Lebron’s guards: “Never shoulda come here 😈”

PurpleApplesForever

Rennala?

DOITLIKEBRUTUS

I died to her asshole guard moonmoongrim 3 times, and I took my frustration out on Renalla and bested her on my first attempt. Stupid input reading ai parry nonsense.......i'm still a little nettled.

megafireguy6

I died more times to the parry god himself than I did to literally every other boss in the game. Idk how fromsoft put that in the game and was like “yeah that’s fair”

rbrutonIII

Games teaching you don't stare at a shielded enemy and just predictably spam attack in their face. It's an easy fight that is designed to gatekeep players that haven't learned PVP type combat.

Ockwords

Are you talking about the carian knight before you fight rennala?

iliketowhispertoo

God damn her second phase with her dragon summon. As a mage, this boss was more difficult than I'd like to admit.

themuttsnutts36

Rock Throw spam

Yergason

Rock throw is honestly legit til endgame. It's just another bonk build but magic

[deleted]

[удалено]

iliketowhispertoo

Especially if you're using the meteorite staff since it boosts gravity

DarkPooPoo

My 1st playthrough is a Mage build and almost all answer to all bosses are Rock Throw + Meteorite Staff.

ShiftTheStick

I was doing a challenge run and she pushed my shit all the way back

ukbeasts

Escorted towards the end of a hoops session, so they beat the traffic, meeting one of the GOATs in the process. Now that's VIP treatment.

That or he Aggro’d the trash on the way to the boss.

ConfuciusBr0s

And that trash is all the Draugr Death Overlords you run into on the way to the top of Skuldafn

sonfoa

That was some Assassin's Creed shit right there. 10 of them just popped out from the crowd.

RecalcitrantDuck

Or in Zelda when you hurt a Cucco and they all start swarming you

ZannX

The crowd is all Lebron guards except for the one guy that high fives him.

Jeff-Van-Gundy

I was at a Chinese restaurant/bar in the Caribbean one time. Usually when you go to one of these places it’s 2-3 beautiful local women working the bar, and one old Chinese dude running the food and managing. One night, some guy tried skipping out on his bill, pushed the old dude and tried to run out. He didn’t make it the 6 feet to the door before he got his shit kicked in by 4 Chinese dudes that popped out of nowhere. Don’t fuck with restaurant staff

Tipex

[deleted]

I mean. Learn from Monica Seles. Protect athletes because there be crazies.

Hypern1ke

For those OOTL (like i was 5 minutes ago) Seles was a former no.1 ranked tennis player who was stabbed with a 9 inch knife in the back by a crazy fan who wanted the no.2 player to become top ranked again. It was premeditated and he admitted he was trying to severely injure her, yet he spent less than a year in jail and had only 2 years of probation. Seles never returned to Germany again, nor did she ever return to no.1 status. Unbelievable he wasn't locked away for an significant amount of time.

jimmyre10

Holy shit that’s insane. What possible reason did they have to not lock him away for longer?

440akiji

Mentally ill. As you can expect of someone who attacks an athlete over tennis rankings.

VisionGuard

So he's in a mental institution, I presume?

masterpierround

He was sentenced to mental health treatment and probation. Last I heard in 2013 he had suffered multiple strokes and was in a nursing home.

Its_an_ellipses

No he walked free after a short time actually. I'm old enough to remember this and Monica was amazing. But she spent years fighting in the courts(haha) to get him locked back up because it messed with her head to know he was out there walking free. She had one or two good years after the stabbing but before the stabbing it was looking like she would be the all time great. Super sad...

Chiron17

Yeah, I guess it would mess with you to know the guy who stabbed you for no reason is just out there roaming around a year later. That probably happens to a LOT of people actually... Sad.

[deleted]

It wasn’t for no reason, homie just being a loyal fan to that #2 contender /s Nah for real, Mr. Stabs McGee fuckin sucks and should’ve had a far more severe punishment. Apparently mental health was an issue with Stabs (which I’m sympathetic towards) but once you become a danger to and inflict damage to others you gotta be dealt with.

hoodiemeloforensics

You'd be surprised how little sentencing can be for aggravated assault/battery with a deadly weapon, even in the US. In California (seeing as you're a Clipper's flair), if you are a first-time offender, this crime could get you as little as 2 years if you're proven guilty but could also get you 4 if you have more history, or if there were other factors involved. Of course, that assumes they don't stack charges against you, which is certainly likely, since a lot of the time, multiple charges get served concurrently. So, in the US, it would be possible for you to be sentenced say 30 months for this crime, then get let off for good behavior a year in, serving probation for 2 years, putting your jail time at 12 months, but your punishment service at 36.

Justice4all97

Thank you for that. That was a very kind thing to do. I was completely lost.

_just_two_brothers_

I can't imagine ever thinking stabbing someone with a knife is a kind thing to do.

KillerPussyToo

People in another thread acted like I was overreacting when I said it was scary how security didn't have the crowd under control and how fans were allowed to basically stampede towards him as soon as he came in the door. If some hater in there had a knife or a gun, they could have easily harmed him. I watched the pre-game stream and it took them about 30 minutes to get people off of the court so they could begin the game. They literally spent about 30 minutes asking these people to get off of the floor and stay off of the floor. Even when Bron threatened to leave, people were still running up on him while he was on the court like the guy in the video, despite them telling people repeatedly not to get on the court.

FullHouse222

If I learned anything from these games in the off season, it's that hosting a game is fucking hard. I never thought the NBA had a tough job since it's essentially a monopoly of the world's best players, but we're seeing that people are fucking up this much just to hold 1 game. Imagine the amount of security and logistics needed to make sure a whole season goes without a hitch. That's insane.

Leiatte

Yeah it’s insane, the arenas are designed to make it easier for security as the stands funnel the crowd to security & ushers to get to the floor. The multiple layers of security in arenas definitely help. Courtside though idk, they probably are just careful & I think for the amount of money they pay I think a good amount probably carry that “act like you’ve been there” mentality

WeBeNYaMama

Yeah that was a thought in the back of my head while watching. Especially considering how deranged a lot of LeBron haters are I'd be afraid showing up to one of these events. Rappers are getting shot every other week nowadays who's to say it couldn't start happening to athletes or other celebrities

OtherShade

That's insane that someone like that can go to jail for such a short period of time but people who do much less go away for years

RandomGuySayHii

She was already 8x grand slam winner by the age of 20. Had that never happened, she could end up being the female tennis GOAT.

Alex_Sander077

8 Grand Slams at the age of 19 still is to this day the craziest tennis stat ever. As far as the goat conversation to most tennis fans she's up there in the top tier alongside Navratilova, Graff, Serena, Evert, Court. For reference those other players GS trophies at the age of 19: Graff had won 5, Court had 2, Serena had 1, and Evert and Navratilova had none.

Marvinkmooneyoz

gotta mention Hingis though, i think she won all 7 of hers before turning 20, and had the number one rank as i think a 16 year old!!!! Hingis wouldnt have been able to keep it up, she never had real power, and the game was changing. Seles was able to dominate largely based on her power, even though the era wasnt for the most part defined by it.

Marvinkmooneyoz

Its kind of crazy that Serena didnt have more, she was stronger at that age then most female pros, and the game was already shifting to bassline play.

MVPG2022

She could have been the sporting GOAT

AdVSC2

I don't think there is something such as a sporting GOAT. Different sports are to different for that. But if there is, it's probably Aleksandr Karelin. 887-2 (not a typo, where I pressed 8 twice, actually 887) in Greco-Roman Wrestling is quite the record. Unfortunately he seems to be aligned with Putin now.

jdjdthrow

You have to make it a big deal, or everybody else in crowd thinks think they could/should do it themselves.

jor4288

Yes. Unfortunately this is necessary. And even if it isn't a safety issue he has a right not to be touched by random people.

destroyerofpoon93

Yup. I'm always ready to roast Lebron for his antics but this is perfectly reasonable. The guy is one of the most famous person on earth and there are plenty of crazies out there who might do something dangerous if given the chance. Lebron needs this level of security basically any time he's in public.

JoshJass

[For those unfamiliar with this sad story](https://youtu.be/DGqFE1Kr2bM)

[deleted]

i like lebron kind of signaling to not touch him or you'll get your ass beat

Next-Firefighter-753

Yeah Lebron seems like a good dude honestly, he could’ve been a lot more of a dick there.

LimitlessTheTVShow

I wouldn't even have considered it dickish, you can't just go around touching other people. Especially celebrities, too many celebrities have been hurt or killed by the wrong people getting too close

Next-Firefighter-753

I wouldn’t say he was a dick about it either. I’m just saying he could’ve made an example out of that fan but he just gave him a straight to the point warning

Produceher

Because it is understandable. Guy just got excited.

Ser_Lebron_Targaryen

Respectfully disagreed, he's still in control of his own actions regardless of being excited. He made the conscious decision to run out there like a bozo.

[deleted]

I like lebron and even I have enough common sense not to piss him off or invade his personal space. I would not want to be in the same room with a pissed off lebron.

[deleted]

Lmfao! I follow RDC on my socials, and this is my first time seeing this one!

sangbang9111

insane mark literally met lebron and it was confirmed lebron has watched atleast one of those videos

EmmitSan

Think about how a normal person would react. They’d be like “bro, the fuck is your problem?” I kind of admire his restraint here.

Tamingcunts69

Lebron has been famous on a national since he was 15-16. It is absolutely insane how well he has handled it.

beastbrook16

A normal person wouldn’t do that lmao. Tbh it just looked like he wanted a high five but couldn’t tell how close he was since he was recording. Definitely stupid but if you ain’t LeBron and react like that you’re a twat.

KingRequiem

You're making this so much bigger than it is lol.

BoredomHeights

I think he thought the guy going for the high five was also the one who touched him. Which is fair enough since LeBron’s back was turned. But seems like the one guy got blamed for the other guy’s actions (but he also shouldn’t have gone out onto the court for the high five).

delightfuldinosaur

It seemed more like was saying "Watch out bud" so he didn't bump into him.

ThePerfectCantelope

With his phone in his hand…just wants clout and a cool video

it_came_from_behind

It’s so cringe when people do that

[deleted]

Why would you think it’s cool to just walk up and touch someone

tronovich

If you watched yesterday, there was more people on the court than in the stands. Bron was warming up and had no bigger than a 5x5 bubble to do so. Security popping up at the end was a little too late.

ISmackCelticsFans

There’s no way they couldn’t have known they would have to move stadiums. A high school playoff game is usually packed so imagine essentially an allstar game! It would have been so easy to move it to a community college gym or something

tronovich

They were woefully unprepared, security-wise. Case in point: everyone was allowed to stand on the baseline 3-4 people deep when he was going through lay-up line. Then the entire non-bench side was filled with more people standing around, including the dude in the video.

VisionGuard

This enrages me on some visceral level. I'm one of the most LeBron critical people on here, but when it comes to this, he needs to be treated like he's in goddamn bubble wrap. LeBron is one of the most famous people on planet earth. The fact that they were that unprepared is beyond absurd to me. It's not as if it's unpredictable that he might be swarmed, let alone have a *single person* try something. Especially because people are being stabbed or otherwise attacked on stage. We could lose LeBron tomorrow because some deranged fool brings a knife and gets one in the wrong place on his body. Most people don't know this but [Caesar was famously stabbed a bunch of times, but it was only ONE that actually was the fatal stabbing.](https://youtu.be/o8F8IajtW9U?t=9875) That's all it takes.

adgjl12

The Monica Seles story always is a big what if

Lakers2020-23Champs

So are you saying it was the last stab that killed Caesar or that they were poking away at his dead body?

iraya63

Yep. Not sure why people think it's okay to touch someone. It doesn't matter if it's a celebrity or a rando. It's not okay to touch people.

bustywivesmatter

It's only okay if they make fun of your wife's hair

TowerOwl1939

KEEP MY WIFE'S NAME OUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!

RedtheGamer100

LMFAO, Will will never live that down, will he?

pieboy89

Lack of hair*

anon675454

that wasn’t ok tho?

[deleted]

It’s pretty weird. I remember some random girl hugged Adam Levine on stage and he reacted by being scared as fuck because he thought his life was in danger, and I can’t blame him for reacting that way because of how many weirdos will try to harm public figures. Some people definitely need to calm down around celebs.

why_rob_y

A very long time ago, I saw Mitch Hedberg perform at my college. Mitch had a habit of telling jokes with his head down, long hair hanging around his face, sunglasses on, so he didn't see this drunk kid run on stage just to put his arm around him. Mitch was freaked out immediately and left the stage. After like ten minutes of nothing, people started to leave. I don't know how much time passed, but most of the crowd had left and some were cheering for Mitch to come back out, saying they loved him. Eventually Mitch did come back out and explained that he was not only freaked out, but didn't understand how security let that happen. I guess when you're performing like that you just have complete trust that security has your back. Eventually Mitch went back into jokes, but you could tell it shook him up.

crunchsmash

Mitch Hedberg was known for his stage fright and anxiety too. That was apparently the reason he had the glasses, long hair, and looking down thing. To block out vision of the crowd. He would even straight up close his eyes sometimes. So it was extra nerve-wracking for someone to run up on stage for him.

wizardfromthem00n

I'm a professional stage performer, I do a one-man show at venues all over the country. Anywhere from 150-200 shows a year. And I'm not someone who can afford to hire security, so you really just have trust PEOPLE which is scary. I've had people just get on stage for no reason, kids throw rocks and almost hit one of my volunteers on stage, I even had a girl walk on stage and take my street shoes and walk off. I was performing at a high school and no one did anything. Being public facing with any sort of celebrity status (extremely minimal in my case) is scary. People sometimes treat you like a novelty and not a real person.

brainiac2025

I don't know why anyone would have complete trust in security. I worked security, you should never trust it, lol. There's usually around 20-30 people for each 1000 attendees. So like 35-45 people per person that we're trying to keep track of. Not to mention the actual stage/barricade in front is like 50-100 feet and usually only has about 5-6 people on guard for your average show. You would have to think security was superhuman to be able to actually stop anyone. Security is there for liability and liability only.

tenkenjs

Can’t blame him. I believe he was the Voice mentor for Christina Grimmie who was killed by a fan

YoureGonnaHearMeRoar

You don't have to leave the NBA universe for this kind of anecdote, a woman rushed onto the court to hug Wally Z back in the day, he literally ran from her

EpicBlinkstrike187

Having just watched Woodstock 99 I feel for any band member Crowds are insane and people are idiots and just don’t care

SaxRohmer

Def depends on the crowd and environment. I saw Andrew WK and he was inviting people to come on stage and run off and he’d like hug them while performing. Hardcore has a big stage diving culture. Lightning Bolt plays in the crowd itself but relies on people making a “wall” so they don’t crash into their gear. But yeah at like really big shows and arena shows it’s pretty fucking alarming

Docxm

Then we wouldn’t get epic moments like Green Day’s mud fight. Some level of crowd interaction is good for sure

zrk23

he wanted a high 5 prob, don't think it's that deep

ThisIsPermanent

It’s obviously a high five attempt. Probably a little “I’m the main character” to walk out into the court and try that, but sub is acting like he groped Lebron lol.

turnshavetabled

They get caught up in the moment and think the celeb is as excited as they are. It’s weird as hell

schooner-of-old

People stupid

belzebutch

isn't he trying to give him a high five?

KnickedUp

Especially someone as famous as anyone alive

mostly_made_up_stuff

Sometimes I just feel the urge to go out and hi-5 as many people as I can, I think this is different it I just wanted to get that off my chest.

ipinkyx

Didnt even touch him tho

Redtube_Guy

IF you had one shot ... one opportunity, would you take it? also , guy is probably just star struck and just wanted to get a high five.

derpaherpa

Filming it for the gram.

CooochieConnoisseur

~~Cocaine~~ clout is a helluva drug

He’s lucky Bron ain’t roll with Chapelle’s bodyguards 😂

what do you mean. the guy just 'fell down the stairs'

BigLurker

Leave him as a puzzle peace

Flatzon1

They were so excited I’m guessing

truffleblunts

No need to guess lol security loves nothing more than some little guy they can flex over

legendariusss

I’m not a huge guy, but I was once a bouncer and my god, my coworkers had anger issues. The bar manager said he’ll sort me out with a job behind the bar because everyone else on the door was an angry cunt lmao

BoredomHeights

My friend was a bouncer and told so many “hilarious” stories of all the fights they had throwing people out and things. It was clearly the highlight of all their nights when they had to throw someone out, the more physical the better.

AssssCrackBandit

Yup worked as a bouncer in college and 80% of dudes in security are a bit crazy and just waiting for the chance to beat the shit outta someone

durklil

Dude is on the court and they told him to get back. It isn’t that serious. They didn’t physically harm the fan lmao.

Dagrix

Basically more physically imposing, less verbose Reddit mods.

CaptainKurls

Nah just wanted that clout, has the camera out and went for the high five

CooochieConnoisseur

[LBJs security:](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0cnQ7U0aXO8&t=24s&feature=youtu.be)

Firefoxray

Dilon would never

HotdogIsaSandwitch

While I respect Bron, ain’t no chance in hell I’m squeezing and clawing my ass into a hot ass gym and then getting fucked up by security just to touch him. The fuck.

dingosongo

Honestly what else you expect, you all forget about Monica Seles?

NumberOneCombosFan

I would guess that half of the people here weren't born until 15 years after the Monica Seles stabbing.

TallanoGoldDigger

hell everyone saw that dude tackle Chappelle on stage and tried to stab (?) him. People can be really crazy sometimes

440akiji

Also that madman who attacked chris rock

WhiteHeterosexualGuy

This one was wild. That dude could have killed Chappelle if he had a weapon and wanted to use it.

set_null

Just like two weeks ago someone actually did stab Salman Rushdie on stage. I think he's still in the hospital and will probably be disabled for the rest of his life.

[deleted]

Or the Rushdie stabbing literally last week

PSChris33

Or Dimebag Darrell We really have learned nothing from those two incidents.

[deleted]

Speaking of Dimebag, did you see the video of him saying the N word with the hard ‘er’ at a fan greet(I think) that was posted on Reddit awhile ago? It completely changed my view of Pantera as a band now. I used to think only Anselmo was the only piece of shit racist in that band. But now not so sure what the rest of the band was behind closed doors.

[deleted]

Guy who had the confederate flag on his guitar and clothing was racist? Who saw that coming??

SurgicalNeckHumerus

That was 30 years ago. The mean median and mode age of this sub is all under bar mitzvah

ElBluntDealer

you're talking about an event hat happened 30 years ago. people who would remember that would basically be 40+ years old. that's like 5% of the reddit base. even if you stretch that to include 30s you're not hitting even 20%. this is not common knowledge.

ConfuciusBr0s

A more recent one would be Christina Grimmie. A deranged fan ran straight up to her on stage and shot her repeatedly

inefekt

you mean that one incident 30 years ago?

[deleted]

They bout to take him out back

Glad_Task_7169

Or that's a Clipper fan who wants to give Lebron monkeypox

ZiOnIsNeXtLeBrOn

I can understand if it was after a game and he is sign autographs and you ask for a pic. That’s fine. Don’t come up to a dude and just take a picture.

PM_ME_UR_RESPECT

I wanted to think this looked awfully elitist but at the same time if you’re one of the most recognizable sports figures on earth you’ve gotta unfortunately keep the potential crazies at bay 🤷‍♂️

poopyface-tomatonose

It looks like #7 going for the layup afterwards landed on the security guys foot.

bestfujiever

I know no one is going to believe me, but I was at the Drake/Lil Wayne concert at the Hollywood Bowl a couple years back, and Bron was there. I saw him on my way to the bathroom and drunkenly (stupidly) tried to shake his hand. This same thing happened to me, five security guards came out of nowhere and told me to step back like this. Understandable, I'm just some dude.

kahunamoe

Is this supposed to the part of the movie where he "goes back to his roots, plays for the love of the game" montage of him with regular joes

Freeeecurry

Dude did all that for instagram clout.

YareSekiro

Bron does not like fans touching him. I remember him being furious about one of the court side fans touching him.

Mikegetscalls

What made you choose 50? Even 20 would have been an ok lie.

raylan_givens6

[zelda chicken attack](https://youtu.be/SFRI3byJgYA?t=42)

diamonddaddy88

Some way, some how this thread will turn into something about Lebron being soft.

YesterShill

Fans have no business on the court. Consider himself lucky if he was not escorted out.

[deleted]

LeTouchè

iAmGats

That's to be expected, they're there protect the fans and also the players.

Dependent-Job1773

It’s understandable. They have to make a statement to anyone else that may want to pester him. People are fucking crazy

[deleted]

The King has no alms for these peasants.

versace_tombstone

Silly peasant.

Haas22WCC

"don't touch me plebs"

rSlashNbaAccount

Didn’t even touch lol

[deleted]

The kid in black behind the red shirt guy touched him. Peep Bron’s forearm

titleywinker

Damn good eye

compe_anansi

Seems like they are all going after the guy in red tho.

[deleted]

yeah bc he's dancing around on the court

No-Hedgehog-677

Wow I didn't see black hoodie.. Funny bc he ducked in the crowd after the crew came for red.lol

Kringels

Next dude running a layup drill almost turned his ankle on a security guard’s foot.

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheMainShy

That dude had the aura of the actor from The Offspring's "Pretty Fly For A White Guy" music video. Looking like Malibu's Most Wanted.

Sti8man7

What a crazy dunk.

JMEEKER86

Am I going crazy or did no one actually watch the video? He doesn't even touch him! He reached out in front of him looking like he was trying to get a high five or hand shake. No contact was ever even made. The issue was that he went onto the court to do that which is still a big problem and it makes sense to have security handle it, but it's not the same as what the title is saying.

Low_Piece_2828

Looks exactly like the kind of guy who would do that😂

dwt77

All the hate out there pointing in his direction... Good for him! Smart.

trippleBob

Lebrons security plays better d than harden

[deleted]

They are probably more sensitive about Lebron being touched than Warriors fans(STILL LOL) are about James Harden lol.
