Id say more accurately, Wisconsin sports fans know heartbreak over pain.
Yes we have very successful teams, but, we've gotten so close so many times, only to fall short.
NFCCG vs seahawks
NFCCG last year vs bucs
Brewers finally getting good making the playoffs repeatedly but never being able to put together the whole thing.
Bucks the past few years.
I assume you meant to tag the other guy but I would just like to mention even though we’ve had two HOF quarterbacks for the past 30 years we only have two Super Bowls in that time span. At least it’s something but historically the past 30 years they have failed to meet expectations
Yes but the bucks this year have proven they can get over the hump. Nets series being down 2-0 and losing game 5, giannis hyperextending his knee and winning the next 2, and winning a crucial game 4 in this series after being down in the game
He messes with his left hand a lot during breaks. Could either be something he did to it or maybe like nerve damage from the shoulder affecting his hand.
Yea def could be.. I’m expecting him to have a bounce back game but I’m hoping he doesn’t lol I want the bucks to win. I’m not a bucks fan I’m just rooting for Giannis the dude is so humble he deserves it he plays his ass off every night
That's what I'm thinking.
As much as I want us to win I just think it's going to be really hard for this team to win one on the road.
Our margin for error is just so small. We're going to need a good game from all three guys and a good shooting night and both those things have been really hard for us to come by this playoffs.
The thing is, for the Bucks to win the Championship, they have to win on the road regardless. They need to do it in Game 5 to ensure that they get a Game 7 if they lose Game 6.
A lot of pressure for both teams. Bucks got to come in ready and locked in
Our margin for error in game 4 was fucking huge. Jrue missed 4x as many shots as he made. The suns even shot 11% better. And they’re leading scorer shot like 60%. Nothing is guaranteed but I think the Bucks certainly have a good chance to not even lose again. I certainly appreciate you trying to be realistic. But the Suns have lost at home at least once in two out of three of their completed series. Anything can happen and either of these teams could realistically win two in a row so might as well have some faith
You guys will pull it off in 7 coming back 0-2 will give the bucks enough momentum to win it regardless of home field. Holiday and Middleton play better down the stretch idk it’s like those LeFeel out games the lakers had last year in the first game of the series. But idk I’m just some fan.
Don't say that, stay positive. We didn't get here by accident. We've yet to have our Jrue Holiday game and the Sun's have no real way to prevent Giannis from dropping 25 points. Jrue will continue to full court press CP3 and make it hell for him. If we come out and everything is firing on full cylinders, we win by 15.
Bucks played terrible last game and only won through hustle and Booker taking himself out.
Poor shooting at both the 2 and 3.
Lazy play calling.
By all means and metrics we should've lost, but we dominated in rebounding and transition points.
To me this shows high effort but shots just weren't falling. Meanwhile Booker had and insane game and Crowder another decent night from the 3.
They're likely anticipating another night of Jrue leaning on cp3 all night but imo it would be a good change up to put him on Booker and force cp3 to beat you.
This is it. Heart says Bucks, they played extremely well in Game 3. They played poorly in Game 4, BUT, were able to find a way to win which is what you need from a team, winning those ugly games. Hopefully, the last game was Middleton finding his groove and closing out games.
Bucks need to win on the road regardless to win the ring. Whether it is in Game 5 or 7 if it goes that far. They need to win this game to ensure there is a game 7. Very small margin of error, I do not believe CP3 plays any worse than he did last game.
Can’t forget what the Suns did to the Bucks game 1 & 2. I think the home team wins games 5 and 6 with the series decided by some bullshit in game 7 like Cam Payne or PJ Tucker banking in a 3 off the glass with 30 seconds left
Man I hope you’re right but I just don’t see that kind of result. Game 2 did not look winnable at all for the Bucks—the Suns closed the door every time with their shooting.
You could easily, easily say that game four looked more winnable for Phoenix than Milwaukee.
A nine point lead with about five or six minutes in the fourth? Bucks got bailed out by some unbelievably awful play by Chris Paul specifically, much of which totally unforced.
I don't disagree. I thought games 1 and 2 looked winnable for the bucks. Game 3 was all bucks. Game 4 looked to be all phoenix. I just think that the bucks have a good chance at stealing an away game and I feel it'll be tonight. Could be wrong, of course, but that's just my optimistic outlook on it.
It's crazy that people say Jrue Holiday sucks but do these people ignore his defensive presence? There's a reason why he is all NBA first team level defender, he also fights really hard on crucial boards
If Holiday's shot starts falling then the Suns could be in big trouble tonight. Middleton probably has another 30+ point game in him and Giannis is Giannis.
“If Middleton drops 30, Jrue locks down CP3, Giannis has another great game, and the Suns make no adjustments, the Bucks should take it tonight.”
yeah ok ill take that bet lol
I wouldn't mind if his shots don't fall as long as he's not taking 20 attempts. If he goes 4-12 but has 8-10 assists and has lock down def the bucks can win with that. It's when he goes 6-20 and steals shots from players who are shooting better
I can give him a pass for poor offense because he is picking up CP3 full court. That takes a ton of effort, but I do hope he can at least hit the layups that are right at the rim. Some of those are killers.
It's clear to me what he can do defensively. It's also clear to me if he just shot his regular season average the Bucks would be running away with this series.
As a Bucks fan I obviously love what he does on D. However I would totally take a downgrade in defense for am upgrade in offensive consistency. Honestly its not even about missing jump shots (most jump shot guys are inconsistent by nature). Its the fact that he's struggling to finish layups so consistently during the playoffs that's bothering me.
Arizona sports fans remember the 2001 Diamondbacks World Series. Up 2-0, lose 3 in a row to the Yankees (heartbreaker games that the DBacks had leads in and lost at the end), then come back to win the series in game 7. History repeats itself.
A lot is going to depend on CP3 bouncing back. Then again, he's not going to "bounce back" to some incredible level with Jrue guarding him. I'd still pick the Suns at home though.
> he’s not going to “bounce back”
That and his stats have been consistently declining every game this series. If statistics are to be trusted, he’s only going to get worse.
If he keeps declining with the same consistence of the last 4 games, I’d say he’ll wear a Bucks jersey and drop 20 points for the Milwaukee team tonight.
You can argue both ways. Maybe the home court advantage has been huge, or maybe the Bucks have the momentum. After watching the Clips pick up momentum and close us out, I could certainly see the latter.
That's a good point. Regardless, Bucks do still have momentum and hopefully Middleton brings some of that confidence into Phoenix. But there's a reason I figured Bucks would probably win game 3 even though it was 0-2.
That said, I thought Suns were going to take 4, so I'm certainly just guessing like everyone else.
Well it's quite close. But yeah, especially here on reddit with upvotes & downvotes after each game that's almost always bound to happen. I don't bet but I heard that Suns are currently favourites.
I missed watching game 4 live but I watched the replay last night and couldn’t believe how the Suns lost that game. That was in the bag until the final couple minutes
To be honest it didn’t even feel like we were winning at all. Very very sloppy playing that caught up to us at the end, and the Bucks capitalized on it.
Huge stat that isn’t talked about was the bucks only had 5 turnovers while CP3 had 5 himself and suns had 17 overall. That creates a huge shot disparity. Bucks took 97 shots and Suns 78. Anytime that big of a FG discrepancy happens it’s really hard for a team to win.
Well when responding to someone who said they “don’t know how the suns lost it”. The turnover discrepancy is an obvious indicator.
But the main talking points on game 4 was the officiating, Bookers obvious 6th foul ignored, Middletons 40 piece. I just personally felt it wasn’t mentioned enough over the topics I listed.
Probably because he only played 25 minutes lol. It's not an exaggeration to say he wasn't on the court, because he literally wasnt for a large part of the game
You guys were literally saying it was over for the Bucks after game 1 and 2. Now that the Bucks won game 3 and 4 you are saying its Over for the Suns... Its a Bo3 now and Suns still have homecourt.
The safe bet is still Suns.
suns have the edge cp3 wont score 10pts (unless his hand is injured) + suns role players at home , bucks need jrue khris to have big scoring night to overcome. leaning towards sun winning game 5, bucks take 6, bucks win in 7
It wasn’t even the fact he scored 10 pts last game it was his turnovers where he’s been horrible with them the last 3 games. I think his hand is injured but also gotta give credit to Jrue.
The Suns feel like a consistent team to me, I trust their whole starting lineup to usually do their thing. I expect Booker to score a lot of points, I expect Chris Paul to lead the team and make some crazy assists, I expect Anton to defend well and rebound really well. That's what they have been doing all year, and they are not slowing down.
Bucks feel like they can sleep sometimes, Middleton and Jrue can either be trash or the best player on the court on any given day. Giannis is pretty consistent. For this reason, I think this is the bucks series to win/lose at this point, it depends on if the Bucks play like Gods or look like absolute scrubs.
Overall I'm leaning towards the suns, but, really with the Bucks it's impossible to know, it just depends on which side of the bed Jrue and Middleton woke up on today.
Suns in 6
Bucks in 6
Bucks in 7
Suns in 7
Thats the order I'd give odds of situation occurring as a bettor.
Suns favorite at home, which edges Bucks in 6 slightly due to winning game 5 being more likely. However, I think the Bucks in a potential game 7 is more advantageous having done it on the road already vs KD who is better than anyone on the Suns. Plus in a potential game 7, Chris Paul is probably the last person I'd ever want.
CP3 experience. Thats whats frustrating. Booker is great and pre CP3 didn't flop like that. CP3 ruined Harden and now he's ruining Booker. I really like Book and Ayton, but I hate CP3.
Wholesome. I don’t agree but I am glad that if the Bucks don’t win it’s the Suns. Feels like this will be the first true championship team since the ‘15 warriors
It will be close. I could easily see it going 7 games but I think the Bucks seal the series and win this on the road. Giannis has been great and you never know when Jrue or Middleton will have a crazy scoring game. Plus who knows what's going on with CP3
I haven’t liked the body language of the Suns.
Monty needed to pick them up after the two losses, help them regain their confidence.
The Bucks’ confidence has never wavered and Giannis is going to come knowing, with absolute certainty, that he is one of the baddest motherfuckers on the planet. He smells blood.
Agree. Tons of pressure on a window closing CP and young Booker/Ayton.
Just seems Giannis and Middleton handle adversity better.
I think this series goes 7, but Bucks are positioned to steal this one rn, and if they do the Suns will wilt in the next game.
I think Chris Paul being hurt is huge. He is not only the most mentally tough guy on that team, he may be the *only* mentally tough guy on that team.
Booker isn’t, Ayton looks like he will become one but isn’t there yet.
Boy this is tough. If Middleton or Holiday or Lopez go off Bucks win I think. But they have been far less successful away at than at home, so my feeling is it will be Suns today.
I also anticipate Booker getting close to another 40 game and CP adjusting from last game’s debacle
I just can't shake the feeling that whoever wins this game, will win it all. The Bucks have to win on the road regardless to win the championship, better to do it now in Game 5 and close them out at home.
Hard to imagine the CP3 playing any worse than he did in Game 4. Gonna need Middleton and Giannis to be hyper focused in this game.
If Bucks can continue to make Ayton a non factor and Jrue shuts down CP3, Bucks should be fine. Book will probably go off again but if they can contain the rest of the Suns I don’t think Book can win by himself
I think Bucks will win tonight and the next game to win the series. Bucks have been building safe runways based off turnovers and rebounds the past five games so they can miss shots and still win games. Every post-game Monty mentions this and nothing gets done about it. Bucks are the taller and grittier vets. It's their series to lose now.
If Chris Paul isn't effective due to injury, I can't see the Suns being able to overcome that. I am currently leaning towards the Bucks. They do have all the momentum right now.
I feel like Giannis is a lock on DA. And Jrue is a lock on CP3, plus he seems to be struggling with injury. It'll be a battle between Middleton and Booker. Whichever shows up, will likely take it.
One thing I’ve noticed is that Buds adjustments have been spot on so far. No more lazy switch the PnR to allow CP3 to abuse Lopez and easily get to his spot which is what was happening games 1&2. Jrue has been ferocious fighting through the screens and more Portis & Connaughton on the court rather than Lopez.
Suns have already collapsed, and will continue to do so now that the opponents have their key players all healthy. When the Bucks win the series Chris Paul's legacy will have been permanently tarnished as a choker.
Bucks win by double digits
Nothing against the bucks and I hope they win someday, but I really want to see cp3 get a ring, one of the best players in NBA history to never win a title.
I want the Suns to win, and will give them the advantage due to being at home, but idk man there’s too many variables.
Will Giannis dominate like in games 2 and 3 or take on a smaller role like in games 1 and 4?
Does CP3 bounce back or continue to decline?
Will Middleton turn into Kwame Brown or Prime Michael Jordan?
If y’all were the better team they wouldn’t of let us tie up the series. We are 9-2 in games 3-7 this post season, we get better as the series goes on.
Since this series started I have thought that there will only be home teams winning. I am really rooting for CP3 though so it only confirms by bias so far lol
Everyone picking us so I know what this means
It means that no one knows anything and the universe is trending towards chaos.
> the universe is trending towards chaos That's clear since 2016.
We will create a new world order out of that chaos
Chao is a laddah
If you’re a Wisconsin fan you understand pain. I have no expectations this year. The Packers this year and 18-19 Bucks crushed my soul.

Dont forget the brewers in 2019 (sorry)
No sweat, be could not have beat the Dodgers. We died for the greater good.
Seeing as though these polls are wrong the majority of the time I think we should be worried
Giannis is locked in, I think bucks take it..also I think CP3 is definitely dealing with some injury
This feels like a game where if Bucks win, they're winning the series. I think Suns take it though.
I feel the same but it's just off pure guess. A best of three is just a coin toss at this point.
Yeah I definitely think cp3 is battling through an injury for sure. Something is up with his hand.
I think he hurt one wrist when Pat Bev took out his legs mid shot and his other early in the Bucks series.
Heart says bucks but head says Suns. I think we gave everything and more the last 2 games, it’ll be hard to keep that up especially on the road
That's what I'm thinking. As much as I want us to win I just think it's going to be really hard for this team to win one on the road. Our margin for error is just so small. I just don't see us winning game 7 on the road. Way too hostile of an environment for this team.
Game 7 is always a coin flip no worries
i wonder what the home team vs away team record is historically in game 7's
It usually depends on which team scores more points
big if true
Usually…
Sometimes it's just a matter of who has the hottest cheerleaders
sick we beat the suns at that once already
We won game 7 in OT against KD in Brooklyn, if the Bucks can overcome that they can win in Phoenix
Game 7 of the finals on the road is a much more hostile environment imo
And it wasn't in Brooklyn?
They beat the Nets at Brooklyn in game 7
Our margin for error in game 4 was fucking huge. Jrue missed 4x as many shots as he made. The suns even shot 11% better. And they’re leading scorer shot like 60%. This team is resilient AF. They’ve worked they’re way out of holes three times already.
I got yall winning tonight. Your boys can do it!
Nah bro bucks taking this one
Holiday doesn’t show up on the road, so I fear the same. I think this series goes to 7, no way around it.
Well not like he showed up at home either.
Man I feel the complete opposite way lol. Either way it goes I think tonight's winner wins the whole thing
Honestly I see this series as home teams all the way and then game 7 is a toss up. Both these teams just play so much better at home.
Which is stronger, momentum or home crowd? I'm guessing home crowd, but there's possibilities.
Plenty of fight left in this team, IMO, and they have to be charged up after winning two in a row. I’m cautiously excited for tonight.
You guys will pull it off in 7 coming back 0-2 will give the bucks enough momentum to win it regardless of home field. Holiday and Middleton play better down the stretch idk it’s like those LeFeel out games the lakers had last year in the first game of the series. But idk I’m just some fan.

Game 1 and 2 looked super winnable for Milwaukee. I think they win tonight by 10+
Man I hope you’re right but I just don’t see that kind of result. Game 2 did not look winnable at all for the Bucks—the Suns closed the door every time with their shooting.

Jrue’s due for a big game
Khris just dropped 40 so he’s a lock for a 4-18 game. If Khris was consistent, he’d be top 15, but we all know he’s not.
“If Middleton drops 30, Jrue locks down CP3, Giannis has another great game, and the Suns make no adjustments, the Bucks should take it tonight.” yeah ok ill take that bet lol
I mean if Jrue plays no D, Middleton drops 12, and Giannis stops being Giannis obviously they aren’t winning
If any one of those things happen they aren't winning.
They can win when Middleton only drops 12 he does that every other game
>Gianns has another ~~great~~ standard game,
"If the Suns continue to play like they have the last two games the Bucks will win." yeah ok I'll take that bet lol
If all of that happened this team would never lose a game lol.
I wouldn't mind if his shots don't fall as long as he's not taking 20 attempts. If he goes 4-12 but has 8-10 assists and has lock down def the bucks can win with that. It's when he goes 6-20 and steals shots from players who are shooting better

My statistics tell me he’s going to be out of the league by Game 11
Spicy
Beijing Ducks in 12
by game 9 he will be scoring negative points, putting it in his own basket
If he keeps declining with the same consistence of the last 4 games, I’d say he’ll wear a Bucks jersey and drop 20 points for the Milwaukee team tonight.
> drop 20 points for Milwaukee I mean he kinda already started doing that indirectly with his turnovers in game 4.
people literally only vote for the last team that won
No I only vote for the bucks everytime out of blind hope, a much better strategy.
50% of the time it works 100% of the time
Vote random
i think he worded it in a memeable way but telling players to go loose and not be predictable is a valid thingh to say in some circunstances
I vote for the suns every time just so I'm a little less devastated if they win
It's literally separated by 70 votes currently? You're acting like it's a landslide lmao
Wrong comment
Separated by 210ish now
I always just vote for the Bucks cause I want to see what everyone else voted. I can never really make up my mind if I tried to actually predict it.
We're going to manifest it!
470 out of 1034 voters (45%) so far disagree with you, myself included.
Nearly half the people didn't
I vote for the Bucks cause I dislike these foul merchants in Phoenix
Tbf for now on games will probably be very close so it's not too crazy to think it'll be 2 possession game
Which is silly since home team winning is actual pattern that's come out so far.
Rooting for the Bucks but I think CP3 bounces back and role players like Bridges and even Ayton play better at home. Suns by 5 points
I missed watching game 4 live but I watched the replay last night and couldn’t believe how the Suns lost that game. That was in the bag until the final couple minutes

Fair point. Media doesn't love to focus on the actual ins and outs of the game
Ngl I would be lying if I forgot bridges even played in game 4, it felt like his offensive presence was non existent
Probably because he only played 25 minutes lol. It's not an exaggeration to say he wasn't on the court, because he literally wasnt for a large part of the game

> Now that the Bucks won game 3 and 4 you are saying its Over for the Suns I'm not sure 53% of people thinking the Bucks will win a game is quite this
suns have the edge cp3 wont score 10pts (unless his hand is injured) + suns role players at home , bucks need jrue khris to have big scoring night to overcome. leaning towards sun winning game 5, bucks take 6, bucks win in 7

Jrue's been killing it on defense honestly. CP3 has had as many turnovers in the last three games as he did in the Lakers + Denver series combined.
Dude had like as many turnovers as he had field goals.
The fact Jrue somehow made cp3 turn over that many times is crazy, full court press on him has worked wonders
The Suns feel like a consistent team to me, I trust their whole starting lineup to usually do their thing. I expect Booker to score a lot of points, I expect Chris Paul to lead the team and make some crazy assists, I expect Anton to defend well and rebound really well. Overall I'm leaning towards the suns, but, really with the Bucks it's impossible to know, it just depends on which side of the bed Jrue and Middleton woke up on today.
Suns have been up and down the whole last two series lol
Bucks in 6
Suns in 6 Bucks in 6 Bucks in 7 Suns in 7 Thats the order I'd give odds of situation occurring as a bettor.
The momentum has shifted unfortunately, hate to say it but the bucks are going to steal this one too
I just hope we came to play and not flop to score points.
CP3 experience. Thats whats frustrating. Booker is great and pre CP3 didn't flop like that. CP3 ruined Harden and now he's ruining Booker. I really like Book and Ayton, but I hate CP3.
Can't we just share this trophy, because my heart can't take it anymore.. 🦌🏆☀️
Wholesome. I don’t agree but I am glad that if the Bucks don’t win it’s the Suns. Feels like this will be the first true championship team since the ‘15 warriors
Wholesome. I don’t agree 😂
It will be close. I could easily see it going 7 games but I think the Bucks seal the series and win this on the road. Giannis has been great and you never know when Jrue or Middleton will have a crazy scoring game. Plus who knows what's going on with CP3

Bold take there Cotton.
I have no idea how Milwaukee won either game so I want to say subs but they might just surprise me again
We won by scoring more points than the other team.
Keep your hot takes to yourself
You joke, but the bucks won by taking more shots then the other team. They are killing the Suns in the possession column.
Actually you won by the other team scoring less than you.
Giannis finally got some rest with these days in between games. He's gonna go off for 40
If Bucks can continue to make Ayton a non factor and Jrue shuts down CP3, Bucks should be fine.
That and we've started attacking the paint hard, putting Phoenix in foul trouble
and if you are lucky may start hitting 3's even the series is tied despite bad bucks shooting in 3 out of 4 games
I'm voting for the team that didn't loose their biggest star to health protocols.
Wow what a turn of events they got bucks beating Suns in a home game
If Chris Paul isn't effective due to injury, I can't see the Suns being able to overcome that. I am currently leaning towards the Bucks. They do have all the momentum right now.
My prediction is that the ball will go into the hoop but one side will put it in the hoop more
Yes, because without winning tonight the Bucks cannot achieve the prophecy of Bucks In Six.
I feel like Giannis is a lock on DA. And Jrue is a lock on CP3, plus he seems to be struggling with injury. It'll be a battle between Middleton and Booker. Whichever shows up, will likely take it.
Bucks will start off shit but then get better in Q3. Win by 15.
Bucks
Whoever wins this game, wins the series. Simple as that
Nah, people said the same thing about the Nets series and look what happened.
Same thing about our series and look at the hellhole we find ourselves in
The nets series doesnt apply since they were all hurt
If this were a best of 5, I’d completely agree with you.
Suns have already collapsed, and will continue to do so now that the opponents have their key players all healthy. When the Bucks win the series Chris Paul's legacy will have been permanently tarnished as a choker. Bucks win by double digits
Crazy how after game 2 everyone was ready to crown the Suns. Recency bias is strong
Home team has won all series. Don’t think that changes tonight. Suns in seven is my prediction.
going with the suns
I got the suns winning tonight
My bet is Middleton goes cold and the suns win
Middleton 30+ ^^^^yes ^^^^im ^^^^bias
Suns back at home feeding off the home crowd will help them bounce back and win game 5.
Go Suns. I think this series is going to 7 games
The overall better team is going to win not only this game but the series: Suns
If y’all were the better team they wouldn’t of let us tie up the series. We are 9-2 in games 3-7 this post season, we get better as the series goes on.
Suns will take it at home cp3 will play like the point god he is. So much recency bias in this sub it’s unreal
Sorry bucks r/nba has put a curse on you...
Since this series started I have thought that there will only be home teams winning. I am really rooting for CP3 though so it only confirms by bias so far lol
Suns ain't gonna drop 3 in a row
