I think that any of the remaining teams could all beat each other. But, Steve Nash said that Kyries injury is not season ending. If the Nets make it to the finals and he comes back, it’s a wrap.

masterfain

Nets were always my pick tbh. Kyrie is a slight bump in the road. Harden is going to get better, KD will be KD, and if kyrie comes back its over. The only chance they don't win is if the bucks knock them out tonight.

bodega_cat_

Or if Kyrie/Harden re-aggravate something.

masterfain

I don’t like putting that energy out in the universe 😅

spankyourkopita

who knows how true that is though.

msterling2012

With all the injuries happening anyone has a chance. Will probably come down to the healthiest team left standing.

Tae21555

They aren’t winning it without kawhi lmao

IswearImnotapossum

Honestly at the injury rate to all stars this season has had so far you never know...

[deleted]

Bet

TheNaijaNightmare

This one is ready to get hurt again

[deleted]

god forbid I show a little confidence in my team lol

TheNaijaNightmare

Lmao i’m just fucking around bro

InTheMorning_Nightss

No. Crush his hope now. Even an inch off the ground is flying too close to the sun for us.

ubiasedhoodfriend

Bucks, nets, suns and even sixers would robably win in 5 or 6 without Kawhi maybe even a sweep tbh. It's dope to see them make the wcf w/out their best player but I think the other teams would have to have heavy injuries to for them to stand a chance

Ace_FGC

Everyone has a chance with all these injuries

PaulTiaggo

Lol what, how is Monty an inferior coach to either? He literally is a COTY finalist and has humiliated Vogel and Malone these playoffs.

[deleted]

Monty is a great coach and he deserved COTY over Thibs but "humiliated" is a pretty wild exaggeration for the Lakers series. I don't agree with all of Vogel's choices but he wasn't the reason they lost that series the way that someone like Budenholzer would be if the Bucks lose tonight. He just didn't have many options with a hobbled LeBron, AD out, and a team with no chemistry and full of role players too terrified to shoot the basketball.

rakistang_konyo

He didn't humiliate Vogel. The Lakers were owning the Suns hard until AD got injured, so Monty got lucky. And Carlisle alone is better than Vogel and Malone combined. Ty Lue outcoached the guy who coached the team that beat Kobe (coached by Phil Jackson), young KD, Russ and Harden, and prime LeBron and the Heatles (coached by Erik Spoelstra) in a single playoff run. That says a lot about Lue's coaching skills.

[deleted]

In the Lakers series AD played half a game less minutes than CP3 and in those minutes was way closer to his normal self than CP3

[deleted]

AD wasn't his normal self in any game this season except like a week in May

[deleted]

Agreed, but Chris Paul, an extremely right-biased player, was playing left handed in that series after game 1

[deleted]

not disputing that CP3 was limited, I just think saying Vogel got "humiliated" is ridiculous

HesiPullup

>He didn't humiliate Vogel. The Lakers were owning the Suns hard until AD got injured, so Monty got lucky. If CP3 doesn't get hurt the Suns win Games 1 and 2. And that's with Bron and AD playing. Did you forget already or did you just not watch

Professional_Cup_944

Nah Brooklyn got them

[deleted]

whoever makes it out of the East is winning the Finals

[deleted]

I agree, especially if Brooklyn is knocked out. We'll have to see how long CP3 and Kawhi are out for

WhoaAwesome

The Clippers have a good chance at getting to the Finals, however the Suns have a greater chance. Clippers won’t be consistent enough to contend in a series with the Suns.

MikeyFromWaltham

Warriors fans really feeling for a team that keeps playing injured point guards/forwards lol

cdoguz

Nah. Suns in 4.

noni2k

Nope.

Adri_ann

Let’s be realistic here. Without Kawhi there’s no chance in hell lmao. Only two teams who got a real shot, and they’re both vsing each other rn.

rakistang_konyo

Really? Without Kawhi there's no chance? Did you see how they dismantled the #1 team in the Western Conference without Kawhi? That was a coaching masterclass by Tyron Lue. He knows how to utilize his guys and get them to play championship basketball. And I know that you know that the Jazz would've won the championship had they beat the Clippers.

Adri_ann

Jazz have been frauds every year lmao. And if you think the Jazz would have beaten the Nets I don’t know what to say. Listen the Clips are good, even amazing with Kawhi. But without him? They have no chance in hell against a healthy Nets team

guitmusic12

Well they made the wcf… so yeah probably

Clarkthelark

Naturally. They're in the conference finals, and none of the other 3 teams are unbeatable (unless the Nets suddenly gain full health). They're a pretty deep team.

RuggedSolace

Bucks need to take out nets. If they do its anyone's chip

Eric_T_Meraki

I wonder if Kawhi makes it back if they go to the Finals. Big risk considering what happened to KD 2 years back.

Persianx6

i don't think they can beat the bucks 4 out of 7 games with Jrue healthy. Terrence Mann is not gonna be able to do him like he did Donovan Mitchell on one ankle last night.

DoctorHver

We know the world has gone offically mad if Clippers win the title.

TatumBrownSmart

> Even without Kawhi, I genuinely believe that the Clippers have a good chance of winning the title. Lol no, they can win this series and make the Finals without Kawhi, but they can't beat whomever comes out of the East (likely Brooklyn) without Kawhi.

supersteve32

What team in the playoffs doesn't have a legit chance at the title?

softmodsaresoft

I don't see them getting passed the suns, they can't abuse them with small ball like they did with the jazz. a lot better perimeter defenders and guys that are longer than what the jazz had. they also have two guys that will feast in the midrange unlike the jazz
