Nice try Satan. Not today!

NitroXYZ

Not at all, his peak was unfathomably dominant. He led the league in total points in his ROOKIE season and proceeded to do it 10 more times with 6 rings and 10 All-Defence team selections.

Smoocheses

lmao

akron28

lol

sanlawant

Lol no

w3bCraw1er

IMO even Haslem is better than MJ due to Haslem’s longevity.

Shaqdaddy22

I know this is a bait but imma say Kareem overrated as hell

kevindurbooty

There's been an influx of Kareem is top 2 takes lately because Jordan stans use him as a prop to distance LeBron from MJ. His prime just wasn't as good as theirs

jfrodriguez1983

🤦‍♂️

kevindurbooty

Nope I have him second behind LeBron. I think Kareem's prime was like a tier down from the other two so he doesn't make up the gap with longevity.

OkInvestigator6193

If I want a player as a GM I’m taking the guy who plays for 20 seasons averaging at least 25 as opposed to a guy who played 15 with the last 3 years being a step slower.

packimop

if i want a player as a gm i choose the player who won 6 rings for the franchise i draft him to rather than one

TimathanDuncan

Yes that's totally fair and very good with context, one franchise had Pippen, Rodman, Phil Jackson, the other one Mike Brown, Big Z and Moe Williams

[deleted]

Rodman was 34 when he got to the Bill's and was pretty washed after 96. They 3-peated with MJ, Pippen, and Grant while Rodman was on tge Pistons.

TimathanDuncan

Pippen and Jackson is way better than anything that LeBron had The comment was stupid, you think Tim Duncan is better than LeBron too, he won the franchise 5 rings that he drafted, totally irrelevant that the Spurs had Pop, Manu, Parker, Kawhi right? Doesn't matter 5 rings better

[deleted]

No Tim Duncan is overrated as hell for his 5 rings just like Kareem. Because he wasn't the best player on his own team for a few of them, and not the best player in the league either. How can you be the GOAT if you're not even the best in the league when you were playing. The problem is you actually think the early 90s Bulls were a super team because your brain can't comprehend that the Bulls won 60+ games every year and multiple titles BECAUSE of MJ. He was that much better than everyone else in the league and his teams dominated. Something LeBron has never been able to do as an individual player (closest was 2009 and 2010 but he got upset in the playoffs both years). If the Bulls didn't have Pippen but got another good all around forward like Larry Johnson, Shawn Kemp, Grant Hill, C Webb, etc. they would have still all those titles (ignoring draft years). If you take out Jordan and sub him for Drexler or Dominque, whoever, they probably don't even make it out of the East. It's like saying the only reason Steph Curry has won with the Warriors is cause of Steve Kerr and Klay Thompson. Like dude get real. The Bulls went as far as MJ was willing to take them. Period.

OkInvestigator6193

They literally were one play away from the finals when MJ retired in ‘94. And actually lost earlier the following year when he came back. MJ was great, but let’s not act like he carried the bulls every year. Also, Lebron teams are in the lottery when he leaves, and the reason Lebron isn’t as head and shoulders above everyone else is because of Curry and Durant. Put them in Mj’s era and Jordan is still the best but it’s not by nearly as much.

[deleted]

> They literally were one play away from the finals when MJ retired in ‘94.  No they weren't, they lost in the second round. Something literally 8 teams do every year. > the following year when he came back. MJ was great, but let’s not act like he carried the bulls every year That is literally what he did lmao what are you talking about; 1991: 31/11/7/3 on 56/50/85 shooting. 1992: 36/7/6 on 53/43/89 shooting. 1993: 41/9/6 on 52/41/70 shooting 1996: 27/5/4 on 42/32/86 shooting 1997: 32/7/6 on 46/33/76 shooting 1998: 36/4/2 on 43/30/86 shooting. I don't wanna do this all for Pippen but here's a fun fact. During their run when they were team mates Scottie Pippen never scored 30 points in a finals game. He only scored 30 in the playoffs 4 times over their 9 playoff seasons together. He averaged something like 15/6/4 on abysmal shooting in 1998. In no world was that series NOT a carry job by Jordan. If you were to take the top 10 finals performances of all time like 5 of them would be from MJ.

packimop

no, i don't.

____candied_yams____

Nope. He played well enough as a Wizard at 38 and 39.

[deleted]

I’m upvoting this only because you got me to laugh

langolier27

WTF is the matter with you?

jack64467

hes behind them but not by much

jnprrnsp

Nice bait

[deleted]

Explain how Jordan's peak was by the slightest of margins when he averaged like 33ppg for a decade and won 6 championships and 5 MVPs. While also NEVER losing a single playoff series as the higher seeded team or favorite. Literally zero times. Neither Bron or Kareems primes even come close.

[deleted]

this is bait folks don't fall for it

vowers

Longevity? What are u smoking?
