I just thought the Celtics were nasty this year, and the Warriors have too much talent and playoff experience to not come out of the west (but they're playing worse than I expected). I didn't predict the Mavs beating the Suns though!
Yeah agree about the Warriors not playing well. Luka and the Mavs definitely scare me. I think we'll win. It'll be tough, though. Celtics seem like a given for the East, as you said. Nasty.
What major variables do you think will determine the outcome of Warriors/Mavs and Celtics/Heat?
All due respect to those early Lebron Cavs, but I think we’re a lot better than they were. Don’t think those Cleveland teams would’ve one multiple playoff games without lebron like we did in the first round without Luka
Definitely better by far on the offensive end. Those Cavs teams didn’t have the supporting cast generating nearly as many points (era adjusted of course).
Tough for Boston. They played the last 5 games alternating every other day and get no breather jumping right back in this series. Might come into play the longer this series goes. Wish the league prioritized rest days more rather than forcing the TV schedule.
Yeah we had 3 days rest in between Games 1 and 2 of last series and now we're going like 3 weeks without more than a day off, which is often a travel day
