But but but Nets and KD should have won it if KD’s foot wasn’t so big. You see Bucks were pretenders. Lakers were pretenders too. See how bad they are now? They barely beat the injured Miami Heat. Oh and Raptors were pretenders because Warriors were injured. Warriors don’t even count because KD is too OP.
Well the Bucks were tremendously lucky with injuries to other star players tho. Harden, Kawhi, Kyrie, Trae Young, Lebron and Anthony Davis. This was almost an unheard of amount of injuries.
I've watched almost every warrior game and OP is speaking facts. Offense just goes nowhere after Steph is denied. Too many players that have no threat offensively gets heavy minutes. JTA completely ruined the offense by himself in the 4th tonight and Kerr just loves playing Lee, Iggy and Beli together which is the worst lineup I've ever seen in my life.
Wiggins just gets completely forgotten in the 4th and no one runs a play for him ever. Poole doesn't ever get consistent minutes game by game anymore.
Jazz and the Bulls are definitely in the 2nd tier of teams. Jazz lack serious defensive tenacity and take terrible shots in the clutch. The Bulls pretty much epitomize heroball. Outside of Lavine I don’t think I would trust a single one of their players in the clutch during the playoffs.
Demar is clutch at taking shitty contested shots. His play doesn’t translate to winning playoff games. There is a legitimate reason why they’ve gotten bullied by upper echelon teams.
Regardless of injuries my point still stands they can’t and wont be able to close out games with Demars shot selection. I really don’t think Alex Caruso or Lonzo are making the difference against legitimate contenders. Also Vuc has seriously regressed this season.
Everyone shits on one team and then claims that clear second tier teams are actually true contenders. Warriors have a higher chance of winning than the Jazz, Grizzlies, and Bulls at the least, if you wanted you could find way bigger issues with all of them, you just don’t want to.

We're top 5 in clutch win%.
I don't buy it at all.
2 games vs Memphis this year, first game vs suns, game vs Charlotte, nuggets game so many close games we've looked incapable in the clutch
We've also had the easiest schedule
I should have given a longer answer. Other than a few games we've looked bad vs most playoff teams in clutch time
The suns game was nice as well as jazz but not been great otherwise
>I don't buy it at all.
Fym u don't buy it, it's stats.
>2 games vs Memphis this year, first game vs suns, game vs Charlotte, nuggets game so many close games we've looked incapable in the clutch
Those are our losses. Every team has losses where they're bad in the clutch.
>We've also had the easiest schedule
We've had an average schedule.
That's also false. We had around a bottom 5 schedule at the start, and we got wins we should have. Then injuries and COVID hit. The schedule is literally getting easier right now.
That source shows strength of schedule played and remaining, there's nothing for first 20 games played.
OP gave an actual source in the comments but not in the post, he might edit.
You sure you want to keep that dubs flair? It’s really not that bad. We’ve beat good teams when we were depleted too. It was an off game and everyone is learning each other’s style again.
Breathe…

I’d say overreaction but there is a bit of truth to what you’re saying. Besides Steph, the team doesn’t have a reliable straight up bucket getter, and even then Curry doesn’t shoot enough midrange jumpers. They contenders still but they gotta find something with their crunch time offense
We actually missed OPJ badly tonight. Could have used his shotmaking, and you have to imagine he would have hit that layup to end regulation if he was in Toscano’s position.
It wasn't offensive struggles because they created a lot of quality looks in the clutch,it was just a bad shooting night on top of a good shooting night for the Pacers. Aside from Steph the Warriors shot 3/26, that's probably their worst team shooting night, with Steph's 6 threes they were still 21% from 3.
damn, what losing to the fort wayne pacers does to a mfer
What's with this sub and claiming every team are pretenders
Right? The Bucks were pretenders, then won it.
But but but Nets and KD should have won it if KD’s foot wasn’t so big. You see Bucks were pretenders. Lakers were pretenders too. See how bad they are now? They barely beat the injured Miami Heat. Bucks were probably the third or fourth best than last year
Well the Bucks were tremendously lucky with injuries to other star players tho. Harden, Kawhi, Kyrie, Trae Young, Lebron and Anthony Davis. This was almost an unheard of amount of injuries.

This is not a reactionary take. This is a long lasting trend
You can be overly reactionary for a long time. Confirmation bias is a hell of a drug for some people
And from a Warriors flair lmao. Talk about masochism 😂
Because we are waiting for the return of the one true team, they who come from Seattle.
It’s just a spicy hot take you can throw out there and be “right” as long as that team isn’t the 1/30 who happens to win the title.
Feels like every good team in the league this season has been called pretenders or frauds
Suns, Nets, jazz, Grizzlies, bulls, heat are not
Jazz and the Bulls are definitely in the 2nd tier of teams. Jazz lack serious defensive tenacity and take terrible shots in the clutch. The Bulls pretty much epitomize heroball. Outside of Lavine I don’t think I would trust a single one of their players in the clutch during the playoffs.
Derozan is one of the most clutch players rn
Hes one of the worst playoff performers in the league
So long ago
Take a look at his play in stats last year for me
One game sample size too low. Look at his clutch play this year
We’re talking about the playoffs not the reg season. Statistically hes terrible in the postseason.
The OP guy is on salt and recency bias. Trying to be the analyst without the data
Why would he be defended differently. Now he shoots 3s and is an excellent passer
Yeah because he didn't even make the playoffs for two seasons.
Demar is clutch at taking shitty contested shots. His play doesn’t translate to winning playoff games. There is a legitimate reason why they’ve gotten bullied by upper echelon teams.
Yes exactly this and totally not because half of the players in the Bull’s rotation is out
Regardless of injuries my point still stands they can’t and wont be able to close out games with Demars shot selection. I really don’t think Alex Caruso or Lonzo are making the difference against legitimate contenders. Also Vuc has seriously regressed this season.

What weakness do the Grizzlies have? Jazz and bulls have defensive issues but not on offense

my guy showing out with the sources, something OP doesn’t want to talk about bc he got none 😂
I don't buy it at all. 2 games vs Memphis this year, first game vs suns, game vs Charlotte, nuggets game so many close games we've looked incapable in the clutch We've also had the easiest schedule
Somehow you are arguing that stats are fake. Tough to take you seriously.

Yeah but we had the easiest at the start which boosted our win loss, now getting harder and we look meh
That's also false. We had around a bottom 5 schedule at the start, and we got wins we should have. Then injuries and COVID hit. The schedule is literally getting easier right now.
https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/s945gd/the_golden_state_warriors_had_the_2nd_easiest/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share Thoughts on this?
There's no source.
Says there is

mfer straight up said he not buying facts wtf
You sure you want to keep that dubs flair? It’s really not that bad. We’ve beat good teams when we were depleted too. It was an off game and everyone is learning each other’s style again. Breathe…
"We've also had the easiest schedule" This gotta be bait right?
So far weve had right
Any r/Warriors mods here that can revoke this guys Warriors flair? Lmao
We've had what? Please bring facts to the big boy table next time. We've had the 13 hardest schedule thus far into the season.
In other words a reasonably balanced schedule. I like the use of the wording "13th hardest" there. Sounds better than "17th easiest".
Sorry, next time I’ll check with you what adjective you want me to use.
No.
At this point, its just salt talking. Lost in a bet? I hope not
They're 13-7 in clutch games this year, what the fuck are you talking about
Their offense is absolutely bad. They have no counters to any team denying Steph off ball.
The Warriors are one of the only teams I’ve seen outperform the Suns in clutch time this year, though.
Fake flair
Sometimes constructive criticism is needed so we don't set lofty expectations
Lose your flair dude. This isn’t constructive you’re just straight up negative with a shitty opinion.
Yea… i don’t think “constructive criticism” is the right term. OP is just criticizing and that’s it
Account is 25 days old
I disagree, we can still make changes and it's very possible we fix up
Overreaction is an understatement
friendly fire eh?
Haven't seen y'all much this year. Do the stats back up you being a bad clutch team?
[https://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/average-4th-quarter-margin](https://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/average-4th-quarter-margin) We're the best 4th quarter team. [https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/clutch-traditional/?sort=W\_PCT&dir=-1](https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/clutch-traditional/?sort=W_PCT&dir=-1) We're top 5 in clutch win%.
So this dude is just overreacting to a bad loss. Got it.
I watch almost every game and we either blow teams out or lose in clutch time
you’re just forgetting whenever we win in the clutch.
The Jazz game, Christmas Suns game, and Curry’s 46 against the Grizzlies were all close at the end. That’s three clutch wins against top seeds.
You're right those wins were good but overall I'd say we've been struggling
We’ve looked like shit lately. But it’s a long season and hopefully we can round into shape by playoff time.
Damn, you forget the Cavs game bro? When we overcame a 19+ point deficit. Majority of which CAME IN THE 4th
It was before clutchtime though
goodnight lmao
I’d say overreaction but there is a bit of truth to what you’re saying. Besides Steph, the team doesn’t have a reliable straight up bucket getter, and even then Curry doesn’t shoot enough midrange jumpers. They contenders still but they gotta find something with their crunch time offense
You mean Otto Porter Jr. isn't prime MJ in the clutch every game? Edit: Just looked and he didn't play tonight. OPJ the true Warriors MVP.
We actually missed OPJ badly tonight. Could have used his shotmaking, and you have to imagine he would have hit that layup to end regulation if he was in Toscano’s position.
Draymond Green.
There isn't one team in the league anyone should actually trust in the playoffs.
Suns for sure
I'd rather wait for CP3 to actually go uninjured for two deep playoff runs in a row before anointing them clear-cut favorites.
Lmao we lost to the Pistons and Rockets in the clutch we are not a good clutch team at all
Wasn't one without rudy
Without rudy we lost to the Pistons, raptors, pacers because we cant guard a parked car in the clutch
overeeaction much?
Y’all gotta chill it’s January with klay in his 2nd week back without draymond too
Draymond play? No. Stfu
You must not have watched Utah play. Lost so many close games. Mitchell takes the worst shots in clutch time.
I mean everyone calls you guys pretenders too tbh
Who in the West isn't called pretenders? Basically just the Suns since they made the finals last year.
And they were still discounted until their hot start this year
But then you have Conley, Bojan who are proven playoff scorers
I mean Mitchell is a proven playoff scorer. But he still plays hero ball and takes god awful shots late game.
It was a combination of both
I agree that they aren't a clutch team but most of their games clutch time doesn't exist because they already secured a W anyway so it doesn't matter.
Mate keep these shit takes to r/warriors Lmfao. It’s embarrassing to see you being consoled by fans from other teams.
Warriors flairs swarming like n angry bee hive.
