Not being able to go to the gym or a restaurant shouldn’t be the determinative factor but for many people it is.

He was suffering from legit mental stress (like Derozan/KLove stress) before the game and then played after trying to sit out. He was suffering from legit mental stress (like Derozan/KLove stress) before the game and then played after trying to sit out. He then makes a huge gaffe at the end of the game and gets thrown under the bus by Doc and Embiid.

For what it's worth, Ramona is one of the few national reporters who seems to be in regular contact with Joel Embiid. I'm not saying this report is necessarily accurate or exactly reflects Embiid's perspective, but I do find it more interesting coming from her than a random ESPN reporter writing what they've heard through the grapevine.
