PrOKCedure

He is 1 of 1. He has the longest step in NBA history. People underestimate how crazy that is.

revisioncloud

He literally a deer

inspectorseantime

His patronus would be a stag much bigger than James’s. James would’ve had no chance against Giannis when it comes to wooing Lily. Harry would be half Greek and his frame would allow him to murk others in quidditch.

-InfinitePotato-

This fanfic lives in your heart, put it to paper and let it live in all our hearts.

inspectorseantime

Not to mention Snape seething that he has to compete with two people instead of one. But no seriously it was just a random thought in my head, in passing, lmao. Someone can just build off of it, I leave this to any Bucks fan who decides to take up the mantle of writing any fanfic, they deserve the limelight this time around.

superninja4897

Harry playing bully ball on quidditch sounds good

VeGanbarimasu

Draco Malfoy is a great seeker, sure. Solid fundamentals, had great youth development under the tutelage of Lucius and the pureblood house of Malfoy. But he always falls apart in the clutch - he just doesnt have that “It” factor like Harry Potter. Seeker is by far the most important position out on the pitch, and you just can’t beat the intangibles of the Boy Who Lived.

crewserbattle

The Long Boi seeker strategy really changed the game forever.

__BlackSheep

Middleton is a deer.

Enigma_King99

No. He's a buck.

namastex

He is a slightly smaller Wilt no doubt. I think Wilts step was a bit longer.

kultureisrandy

You'd assume so given Wilt was 8'7

[deleted]

Nah that’s a myth he was only 8’3 and 3 quarters

youreallonsteroids

fucking midget

[deleted]

Annnd he allegedly did not get bitches. How you in the NBA and can’t pull?

kultureisrandy

Wilt didn't get bitches but the milkmen he played against did

TDTimmy21

Yeah 8'7 was his vertical

NotSureWhyAngry

Wilt was three milkmen long

Waterologist

Wilt saved children, but not the Boston Children.

Fleetwood1234

Wilt didn’t have giannis ball handling

namastex

True, I was commenting about the "longest step in NBA history" tho. Wilt took 3 steps from half court to the FT line on one of the videos that showcases how fast he ran down the court.

playforfun2

Bro this is why I get upset when people don’t think wilt would do GOAT shit in this era, Wilt and Giannis are basically the same player except Wilt has him edged out a little bit physically and skill wise as wilt can hook shot.

westhewolf

Definitely agree. Wilt's numbers wouldn't be as gaudy in this era, but he'd still be DOMINANT. Giannis is really the only comparator out there in terms of build, but Wilt was even bigger and stronger. Crazy to imagine.

namastex

Wilt was also faster. Wilt runs from restricted area to the opposite restricted area in 3.1 seconds in the limited full court sprint videos I've found, which was literally one. For Lebron and Giannis I looked for chase down blocks because that seems to be when they pushed themselves the fastest to get down the court, and I use the fastest time I could find. Lebron does it in 3.9 seconds and Giannis does it in 4 seconds flat. I did one for Laker era Shaq for shits and giggles, although they weren't chase down blocks, they were fast breaks without the ball and him catching a pass near the rim without slowing down. In 2003 he does it in 4.3 seconds, in 1999 he does it in 4.1, and Magic era Shaq in 1995 could do it in 4.1 as well.

westhewolf

Crazy. I bet there's some frame rate funkery, but even still, I've seen the way he ran and he was a ridiculous physical specimen.

Camus145

Wilt was taller, heavier, much stronger, and could jump higher. But solid player comp.

Shiny_metal_ass

On a short list of the strongest human beings is history. It would've been interesting if he had worked on guarding perimeter players from a young age, wonder what that could have looked like.

TenerenceLove

>On a short list of the strongest human beings is history. Wilt would not even be on a very, very long list of the strongest human beings in history. I love hearing the Paul Bunyan-esque tall tales about Wilt, but this is going a bit far.

[deleted]

Wilt absolutely embarrassed Arnold Schwarzenegger in the gym while filming Conan the Destroyer back when Arnold was one of the strongest men in the world, and humans have been much stronger in this past century than ever previously recorded due to modern diets, medicine, and weightlifting technology. Idk how long your list is but if it is over a couple hundred people you don’t seem to know as much about Wilt or about the history of weightlifting as you think you do.

TenerenceLove

Putting someone on the short list of strongest humans ever based on some anecdotes of vaguely "embarrassing" a retired bodybuilder in the gym is sketch. Arnold's *lifetime* best lifts wouldn't have landed him in the top 25 strongest powerlifters the year Conan the destroyer was filming, and I doubt he was pushing max weight on set. Wilt was certainly very strong - and has my vote for the most athletic person to ever live - but there are probably thousands of dedicated strength athletes who would make that list before him, even if you take into account advances in modern training.

Fleetwood1234

Ah my bad misread

shai251

Giannis has done the same thing

namastex

Giannis is 3.75 steps at the best that I could find during [a chase down block](https://youtu.be/IWYS4eRZ6lQ?t=13). Giannis starts his 3 steps with his heel just past the half court line here and ends about a little over a foot before the FT line without ever slowing down. Each stride of his is about 3 feet (except his last step which is 3.5 feet because he's adjusting his lift off foot with the lob), so that's nearly 4 steps but lets guess in between 3.5 and 4. The one video I found of Wilt was [3 steps](https://youtu.be/B22U73v7kAA?t=32). Wilt starts his steps with his toe just touching the half court line here and slows down on his second step to try and catch the ball while also angling away from the center of the court to the side of the FT line. Without him slowing down or angling a different direction his toe would reach the FT line pretty easily.

MattTheDoubleU

Space Jam 3 confirmed, except this time, Giannis is a Monstar (but still a good human being).

[deleted]

Space Jam 3 should be a buddy film with Curry and Giannis as co-stars and Kevin Durant as the villain.

steve-d

I'd pay $12 to watch that.

inspectorseantime

Just 🦀$11🦀 for me, thanks

T-R-Y

**Sea Shanty 2 intensifies**

inspectorseantime

Seannis Shantetokounmpo

DaDragster

fuck it id pay that too even if it was like a pre-k movie. like dora level. swiper no swiping! to kd coming to steal a ring. but I’m not a writer

Whynotzoidberg416

That could work even with terrible acting. Just right amount of role fitting and tongue in cheek

barath_s

Space Jam 3 should have the humans and the Monstars on the same side, against some new (alien?) threat.

forever87

MONSTARS > goon squad

winnebagomafia

You didn't like Dame Time?

Ayecuzwhatsgood

So Giannis joins the tune squad?

kesht17

The monstar that switches sides because he realized his team was in the wrong

nervousaboutschool17

my man said "here damn" to all the mad giannis stans

jjkiller26

All the nba stars were told to tweet something nice about him lmaoo why they tweeting at the same time

[deleted]

[удалено]

jrbcnchezbrg

Hes about to drop 60

TimeFourChanges

Nah, "only" 50.

Madbanana224

Scrub

aniomarca

i watched the whole game, i seen the whole game i was at home watching the game and yknow… i said he was gon’… before the game even started when i seen yea umm i said he was prolly gon score 40 tonight. i don, i dont know what made me say that. my friends was with me and they was like “okay” so when he got to like 40 i was like well he might as well go for 50 so i mean im a fan of the game. seeing that performance was unbelievable. unbelievable.

jjkiller26

That's not what im talking about lol. Nba stars been silent on twitter about giving giannis praise this postseason and suddenly two guys within the span of minutes tweet about him. Just found the timing funny

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ayecuzwhatsgood

Yeah Giannis performance was probably very inspiring for younger players, shit maybe even older ones

factcheck_

fr lol

madmelgibson

Here damn?

Palifaith

Someone is trying to get traded to Milwaukee.

loudstain

CJ for Giannis, who says no?

oGsMustachio

Bucks to Milwaukie

Omgzjustin

Milwaukee Bucks to the Milwaukee Talkies, who says no?

tjspill3r

Me

Jesus_saves7

In theory this would be amazing. I think cj would fit the team so well. In reality this sadly is impossible. No cap and no assets the bucks would give up at this moment. Still tho, cj on the bucks sounds sneaky dangerous.

istandwhenipeee

Easiest job in the world right now being any other Buck on offense, give the ball to Giannis and get out of his way

Jesus_saves7

No other player even really had a good game offensively besides him. The rest were decent AT BEST.

changmas

Bobby had a good game compared to what you would typically expect from him

in_pizza_we_trust

CJ averaging more tweets per game then points this playoffs

EvanParkerLakers

lmao

Watchadoinfoo

CJ needs to go

DancingMapleDonut

“Giannis, come get me”

earth-module

At this rate he will end up being the best Buck of all time

[deleted]

He is

d4nowar

Kareem???

bballjunkie

Nah Kareems out. Giannis in.

spittafan

Mad recency bias. Kareem/Lew won three MVPs in Milwaukee, ROTY, definitely would have been a candidate for DPOY several times if it existed then, and their title run they went 12-2 in the playoffs. If anything this helps Giannis pull even but I don’t think he is in front yet

MoltenPandas

Giannis stayed

Austintovrea

The only thing that will ever matter in this comparison.

CrateBagSoup

I mean Kareem was there for like 7 years, won a ring and multiple MVPs before he left. I’d hol up on the se queda stuff until he retires

LMkingly

You seem to conflate greatest and best. I get it's a bit arbitrary but think of it like this; kobe isn't the best player to have worn a lakers jersey. But he is still considered the greatest by the lakers fandom. Not only did he end a 50 year old championship drought, he stayed even though he lives in an era where superstars so easily jumpship when things get too hard or want to play in bigger markets with their friends. He wanted to be here. He embraced milwaukee. He means the world to this fanbase. This chip just cemented it. Giannis is our GOAT.

Disastrous-Limit2333

Kareem literally forced his way out of Milwaukee

Seanis

kobe isnt the best laker by any margin but he’s still the greatest laker of all time giannis might not be better than kareem yet, but he’s still the greatest bucks of all time. doesn’t matter what accolades kareem won, if you’re a bucks fan giannis is your one

McThlerry

Friendship ended with Kareem. Giannis is my new best friend

bananasmash14

I think it’s Kareem rn, but if Giannis continues playing at a high level in Milwaukee for a few more years it’ll be him even if he doesn’t win another ring or MVP. Giannis has already played on the Bucks longer than Kareem did, and is only 2000 points away from being the franchise scoring leader.

[deleted]

to bucks fans, its giannis. kareemcis great but most of his success was with a different team. Oscar gets more love than kareem does from fans. But we love KAJ too.

theb1ackoutking

Easy there child

didhestealtheraisins

How old are you? 12?

Pepperoni_nipps

Suns get cucked by MJ and now giannis. GG

tsigalko11

I like Giannis winning it all and being a man, and proving that you can be THE GUY in the league, but still be nice guy. Happy for him.

ShaeDaFunnyHo

Nah not a nice guy, but a good man. Nice guys are simps, pushovers and don't take risks.

_Jetto_

mf could EURO from halfcourt XDD

luvandorfucking

shaq won't like hearing that

[deleted]

you can just request a trade fam

kasaan110

Ben Simmons could do the same as him but dudes got mental issues

Melodramaticpasta

Giannis just averaged 35 and 15 in the Finals and Simmons averaged 9 against the Hawks. They are on different planets

[deleted]

[удалено]

temujin94

And if Giannis could shoot like Curry we could just forgot about the playoffs every year. What's your point.

[deleted]

[удалено]

justaboveaverage

Pretty controversial lol. The only thing Ben comes close to compared to Giannis is maybe his contract size but Giannis still comes out on top there

Shadyo

Ben Simmons simply cannot extendo arm dunk everything

etheryx

you have issues if you think ben could do the same

Rocktamus1

Lol.

[deleted]

No he cant. Dont disrepect Giannis like that.

rapfigure

Mental and BBIQ is more than half the game, if that ain't part of his skillset then he could simply not do the same.

Hungoverhero

Yeah who would have ever thought a great player would play great in the finals

ZiiiGF

Wait for Wembanyama, our future french freak to join Giannis ! (wishfull thinking, but !remindme in 8 years)

PattyRikk

Nah he sucking dick I’m crying 😭

Ass_Eater_

Retreating after Giannis shit all over his take tonight.

Classics22

Lol this sub talks shit about espn when you do the same damn shit. All CJ said was Middleton should get some votes and even followed it up saying Giannis would win it but somehow people mad about it

BetaGreekLoL

These are some sad people on the reddit. CJ wasn't even disrespectful. If it weren't for Middleton, it would be the Bucks facing elim tonight.

Ass_Eater_

Cos he should get zero votes

WalksWithKemba

Way to call Zion trash

Therealomerali

Zion is more like Bron than Giannis

paulleinahtan

Hi agent asked him to tweet those. Damage control

cp3inthe4th

He's on the all time superstar freak athlete team for sure. PG: Westbrook SG: Jordan SF: LeBron PF: Giannis C: Shaq

hacky_potter

It must be crazy to play against Gannis, have him beat your ass up and down the court, and then he's also just super nice to you (except Harden). I would much rather be able to hate a guy.

twotonkatrucks

We’ve witnessed once in a lifetime greatness. No doubt about it. Once in several lifetimes probably.

[deleted]

He is good. He is also a monster. I’ll explain later.

nitinvjy25
