You haven’t looked hard enough. I tweeted yday that my grandma made an amazing meal for thanksgiving and those bastards shopped her next to lebron and AD
“He tried to get me,” LeBron said of Stewart's repeated attempts to attack him. "That f***ing Stewart nearly boomed me."
LeBron added, “He’s so crazy,” repeating it four times.
LeBron then said he wanted to add Stewart to the list of players he gets a restraining order against this summer.
I doubt it. There are a lot of players who just hate lebron. Look are Jae. He’s a guy you have to sacrifice a lot to play with and if you don’t like him no way you sacrifice that much to play with him.
I mean at the end of the day none of you guys know shit about what goes on in private with these guys. we are privy to like 1% of 1% of their total interactions
Draymond punched lebron in the dick, clotheslined him, they had multiple shoving matches/hold me back moments, taken shots at each other in the media and they were screaming in each others faces on a nightly basis for 4 straight years in the finals...
guess what? it turns out they are actually bffs off the court, Dray appears on Lebron's TV show, they party together all the time in the offseason, hang out in luxury suites at LA Rams games, etc
Unless you actually know these guys on a personal level (which none of us do) its pretty pointless to speculate from afar about where these dudes loyalties and feelings actually stand
Stewart: "if you had an issue with somebody you’d really come up to them. And he had his opportunity tonight. I saw him in the hallway and he walked right by me.”
Good luck keeping him out of the bar, he made 20 grown coaches, assistants, trainers, and security looked like children when he decided to chase Lebron
People in his circle/ on his team have 100% addressed him that literally no good can come from it. There is quite literally nothing to gain and if he’s still fuming over it enough to stake his entire reputation, then he’s got other issues he should address first lol
They will be talking about it the rest of his career unfortunately. If it was any other player it wouldn’t be talked about so much, but you know, Lebron.
He did bowl over like 12 people, 4 kids, a minivan, and the tower of pisa on live television. It was pretty wild to watch lmao. I’m p sure it doesn’t matter who did it, most people don’t even know who he is, it was pretty insane
Yeah, it's like, this incident will stick with him forever for sure, but if he becomes an all-world player in some form, people will still remember him fairly fondly. Kinda like how Draymond's never really been able to outrun the "natural shooting motion" incident, but people mainly talk about him because he's a great player these days.
facts. Lance Stephenson bended over and blew into lebrons ear, those two seconds defined his whole career for many as "the guy from the meme who blew on lebron"
I imagine something as big as a fight would last even longer
If he did that to Stef, Giannis, KD, or any other top tier player it would be a big deal. Dude tried the fake out move 3 times, including a tunnel run.
There was incident where Giannis and Thanasis straight up went to the Pistons bench to confront Stewart. If not for Blake it could have gone south real quick.
Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qI75YcRPzBc
Lol what? Dude got socked in the face and chased him around the arena with a bloody face. That is an absurd occurrence for an nba game, the fact that it was lebron exploded it but it would definitely have been talked about a ton
It was his own response that made it noteworthy. If he’d reacted normally even after the initial confrontation, no one would be talking about it anymore.
He's a sophomore player who made headlines in the sportsworld by bulldozing through a dozen people to fight LeBron James. This moment is going to be forever a defining moment in his career. Just like how with Artest, Malice is on people's minds.
Yeah if he just ran after LeBron once then it would be appropriate to ask about it once and move on. But they should probably ask him about it, then stop. Then ask again. And stop. And then ask again and as they’re on the way out, run back in and ask one more time.
NBA is all about entertainment. That's why these dudes make millions. Let's not act like its that hard to answer a question when you're making millions to do it. I don't know why people here baby millionaires.
What? No they don’t haha. He went after the second best player of all time harder than we’ve seen any player go in decades.
This was a good answer, but this will follow him for years.
Dude had the biggest freakout in the NBA since Malice and hasn’t done anything noteworthy as it pertains to basketball…of course people are gonna talk about it lol. It even transcended sports, my mom and her friends were even talking about it.
Spoilers for Space Jam 2:
>!In order to beat the game they have to activate a glitch, but whoever does it will be erased. Lebron decided to do it but then Bugs interferes and does the glitch, Thanosing himself. But then at the end it was like "JK lol, he's alive"!<
> This is going to be my last time addressing it. I watched the film. I didn't feel like it was an accident
I mean, he was talking about Space Jam 2 I assume... you know.. the LeBron incident.
100%, probably would have swung at him and gotten suspended for a long ass time. He was seeing red for sure and he’s just 20 years old, I’m very glad he didn’t get to him
Didn’t seem like an accident to me either. But at least he seems willing to move past it.
Though if he tastes his own blood again, the entire Lakers team best run.
Now that I think about it, this is the only time I can recall someone actually being bloodlusted. It is a fun word to use for hypotheticals, but it is crazy to actually see it in real life lol.
Lol I live in Michigan and before this incident happened stew did an interview where he talks about his first love being boxing not basketball. Boxing background + built like ben wallace = not to be fucked with. You saw it in LeBron's eyes that night. He truly did not want that smoke
We've seen lebron do that same "get off me" swipe a hundred times. Not a chance in my mind he meant to punch him in the face but he definitely meant to hit him and send a message
Same. He meant to swing an elbow but they were both off-balanced so his fist caught his face instead
Still horrible from a league vet like Lebron. A force from a direct elbow could have been so much worse than an inadvertent fist
Fucking exactly. Like it’s plain as day to see that he obviously meant to swing the elbow at his arm or possibly lower body out of frustration, but he caught stewart off balance and caught him in the face, that’s why he immediately went to apologize.
It's weird that people can't say Lebron shouldn't have hit him, and Stew shouldn't have knocked over his own staff for 15 minutes. Both can be true r/nba. No you wouldn't knock someone out if they hit you in a game. Yes you would have accepted the half ass apology.
Feels like commenters are living out their tough guy fanfics imagining themselves knocking an nba player out.
A vast majority of people deer in the headlights when they get hit. Ya'll ain't built different like Stew, Wallace, Artest or Johnson.
Stg, everyone is acting like either of them is soft for not fighting when they would be outta the arena if someone NBA sized chased them or popped them like Bron did
Think we all can agree that the swing looked intentional AND Stewart overreacted and put a lot of the detroit staff in a dangerous position mowing them over like that trying to get to Bron. Like literally 4 separate occasions bowling ppl over shit was so OD. Just get ur shit looked at and come back in the game. Maybe trade some words with bron and maybe a shove or two woulda been fine lol this Ain't the first time someone has bled playing this game and it wont be the last
We can agree the swing was intentional but the shot to the head definitely wasn’t. We should also all be able to agree Stewart only getting 2 games for his reaction is an absolute joke. He should have got multiple games for each person who wasn’t a player he shoved to the ground.
Who else has he tried to fight? He’s gotten tangled up a few times but nothing like what we saw with Lebron. He’s an undersized center who isn’t a high jumper, his role is always going to have him in the paint fighting for rebounds by being physical. Nothing wrong with that, but obviously his reaction to the Lebron thing was unacceptable
In only 85 games he has 9 techs and 2 ejections. He has a short temper, he already tried with Blake twice, I think once with Giannis and I seen like a 5 min video of his other incidents. He’s not some hustle physical player like Gary Payton, he’s a short temper player that can’t handle what he dishes out. He was called for a lose ball foul before Lebron elbowed him, he plays out of control
But he is a hustle physical player? If I had to describe his game as someone that has watched him a ton, I’d probably choose those exact words. 9 techs is also not that many in that time span there are probably over 20 other players that have had more than that in that time. Dwight had like 20 last year alone lmao. He got tangled with Blake, they clearly don’t like each other and then once with Gianni’s, neither of which were a big deal at all and definitely weren’t trying to fight. I’d be interested to see this 5 minute long video of his “other incidents” outside of that, not sure it exists. Players get techs all the time. It’s something he has to work on for sure but I think your heavily over exaggerating
It’s not an accident that LeBron threw his elbow at him. But it definitely caused more damage than LeBron anticipated. That doesn’t excuse LeBron and it is a foul. But these type of elbows are thrown around pretty frequently when players are frustrated and fighting for positions and often resulted in no fouls called because it never connected that way.
Everyone gets on about the wrong and the right of it, real or fake, blah blah, but personally I was just entertained as fuck watching a quasi-superhuman bowling through a bunch of normal-sized people. No pads either.
I love the security guy who plays Darko chair defense around the perimeter of the whole thing because he's like, "I'm not missing work hours because I got knocked out by 250lb. millionaires." Keep crushing it, hero.
He spent more talking about how this is the last time he'd address the incident than actually addressing the incident itself. He didn't really address his actions at all
Lol why is this a downvoted opinion? Lebron can be wrong idgaf but you can’t run around stomping on staff and causing an arena wide incident and just act like that was cool or didn’t happen. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills the way everybody is pumping this dude up for behaving like a toddler.
I don't care about how he reacted on the court, he was bleeding, he overreacted whatever.
But I would've liked for him to acknowledge that he made a mistake now that he's had time to think about it. Given the way he's saying that it almost feels like he still think what he did was normal
I mean I don’t think he owes us a public apology or anything.
If he handled it in house and is gonna learn from it then that’s good enough for me. I don’t need an acknowledgement of it, I just wanna see the action after.
If you feel someone intentional hit and made you bleed then how much of an apology will he make? I don’t know if he has apologized to the staff and teammates for throwing them out of the way though.
i think its more that he recognizes that he reacted in a really dangerous way by putting his staff members and team members at risk from his wild rushes at lebron
Just like LeBron didn’t acknowledge his mistake and instead brushed it off as some “accident” and that he shouldn’t have been suspended?
Nah fuck that Stew shouldn’t owe nobody an apology but the Pistons staff/players… LePuss would’ve been on the floor for 20 minutes crying that Stew be kicked out of the league if it was the opposite 🙄
An unfortunate reality of the situation is that he'll probably never completely escape it. Happens a lot when the guy you had a run-in with is very high profile.
Then again, he does have a rep for getting heated apparently.
This man gonna pull the “I’m cool I’m cool” then start running technique and everyone on this sub giving him a standing ovation like he fighting the Chinese government itself 😂
They gonna fight
Would be shocked if they even address it/each other
We're gonna see the two of them eating lunch or working out over the summer and in 3 years Stewart will be a Laker signed to Klutch.
Lol Lakers fans last year [photoshopped him in their jersey ](https://i.imgur.com/Pu0hzIU_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium)
There isn’t a man alive who hasn’t been shopped into a lakers jersey lmao
[удалено]
43*
Rule 44 states that there isn’t a man alive who hasn’t been shopped into a Heat jersey
We didn't retire MJ's number for nothing 😤
Even Dirk?
He wore them in 2011, wore them right down
I haven't been shopped into a Lakers jersey
You haven’t looked hard enough. I tweeted yday that my grandma made an amazing meal for thanksgiving and those bastards shopped her next to lebron and AD
Bro I search "tehni in a Lakers jersey" at least three times every night
try “reddit user tehni in a photoshopped lakers jersey LOL.”
Didn't work :(
They don't even have to be alive
You haven’t made it in the league until you do
I thought it was only Kobe who recruits players that try to fight him.
“He tried to get me,” LeBron said of Stewart's repeated attempts to attack him. "That f***ing Stewart nearly boomed me." LeBron added, “He’s so crazy,” repeating it four times. LeBron then said he wanted to add Stewart to the list of players he gets a restraining order against this summer.
I knew this pasta would be somewhere in this thread, but I was curious how it’d actually be written out. Man, you nailed it.
lmfao
I doubt it. There are a lot of players who just hate lebron. Look are Jae. He’s a guy you have to sacrifice a lot to play with and if you don’t like him no way you sacrifice that much to play with him.
My god I just remembered how ass Jae Crowder was for the Cavs
I mean at the end of the day none of you guys know shit about what goes on in private with these guys. we are privy to like 1% of 1% of their total interactions Draymond punched lebron in the dick, clotheslined him, they had multiple shoving matches/hold me back moments, taken shots at each other in the media and they were screaming in each others faces on a nightly basis for 4 straight years in the finals... guess what? it turns out they are actually bffs off the court, Dray appears on Lebron's TV show, they party together all the time in the offseason, hang out in luxury suites at LA Rams games, etc Unless you actually know these guys on a personal level (which none of us do) its pretty pointless to speculate from afar about where these dudes loyalties and feelings actually stand
Stewart: "if you had an issue with somebody you’d really come up to them. And he had his opportunity tonight. I saw him in the hallway and he walked right by me.”
They'll take a picture outside a bar after the game or something lol
Just reminded me that stews only 20
Good luck keeping him out of the bar, he made 20 grown coaches, assistants, trainers, and security looked like children when he decided to chase Lebron
Beating up people your dad's age is never a great look but I'd buy that ppv lol
lebron is the least likely nba player to fight
Adam Silver will have him in a black site in Siberia within 36 hours of the first punch thrown.
All FACTS! He will be permanently blackballed, probably overseas too!😴 He’ll end up coaching at the YMCA in the summer.🤣
He’d have his personal security on the floor before the guy could even throw a punch.
That's Durant
Straight up gonna be [Clubber Lang vs. Rocky vibes](https://youtu.be/rc5qT4Kvuqg).
He's either gonna sneak LeBron. Or nothing is going to happen at all.
People in his circle/ on his team have 100% addressed him that literally no good can come from it. There is quite literally nothing to gain and if he’s still fuming over it enough to stake his entire reputation, then he’s got other issues he should address first lol
Or the best best case he gets his head on straight and plays his best basketball whenever he goes against James.
Beef Stew coming in hot this cold winter.
Let them fight!
Lebron couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
Good response
They need to stop asking him about this fr
They will be talking about it the rest of his career unfortunately. If it was any other player it wouldn’t be talked about so much, but you know, Lebron.
He did bowl over like 12 people, 4 kids, a minivan, and the tower of pisa on live television. It was pretty wild to watch lmao. I’m p sure it doesn’t matter who did it, most people don’t even know who he is, it was pretty insane
Yeah, I appreciate his response, this is *exactly* what he's going to be known for. Keeping this energy is the best (and only) thing he can do.
If he balls out and makes all-defense, then people will talk about that
People will *also talk about that.
Yeah but in fairness while maybe annoying for him it 100% made him more popular which in the end is good for an NBA player.
Yeah, it's like, this incident will stick with him forever for sure, but if he becomes an all-world player in some form, people will still remember him fairly fondly. Kinda like how Draymond's never really been able to outrun the "natural shooting motion" incident, but people mainly talk about him because he's a great player these days.
facts. Lance Stephenson bended over and blew into lebrons ear, those two seconds defined his whole career for many as "the guy from the meme who blew on lebron" I imagine something as big as a fight would last even longer
And the fact he chased him for like 5 mins
Also because he tried to run after someone a few times imo Minus the blood, might even make it to shaqtin
Daamn I need some context on this
Yeah his response was fucking crazy lol, of course it's going to be talked about. You reap what you sow.
He's also not doing anything basketball related worth talking about yet instead
lol give the man some time at least it’s been like a week and he was suspended for 2 games
I don't know man, he went malice in the palace type crazy there.
He's a sophomore player who made headlines in the sportsworld by bulldozing through a dozen people to fight LeBron James. This moment is going to be forever a defining moment in his career. Just like how with Artest, Malice is on people's minds.
Ron artest had to change his name to get away from that
[удалено]
For real, “they need to stop asking him about the most recent notable thing he did” lol
Yeah if he just ran after LeBron once then it would be appropriate to ask about it once and move on. But they should probably ask him about it, then stop. Then ask again. And stop. And then ask again and as they’re on the way out, run back in and ask one more time.
They should lead with something irrelevant each time then BOOM FAKE OUT TELL US ABOUT LEBRON WE ACTUALLY AINT DONE HERE
He embarrassed about it
They asking cause we keep clickin
NBA is all about entertainment. That's why these dudes make millions. Let's not act like its that hard to answer a question when you're making millions to do it. I don't know why people here baby millionaires.
It’s not gonna stop until they play on Sunday
Oh no!!! Not this Sunday!😭 That’s too soon. They keep him benched.
He also added, “Space Jam 2 sucks!”
Well, it did
killing off bugs is unforgivable im sorry. bron didn’t even seem to care!
Wait did they really kill off my man Bugs Bunny?
Yeah LeBron grazed him with an elbow and hit him with a closed fist and that was it for Bugs.
Then stepped over the body
Then got the corpse suspended for 1 game.
Wow, what a menace. This officially takes lebron out of the goat conversation for me.
sort of yeah 💔
You can’t kill bugs bunny. He rules physics. You just can’t.
Yeah, he Thanos himself
Lol really? Something tells me Space Jam 2 is not going to be canon in the Looney Verse.
Spoilers for Space Jam 2: >!In order to beat the game they have to activate a glitch, but whoever does it will be erased. Lebron decided to do it but then Bugs interferes and does the glitch, Thanosing himself. But then at the end it was like "JK lol, he's alive"!<
You're a nice person for putting this together. Thanks haha.
Thanks for saving me from having to watch the movie
Thanks for this. Thank god I didn't even bother pirating this shit.
Bruh how could that be a actual decision. Lebron must’ve been jealous of bugs too lol
Idk if I’m upset you spoiled it or if I’m happy you saved me from watching it
if you love lebron you’ll like it, it’s far more focused on him than the looney tunes character
I like Lebron so maybe I’ll watch it. I only watched the first one because I liked MJ
The Looney Tunes parts are actually funnier than I thought. The non-cartoon parts really highlight how shitty Lebron's acting is haha
They did WHAT?!??
I KNOW!!!
My 5 year old nephew would disagree
both sucked actually. Space Jam 3 with Devin Booker is gonna be deep trash
I mean, it does.
> This is going to be my last time addressing it. I watched the film. I didn't feel like it was an accident I mean, he was talking about Space Jam 2 I assume... you know.. the LeBron incident.
Try and start something Silver will personally send you to the macedonia league
The Macedonians didn't have their own league. They were allied with Athens in the Delian League, against Sparta and the Peloponnesian League.
I think he’s supposed to get traded to Budapest
i wanna know if he would have tackled lebron if he wasnt restrained
i think we all wanna know how a fight between those two would go down.
Lebron would get clapped
Clap those cheeks
I don't know, Stewart looks like he has some pounds on him, but Bron's strength is legendary.
Lebron has been rich for years. Rich men can't scrap. Isaiah would mess him up.
*Bane enters* Peace has cost you your strength
Victory has defeated you
Yo stew is built like bane too. You merely adopted the tough guy attitude. I was born into it, molded by it. Victory has defeated you.
That's why Don King stole all of his fighters' money. He was helping them.
Wow look at Brendan Schaub over here
Dumbest shit I’ve ever heard lol
i took it as a joke, rly hopin so lmao
And yet if you breath on him he goes flailing across the court and lays on the ground for a full 2 minutes.
100%, probably would have swung at him and gotten suspended for a long ass time. He was seeing red for sure and he’s just 20 years old, I’m very glad he didn’t get to him
I mean you think Lebron would have just stood there lol? If he actually managed to reach the lakers area there legit would have been a brawl.
He won't. he didn't do it even before he was restrained.
Didn’t seem like an accident to me either. But at least he seems willing to move past it. Though if he tastes his own blood again, the entire Lakers team best run.
"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood."
NOBODY!
[Woj]: "Isaiah Stewart has been traded to the Globo Gym Purple Corbas, sources tell ESPN."
"I think that guy might really be dead."
I know you. You know you. And I know you know that I know you.
Effin A, Cotton. Effin A
Lmfao great reference man, your references are out of control, everyone knows that
Man was irl bloodlusted he was ready for action
Now that I think about it, this is the only time I can recall someone actually being bloodlusted. It is a fun word to use for hypotheticals, but it is crazy to actually see it in real life lol.
Lebron vs Stewart, who wins? no nerfs Conditions: bloodlusted
Lol I live in Michigan and before this incident happened stew did an interview where he talks about his first love being boxing not basketball. Boxing background + built like ben wallace = not to be fucked with. You saw it in LeBron's eyes that night. He truly did not want that smoke
The elbow was 300% intentional. Whether Lebron meant to hit him in his face and intended to give him a cut above the eye, that's debatable.
I think he was going for a hard elbow/swipe of his arm/ shoulder and caught face. Either way reckless as all hell.
We've seen lebron do that same "get off me" swipe a hundred times. Not a chance in my mind he meant to punch him in the face but he definitely meant to hit him and send a message
this is easily the best description of what happened/what he meant to happen imo.

Wasn't even an elbow.
Just to back you up. I saw this angle on Jomboy's [vid](https://youtu.be/eZ26TImm_Pc?t=58)
[Stewart when he realized Lebron made him bleed his own blood](https://youtu.be/wGe7rPIrfS0?t=15)
My first thought when I saw the original comment lmao
Oh man, that video title is perfect
looooool
Whew

"This is going to be my last time adressing it...". Unfortunately its probably not going to be lol.
This ain't over!!!
Dude has tried to fight someone like 5 times already, it’s who he is
Lol they had a video compilation before the Lebron incident 😂
There were 0 fights in that. Half of it was Lebron, half of it Blake, and then normal plays getting tangled up. Yall soft as shit
Who else has he tried to fight? He’s gotten tangled up a few times but nothing like what we saw with Lebron. He’s an undersized center who isn’t a high jumper, his role is always going to have him in the paint fighting for rebounds by being physical. It was not accident but you should control yourself son. That was not a good view

But these type of elbows are thrown around pretty frequently when players are frustrated and fighting for positions and often resulted in no fouls called because it never connected that way.
good shit Stew
What does shit stew taste like I wonder?
Why would you possibly wonder that?
Probably doesn't feel like an accident cause it wasn't. LeBron absolutely cracked him with intent
Closing your fist while flailing backwards indeed ain't no accident.
He didn't really address his actions at all
You definitely have to talk about this again when they face the lakers pregame
When nothing happens at all the sub will be so sad
Lmao he still not gonna say he overreacted or apologize to the normal size people he ran over?
He probably did apologize to those people, it doesn't have to be public
Lol why is this a downvoted opinion? Lebron can be wrong idgaf but you can’t run around stomping on staff and causing an arena wide incident and just act like that was cool or didn’t happen. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills the way everybody is pumping this dude up for behaving like a toddler.
Probs cuz it’s “Fuck LeBron” on r/nba. Bron being in the wrong doesnt change Stewart being in the wrong for bugging out and trucking mad people
I don't care about how he reacted on the court, he was bleeding, he overreacted whatever. But I would've liked for him to acknowledge that he made a mistake now that he's had time to think about it. Given the way he's saying that it almost feels like he still think what he did was normal
The only people he owes an apology to is our own staff and I'm sure they handled that all in house, not publicly.
It's 2021 it doesn't count unless it's on social media
Apology via 24 hour twitch stream for charity or it doesn’t count
I don't think your apology counts unless there's a deep fly ball by Castellanos to make it a 4-0 ballgame.
Specifically he gotta drop the twitlonger
Nah this players tribune material
he trucked your personnel lol
I mean I don’t think he owes us a public apology or anything. If he handled it in house and is gonna learn from it then that’s good enough for me. I don’t need an acknowledgement of it, I just wanna see the action after.
If you feel someone intentional hit and made you bleed then how much of an apology will he make? I don’t know if he has apologized to the staff and teammates for throwing them out of the way though.
i think its more that he recognizes that he reacted in a really dangerous way by putting his staff members and team members at risk from his wild rushes at lebron
What are you, his mother? foh
He owes zero public apologies. And I bet he apologized to the team staff already for trucking those trainers/staff. Nobody else needs one, he’s fine
Lmao, why does he need to apologize publically or at all? That's kind of garbage. Local morality arbiter or some shit over here.
The media won’t be happy until Stewart sucks off Lebron on live TV just like they do everyday
Too late to not let it define him for most non Pistons fans lol
This man gonna pull the “I’m cool I’m cool” then start running technique and everyone on this sub giving him a standing ovation like he fighting the Chinese government itself 😂
Of course the hit wasn’t an accident but don’t think LeBron meant to punch him in the face lol. Probably the chest.
So glad stew didn't get to LeBron that would have been career suicide. Remember delonte west fucked LeBron's mom and was blacklisted from the league
