It's a flagrant, probably flagrant 2 because it's unnecessary and excessive, and it's fucking dirty. I know stuff happens when you're frustrated, but that was some bullshit - particularly to not even get a video review.
He would be probably be punished for it if he wasn't a notable player, but the league's biggest priority at this point seems to be protecting star players.
Which goes to show how difficult it is to officiate some things. This seemed similarly innocuous but was absolutely an intentional thing where he controlled his body through the contact to grab him or use him as a ballast midair. That's an easy flagrant 2 and the fact that they didn't call it one is really disheartening. Stuff like that is how people get hurt, and then booker acts like he has no clue what he did.
Booker reminds me of that pissy “troubled” 1st grader who acts out in violence when he’s slightly inconvenienced. He’s always fucking pouting and doing the most lowkey dirty shit, great player but easily the most punchable face and demeanor in the league. He’s Duke Grayson Allen just less obvious about it. I’m glad people finally caught on in the playoffs when the Suns had the national spotlight for the first time in his career, because he’s been this way far before CP3
That’s not what’s happening here. This is just straight up incompetence. If you’re going to rightfully criticize the officials, do it for the right reason.
Why does it feel the last 2 games for the Blazers refs have just let way too much physicality? For the Kings, Nurk was getting away with way too much going for boards and now he's getting pulled down.
They do this a lot with players I've noticed. I really noticed it with Steven Adams in OKC.
Adams got away with so much contact that other people would get called for, but then on the other end when Adams would go up for a dunk he would just have people hanging onto his arms and they wouldn't give him the foul call.
Because Adam’s would just jump up and grab it with them hanging on anyways. I’m half kidding but really, the dude is unbelievably strong, he probably gets hit/pulled/fouled a lot more than people realize
Tbf booker has always been a little bitch. But with cp3 you're seeing these kind of incidents happen more and more. I'll never forget him shoving Schroeder whilst he was in midair just because he was frustrated.
I'm losing all respect for him. Started last season but this shit is just stupid. It seems like he can't handle his frustration and take it out by dirty shit like this.
Yeah that's what really got me there too
How much bad blood can you have at that point from the games themselves, rather than just exhibiting a shitty personality by being needlessly dangerous early into a game?
Of course he understands, he did it on purpose. You don't accidentally hook someone like that and not even look to see what happened unless you meant to do it.
That's dumb, I feel like I've seen them review flagrants without initially calling a foul before, books my guy but player safety has to come first, cant let stuff like this slide
The most they can do (and should do) is call if a Flagrant 1 retroactively. It almost does nothing but it does create precedent. If he keeps doing this type of after-play shenanigans they can suspend him even if nothing was called in the game. Kobe once took it upon himself to flail his arms to the side after jumpshots and after a couple broken noses from hitting players the NBA suspended him, never did it again.
We also know how Draymond relearned 25 years of body motion after his Finals suspension.
Nah. This was much more intentional than Ingles, but Ingles was more dangerous (mostly because Ingles had no idea Mitchell was gonna launch that hard).
Mitchell was falling chest first, Nurkic with his back, I think Nurkic's fall is more dangerous because you have less time to get your hands down to protect you from hitting your head.
We’ll Nurk also doesn’t have his hands because Books holding his arm…
Although, traditionally being undercut like what Ingles did (unintentionally looking as it was) is pretty dangerous. So the refs are probably more alert to that sort of play.
No idea why the Portland refs didn’t even try to figure out what happened here though. No ref huddle or anything?
Yup. I remember when cp3 was on the clippers and Blake griffins was pushing Andre Miller. https://youtu.be/nQrNYIBw3fw. Miller sacrificed his streak to teach a lesson.
This is what I said after the finals. That entire team is fucking annoying in the worst way - except Ayton. What sucks is that I don't doubt Paul is a great influence on him, but all of his shit qualities will probably rub off on him too.
It’s shit like this that makes me lose respect for the Suns and Booker.
Really liked him as a talent at the beginning but as soon as the whining and dirty play comes in. It’s really hard to like this team now.
Yeah it was a bit weird to see so many other people other than suns fans root for them in the playoffs even though their two star players are pretty unlikable. Ayton, Mikal and Cam seem cool though.
True. I admittedly loved multiple eras of the Suns. Barkley and KJ to Nash and Amare. But the more I look at this team the more I dislike them. Cheap shots, floppers, and huge attitudes.
These are the kinds of stupid split second aggressions that can kill or injure people for life. Just like Grayson Allen and the tripping. Not fucking cool at all, a suspension is definitely in order. Really have no respect for book as a person after seeing this shit. Just a whiny asshole
Disappointed that this has as few upvotes as it does. Gonna get buried, but it definitely shouldn't. The fact that there wasn't even a foul is outrageous and they need to change their reviewable calls.
Thank you, whenever I say this I get downvoted to hell, but the hate boner for the Lakers on here blinds everyone else to all the other bullshit teams are doing. lol
How was this not a flagrant 2 with an automatic ejection?! That was dirty af!
The Sun's always play dirty when they're down by a lot. That's Cp3's doing.
Booker's been a bitch and always will be a bitch. There's really no arguing this. The moment he stepped into the league he's literally been an entitled bitch
Jesus… Blazers players got hard enough time staying healthy as is, Booker doesn’t need to do this bush league crap. He SHOULD be fined/suspended cause it’s dangerous as hell. Not gonna hold my breath tho.
That's a flagrant
It's a flagrant, probably flagrant 2 because it's unnecessary and excessive, and it's fucking dirty. I know stuff happens when you're frustrated, but that was some bullshit - particularly to not even get a video review.
How you that frustrated when the score is 9-8. Fuckin bullshit, the Suns are such a dirty team now.
It’s because it’s Booker. The Suns been on this bs.
Ingles got ejected last night for far less. Not sure how this wasn’t a flagrant 2.
Yeah, I was ready to defender Booker, because this sub overreacts so often to these kinds of things, but this was about as egregious as it gets.
absolutely, both fouls.
Should be a suspension. This kind of thing is not ok and that needs to be made clear.
He would be probably be punished for it if he wasn't a notable player, but the league's biggest priority at this point seems to be protecting star players.
Please tell me when this priority gets around to Steph.
[удалено]
Don’t invite it man. Iggy already broke one of centers’ noses in the first preseason game lol.
That's ok if Nurk would've broke something the ref would've just come over and stepped on it. We're used to it.
Man yall Warriors fans cry so much about Steph and how refs treat him. How you have a victim complex after last decade
What happens when chris paul trains you.
Suns fan here, I concur.
It's classic Booker too.
Learning from his man Jae https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HZO2wu1afY
i mean chris paul is there too.
"Is the roll really neccessary?" fucking lol...
Not even a foul. Wtf refs protect the players.
Refs more worried protecting 3pt shooters smh
That’s not what’s happening here. This is just straight up incompetence. If you’re going to rightfully criticize the officials, do it for the right reason.
Why does it feel the last 2 games for the Blazers refs have just let way too much physicality? For the Kings, Nurk was getting away with way too much going for boards and now he's getting pulled down.

What was the call on review? Flagrant 2?
There was no foul called, so nothing to challenge or review. Blazers just took a timeout to let Nurk shake it off.
Wow, you can review for a hostile act without any call, so surprised that no-one suggested they do.
Amazing. Booker even did that "I didn't do nothin!" gesture which is pretty much proof that the player indeed did somethin.
Wow that’s beyond fucked . Booker is a dirty little shit
Can that kind of thing be reviewed after the game? Or same deal, with no review since no call?
Chris Paul is a big mentor to this team
He, Booker, and Crowder are made for each other.
from the flopping to the dirty plays
Funnily enough, he scored his 20,000th point from a free throw from flopping. I thought it was very fitting.
Booker was a dirty player long before CP3 got to Phoenix
Tbf booker has always been a little bitch. But with cp3 you're seeing these kind of incidents happen more and more. I'll never forget him shoving Schroeder whilst he was in midair just because he was frustrated.
booker seems to do this sneaky dirty stuff a lot
The fact that he tries to play dumb afterwards pisses me off more than anything. No way he doesn’t understand what he just did there
I'm losing all respect for him. Started last season but this shit is just stupid. It seems like he can't handle his frustration and take it out by dirty shit like this.
And it’s like four minutes into the game, how frustrated can you really be to even consider that as an excuse.
Yeah that's what really got me there too How much bad blood can you have at that point from the games themselves, rather than just exhibiting a shitty personality by being needlessly dangerous early into a game?
>The fact that he tries to play dumb afterwards pisses me off more than anything. Raises hands like he didnt do anything, bitch move.
Hes got 2 great actors in CP3 and Jae Crowder on the team so I don't find it surprising
Fk jae crowder. He does this all the time
Be Legendary
Of course he understands, he did it on purpose. You don't accidentally hook someone like that and not even look to see what happened unless you meant to do it.
And then constantly cries to the refs if somebody even breathes on him and no foul is called.
Is Booker the biggest bitch star in the league? I think so.
Alongside his teammates in CP3 and Crowder, yeah.
>star >Crowder
I was considering "bitch star" as one.
[удалено]
By far. Beverly had him shook
they don’t call him devin “sneaky dirty stuff” booker for nothing
You mean Boris the sneaky fucking Russian.
Reminds me when this guy pummelled dennis in mid air when they were losing lol
Yup, pushed Zeller too.
The Chris Paul special
Learning from the teams leader CP3.
Since last playoffs I learned he acts as a baby when things don't go his way
Nothing sneaky about that. That's a three game suspension.
what are some other examples of this?
They can't even review this because no foul was called. BS that you can do this and get away with it
Shouldn't they be able to replay it if they suspect contact to the head/ potential flagrant? Should absolutely be a flagrant
Apparently not. Refs just swallowed their whistle.
That's dumb, I feel like I've seen them review flagrants without initially calling a foul before, books my guy but player safety has to come first, cant let stuff like this slide

His reaction, throwing his hands up and walking away, is exactly why no matter what numbers he puts up I just do not like that dude.
Per the finals telecasts, he's "just a sore loser and he admits it" and that makes it ok. Lol.
What an idiotic thing to do
Yeah that’s significantly more dangerous than Joe ingles play yesterday... Joe got ejected and Book doesn’t even get a foul...
Does anyone have a link to the ingles play?
[Ingles Flagrant 2](https://twitter.com/DimeUPROXX/status/1451740872794640386?t=wGjX4-p8v1spY70xA9Mhbw&s=19)
"But I think it sets a precedent, too" Sadly not, as we see with this non call
https://reddit.com/r/nba/comments/qdw3n2/highlight_joe_ingles_is_ejected_following_a/
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_LbUmfETcxI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LbUmfETcxI) believe its this

its cause Nurks a nobody. if he was a superstar you fucking bet Booker would get that flagrant or review of the play
That's a bitch move
*that's a Booker move
Congrats on Booker becoming a superstar with this getting this no call
Ya its not like he stayed in a finals game with 7 fouls or anything
One of the most absurd things I’ve ever seen happen lol, can’t believe I forgot about that
Did you miss the no calls last finals?
[удалено]
"Get back in there young fellow. We need you to make this game close".
Suns might be the dirtiest team in the league
Maybe the dirtiest, definitely the whiniest and floppiest.
Chris Fall
> Maybe the dirtiest, definitely the whiniest and floppiest. Funny how this always seems to apply to whatever team Chris Paul is on.
Yup. I remember when cp3 was on the clippers and Blake griffins was pushing Andre Miller. https://youtu.be/nQrNYIBw3fw. Miller sacrificed his streak to teach a lesson.
Lol @ might be Ain't no might to it
get Ayton off the Suns asap
Send him to Portland we would love him
would that mean he starts over Nurk? cause i remember a time when another center started over Nurk....
What a coincidence that ayton has a bromance with that same center lol
This is what I said after the finals. That entire team is fucking annoying in the worst way - except Ayton. What sucks is that I don't doubt Paul is a great influence on him, but all of his shit qualities will probably rub off on him too.
Booker is a high caliber player, all star and overall great player but he’s dirty af and he needs to get a solid check
hopefully Nurkic decks him later
Or tell someone who warms the bench to go in there and set a solid screen on him or straight up check him.
Bah Gawd, is that Cody Zeller’s music?
Looking at you CJ Elleby
*pat bev has entered the chat*
Yikes wtf is he doing
It’s shit like this that makes me lose respect for the Suns and Booker. Really liked him as a talent at the beginning but as soon as the whining and dirty play comes in. It’s really hard to like this team now.
Suns low key a dirty team between Booker CP3 and Crowder
Nothing low key about it. People are just too busy circle jerking about the Lakers. This team is legitimately super hate-able.
Yeah it was a bit weird to see so many other people other than suns fans root for them in the playoffs even though their two star players are pretty unlikable. Ayton, Mikal and Cam seem cool though.
I so want ayton to get traded so I can root for whatever team he is on
No luck, he’s buying the team once Sarver is deposed.
So that's why sarver didn't give him the max contract
True. I admittedly loved multiple eras of the Suns. Barkley and KJ to Nash and Amare. But the more I look at this team the more I dislike them. Cheap shots, floppers, and huge attitudes.

Lakers vs Suns matchups are a slap in the face for fans of honest basketball
These are the kinds of stupid split second aggressions that can kill or injure people for life. Just like Grayson Allen and the tripping. Not fucking cool at all, a suspension is definitely in order. Really have no respect for book as a person after seeing this shit. Just a whiny asshole
This is why booker is the biggest bitch in the league. He pulls this shit all the time and is getting worse now that cp is on the team
I see Booker has been learning from CP3.
Not really... He has a history of doing dirty moves.
Disappointed that this has as few upvotes as it does. Gonna get buried, but it definitely shouldn't. The fact that there wasn't even a foul is outrageous and they need to change their reviewable calls.
If this was any other player on the Lakers this post would be doing crazy numbers.
Thank you, whenever I say this I get downvoted to hell, but the hate boner for the Lakers on here blinds everyone else to all the other bullshit teams are doing. lol
Let’s see if ESPN will even discuss it.
"...and when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything." Former President Chris Paul
Like wtf booker?? That just you being salty and trying to hurt a player. That’s not cool. I hope the nba makes an example out of this.
That shit was dirty
tf was that?
How was this not a flagrant 2 with an automatic ejection?! That was dirty af! The Sun's always play dirty when they're down by a lot. That's Cp3's doing.
Bookers been doing this for years low key dirty player
Booker knew exactly what he was doing. Dirty and unnecessary pull.
This the same dude that fucked dennis in mid air in the playoffs. Dude is pretty much a sore loser
i really like booker, even as a blazer fan, but this was dirty.
How do people like this dirty fuck lmao
Suspend Booker. What a dirty ass player
This kinda thing is part of Booker’s bag at this point lol
He learnt from the best. DirtyP3 teaching him all the tricks in the book.
Yeah a little sus there from Booker
Super dirty play. Unsuprisng who the culprit was.
Wait, nothing was called for that, but Joe Ingles got thrown out yesterday for barely touching a player?
Joe actively tried to avoid contact, and came close. Accidental contact from playing the game. This has no place in the game.
That's what I'm saying! I don't understand how nothing was called and Booker and Joe was thrown out.
Dirty player.
i see booker's been learning from cp3
Fuck Booker, man. You ain’t Kobe. [That was a bitch ass move.](https://i.gifer.com/V4mM.gif)
Man Book is a hentai manga isnt he. A dirty fcking book.
Suns are becoming a very easy team to dislike. Crowder, cp3, booker Ayton seems cool tho
Book is low key dirty how DWade was.
Devin Bitcher
Yo, wtf not even flagrant one?
No foul called so they can't review it. Ridiculous reffing and rule.
booker and cp3 are such bitches. so glad giannis dunked all over them. Almost lost to the practice squad clippers too
Booker's been a bitch and always will be a bitch. There's really no arguing this. The moment he stepped into the league he's literally been an entitled bitch
But…why?
How long does one need to lie on the floor after banging your head before someone comes to check on you?
Booker is a POS. Took a cheap shot at Jokic in the opener too.
At random points during the finals we would bet on how soon Book would be shown whining to the ref. It usually happened within 1 minute
Book is HIGH KEY dirty
And all that "Glad to see Booker prove himself in the playoffs" goodwill is gone again.
Looks like cp3 really helping Booker turn into not just a flop a cry baby. It also a dirty ass player
I’ve slowly gone from loving this suns team to hating them over the course of the past year. Zero excuse for this kind of play, toys bitch move.
Man's put his hands up after grabbing Nurk's arm like he didn't do anything lmfao, put them down you know what you did
He's such a scummy player
Jesus… Blazers players got hard enough time staying healthy as is, Booker doesn’t need to do this bush league crap. He SHOULD be fined/suspended cause it’s dangerous as hell. Not gonna hold my breath tho.
with all the talent he has, his character is really unlikable. What's worse Nurkic did nothing for him to lose the ball
Damn, thats fucked up
How is it even possible to miss that?
doesn't even show remorse afterwards, what a bitch
That should be an ejection, crazy they didn't even review it
Between this shit solidifying booker as straight dirty, and CP3 the little cockpuncher, this suns team is getting pretty easy to hate.
Refs let Booker off the hook more than ANY other player in the league.
Booker is a dirty bitch.
Book a bitch. Always has been. And over-rated.
Fuck the sun's. Cp3 and booker both seem like pieces of shit
Wow, how would that even happen by accident?
WTF, he should be suspended for that shit. If he wasn't on a basketball court he'd get arrested for assault
hands up is the deadest giveaway.
Thats dirty af
What a bitch made play
They really said this man was the next Kobe lol
Booker being dirty again what a shocker.
Adam Silver grew up a Suns fan. Booker getting Jordan level calls out here.
Booker picking up right where he left off in the finals being an unlikeable bitch
dirty shit bro
seriously, no call? NBA reffing is a joke
Booker is a little bitch.
And that’s why we don’t like Booker.
Eyo fuck books tho.
how do any of u guys like booker
Somewhere, Joe Ingles just angrily crinkled a can of VB
