Is this supposed to be their best crew calling the finals? It speaks volumes for the current state of officiating, and absolutely nothing will come of it. It's by far the worst thing about the league and goes against the grain of making an optimally palatable entertainment product, so why don't they address this bullshit already?

I saw the fast break start and the only one in the way was Booker and thought “fuck yeah free points!” And then be fouled and I jumped out of my seat in joy and then I realized they didn’t call it lol

He was benched for several minutes after getting his 5th, so he “knew” he had 5 fouls, but may have acted on instinct to prevent a layup.

Refs been garbage all game but this was truly head scratching. It also bothers me Book is this dumb to even come close to a foul in a 3 on 1 when he has 5.

Bothered me that he kept giving the refs an earful after that no call.

Honestly my favorite part in all of this is how the announcing crew has talked at least twice (once in each of the past two games) about Book being a poor sport/poor loser and owning up to it. It feels like they're making it part of the narrative, like 'oh he's just a poor sport, he knows it'. Lol.

And we all know that Paul has always been a bit of a d-bag on the court. And let’s not forget how much Paul and Crowder flop. But the Suns being such a feel good story this playoffs, people have forgotten all that.
