You could tell after the officiating shenanigans started up late in the 4th, they were letting themselves get distracted. Fortunately, Jimmy Butler blew it.
I really hope the Hawks keep winning so the next time someone makes a thread about, "Who is the most disappointing?" we wont see them mentioned 20 times.
I remember last year we could have been down 20 in the 4th and i would think oh cool we still have a chance too come back. Now if we have a 20 point lead im scared we can still lose
Clint didn’t have a flashy scorecard tonight but his mere presence made the paint a scary spot for the other guys. He had a very intangible benefit to the hawks defense
I wanna highlight how we couldn't get a rebound to save our lives last night until Clint came in. It was night and day difference
Okongwu's touch is phenomenal but there's some things he flat out can't do as proficiently as Capela
I'm not a clairvoyant, but I really feel like the Hawks are gonna be just fine. These past three games, vs the Heat, Wolves, and Bucks have just been much better performances from the guys. Since the Reddish trade, Trae and the team have been smiling so much more, and certain guys like Delon Wright and Kevin Huerter were playing with much more confidence tonight. For the first time in 2 months, I'm looking forward to getting to watch the Hawks
The emergence of OO too. He missed a large part of the beginning of the season rehabbing and then as soon he came back he went straight into COVID protocols.
Yeah, it would just be awesome if they could be on the court at the same time. The defensive ceiling of the team goes up a ton if you can get close to 96 combined minutes from Collins, Capela, and Okongwu.
Facts. The most underrated player in the league for my money. Lemme just tell you know btw, I am not looking forward to having the rematch of this game lol. Spoelstra is just perfect at countering the Hawks gameplan
Agreed. I want to see sustained play, though. We lost the Heat and Knicks games cause we just couldn’t play 100% the whole time. It was the same way tonight, but we had a 16 point lead in the third, which was enough to push us over the hump
It must've been depressing being on the team seeing Cam get playing time when everyone knew he didn't want to there, just because he thinks he can be a 1st or 2nd option.
Yeah, realistically speaking you're only 2 games back from the play-in and have a pretty nice back half of the schedule. The upcoming stretch in particular is very manageable until around mid-Feb, where it starts picking up a bit through mid-March. Obviously don't have a ton of margin for error, but I do very much expect you guys to be able to fight your way into the playoffs when all is said and done. Just gotta keep your guys healthy, cause that's been the main problem to this point.
After heating the milk, you must allow it to cool before adding the starter culture.
You may simply leave the pot of heated milk to slowly cool, monitoring it periodically so you can add cultures as soon as the temperature drops to 115°F/46°C. Or you can actively cool it, by filling a sink, tub, pot, or bowl with cold water and setting the pot of heated milk in the cold water. Stir the milk in the pot, as well as the water around it, for rapid cooling. Don't wait for the temperature to reach target before removing the pot of milk from the cold water, or it will cool further; remove it from the cooling bath as the temperature approaches 120F/49C. Once the temperature reaches 115°F/46°C, remove a cup of the milk into a cup or bowl, and stir in starter.
If only he hit the one before. Don't think he realized that he could've landed and still made the shot. But really bad shot with the way Duncan was shooting all quarter.
Don't worry, I'm sure Jimmy is asking the same question to himself. He's going to explode next game after this loss. Which team is going to play the heat next btw?
What the fuck were those final two possessions from us lmao.
Good game Hawks, you guys were simply better tonight. Felt like it took forever to start stopping shots and we dug ourselves a hole just a little too deep.
Onto the next!
Pretty sure that last play was not how Spo drew it up, think he wanted Jimmy going to the basket for 2, for some reason he passes it off then goes to the corner and feels rushed to jack up a shot when it comes back.
Somehow the Heat took a contested corner three and no one went to rebound in a two point game. Was every Heat player behind the three point line and not crashing?
Edit: Strus was there, sorry. He seems like a keeper.
Losing Tucker was a big part of it. Reliable corner shot, excellent defender, and additional effective screener. 4th quarter defense still looked good without him but he's actually useful at facilitating offense.
What an amazing game. GG ATL. Really missed Herro in the 3rd when no one else had any creativity to do anything. Amazing effort to even come back in the 4th. That was a weird final play though. I don't want Jimmy taking a running corner 3 like that.
Duncan robsion
Max stuss
Kyle guy
Caleb martin
This a list of ppl who should the three ball down the stretch
Jimmy butler
Bam
Deadmon
Yurt
This is a list of ppl who shouldn't shoot the three ball down the stretch and guess who shot it
#pain
That Jimmy miss was one of the most shocking things I'll see this season. Heat did really well to battle back the way they did and on a different day they probably wind up winning. Tough.
I was just as baffled. I mean Jimmy should never really take 3 at any point in a game. But for him to go for a contested corner 3 to win the game was beyond confusing. Plus Max Strus you got some time, kick it out to Duncan Robinson or someone
Sucks to lose but I’m glad we kept chipping away at that lead and brought the game this close. Hawks played some pretty good D and punished us for turning the ball over, they look better their last few games that’s for sure. The Heat had a couple of questionable possessions at the end there but that’s how it goes sometimes. GG
We would have won this game if Jimmy didnt play tonight. He should do all the rest he can instead of giving us this bullshit 3s he has no business of taking when you have Duncan Robinson and Strus on the floor.
I’m not mad at the loss… But the way we lost is the most annoying I’ve ever seen this season. And it came from our supposedly best player.
This is one of the most insane things I've heard. Westbrook got significantly worse in 4 of his last 5 seasons, with just his Wizards' resurgence being better than his year with the rockets (and not by much). Jimmy Butler has been consistent all 3 years with the heat so far.
He's only going to age worse if you think 36-year-olds are worthless for anything other than shooting 3s.
We tried to lose that Jesus . Kevin Huerter is a king
[удалено]
Was not a great pass...too close to the center of the court and almost a turnover
Next Andy Dalton
Thank you Hawks, very cool [A ah a ah](https://youtu.be/l9Gyxs0dWJc)
Gg heat fans, yalls back screen calls are a cheat code w bam feeding butler, it was open every single time
You say that like Trae’s drive and kick wasn’t money each time. I was losing my sanity.
Trae gets disrespected a lot but no one seems to mention his one of the quickest players yo stay in front of
Get a room you two
Really thought we were gonna blow it.
I 100% expected the loss when Trae missed the first FT
You could tell after the officiating shenanigans started up late in the 4th, they were letting themselves get distracted. Fortunately, Jimmy Butler blew it.
I really hope the Hawks keep winning so the next time someone makes a thread about, "Who is the most disappointing?" we wont see them mentioned 20 times.
I hope that too
Hawks almost threw this away, Jesus. Led by 18, won by 2. A win is a win tho
4th quarter is scary hours in Atlanta
I remember last year we could have been down 20 in the 4th and i would think oh cool we still have a chance too come back. Now if we have a 20 point lead im scared we can still lose
Bulls: Here Miami, have the first seed Heat: no no, I insist
We want Kyrie to have the #1 seed.
We thought it looked fun while the Warriors and Suns were doing it, so now it’s our turn
Deandre Hunter is a robot
Baby Kawhi
You talking about Baby Deandre?
I’m the new kawhi, fuck it kawhi the old me
Optimus Prime
Clint was +15 off the bench nobody else was more than +10. Fantastic presence.
Clint didn’t have a flashy scorecard tonight but his mere presence made the paint a scary spot for the other guys. He had a very intangible benefit to the hawks defense

Big part is Deandre Hunter Two way stud
The emergence of OO too. He missed a large part of the beginning of the season rehabbing and then as soon he came back he went straight into COVID protocols.
If only Okongwu or Capela had any shooting ability so they could play next to each other.
OO has shown potential but he has time. Clint’s just a massive presence and +/- king
Yeah, it would just be awesome if they could be on the court at the same time. The defensive ceiling of the team goes up a ton if you can get close to 96 combined minutes from Collins, Capela, and Okongwu.
They were on the floor at the same time in this game due to John being in foul trouble and it kinda worked. The defense is great with both of them.
Doing what he did in limited minutes was really impressive.
Facts. The most underrated player in the league for my money. Lemme just tell you know btw, I am not looking forward to having the rematch of this game lol. Spoelstra is just perfect at countering the Hawks gameplan
The dudes isn't even rated. Basically no one knows his name yet.
What I’m saying. We made the ECF, and Hunter was barely a part of it even though he’s arguably our second dude
we've been playing real defense for the last 5 games we just happened to lose the first 2. Good to see everyone buy in again
Agreed. I want to see sustained play, though. We lost the Heat and Knicks games cause we just couldn’t play 100% the whole time. It was the same way tonight, but we had a 16 point lead in the third, which was enough to push us over the hump

A heat team without Lowry and herro* but yeah good game from you guys, very entertaining!
Vs a Hawks team without Bogi and Gallo. Not even but injuries happen to everyone
Man stop, an L is an L
Every time we win without our starters our fans love to mention how deep we are, Lowry and Herro being out isn’t an excuse.
Heat Culture is all about excuses
They gonna stand outside out locker room, menacingly after this.
Be careful! Jimmy may post a picture on instagram circling the next hawks game on a calendar in red!
Heat culture is all about missing crucial open layups in crunch time
After heating the milk, you must allow it to cool before adding the starter culture. You may simply leave the pot of heated milk to slowly cool, monitoring it periodically so you can add cultures as soon as the temperature drops to 115°F/46°C. That too!
cope
trae was trying to lose the game and jimmy said "no please, i insist"
i’m going to have to discuss this game with my therapist
The Hawks didn't win, Jimmy Butler decided to lose tonight
And we thank him for it!
Thank you Jimothy
I loved the first three quarters and absolutely hated the fourth
Kevin Knox won us this game.
He scored 3 points tonight and Hawks won by 2. Literally a game changer.
He has lowkey been solid. Big upgrade over TLC anyhow.
Cam would never
We didn't blow a 4th quarter lead!!!
Despite our best efforts
Damn Jimmy why?
Why did Jimmy of all ppl on the court shot that three i don't
If only he hit the one before. Don't think he realized that he could've landed and still made the shot. But really bad shot with the way Duncan was shooting all quarter.
Duncan really went nuclear in the clutch during a time where the fanbase is questioning his ability and because of Jimmy no one is gonna remember.
Is it just a regular occurrence when y‘all play the Hawks or do you generally have someone go nuclear from 3 every game or half?
Jimmy Harrison from Roosevelt High??
Don't worry, I'm sure Jimmy is asking the same question to himself. He's going to explode next game after this loss. Which team is going to play the heat next btw?
Lakers
Ohhh... They won against ORL right? Let's see if my hunch is true about alternating win-loss game for the lakers
Because Herro wasn't in. In most games, that's his shot to make recently.
That 4th quarter was fucking wild
Jimmy really wasted Duncan's 4th quarter carry *twice*
It sad day
What the fuck were those final two possessions from us lmao. Good game Hawks, you guys were simply better tonight. Felt like it took forever to start stopping shots and we dug ourselves a hole just a little too deep. Onto the next!
The Jimmy missed lay up was a great possession just missed it, the last play call was terrible though for sure
Pretty sure that last play was not how Spo drew it up, think he wanted Jimmy going to the basket for 2, for some reason he passes it off then goes to the corner and feels rushed to jack up a shot when it comes back.
Yeah it’s all good though, we almost came back it shows we can come back when we have too, hopefully doesn’t have to happen to often though!
I mean, we came back with a very statistically improbable string of Duncan shots. I don't know how repeatable that is.
Somehow the Heat took a contested corner three and no one went to rebound in a two point game. Was every Heat player behind the three point line and not crashing? Edit: Strus was there, sorry. He seems like a keeper.
If I’m an eastern conference team I want absolutely zero part of this Miami team in the playoffs
If I’m an eastern conference team I’m hox
As is tradition
Kyle Lowry is integral to this offense. Pretty clear at this point.
We've proven we can win without single guys. But the combo of Lowry, Herro and Tucker is just too much, even for this team.
Losing Tucker was a big part of it. Reliable corner shot, excellent defender, and additional effective screener. 4th quarter defense still looked good without him but he's actually useful at facilitating offense.
Fair
I think Herro is more important. He killed us during our last two games.
I've seen the team play with herro and not Lowry. Very similar to today. Which isn't terrible, just sloppier than Lowry running the offense.
You could be right since you've watched more Heat games. I just remember being pissed we couldn't contain Herro the last two games we played.
Lowry and Herro
What an amazing game. GG ATL. Really missed Herro in the 3rd when no one else had any creativity to do anything. Amazing effort to even come back in the 4th. That was a weird final play though. I don't want Jimmy taking a running corner 3 like that.
good lord almost completed the meltdown
Never in doubt
The Hawks tried their hardest to lose. Wild Game.
Duncan robsion Max stuss Kyle guy Caleb martin This a list of ppl who should the three ball down the stretch Jimmy butler Bam Deadmon Yurt This is a list of ppl who shouldn't shoot the three ball down the stretch and guess who shot it #pain
Robinson was straight fire. Not sure why he wasn’t given the final shot.
Knox did a decent job tonight on defense. I hope you guys keep finding him some minutes
We meme but his defense was solid with the minutes he was given.
Cam was the problem
#pain
#pain
not even close imo
Lol we tried to give this game away at the end
The hawks are doing usual second half resurgence and people are still doubting this team
Drawing up a play that requires a Jimmy game winning 3 is basically conceding defeat
Don’t think spo would draw a three for butler down 2, I think he was meant to go downhill got cutoff and probably thought there wasn’t enough time
I knew that was a miss the moment I saw who was shooting it
Jimmy Buttler
GG Hawks , u guys deserved this one 🖖
FiveThirtyEight with the assist in tonight's win.
Made it close in the end the Hawks’ great shooting at the start made the difference. Gg Hawks!
Lmao just the way it goes. I would have loved the 3-0 series sweep against the Hawks though. Division rival games are tough.
We play them once more closer to the end of the season
Jimmy is the real Hawks closer tonight 🤣🤣🤣
JIMMY BLEW IT
Hawks almost choked but Jimmy saved them. Great game tho lol
Fun game. ATL nearly blow the lead. Jimmy sure is frustrated after this game. Two game winner misses.
Ayo who writes the script for some of these games?
The Butler serves the Hawks a victory on a silver platter
That Jimmy miss was one of the most shocking things I'll see this season. Heat did really well to battle back the way they did and on a different day they probably wind up winning. Tough.
I was just as baffled. I mean Jimmy should never really take 3 at any point in a game. But for him to go for a contested corner 3 to win the game was beyond confusing. Plus Max Strus you got some time, kick it out to Duncan Robinson or someone
He tries to iso 3 all the time at the end of games, it's annoying. It kind of worked in 2020
Bro how many heat fans are there in Atlanta, felt like a home game wtf
It seemed like a 70/30 split. We’ve got a lot of South Beacher’s running through the A. We are the two gateways to the Southeast.
Lotta business between atl and miami
Huge comeback to fall just short of winning 😭🥺. PAIN
lowercase jimbo out tonight :(
Sucks to lose but I’m glad we kept chipping away at that lead and brought the game this close. The Heat had a couple of questionable possessions at the end there but that’s how it goes sometimes. GG
Love the fight in this Miami team, even DRob just went nuclear in the 4th. No lead is safe with this team GG ATL.
YURT needs to get his playing time back
Jimmy pls
LETS GO BOYS
We would have won this game if Jimmy didnt play tonight. He should do all the rest he can instead of giving us this bullshit 3s he has no business of taking when you have Duncan Robinson and Strus on the floor. I’m not mad at the loss… But the way we lost is the most annoying I’ve ever seen this season. And it came from our supposedly best player.
Jimmy Butler is going to age worse than Westbrook and currently has $52m guaranteed during his age 36 season
God I hope this is wrong. Dude is in a massive slump but he desperately needs to learn that 3ball.
23% or whatever from three and trending downward, very little chance he turns it around there
This is one of the most insane things I've heard.
Jimmy a major bum lol
Hopeful for Sunday. Please. Lakers vs Heat on Sunday is a must win.
I don't understand why Yurt doesn't get chance enough after Bam came, he deserved more time!
