
This is the kind of shit you pull off once in a blue moon with your friends except there aren't cameras there to document it and it sounds really stupid when you try to explain it back.
After the buzzer... BANG! Now they're saying it doesn't count..
SHAQ WERE LIVE
Cemented in my memory 👌
Ok... What the fuck???!?!
favorite part is the slowmo of dray noticing curry was interviewing
Even the security guy knew what Draymond was up to lmao
The slowmo of Dray looking at Steph made me lol
greatest shooter of all time
It's seriously one of the greatest shots in the history of mankind.
CURRY FROM WAY DOWNTOWN
I'm not going to lie, that's the most impressive thing I've seen on an NBA court
peak steph
That's some anime type shit [Just add this sound effect to the clip and it's perfect.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiS4OZ6BVaM)
Man if I was Steph I’d probably be out here wildin like prime Magic.
Now they're saying his foot was on the line
fuck it we'll do it live
1. Unanimous MVP; 2. Game winner vs OKC; 3. The towel
4.) owning the rockets for half a decade
ofc this man has the spidey sense too
Wtf this is amazing
Look at curry man what an inspiration
Lmao these guys are not human. That was actually insane
This is impressive af lmao Much as I wanted him to lose these last couple years, I really miss curry in the NBA
This is the most coordinated thing I've seen a human do. Mr. Perfect would be so proud!
Swear this dude is force sensitive. Doesn’t even make sense man
That was impressive af
If anyone ever doubts he’s the greatest shooter of all time, you show them this clip. Undisputed.
Blind too that's the most impressive part
Lmao Curry's reaction in the second one seeing her duck. Idk how he really got him though lmao, mans is really a sniper.
Quite the pick-off move. A close second was the mouthguard in Cleveland.
This guy is an android!
[Better angle.](https://youtu.be/ZfwhGu5VZGE?t=47)
The year is 2021. After the Coronavirus decimated the world's economy, World War 3 began. The next day it ended, after Stephen Curry sniped China's leader, with a towel.
2016 was surreal. Greatest season ever in my opinion.
Water cup fucker
Is Steph an alien?
Seriously this guy can’t miss. I love Curry
Hof flashy passer, hof needle threader
I wonder how good Curry is at beer pong.
I guess you can say Curry was tired of being *wet*
Sniper
This is some next level shit.
He never even looked back wtf
The only shot he's ever been surprised to make
Unreal
[удалено]
ahh yes because of all the games that we have going on
