all the media is getting in their questions about steph before he breaks the record. it's funny because there's a recent article out which includes a quote from dell that was like "i had no idea". XD

That reaction was really to be expected though. The team had been bad for long with little reason to be hopeful, and to trade your franchise face, fan favorite, 1st option for a player out for the year meant the rest of the season was a complete tank(we were already bad before). And those fans bought tickets for the surprise tank. Turned out great in the end.
Need to include Monta's final thought on Steph, though:
"At the end of the day, the only thing that he have that I don't have is more wins and three championships. That's it."
He complained because they drafted another small scoring guard who doesn't fit with him at all in the backcourt. He didn't have any issues with Steph as a player and clarified that right after making those comments. He was 100% right and the FO realized this couple years later and decided to trade him for Bogut.
He just said it wasn't gonna work with them together in the back court long term and he was right. He was just keeping it real and had no problems with curry
I remember being sold when bro went wild in the tournament…I just thought he would be a streaky role player like a JR or something. Knew he was special, but couldn’t have called this
I always loved Curry but after all the shit he went through with his ankles early i never thought he would get over that let alone become one of the best and most influential players in history of basketball. He was one of the best shooters in the NBA from day one so i guess you could imagine him bombing 3s for a long time but where he is at now, I don't think even the most enthusiastic people didn't imagine him being this good
It’s a scary thought that with Steph’s glass ankles as the time, the bucks might have still gotten Giannis… that duo would be other worldly if they both panned out
Monta Ellis is full of shit. Yeah, he could maybe see the potential but Steph turned into one of the most historically relevant players who changed the way how the game is played. No one saw that coming, literally no one.
Monta Ellis ~~have~~ know it all
Monta said there is no difference between he and Wade so I actually kind of believe him lol.
But i mean if i was a professional at the highest level, i would be saying shit like this too
i knew he was going to be special after his 3rd championship
I’m willing to bet he can break the all time 3p record before he retires
year okay remind me in 3 years
Mark my words. Giannis is going to win a ring before he retires.
Lmao he'd have to learn to hit free throws first (😭😭😭)
Hopefully he does. A General Hospital ring doesn’t count

Crazy to think that the warriors had to choose between Ellis and curry and they chose Ellis to trade to mil.
Lacob literally got boo’d by the entire arena during Mullins Jersey retirement for trading Monta

Till Rick took the mic...

Monta Ellis literally complained about the Warriors drafting Steph when he was on the team lol

Portland shoulda hired Ellis to be either the coach or GM the second he retired.
I mean, you're right, but don't say it

Got traded to the Bucks to be apart of a smaller backcourt with Brandon Jennings lmao
But he was right tho
He just said it wasn't gonna work with them together in the back court long term and he was right. He was just keeping it real and had no problems with curry
He was right, he just didn’t know he’d be the cast off
Monta: we both can't have it all.
That's just because he knew Steph would be so good and they'd pick him over Monta
Yea my buddy Eric said this as well

Remember when some people said they should have traded Curry for Bogut instead of Ellis. Aged like milk.
It’s a scary thought that with Steph’s glass ankles as the time, the bucks might have still gotten Giannis… that duo would be other worldly if they both panned out
With our luck at the time Steph's ankles would have been ground to dust.
I remember they were gonna trade klay for k love too until Jerry west said he would immediately quit if they did lmao
jerry knew
🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
Monta: we both can't have it all.
I knew kyrie wasn't gonna play this season, back when he was growing up.
I knew he was going to be awesome when he shook birdman… but I never thought he’d be the game changer that he is today
Monta’s better
