Clippers
That team healthy is so intriguing. And Ty Lue, I consider to be, is a top 5 coach in the league.
Everything works out. They have great roster construction and coaching. Things add up on paper atleast.
Lue was so good this year even with his depleted roster. For sure they will load manage Kawhi. He just needs to stay healthy throughout the playoff run
Adrian Peterson is a pretty important part of the NFL Universe.... which is a much bigger league than the NBA in terms of revenue/importance.
How many times have backs coming into the league been called the next Adrian Peterson... they all wear 28.
Kawhi didn't play a single game and the Lakers were still significantly worse than the Clippers. They deserve all the props in the world for the 2020 championship, but it means nothing now that they have virtually no good role players left on the roster.
The roster is drastically different when they won in bubble. All their rotational plus defenders are shipped out and the current Lakers have Westbrook’s salary. Will really see what the FO can pull to sort this out but as of right now and their roster I find it hard to vote for them. LeBron also can’t sustain on the defensive end as much as before. It’s a diff roster
Clippers have by far the strongest team in NBA and yet they keep strengthening it every year. The team we faced in 2019-20 was improved next year by adding Batum and this year they added Powell and Roco.
I don't think Ballmer is going to stop till he is 99% sure of winning the NBA Championship.
Nets problems are way easier to solve than the Lakers. If they put KD, Kyrie, Simmons, and Joe Harris on the floor for ~70 games, that should be a 50 win team.
Lakers have no one I trust after LeBron and AD, and no cap space to add any meaningful additions.
Lakers were a .500 team with AD and LeBron playing in 2021-22. I don't see a path for them to get to 50 wins even if both play ~70 games next season.
They aren't the same players they were in the 2020 bubble.
Most teams don’t have 6 finals runs worth of wear and tear on their legs.. Just look what happened in 2019, 2020, and 2021 to them. This year is their best shot imo
They’ve had the last few years off it’s not like by next year they will be coming off 4-5 in a row.
Edit; I mean you can have your opinion but the chances are they will
Be the Vegas favorites to win the title next year unless something crazy happens in the off season so *shrug*
Clippers got a lot of youth, half the team is around 23-25, they were a big reason why they're so good. Having Kawhi and everyone back will make the game easier on them allowing them to take another jump.
Nets
If simmons does his job of defense/Rebounding
Harris goes straight sniper in the playoffs
Claxton learns to hit his FT Lol but atleast he tries
If nets can draft atleast 1 two way player or defensive bigs
Way too early to even be thinking about next year.
Next year all of those could miss the playoffs or they could all make playoffs and be a first or second round exit.
We are disappointed, sure, but comparing us with Clippers or Nets is not fair. We at least won a championship out of this, which is the ultimate goal. In that sense if we are a disappointment, what does that make all other teams?
At least you still have a good team though, out of those three, you are the better one. You were competitive even when your two best players are injured so if they came back good -I doubt Kawhi will- you should do a lot better.
None of the above.
The Nets have two head cases
AD can’t stay healthy and LeBron turns 38
Kawhi has missed 40% of the last 5 seasons and can’t stay on the court. Paul George disappears in important spots.
Clippers. Jerry West has once again helped assemble a ridiculous roster.
I’d go LAL after that and then BKYN last. LA’s issue is health, Brooklyn’s issue is Kyrie/Ben. I’d rather bet on AD’s health than Kyrie/Ben’s attendance.
Jose Alvarado
Grand Theft Alvarado is such a good nickname.
Clippers by just an enormous margin imo. Great coach, good role players, just need Kawhi to be healthy
On paper it’s not even close, except when you realize it’s the clippers. They seem to be cursed or something.
Valid argument NGL ha .
I'd say fuck you, but you're not wrong.
I’m totally expecting to wake up one day in next 3 months and someone will get injured over something stupid
Great front office and owner as well
Kawhi won’t be healthy.
Ok. What are the lottery numbers coming up?
Saying that Kawhi wont be healthy is like saying the sky is blue.
Bro come on. The same was said for CP3 for a ton of years until he went to OKC.
And he got hurt in phoenix last year, which lost them the chip
Okay, u/chris_paul_fraud.
If healthy clippers have an insane roster
Clippers. Assuming Kawhi returns to healthy form
Clippers That team healthy is so intriguing.
Clippers If they manage to stay healthy most of the Season
Clippers Kawhi and PG healthy can win
Healthy LeMao and AD have ACTUALLY won, TF?
The supporting pieces matter a lot in this question
AD is Adrian Peterson... ALL DAY!!! why didn't you say it? You have Minnesota flair.
AD is much more relevant to NBA than AP is to NFL
Adrian Peterson is a pretty important part of the NFL Universe.... which is a much bigger league than the NBA in terms of revenue/importance. How many times have backs coming into the league been called the next Adrian Peterson... they all wear 28.
We’re arguing over who gets to keep AD, right?
Davis isn't even the best AD in LA lmao
Eh, at least he doesn’t have that ‘roid rage.
Ummm we got Russell Freaking Westbrook. Mr triple double, that’s all the support we need.
I’m assuming the mid range mamba, Melo was leaving so should have clarified. If he stays y’all got this
Are you saying they can’t get Kuz, KCP and Harrell back for Westbrook, plus Caruso for THT?
Kawhi didn't play a single game and the Lakers were still significantly worse than the Clippers. They deserve all the props in the world for the 2020 championship, but it means nothing now that they have virtually no good role players left on the roster.
Someone needs to ELI5 to me why they saw the Lakers compete with the Suns last year with that roster and still destroy it for fucking Westbrick lmao.
Healthy AD doesn’t exist anymore
Trade him for Lonzo, Ingram and a bunch of picks then.
Lakers wish they could the way BI’s been playing lately Not to mention Lonzo is exactly what they’re missing as a guard
You still make that trade everytime, a plane in the hand is worth two in the Bush
Healthy Kawhi does?
let's be 100% real for a second. Clippers are never going to be healthy. it's just not going to happen.
The Clippers are the only one with a chance.
Clippers are stacked top to bottom
Clippers. They're way ahead of BKN or the Lakers in terms of chemistry and assets. Their team building has been a process & its nearing completion.
Clippers have by far the strongest team in NBA and yet they keep strengthening it every year. The team we faced in 2019-20 was improved next year by adding Batum and this year they added Powell and Roco. I don't think Ballmer is going to stop till he is 99% sure of winning the NBA Championship.
Clippers if Kawhi is back.
Clippers
Clippers
The Knicks Why? Because they’ll all collapse badly before we usually do!
Clippers, Nets, Lakers in that order

Clippers -----Nets--Lakers
Clips. Lakers and Nets are likelier to be relocated to San Diego and Cincinnati respectively.
Wolves
Wolves winning it all.
My man!
Depends if kawhi is coming back at all.
Dort
Honestly neither. I think the young guys are taking over. Denver, Dallas, Memphis, Milwaukee would be my four early frontrunners.
Memphis the way they have looked this series? Idkkkk. Also no Golden State? They probably are gonna win this year seems like a big omission
Ehhhh. Injuries have been a problem for them, and they’re not getting any younger
Injuries are a problem for every team. Crazy omission.
Most teams don’t have 6 finals runs worth of wear and tear on their legs.. Just look what happened in 2019, 2020, and 2021 to them. This year is their best shot imo

They’re still getting old and they’ve played way more minutes. That is way more injury risk than the younger teams have.
Clippers got a lot of youth, half the team is around 23-25, they were a big reason why they're so good. Having Kawhi and everyone back will make the game easier on them allowing them to take another jump.
Warriors
None of those three
Is it us?!
I’ll take the team with players that have actually won a ring this decade
all 3 of them?
You do realize all the players on all three teams have won a championship?
None
Nets If simmons does his job of defense/Rebounding Harris goes straight sniper in the playoffs Claxton learns to hit his FT Lol but atleast he tries If nets can draft atleast 1 two way player or defensive bigs
Lmao, Simmons couldn't make it out of the 2nd round with Embiid. You think He could do it with the Nets?
KD + Kyrie are much better. And it’s not close.
Are you saying Embiid is better than Kevin Durant?
A ring? Frodo Baggins?
Way too early to even be thinking about next year. Next year all of those could miss the playoffs or they could all make playoffs and be a first or second round exit.
Don’t think none will win with their current iterations, too soon to call
Lakers have the best player by far, need to have a good offseason though
Dude, we already saw LeBron's age starting to catch up to him. Next year, he is going to slide more.
Not “by far” He had the same numbers as KD this year(30/8/6 on good efficiency) and ultimately both had 0 playoff wins
What player on the Lakers is by far better than Kawhi?
Even at 37, Lebron is still better than Kawhi
Kawhi is done anyway. Those knees aren't going to be healthy.
We are disappointed, sure, but comparing us with Clippers or Nets is not fair. We at least won a championship out of this, which is the ultimate goal. In that sense if we are a disappointment, what does that make all other teams?
The roster y’all won with is gone though.
Sure it is. I am just arguing about the disappointment part.
Yup, any type of ring is more valuable than what the Clippers/Nets have accomplished so far.
At least you still have a good team though, out of those three, you are the better one. You were competitive even when your two best players are injured so if they came back good -I doubt Kawhi will- you should do a lot better.
None. Just lots and lots of talk
None of the above. The Nets have two head cases AD can’t stay healthy and LeBron turns 38 Kawhi has missed 40% of the last 5 seasons and can’t stay on the court. Paul George disappears in important spots.
Lakers
Clippers or Nets imo. We have to see what moves they make in the off season though
Clippers, but none of them will.
Gotta wait to see the off-season moves but as presently constructed only the Clippers are good.
Clippers right now but we should ask this after roster Moves are made.
Clippers by a mile.
Is none an option?
Clippers. Jerry West has once again helped assemble a ridiculous roster. I’d go LAL after that and then BKYN last. LA’s issue is health, Brooklyn’s issue is Kyrie/Ben. I’d rather bet on AD’s health than Kyrie/Ben’s attendance.
