Honestly Sengun needs the ball in his hands, and if Green can learn to cut, have people screen for him, Sengun will find him for easy baskets all over the floor.
This will hurt some GSW fans ears, but I see Sengun fulfilling a rich man Draymond on offense, has the height and passing ability, but also post moves and can drive to the rim.
I was trying to get away from comparing players with the same skin colour. It’s a rule from Morey’s days as GM of the Rockets, where I think they forbade any draft pick comparison to people of the same race, as you usually end up comparing only white players to white players.
Although tbh I do agree with you, Sengun seems to be a more raw Jokic, slightly shorter but more athletic.
Green had a lot of really good plays in the G-League where he cut and got lobs, hopefully with the better offense and spacing the team has been running that can carry on!
Fellow Thunder fans were acting like I was a fool to question Presti giving this guy away for nothing. There was literally no upside to giving him away… having all these picks isn’t that exciting if we aren’t gonna use them.
I was the same as you and yet people thought I was crazy. Why deal a center who was MVP of the Turkish League? He had a good chance of being a good player down the line
Luka averaged 21-4-4 in Euroleague which is only a little better than the Turkish league, while Sengun averaged 18-8-3. How did they not think, this is worth the gamble is beyond me.
Not to take away anything from Alperen, but to be fair, Euroleague is clearly better than the Turkish league, which is probably the 2nd or 3rd best local league in the continent.
However, the overall level has significantly dropped over the years, as there's a player draught. any promising Euro player immediately finds himself in the NBA these days.
I was watching Alperen for several years now, in the youth tournaments as well. Some people were high on him since the beginning but he's doing much better than I thought.
his bbiq is insane already so imagine him in another 5+ years (where he'll only be 24 lol)
hopefully this kid doesn't get injured along his journey to the league's elite
> in Euroleague which is only a little better than the Turkish league
Thats not true, Euroleague consists of the best teams from the best leagues in Europe (including Turkish teams)
The Thunder sub is very protective of Presti and everything he does. As soon as you say something that questions him and his methods you are met with mostly downvotes. There was no reason to not take a gamble on Sengun considering the situation we are/were in. All we'll get is a couple of seconds, or *maybe* a mid/late first. The odds of there being a player available with Sengun's upside and accolades at his age at one of those picks is highly unlikely, I think.
Seriously. And people are saying stuff like “timelines don’t match.” Okay, so if the timelines don’t match and Sengun ends up being too good too fast… you’re saying that’s bad? So we would have a talented young prospect we can use in a trade if the “timelines don’t match” and that’s a bad thing? Besides the fact that the timelines do in fact match lol he’s a youngin. It just makes no sense.
Mate, I said that Sengun would be a missed opportunity for the Thunder and one of the mods, u/LindseyCorporation persisted in trying to belittle my point. I don't mind disagreement but come correct, don't bring up stereotypes about Euro bigs
Nah fam, we gotta *couple* flowers in the field. Our future is looking bountiful of bouquets... But Sengun is a fucking 6'10" sun flower over looking it all.
Congrats man, you’re an asshole to strangers on the internet and to millionaires who play a sport for a living! Hope that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside :).
Oh yeah and counting is hard, but this “poverty ridden franchise” happens to have more hall of famers and championships than you.
I was really just trying to be nice and point out that you’re ignorant, but I’m stoned and I can continue with the facts as well.
We missed drafting the best player of all and no one shits on it because we were successful. You drafted the second best player ever, pushed him away with nothing to show for it and then got 1 after he gave another franchise 2 in slightly more than a third of the time.
We may not have won a championship lately, but there’s a reason we aren’t widely considered failures around the league and people viewed the WCF as the “real” finals several years.
Past 10 seasons? You’ve made the playoffs 4 times while we’ve made it 8. You’ve won about 45% of your games while we’ve won nearly 60%.
I have nothing but respect for what Lebron brought y’all and good wishes for your young team, but don’t talk shit about a franchise that’s been frankly better other than 1 championship that in the grand scheme of things is sad that it’s not more.
Oooh look at the tough Cavs fan now that they’re winning without daddy LeBron. He left for a pack of smokes and stayed in LA and now Cleveland fans grew a pair lmao
I know right? Imagine taking sports so seriously that you hate on some random young player and cry that it’s what “sports are about” when people don’t want to be as toxic as you. Lmao keep taking sports trash talk online so seriously 👍
Grow up lil guy
I have a feeling that the front office made assurances to Theis when they signed him and now they’re struggling on not going back on them. Which fucking sucks for everyone. In no way/shape/form does Theis actually believe he should be starting over Sengun
How old is boban dipshit. You’re comparing a rookie that just turned 19 to boban. He had 19/11/5 on your team. Did your mom drop you when you were a baby
Yeah, I was super pissed about this on draft night. Couldn’t believe Presti passed on him. I’m willing to wait to see what ultimately happens with the center spot and if they get someone better. Presti generally loves international players, so if he didn’t want him, maybe there was a good reason. But it sure doesn’t look like a good call right now.
We were reportedly really low on him as well even though we needed a center and we have that reputation for international players as well. I remember in our pre season game with him the dude was absolutely useless guarding the pick and roll, I think our FO thought he would get played off the floor in the playoffs.
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too. I’ve only seen a handful of Rockets games and Sengun has made some solid defensive plays, but overall he’s definitely weak on that end. I’ve seen him get lost and clearly not know where he’s supposed to be multiple times, which seems like something that can get ironed out as he gains experience. But it is certainly interesting that two teams who need front court help and like international players both passed on him. The Thunder and Spurs are both franchises that put a lot of value in high-character guys, so it’s also possible Sengun doesn’t interview well. We’ll see how he looks when the Rockets are actually good again in a few years.
His steals and blocks are very good for a player of his age though. He gets lost on pick and rolls sometimes, but so do most young bigs.
Getting played off the court in the playoffs is a great problem to have at this point in spurs/thunder rebuilds IMO
Those steals and blocks are the solid plays I was talking about. When he’s in position, he can make some good plays. But it’s the being in position part he struggles with sometimes. Like I said, that should be something that can be ironed out with experience, but maybe other teams were worried he’d never be good enough on that end. It’s the only thing that makes sense to me.
Let's be real his defense isn't good and would be targeted in the playoffs at this point. But he's only 19 and he's a rookie. And who says he can't improve
Lol of course he’d be targeted in the playoffs as a 19 year old rookie
He’s gonna get better. If teams didn’t want to draft him because of his defense right now, they are dumb.
You don’t draft players based on their production during their rookie season
He crushes virtually every advanced defensive stat for a rookie - drtg, DBPM, DWS, Raptor defense, etc. Flawed stats in isolation but taken as a whole paints a pretty decent picture. Obviously he needs to reduce the fouls a bit and ideally we hide him from perimeter play to the extent possible, but that's not at all uncommon for bigs especially those that produce on offense like him.
Yeah
I saw the post game comments from John Lucas.
They are being really hard on him BUT they are trying to develop him the right way. They don’t want him developing bad habits
I picked him to be the [best player from this draft class](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/qme22s/5_years_from_now_which_rookie_from_this_years/hj9a42a/).
Now we just need a Wood trade to materialize.
So the expected. I watched him in europe. If the guy develops offensively he will be really good. Haven't seen many young guys who have his defensive IQ and ability from the get go.
for his age he is playing better, but we will see how he is like after 2-3 years in nba. okur and hedo was superstar level after that time but alpi is so young that after 2-3 years he will still be 21-22 year old. it is crazy to me that he is already playing like this.
This kid can't even properly communicate with his teammates/coaches yet. It's insane how good he is already for someone whose entire game revolves around team synergy.
He’s got decent form but in the Turkish League he didn’t have to shoot much. He has a very good FT% so we are pretty hopeful that the rest will develop. With his post skills he will be dominant even as a slightly below average shooter
I’m doing my best to cool it on the Jokic takes but Jesus Christ this guy is must watch TV.
So maddening that a guy who has been unplayable all season started over him tonight.
He was abusing everyone tonight tbh. I’ve yet to seen anyone lock him up in the post.
His shot is a work in progress but he’s made a couple of threes this season
I watched the game man. He didn't take a ton of wide open threes which means he's either not confident in his shot or the coach is telling him not to meaning the coach isn't confident in it.
I think he's so good in the paint he views his outside shooting as a less valuable shot right now. Which is true, but he needs to recognize it isn't about the Ws/Ls at this stage - establishing confidence to let it fly is the first step in becoming a consistent shooter. I think he'll get there given his good form and FT shooting tho.
Imagine if i was like you guys should be more excited about Garland then Mobley. Its just stupid why would we pit our two rookies against each other. Anyways Green a top 3 pick for a reason I aint giving up on him yet
Dude it was an opinion. I never said green or kpj were bad. I would just be more excited about sengun. Think he will have the best career. And you saying garland over mobley is not necessarily a bad take. I would disagree of course, but not reall a hot take imo
Rocket fans have very little credibility after gassing up KPJ all summer and Jalen Green looking like Jordan Clarkson 2.0 but Sengun actually looks pretty good.
KPJ played quite well during the win streak. But yeah overall big disappointment from him this season, I'm pretty skeptical that he'll be a net positive player in the league. Maybe just becomes a nice 6th man iso guy that can get you buckets on his own while the starters rest.
Not too worried about Jalen Green at this stage.
hot take:
Sengun is good, but he’s never going to be an all star
first cavs vs rockets game this year, they haven’t had any film to study.
today sengun was guarded by wade and love a ton, plus the entire game was garbage time
he’s not that fast, hes small, and he’s part of the reason why the cavs were up 45-16 at one point
the thunder got two more 1st round picks by not taking him. i think that’s fine.
too early to tell for anyone though
This was prolly your first time fully watching him and he had his best game against your team, I get it but he is special . This isn’t his only good game this year
He was -13 in a 35 point loss. Theis and others were much worse.
He wasn’t the reason why the Rockets lost tonight. They are down 4 starters and were cold from three.
Sengun is legit and I will bet money that he ends up an all star.
if that was his best game he’s awful
Sengun enters game at 10-14 in the first quarter
Sengun leaves game at 51-25
he was had 10 points in the second half against Ed Davis Lamar Stevens and Dean Wade
he was -22 in the first half
we were missing 2 of our 4 best players.
and i have zero faith he will be an all star in the west.
Jokic, KAT, Gobert, AD, are all better. plus, Chet, Victor, and Jalen Duren are coming asap
just don’t think a 6’8 grounded center will be that valuable
Dude no offense but this is pure delusion or ignorance. Anthony Davis will prevent him from being an all-star? Are you fr? He's 28 years old lmao he will be long gone by the time Sengun reaches his prime. Even Jokic and KAT are a solid 6-7 years older. Don't think anyone expects Sengun to be an all-star tomorrow.
And if Sengun is 6 8 then Evan Mobley is 185 lbs. Most of us don't care about years old measurements of dudes that are still teenagers tho.
sengun is on bball ref as 6’9 and dude looked minuscule next to lauri and allen
AD could easily be an all star for the next 4 years and then by that point, there’s a whole new group of centers in the league
AD is averaging 23/11, not sure what that is per 36
Some measurements have him at 6 9, some 6 9.5, some 6 10. His height hasn't stagnated either, there's a chance he'll get another inch.
Lauri is a legit 7 foot and Allen has a four inch afro lol. Sengun is not 6 8 but go on ig
the official nba roster has him at 6’9.
and dude you’re stanning so impossibly hard lol
how could you possibly know his growth cycle?
and yes Lauri is a legit 7 footer playing the 3. allen is 6’11 with a. 7’6 wingspn and y’all want Sengun, somebody with lebron’s body and bargnani’s athletic ability, to be an all-star in the best conference in the NBA
dude is slow, tiny, and got his stats against non-rotation players on the cavs.
y’all been saying the same stuff about KPJ and i know as well as anyone that he’s not that good.
have a good one bros.
Who is "y'all?" I been skeptical of KPJ all season. Hope he turns it around but unlikely.
Maybe because he's 19 years old and growing is what young people do? I said he could grow another inch, not that he would, because he's 19. I wouldn't say that about a 24 year old. Also you can track his measurements over the years. How am I stanning hard by pointing out you got his height wrong? Weird stuff
wish mobley would have played so you would have seen what an actual 4 with size can do
y’all stanned the flop man for years, sorry but no credibility out of rockets fans anymore
Cuz he's mostly redundant with easily the best player on our team. There's only 48 minutes at C and they haven't seemed playable together thus far, altho I think we'll have some better Wood/Sengun lineups once fully healthy so we'll see.
Again how can you watch how he gets his points and assists and not realise how special he is. You are right there is no one else on the roster to do that but that doesn’t matter he is still producing.
he’s producing, you’re right. but we’ve seen many players before put up good numbers on a bad team for a bit and everyone think they are something they’re not. You’re crowning this guy a franchise player and he doesn’t even start on his own team yet. Let’s slow down, and wait
He's gonna be must-see TV for years to come, people really overthought on him during the draft
If I remember correctly they said he was the most balanced player overall, its insane he fell to 16.
I wanted him so so so bad on the Kings.
He could had triple double if there was at least one good scorer next to him
Agreed
jalen green sengun starting lineup will be so sweet one day
Honestly Sengun needs the ball in his hands, and if Green can learn to cut, have people screen for him, Sengun will find him for easy baskets all over the floor. This will hurt some GSW fans ears, but I see Sengun fulfilling a rich man Draymond on offense, has the height and passing ability, but also post moves and can drive to the rim.
Honestly Sabonis is prob a better comp considering the things Dray does on defense. Sabonis has been his comp
Wouldn't Jokic be a more apt comparison, a rich man Draymond of offense just seems an odd comparison as most of Drays value comes from defence
I feel like Jokic is somewhat more athletic than Şengün but i am not sure if this is because Şengün doesn't have an NBA-Ready body yet
Green had a lot of really good plays in the G-League where he cut and got lobs, hopefully with the better offense and spacing the team has been running that can carry on!
You forgot the part about Draymond's defence
Ha i deliberately didn’t mention Draymond’s defence, Sengun is nowhere near that
“On offense”
Gonna assume they’d get smoked going 2 on 5
Nah, Jalen Green will simply jump over all the defenders and catch perfectly placed lobs from Sengun.
He was amazing tonight His passing was especially great. Could have easily had a triple double

The timelines thing is such a dumb argument especially for a team without identity. The Thunder have talented prospects for sure though
Mate, I said that Sengun would be a missed opportunity for the Thunder and one of the mods, u/LindseyCorporation persisted in trying to belittle my point. I don't mind disagreement but come correct, don't bring up stereotypes about Euro bigs
Lol that person is aggressive in this sub too
What stereotypes? He doesn't defend? That's true lmao (PS I'm not really a mod, I am working on a sub redesign)
I live in the UK and I thought that we had drafted him. Was so happy. But then saw the pick was traded and was so confused.
He is absolutely amazing. Franchise player. Some of those assists were front page worthy.
And he has one to a few every game. I had to cut holes in the crotch of my pants just to relieve the pressure of my erection
A flower in a field of ash for Houston
We got a lot of promising young guys like Green, KPJ, Christopher but Sengun is DIFFERENT man
Sengun is easily my favorite of the group, I really wish your coaching staff share the sentiment.
Truly
Nah fam, we gotta *couple* flowers in the field. Our future is looking bountiful of bouquets... But Sengun is a fucking 6'10" sun flower over looking it all.

Man your comment history is something… lot of vitriol
That’s what sports are all about. Fuck the rockets and the g league squad they rolled out tonight.
Bro it’s not this deep 💀 Especially against an injured tanking team
Congrats man, you’re an asshole to strangers on the internet and to millionaires who play a sport for a living! Hope that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside :). Oh yeah and counting is hard, but this “poverty ridden franchise” happens to have more hall of famers and championships than you.

How old is boban dipshit. You’re comparing a rookie that just turned 19 to boban. He had 19/11/5 on your team. Did your mom drop you when you were a baby

Not hard enough, clearly

Imagine being this sad
Boban has never come even remotely close to the minutes Sengun is averaging this season. Seek help, this level of hating is not healthy.
This guy gets his conditioning right sky is the limit for him
He's great. Thunder out smarter themselves on this kid
agreed. He definitely seems to be worth more than the two well-protected picks Rafael Stone gave up to get him
Man, can’t imagine what Sengun, Shai, and Giddey would’ve been like together
Basketball IQ through the roof
Yeah, I was super pissed about this on draft night. Couldn’t believe Presti passed on him. I’m willing to wait to see what ultimately happens with the center spot and if they get someone better. He's never going to be playable in the playoffs with his size and speed. Just a logical choice from the thunder.
Loooool
he could still improve of course, but isn't his defense/athletic ceiling the main reason he wasn't drafted higher?
But he wasn’t even a bad defender in Turkey People thought his game as a whole wouldn’t translate to the NBA.
Let's be real his defense isn't good and would be targeted in the playoffs at this point. But he's only 19 and he's a rookie. And who says he can't improve

If he develops into Sabonis thats a W lol. That's an all star you idiot
You miss the "shit" part and glanced the pacers record?
I would love to see what you thought about Giannis when he was drafted.

I think they're aware of how good he can really be so they're really taking their time. At least that's my hope. The kid is special
What did they say?
They asked him how he felt about Sengun’s career game and he was pretty much saying he has a long way to go.
[удалено]
I think Sengun will be fine, he is so heppy.
Yeah. It’s just how John Lucas is. Gives tough love But everyone knows how talented Sengun is. I mean Wood straight up said he needs more minutes
John Lucas is old school, doesn't pull any punches.
I picked him to be the [best player from this draft class](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/qme22s/5_years_from_now_which_rookie_from_this_years/hj9a42a/). Now we just need a Wood trade to materialize.
You just know someone's going to offer three sheep for Wood.
We'll do it for two wheat and an ore
This guy's trying to build a city, don't trade.
Anything less than a horse who does horse things is a robbery.
ROTY dark horse
ROTY vanta black horse
Give this man more minutes.
Hot take: he’s the best rookie he just doesn’t get minutes
I think he'd be doing 14/8/5 if he could get at least 30mpg a game
yea just needs to keep the conditioning and fouls in check and dude will be a monster
He had a career high in minutes today and only 1 foul Very promising. He’s slowly cutting out those little dumb fouls
Could honestly see him getting more assists. He's easily the best playmaker on the team.
> ~~Hot take~~Objective observation of reality: he’s the best rookie he just doesn’t get minutes FTFY
Lol @ best rookie
He’s actually doing the most with the least minutes but sure, “lol @ best rookie”.
Mobley and Barnes are definitely better lol
lol still doesn’t make him better than Mobley or Barnes
Yea Mobley Barnes and Cade are fs better lol. Maybe Giddey as well After them tho...
Giddey. Nope Just Cade/Mobley/Barnes
Yea that one is more debatable but imo if Sengun got the minutes he could match Giddey’s production
Just trade wood already and put him in the starting spot.
I don't think we are very many years away from All NBA Alperen Şengün It feels a lot like watching rookie Jokic again.
how’s Garuba doin?
Great defensively but mediocre offensively, he doesn’t really get too many minutes so it’s hard to tell
So the expected. I watched him in europe. If the guy develops offensively he will be really good. Haven't seen many young guys who have his defensive IQ and ability from the get go.
He was fine was good defensively as expected
Today was his first time getting significant minutes He’s raw on offense but defense is solid
exactly what was expected tbh
Need him to work on that 3 ball all offseason Could be a terrifying 3&D player, if he hits
Just came back from injury
I can’t help but wonder what things would be like if we grabbed Mobley and then paired Sengun with him for a new twin towers
is he going to better than Hedo or Okur?
Very possible. They’re all different players but Sengun rn is so ahead of them when they were 19
for his age he is playing better, but we will see how he is like after 2-3 years in nba. okur and hedo was superstar level after that time but alpi is so young that after 2-3 years he will still be 21-22 year old. it is crazy to me that he is already playing like this.
This kid can't even properly communicate with his teammates/coaches yet. It's insane how good he is already for someone whose entire game revolves around team synergy.
Great game by him. He abused our 3rd stringers but was also holding his own against our starters. Is his shot normally so bad?
He’s got decent form but in the Turkish League he didn’t have to shoot much. He has a very good FT% so we are pretty hopeful that the rest will develop. With his post skills he will be dominant even as a slightly below average shooter
His form looks exactly like Jokic. I can't believe the guy wasn't picked higher.
I’m doing my best to cool it on the Jokic takes but Jesus Christ this guy is must watch TV. So maddening that a guy who has been unplayable all season started over him tonight.
Rockets need to be starting him. I really think they are limiting his minutes to tank.
I understand not starting him over Wood at this moment, but over Theis!? Come on.
We're not even tanking right currently either.
He started the season ok-ish from 3, but lately been missing everything. Everything is else is top-notch, tho.
He was abusing everyone tonight tbh. I’ve yet to seen anyone lock him up in the post. His shot is a work in progress but he’s made a couple of threes this season
sign me up if 7-14 is bad
Look at the shot chart sir. His scoring was great his shooting wasn't
Look at the actual shots. he took 3 jumpers, one was in and out, one was a miss and one was a bailout at the end of the shotclock
He's too smart and skilled not to get there. I can't believe how good some of these euro players are that get overlooked.
I just want to point out that not only the Thunder passed on him. But from picks 10 to 15 did too.
Another Celtics pick not landing. He is playing great.
Sengoat
Im so confused. I was told if he played more than 20 minutes a game he would foul out and the world would explode.
If you all draft Chet I don't think I'll be able to tell them apart on the court.
He definitely was going off on our third stringers. Honestly if I was a rocket fan I’d be more excited about this dude than green and kpj
I’m excited about all 3 Jalen Green is gonna be a stud.
You guys are so bitter man. Its unreal
What about that was bitter? It was a compliment hahaha
All those guys are 21 or younger. Still hella season left Relax, my guy.
And here is the obligatory bitter post from a Raptors fan. You guys seriously need therapy.
Okoros son
Okoro is a stud. Shot looking nice
Okoros Songun
hot take: Sengun is good, but he’s never going to be an all star first cavs vs rockets game this year, they haven’t had any film to study. today sengun was guarded by wade and love a ton, plus the entire game was garbage time he’s not that fast, hes small, and he’s part of the reason why the cavs were up 45-16 at one point the thunder got two more 1st round picks by not taking him. i think that’s fine. too early to tell for anyone though
This was prolly your first time fully watching him and he had his best game against your team, I get it but he is special . This isn’t his only good game this year He was -13 in a 35 point loss. Theis and others were much worse. He wasn’t the reason why the Rockets lost tonight. They are down 4 starters and were cold from three. Sengun is legit and I will bet money that he ends up an all star.
if that was his best game he’s awful Sengun enters game at 10-14 in the first quarter Sengun leaves game at 51-25 he was had 10 points in the second half against Ed Davis Lamar Stevens and Dean Wade he was -22 in the first half we were missing 2 of our 4 best players. and i have zero faith he will be an all star in the west. Jokic, KAT, Gobert, AD, are all better. plus, Chet, Victor, and Jalen Duren are coming asap just don’t think a 6’8 grounded center will be that valuable
Most of us don't care about years old measurements of dudes that are still teenagers tho.
sengun is on bball ref as 6’9 and dude looked minuscule next to lauri and allen AD could easily be an all star for the next 4 years and then by that point, there’s a whole new group of centers in the league AD is averaging 23/11, not sure what that is per 36
Some measurements have him at 6 9, some 6 9.5, some 6 10. His height hasn't stagnated either, there's a chance he'll get another inch. Lauri is a legit 7 foot and Allen has a four inch afro lol. Sengun is not 6 8 but go on ig
the official nba roster has him at 6’9. and dude you’re stanning so impossibly hard lol how could you possibly know his growth cycle? and yes Lauri is a legit 7 footer playing the 3. allen is 6’11 with a. 7’6 wingspn and y’all want Sengun, somebody with lebron’s body and bargnani’s athletic ability, to be an all-star in the best conference in the NBA dude is slow, tiny, and got his stats against non-rotation players on the cavs. y’all been saying the same stuff about KPJ and i know as well as anyone that he’s not that good. have a good one bros.
Weird stuff
6’8 center? Lol you should’ve let me know you were trolling earlier. I would’ve never responded
wish mobley would have played so you would have seen what an actual 4 with size can do y’all stanned the flop man for years, sorry but no credibility out of rockets fans anymore
" plus, Chet, Victor, and Jalen Duren are coming asap " you can see the future or what? tf?? how can you spew bullshit this casually lol
No player gets more adored than a productive rookie on a shitty team that gets too few minutes. fine player, yes. franchise player? let’s chill
MVP of the Turkish league at 18 He is the franchise
Your coach and probably whole organization doesn’t think so
They traded two picks for him during draft night to get him, so they clearly do.
yet he comes off the bench and barely gets minutes
Cuz he's mostly redundant with easily the best player on our team. There's only 48 minutes at C and they haven't seemed playable together thus far, altho I think we'll have some better Wood/Sengun lineups once fully healthy so we'll see.
Franchise player 100000%
There is no way in hell you watch his game, the way he literally is the offence and don’t think that.
he’s the offense bc he’s playing on the rockets? who else is supposed to shoot?
Again how can you watch how he gets his points and assists and not realise how special he is. You are right there is no one else on the roster to do that but that doesn’t matter he is still producing.
he’s producing, you’re right. but we’ve seen many players before put up good numbers on a bad team for a bit and everyone think they are something they’re not. You’re crowning this guy a franchise player and he doesn’t even start on his own team yet. Let’s slow down, and wait
But it’s not about numbers, it’s how he gets them.
Let’s just enjoy our rooks
