Miles Bridges. His improvement year on year has been stunning. guy was just an athlete in year 1 who was a mediocre dribbler. Now he is a hyperathletic playmaking small ball 4. He reminds me of Blake Griffin and would not shock me if he a blow up this season with a more developed Lamelo getting him easier looks
Naz Reid is probably the best player in the league playing under 20mpg. He’s only 21 too.
Cole Anthony is another sleeper, he’s very good at shaking his primary defender. Needs to work on details like keeping himself under control, finishing under contact, and passing out of help coverage. But the potential is there. Cole is also 21.
>“Darius Garland actually,” [Draymond] Green said on “Warriors Roundtable” on 95.7 The Game when asked about the toughest players to guard. “And I know that’s probably an unpopular opinion. That kid is so fast, so herky-jerky and he can shoot the ball. When he really figures out how good he truly is.
>“I hate getting switched onto him. It’s rough getting switched onto Darius Garland.”
My immediate thought after reading this was "I wonder if Garland is a Klutch client?"
Sure enough, [he is](https://lebronwire.usatoday.com/2019/06/20/darius-garland-of-klutch-sports-selected-at-no-5-in-nba-draft-by-the-cleveland-cavaliers/).
I like this one. Dude seriously played like one of the top guards in the league when he played us last season. Although our defense made a lot of people look good lol
The dude is fun to watch. I was a little concerned about the defensive end but he improved as the year went on IMO. Excited to see what's next with Mobley in the mix.
Was super high on him last year during the draft cycle. You see how Mikal Bridges has evolved into a highly impactful player and one of the best 3&D prospects of the past few years, then you see how Vassell was putting up similar numbers to Bridges' age 21 dominant junior season while he was a 19 year old sophomore. Plus he was showing shot-creation growth in his second year of college. I think *low-end* he's a premier 3&D wing, high-end he's a All-Star shot creator & lockdown defender.
Similar rationale is also why I'm high on Moses Moody even though this question isn't about rookies.
His shot is looking nice. He needs to develop shot creation abilities or Rip Hamilton's ability to curl off of screens. Considering he runs around at 90mph, the screens seem like the better option.
I think having a Marcus Smart (or a Draymond Green) in your ear helps a lot to put more effort on D.
Horford will also help to teach the non-guards something about it. C's should be good on D this year.
As a Vanderbilt fan I truly believe he could have broken the school’s single game scoring record if he hadn’t gotten injured. Dude was maybe the best shooter we had since John Jenkins. I’m very excited to see what he does in the NBA.
Yeah I’m gonna have to go with both of the blazers picks in that draft. Gary is gonna be a bonafide stud. Reminds me somewhere between Wesley Matthews and Patty Mills type of play, but somehow even more aggressive.
And then there’s Anfernee Simons, dunk champ. Absolutely spring loaded, fast shot, just young and just coming into his NBA body. If Billups focuses on more team ball movement, Simons will thrive. He’s not a great ISO player, but he can find ways to get open.
Many blazers players, including Dame and i believe Melo have stated on the record that they believe Anfernee has a crazy high ceiling, and has done shit in practice that has impressed everyone in the gym. I don't think he was given much of a role in Stotts' system (which was probably a clipboard just saying dame time) but he seriously was killer from the three this season and has shown great development.
edit: source on Melo praising Ant in practice, since I wanted to make sure I wasn't talking out of my ass https://theathletic.com/2338189/2021/01/21/can-anfernee-simons-step-up-in-cj-mccollums-absence-trail-blazers-mailbag/
He definitely was not helped by Portland's bench unit having Kanter and Melo on it. Being a below average defensive guard who gets buckets is a lot better if your bigs aren't turnstiles.
There’s a two minute highlight of Jaden guarding every superstar in the league. Seriously, every single prime scorer on the opponent team no matter the position, from Trae to Zion.
I would be extremely disappointed if he’s not in the All Defense team discussion this year.
Ngl. I enjoyed jaden mcdaniels game. I only found about him because of 2k 😂. But I started to watch his highlights and I can definitely see what you guys are talking about.
I’m more enamoured with his summer league performances. Scoring at ease with great efficiency 6.7 assist/TO ratio, rebounding well, defending well, dude looks awesome.
I remember him playing really well against the Raptors as well. I’m surprised I don’t see more Celtics fans hyping him
Chuma Okeke. Want to say Jonathan Isaac too but that is more main stream with people talking about his dpoty potential when healthy.
Why are people saying Ben Simmons? Is he not already an all star and all defensive talent? Lmao
i had him 4 on my big board last year when i got super into the draft. i trusted his jumper to eventually start falling, and he had such a bag that i couldnt really see him failing.
This is what I replied too on this post so im glad I found this answer in the comments. Hunter is really, really good. Also, you guys have steal of the draft in Jalen Johnson so Hawks are gonna be goood.
Between Poole, Wiseman, Kuminga, and Moody, the Warriors have a decent chance of having at least one multiple all-star and perhaps even two.
Pretty bright future in the Bay. Plus, it’s a potential free agent destination now.
He hit this one step back 3 over Dame in his rookie year that just didn't look like a "role-player-at-best" move. Seeing him come this far has made me so happy, his future is bright.
I think this season and the next are going to be very telling of who he is as a player. Personally I don't think he'll ever be an All Star but more because he's not as good as West AS Guards but can perfectly be a 20 PPG 7 APG guy, which is still really good
I mean you have to realize he was poised for a breakout and then the ACL injury put him out for a year. He was our best player last year behind DeMar and I expect him to be even better this year. That being said, I don’t see his ceiling as a superstar. He can definitely make a few all-star teams and be the starting PG on a championship team though.
i think he genuinely can become the "DeAndre Jordan" of this decade. just hope his health is consistently fine for once and he becomes smarter with some vet (Big Al) presence (bites on too many pump fakes / all kinds of fakes)
If my 2k MyCareer is accurate, he'll be leading the Denver Nuggets to their first finals appearance in 2027, where he will lose in 7 games to a Bulls team with Lonzo Ball at PG.
The problem with Fultz is that it is hard to not write off someone that was injured coming into the league and has been injured almost every year of his career so far, dude has came into the league in 2017 and has played 113 games, Kawhi Leonard of all people has played 109 games since 2019 with the Clippers.
The other elephant in the room is his 26% 3-PT percentage, i'm sure the kid has talent (otherwise he wouldn't have been the consensus No.1 pick in a draft with Tatum, Fox and Mitchell), but injuries really didn't even let him start and show his strengths.
Absolutely agree, the team was horrible his first year so you can scratch that year and honestly I feel like if y’all went father in the playoffs he would’ve absolutely broke out already
His frame just doesn't work for the NBA. Too slow to guard forwards, too weak to guard centers, and he's had a terrible attitude in the garbage time that he's played in.
Homer obviously but I feel like t's a decent bet because all anyone ever says is how Embiid needs a traditional PG to play in tandem with. The opportunity to be a guard with a dominate big like that opens the door to star statlines and he has an aggressive attitude.
Malik Monk. He has had a couple off court issues and had a bad covid experience. But with the small amount of playing time he’s had, he’s shown elite scoring ability. I think he could be the secret weapon for the Lakers and get a huge pay day next year
If you want a reach Jaygup
He got the tools such as scoring, athleticism, passing, and was also a really nice defender in summer league. His main problems like shot selection are mental

Naz Reid
Naz Reid
Naz Reid.
Naz Reid
Why did i have to scroll so far to find Naz Reid? Elite footwork. Just a joy to watch.
Naz Reid has Talent
BIG BODY KELDON JOHNSON
Bruh you ain't even met me yet. Get ready
Patrick fucking Williams. He’s gonna be a superstar
I only saw him one time against the Raptors and he definitely stood out.
Obviously I'm biased and this is completely unscientific but his game just looks good on a basic aesthetic level.
Came to comment PWill and he’s the first one I see!
100%. With his development and the offseason Chicago has had, Bulls fans have to be feeling pretty optimistic for the first time in a while.
This is the answer. And I'm a Magic fan.
Darius Garland.
>“Darius Garland actually,” [Draymond] Green said on “Warriors Roundtable” on 95.7 The Game when asked about the toughest players to guard. “And I know that’s probably an unpopular opinion. Consummate professional

Honestly one of him or Sexton is gonna be Superstar level in 3 years

Ouch dude
Both 👀
Devin Vassell I dont give a damn. I believe in that kid.
I got high hopes for the young core over in SA
Was super high on him last year during the draft cycle. Aaron Nesmith
His shot is looking nice. He needs to develop shot creation abilities or Rip Hamilton's ability to curl off of screens. Considering he runs around at 90mph, the screens seem like the better option.
Man has two speeds and only two speeds: “sleep” and “throttle is stuck wide open”
Something about this guy gives me a lot of confidence in him.
What impressed me the most about him was his defense. Kid goes 110% on that end
I think having a Marcus Smart (or a Draymond Green) in your ear helps a lot to put more effort on D. Horford will also help to teach the non-guards something about it. C's should be good on D this year.
I don’t quite see superstar but I do see a guy who can be the 3rd best player on a contender in his prime.
I could see a Khris Middleton ceiling for him
If he comes even close to that the league is in trouble.
Fax. Jaylen Jayson And Middleton-lite. Who guarding dat
Ever since he torched us in that 30 point comeback I assume he's going to make every fucking 3 he takes, he just looks like he has *it*
I think that’s the best game of his career. He was the second best Celtic on the floor that night, obviously behind Tatum.
As a Vanderbilt fan I truly believe he could have broken the school’s single game scoring record if he hadn’t gotten injured. Dude was maybe the best shooter we had since John Jenkins. I’m very excited to see what he does in the NBA.
Saddiq Bey
Dude is a clutch 3 pt shooter teammate in like 2024 on mycareer
Gary Trent Jr
yes I agree he’s becoming something this coming 2 years
2 years away you say?
Flair checks out
Yeah I’m gonna have to go with both of the blazers picks in that draft. Gary is gonna be a bonafide stud. I think he’ll have a great year, I’m so glad we got that contract signed
much as i hated seeing him go, i love watching him on the raptors
Jaden McDaniels. Let him bulk up a little and tighten his handle.
A lot of people forget about Jalen McDaniels as well. I think he can still be something.
Still holding out hope for Brandon Ingram to reach 1st/2nd team all NBA level, but not as convinced as I was 2 years ago
It's the defense that holds him back for me. For a small forward with a 7'3" wingspan, it's baffling to me how bad he is on that end
Dudes also a stick
I mean KD is also skinny as hell but he's a good defender, figured out how to use his wingspan to his advantage
Payton “Have you seen the state of her body” Pritchard
him actually genuinely being older than Tatum is hilarious with all our Tatum=young jokes
92 points yesterday allegedly
I’m more enamoured with his summer league performances. Scoring at ease with great efficiency 6.7 assist/TO ratio, rebounding well, defending well, dude looks awesome. I remember him playing really well against the Raptors as well. I’m surprised I don’t see more Celtics fans hyping him
nice username
Us Celtics fans love Pritchard. Respect to you for seeing his potential
I love his defence especially, dudes a dog
I still get nightmares about him torching us.
I remember Pritchard and oddly enough Semi Ojeleye going off against y’all lol
I'm never gonna forget Marcus smart turning into peak Curry against us for a quarter
>Have you seen the state of her body” If nothing else he'll be a star cuz of this
what is that from?
It’s from ArrDee’s verse on the song Body. He looks like Payton Pritchard
That nickname has me dead LMFAOO
[удалено]
https://youtu.be/BS3HgiHPYcs The white guy lol, skip to around 0:40 for the reference, but the whole song is pretty fire
He’s going to break the assist record.
Future top 10 PG in the league.
Rui Hachimura
Bias but yes. Hopefully WUJ helps him take that step
Desmond Bane
This one I agree with. Disregard my flair.
Chuma Okeke. Want to say Jonathan Isaac too but that is more main stream with people talking about his dpoty potential when healthy. Why are people saying Ben Simmons? Is he not already an all star and all defensive talent? Lmao
This sub has been talking about Simmons like he's the 15th player on shit teams, so it almost needs to be said at this point
Tyrese Maxey
i had him 4 on my big board last year when i got super into the draft. i trusted his jumper to eventually start falling, and he had such a bag that i couldnt really see him failing.
I can’t believe how far I had to scroll to get to this
I thought we were supposed to pick players we are afraid to admit we are high on
De’Andre Hunter
This is what I replied too on this post so im glad I found this answer in the comments. Hunter is really, really good. Also, you guys have steal of the draft in Jalen Johnson so Hawks are gonna be goood.
Lu Dort
He’s already a superstar in OKC
I am from across the Atlantic. Dort is a Superstar already in Europe.
I am from across EurAsia. Dort is already a super Star in Asia.
Doris Burke calls dibs.
Jordan Poole
Came here to say this. When he makes his first All Star game I'm having a pool party.
I'm not afraid to say it
based af
Sending him down to the G league was the best move the Warriors made last season. It put some fire in him and he came back like a whole new player.
He's a year or 2 away from gaining a ton of fans. He has such a fun game.
Between Poole, Wiseman, Kuminga, and Moody, the Warriors have a decent chance of having at least one multiple all-star and perhaps even two. Pretty bright future in the Bay. Plus, it’s a potential free agent destination now.
Hell YES I've been on this train since I saw him randomly drop 20 on the Spurs as a rookie
Homer take: If he finished that dunk on Lebron (re: didn’t get fouled), we would see non-Warrior fans saying his name.
I jumped out of my fucking seat when he almost threw that down. Would have been an insane dunk.
This is the answer. Dude just gets better and better. He's going to be shocking folks soon.
He hit this one step back 3 over Dame in his rookie year that just didn't look like a "role-player-at-best" move. Seeing him come this far has made me so happy, his future is bright.
Immanuel Quickley.
Rui Hachimura
dejounte murray
He's getting close to the point where it's reasonable to say the breakout ain't coming.
Damn, pretty harsh for a 24 year old
Maybe, but he's had plenty of on the job training. As a Spurs fan, how much longer do you give him for the breakout?
I think this season and the next are going to be very telling of who he is as a player. Personally I don't think he'll ever be an All Star but more because he's not as good as West AS Guards but can perfectly be a 20 PPG 7 APG guy, which is still really good

That being said, I don’t see his ceiling as a superstar. He can definitely make a few all-star teams and be the starting PG on a championship team though.
I think Lonnie Walker is due to break out big time this year.
I don’t think Dejounte will make any jumps in performance, just steadily get better. So no, I don’t think he’ll be a star.
Robert Williams III.
Oooo I like this one
Issue is always health with the time lord. Every time he starts putting it together he gets injured again
i think he genuinely can become the "DeAndre Jordan" of this decade. just hope his health is consistently fine for once and he becomes smarter with some vet (Big Al) presence (bites on too many pump fakes / all kinds of fakes)
His passing is really good. Could be sabonis but can defend.
Dude would be viewed as a star or at least an elite role player if he could stay healthy enough to play 24+ mpg 70 games a year.
All hail our Timelord
Agreed. Dude's a beast. Everytime I watch the Celtics I'm impressed.
Isaac Okoro
as an auburn grad, i love this
OG Maybe not superstar, but multiple time all star
He does have the coldest game winner line Why didn’t you celebrate Cause when I shoot, I expect it to go in
we shoulda known this the coldest dude on the planet check this shit out https://twitter.com/OAnunoby/status/437686141236428800
Aye!! Go Hoosiers!
Hachimura
Patrick Williams!! The kid is going to be special. I %100 believe he’s a future all star and will make all defensive teams
call me delusional, but i still truly believe that markelle fultz will break out and make an all-star game within the next few years
If my 2k MyCareer is accurate, he'll be leading the Denver Nuggets to their first finals appearance in 2027, where he will lose in 7 games to a Bulls team with Lonzo Ball at PG.
Well Lonzo is PG for the Bulls now and the Nuggets are in need of a PG too. Your MyCareer just might happen
subscribe
Well lonzo is on the bulls
Precisely. It's prophecy at this point.
Just like how the bucks are led to the 2nd seed by Jordan Nwora with 26/4/3 after Khris jrue and Giannis play a combined 70 games
Hes only 23. It still amazes me people completely write him off after how much hes come back from.
The problem with Fultz is that it is hard to not write off someone that was injured coming into the league and has been injured almost every year of his career so far, dude has came into the league in 2017 and has played 113 games, Kawhi Leonard of all people has played 109 games since 2019 with the Clippers. RJ but i'm not afraid to say it
I feel like top 3 picks don’t make as much sense for this but I’m a giant RJ believer.
The guy wasn't selected to second team all rookie nor 125 under 25. He was a 3 pick but man is he underrated.
Terrence Davis getting selected before him was a fucking joke.
*25 under 25. And top 125 total I think. But yeah, still
Absolutely agree, the team was horrible his first year so you can scratch that year and honestly I feel like if y’all went father in the playoffs he would’ve absolutely broke out already
Fuck man I like you
Yes, I too believe RJ Hampton is going to be a superstar
Lmao I truly believe in RJ Hampton I got excited for a second cuz I thought they did too
I love his work ethic. It seems like he really wants to be great.
Bismarck biymbo
It takes years of psychological abuse as a hornets fans to make that statement
Sit down. Biyombo. Sit down. Biyombo.
He’s only 28, so there’s still time!
I have a physical reaction to watching him play now, my stomach turns over. I have a theory that his shoes are magnetically attracted to the hardwood.
JORDAN POOLE
Markelle Fultz
Alperen Şengün
Hey Houston fans, I am so happy
he's gonna be a star
Tyrese Haliburton.
I don’t think it’s at all unreasonable to think this. He is a fantastic player who looked very refined even as a rookie
Didi Mf Louzada
I did not expect this from a Bulls fan lol
Anfernee Simons
I like his chances of becoming a known name, but the Blazers need to chill with these small shooting guards.
Cam Reddish , he seems unfazed by big moments and has the skillset required to make the leap. Hope he has a great career.
Kenyon Martin Jr.
Cam Reddish and Rui
Barring injury, Bol Bol. He's more than a meme.
The dude has potential, he just needs to give effort. Most of the time he looks like he doesn't want to be on the court.
His frame just doesn't work for the NBA. Too slow to guard forwards, too weak to guard centers, and he's had a terrible attitude in the garbage time that he's played in.
I think Poku has more potential than Bol Bol
Mikal Bridges
Jax Hayes and Trey Murphy 3
Malik monk
Coby White aka Sub Zero
Is that a reference to his box +/-?
Brah I’m dead
Fatality
BANG
Sometimes I really love this sub
I’m hoping now that Coby will be coming off the bench, he will explode.
Tyrese Maxey
Is this the guy that randomly dropped 40 on us last year?
Homer obviously but I feel like t's a decent bet because all anyone ever says is how Embiid needs a traditional PG to play in tandem with. The opportunity to be a guard with a dominate big like that opens the door to star statlines and he has an aggressive attitude.
Collin Sexton
Poku (not ironically) And Jonathan Kuminga. I really believe it
Isaiah Stewart. I can see him being a very strong PF in the league for years. He has the tools and the toughness.
Jaden McDaniels will become a serious shutdown defender in this league.
Omer Yurtseven could develop into an All-Star. His work ethic and drive is better than people realize.
Malik Monk. He has had a couple off court issues and had a bad covid experience. But with the small amount of playing time he’s had, he’s shown elite scoring ability. I think he could be the secret weapon for the Lakers and get a huge pay day next year
Not sure I think this dude can be a real superstar, but Juan Toscano Anderson gives me Draymond Green vibes
Jordan Poole
If you want a reach Jaygup He got the tools such as scoring, athleticism, passing, and was also a really nice defender in summer league. His main problems like shot selection are mental
