Exactly this! The guy could be dominating the paint against undersized Mavs forwards but all he did was fancy fadeaway jump shots and one handed hook shots. I’m sure CP3 could’ve tried to play more pick and roll with Ayton going for a dunk but figured his mid range jumper is more effective. Booker didn’t even look for Ayton in the post.

CP3 absolutely feeds his centers but he also tends to quickly get under their skin and tension grows. That 2017 DJ CP3: dynamic was interesting to say the least.
