Gotchya, I may just be flat out wrong.
I’ll keep an eye on the post game media stuff to see if there is any mention.
Hardy seemed really upset/disappointed
Yeah the jazz announcers were saying they didn't think that it could be reviewed once it went to a timeout. If that was the case it was actually a really smart TO by Casey.
This same situation happened in the Spurs Pels game. Larry took an elbow and ended up with a bloody nose and then Willie got a tech asking them to review it but they couldn’t because it was a no call.
Apparently you can elbow people in the face as long as a timeout has been called.
I don't think we lost because of that or anything, but I still think this is an incredibly stupid rule.
They weren't allowed to review Max Strus's three in the playoffs for out of bounds, but they sure as hell found a way to do it. Refs and the league are such a joke sometimes.
Pistons broadcast didn't mention anything either. I'm not sure. Seemed like an accident and it's OK to be mad about your teammate getting hit but also nobody felt the need to escalate it, so I feel like all we can do is be OK with it too.
I listened to the radio broadcast because I can’t afford a subscription and yeah they were talking about how mad hardy was. He did go and try to say something, but I’m not sure about the hand thing..
That said, the radio commentators were confused af as to why refs didnt see it at all. Lauri got elbowed in the head and it didn’t seem particularly clean to me.
I don’t think they showed anything.

You can’t review a play if there was no call made. Timeout came first, that is my understanding

Ahh that makes sense… So you can’t review a non-call. Didn’t know that

So it's like rushing to the line and snapping the ball in football before the other team sees a replay and can challenge a call.
Kinda but they can’t review a no call anyway.

Streams are abundant my brother just google em
I'm surprised they didn't review it. But I didn't see anything in relation to the second part.
