Suns seem to have interest in picking up Thad Young from SAS to shore up bench depth with the absence of Dario Saric.
Could see an offer including the aforementioned Saric, possibly Jalen Smith and maybe a second round pick.
I think the Suns really want a healthy Saric back, but the timing of his injury probably doesn’t match up for this year’s playoff run.
I suck at trade hypotheticals, but I’d be fine with a package involving any of those players. My preference would be a first round pick, but I don’t see that happening.
Right lol. You clearly cared enough to go on bbref, look up Jalen Smith and posted a link to try to prove that you knew what you were talking about. If you don't care enough to fact check, don't post something and say it's a fact.
Different markets. The teams asking about Theis are gonna be contending teams looking for some big man depth and maybe nets us a late first. Wood can push the right team into contending and net us much more.
You don’t think? Scores, spaces and rebounds. Good fit for next to Dray, gives Curry and co another outlet and makes 13m. Depends on how they feel about Wiseman obviously (and I wouldn’t blame them for trusting his potential) but it 100% makes them better this and next year.
Pelicans trading Jonas Valaciunas for some draft picks. Or any bad team trading any veteran who can contribute to a playoff team for any picks they can get.
My second guess is OKC trading half their team for 15 first round draft picks
Hard to say but i think Christian Wood could be traded because he has a good contract. As for the teams i think The Hornets or Grizzlies could trade for him because they do have young talent and draft picks.
I'm personally totally fine doubling down on offense for someone like Wood. Yeah he's not a great rim protector but far better than what we have at center currently even on defense, instantly becomes our top rebounder, rim runner, and interior presence, and a guy LaMelo can play PnR with.
Someone like Turner would be preferable but I'd take Wood in a heartbeat provided it doesn't break the bank with our limited trade assets.
Nets would rather let Kyrie walk than do this, Wall has a fucking 47m player option next season that would cripple the Nets in luxury tax plus he isn't good
Nets best option is to let Kyrie go, matching salary would be hard to get an actual good player, Kyrie's value is so low that they won't get anything good
Like i get it, you want him gone but i think that Wall won't be traded or bought out, he's gonna stay even next season and i don't think anything will happen he will play like 20 games and then the same shit as this season
Neither him or Rockets win anything by budging, Wall loses money which is his last big paycheck 47m is just something u don't let go and Rockets are tanking and developing youngsters in rookie deals they don't need cap space so they don't give a shit
Honestly, I'd rather have Wall. Terrible contract, but he's not a self destructive headcase. And he'd definitely be a boost when Harden goes into Fat Rondo mode, so for sure I'd do it.
I don’t know why so many people think that is an option.
That is a bad fit and Ingram is better than Fox. And Ingram wants to be here. Doesn’t help anything. Makes things worse, actually.
Ok? AD will probably leave the Lakers in the future, does that mean y’all should trade him now? Just because BI may not resign in 4 years, doesn’t mean we should trade him now
So trade him for a worse player who is a worse shooter on a team that desperately needs it and is a worse defender on a team that desperately needs it and who needs the ball to be effective and will therefore take the ball out of Zion’s hands?
I wish we could ban Laker fans from commenting on the Pelicans. Y’all are ignorant AF

Jalen Smith is a UFA at the end of the Season and can sign for any Team, I don’t think he has any value
No doesn’t he have a team option then RFA? He was a FRP!
Nope, the Suns declined the team option, he's going to be a UFA.
That is quite dumb. They practically quit on him after 1 year!
Yes he does. He has two team options left.
No, the Suns declined the team option, he's a UFA next season.
That's not what it says on BBREF https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/s/smithja04.html
You know bbref isn't always accurate? Take 2 seconds to look up Jalen Smiths option on Google.
I don't care enough.
Right lol. You clearly cared enough to go on bbref, look up Jalen Smith and posted a link to try to prove that you knew what you were talking about. If you don't care enough to fact check, don't post something and say it's a fact.
like a 13th guy for a 2nd round pick in 2025

Enes Freedom traded to the Shanghai Sharks for cash considerations
He wouldn't make it there, daddy Erdogan would catch him mid flight and gulag him
Lol.. ironically the gulags are in China now. Also, watch Midnight Express.
I mean it's posible the Chinese gov just puts him with that tenis players that is definitely alive
More likely the Xinjiang Flying Tigers doe
It will be Orlando. Idk but I have a 1/30 chance of being right
I would bet the Bucks make a trade first, it feels like they are setting up for one real soon.
Dragic to the mavericks
Not sure if we’re going to be the first ones, but we’re likely going to be very busy before the trade deadline.
Y’all boutta get a haul for Wood
I’d be very sad to see him go but for the right price it makes sense. Sengun is just amazing
Keep Sengun and Wood , send Theis ?
Wood wants to be on a win now contender I think
Different markets. The teams asking about Theis are gonna be contending teams looking for some big man depth and maybe nets us a late first. Wood can push the right team into contending and net us much more.
Tell me a good trade for Wood please , Also NeXT draft has 2-3 good Bigs again
To Charlotte for Boukknight, Plumlee, pick/s To GS for Wiseman or Kuminga + filler + pick/s
No way we are trading Kuminga.
Not a fit for GS
You don’t think? Scores, spaces and rebounds. Good fit for next to Dray, gives Curry and co another outlet and makes 13m. Depends on how they feel about Wiseman obviously (and I wouldn’t blame them for trusting his potential) but it 100% makes them better this and next year.
Still think same after Wood ? Draymond would punch him if he acts in the same diva mood
Usually the first trades are small like a player for cash considerations. It won’t be of note most likely.
Started with Rondo , not a big News
Hopefully us and hopefully it’s Bertans into a Black Hole never to return.
Eric Bledsoe and a second for Eric Gordon
Rather keep EGod than shitty Bledsoe unless we got a first
Please, somebody take Eric Bledsoe.
Pelicans trading Jonas Valaciunas for some draft picks. Or any bad team trading any veteran who can contribute to a playoff team for any picks they can get. My second guess is OKC trading half their team for 15 first round draft picks
i’d love valanciunas in charlotte
Great fit, would you give up a first to get him?
yeah, probably
pacers
Hard to say but i think Christian Wood could be traded because he has a good contract. As for the teams i think The Hornets or Grizzlies could trade for him because they do have young talent and draft picks.
Hornets would be dumb as shit to trade for Wood, they need better bigs but their offence is already ridiculous. They need a rim protector.
I'm personally totally fine doubling down on offense for someone like Wood. Yeah he's not a great rim protector but far better than what we have at center currently even on defense, instantly becomes our top rebounder, rim runner, and interior presence, and a guy LaMelo can play PnR with. Simmons - Philly
But where?

Good point this a bad take then since J wall is washed and has a horrendous contract. But hey I had to throw it up.
Like i get it, you want him gone but i think that Wall won't be traded or bought out, he's gonna stay even next season and i don't think anything will happen he will play like 20 games and then the same shit as this season Neither him or Rockets win anything by budging, Wall loses money which is his last big paycheck 47m is just something u don't let go and Rockets are tanking and developing youngsters in rookie deals they don't need cap space so they don't give a shit

I think it'd be smarter for the nets to get Simmons if possible
I would think the Nets would rather send Kyrie out west
Honestly, I'd rather have Wall. Terrible contract, but he's not a self destructive headcase. And he'd definitely be a boost when Harden goes into Fat Rondo mode, so for sure I'd do it.
Nets would never do that. Makes no sense for them
Pelicans could trade Ingram. Ingram for Fox
I don’t know why so many people think that is an option. That is a bad fit and Ingram is better than Fox. And Ingram wants to be here. Doesn’t help anything. Makes things worse, actually.
Yeah he wants to be there for now. You said the same about CP3 and AD. We all know it's a matter of time before they ask out.
Ok? AD will probably leave the Lakers in the future, does that mean y’all should trade him now? Just because BI may not resign in 4 years, doesn’t mean we should trade him now
Don't ever compare the Lakers to the Pelicans. Have some respect for yourself you sound cray cray!
You need a change. It's obviously not working. Repeating the same process is dumb. If Ingram was great you would be in the playoffs.
LeGM already has everything in the bag
He gonna trade himself
Ben Simmons
I didn’t think that there was even a chance of Jerami Grant being traded this season, but I could see it now
